<p>One of the biggest follies I see agents make time and time again is wasting good money on what they think will make the phone ring.</p>

<p>I am the first to confess that when I first saw Twitter and a host of the other social networks that I just didn’t get it. Frankly people from around the world were inviting me to become their “friend”.</p>
<p>Maybe it’s just me but the word “friend” has great significance in my personal space and I don’t make friends easily. I have thousands of acquaintances however it takes a while before I let someone in close enough within my inner circle to be a friend.</p>
<p>Semantics aside I am finally taking an objective look at the Big 3 – Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and stepping cautiously into the fray.</p>
<p>That being said I have been reaching out to top agents and gurus to help crack the code and get it right.</p>
