<p><strong>Tip #4: Don’t allow too much time for a task</strong></p>
<p>If you set aside two hours to finish a task, chances are it will take that much time &#8211; even if it could have been done in one. Allow yourself only the time you need to get it done and move right on to the next task.</p>
<p><strong>Tip #5: Avoid the internet</strong></p>
<p>It’s tempting to get online and lose 15 minutes here and there reading articles or checking your social networking sites, but over the long run this can eat away at your productivity. Not only are you losing the time spent on these websites, you’re also losing the time it takes to refocus and get back into a task.</p>
<p><strong>Tip #6: If you’ve reached a plateau, take a short break</strong></p>
<p>It may seem counter-productive to take a break, but if you limit your time and do something like take a walk (a great way to clear your mind), you can actually increase your productivity once you return to work.</p>

<p>If you feel bad and wrong how is that going to make her feel? It’s not a compelling sexual space, that’s for sure.</p>
<p>On the other hand, if you let it be ok that you want sex and that you’re a healthy sexual man, there’s a “clean” interaction when you express your desire. She might say ‘no,’ but at least you’ve allowed yourself to express what is real for you and that’s a powerful place to be.</p>
<p>When men try to hide sexual interest, they feel weak and out of integrity. You feel as if you’re trying to coerce her into loving you, and that doesn’t feel good.</p>
<p>Put your attention instead on wanting her, instead of wanting “sex.” It’s a very different focus. It’s ok to want her, she wants that. A woman wants to be wanted and thrives on it.</p>

But recent studies have shown that this is a big, I mean big mistake.  In fact, you could say that the whole aerobics explosion of a few decades past was one of the biggest mistakes in the health and fitness industry.  Why?</p>
<p>There are several reasons, but I’ll focus on the two main issues here.  When you exercise at a moderate pace for extended periods of time (as in the typically recommended percent of your target heart rate), your body is burning fat during the exercise.  While this may sound good, it’s actually bad news.</p>
<p>This sends a signal to your body to keep a certain amount of stored fat available for your next workout.  You’re essentially telling it that it needs fat available to burn, ‘because you’ll be doing this exercise again.  So while we may be burning some calories during this exercise, after the exercise is over, our body begins storing up some fat for the next workout.  Obviously not what we’re looking for in terms of maximum ability to burn fat fast.</p>
<p>The other big concern with moderately paced aerobic exercise performed several times per week is that it trains your body (heart, lungs, muscles, etc.) to become efficient.  Again, this may sound good, but what is actually happening is bad for long term health.  You are working only within your existing aerobic limits, without improving your aerobic capacity.</p>
<p>This is important because your aerobic capacity is what determines how your body responds in times of physical, emotional, and mental stress.  If you reduce your capacity for work, as you do in this type of exercise, you’re reducing your long term health, no to mention a poor chance of burning fat.</p>
<p>The good news is, you can reverse these effects by instead focusing your workouts on high intensity resistance training, with workouts that last 15-20 minutes on average, and can only be performed 2-3 times per week.</p>
<p>These workouts will burn carbohydrates instead of fat during the workout, and will cause your body to use its fat stores to replenish the burned carbs over the next 24 hours, after the workout is done!  This type of work will also increase your reserve capacity and thus your ability to handle all types of stress, leading to lasting health and fitness&#8230;and 24/7 fat burning.  Nice!</p>
<p>But the exercise must be performed correctly to be effective, and that means using sufficient intensity, and keeping your rest periods between exercises and sets down to 60 seconds or less.</p>

<p>I believe this parable of the Mexican Fisherman and the questions for you that follow will demonstrate what I mean:<br />

<p><strong>The Mexican Fisherman and the Investment Banker</strong></p>
<p>An investment banker was at the pier of a small coastal Mexican  village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked. Inside the  small boat were several large yellowfin tuna.</p>
<p>The banker complimented the Mexican on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took to catch them.</p>
<p>The Mexican replied, &#8220;Only a little while.&#8221;</p>
<p>The banker then asked why didn&#8217;t he stay out longer and catch more fish?</p>
<p>The Mexican said he had enough to support his family&#8217;s immediate needs.</p>
<p>The banker then asked, &#8220;But what do you do with the rest of your time?&#8221;</p>
<p>The Mexican fisherman said, &#8220;I sleep late, fish a little, play with  my children, take siestas with my wife, stroll into the village each  evening where I sip wine, and play guitar with my amigos. I have a full  and busy life.&#8221;</p>
<p>The investor scoffed, &#8220;I am an Ivy League MBA and could help you. You  should spend more time fishing and with the proceeds, buy a bigger  boat. With the proceeds from the bigger boat, you could buy several  boats, and eventually you would have a fleet of fishing boats. &#8221;</p>
<p>The investor continued, &#8220;And instead of selling your catch to a  middleman you would then sell directly to the processor, eventually  opening your own cannery. You would control the product, processing, and  distribution! You would need to leave this small coastal fishing  village and move to Mexico City, then Los Angeles and eventually New  York City, where you will run your expanding enterprise.&#8221;</p>
<p>The Mexican fisherman asked, &#8220;But how long will this all take?&#8221;</p>
<p>To which the banker replied, &#8220;Perhaps 15 to 20 years.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;But what then?&#8221; asked the Mexican.</p>
<p>The banker laughed and said, &#8220;That&#8217;s the best part. When the time is  right you would announce an IPO and sell your company stock to the  public and become very rich. You would make millions!&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Millions. Okay, then what?&#8221; wondered the Mexican.</p>
<p>To which the investment banker replied, &#8220;Then you would retire. You  could move to a small coastal fishing village where you would sleep  late, fish a little, play with your kids, take siestas with your wife,  and stroll to the village in the evenings where you could sip wine and  play your guitar with your amigos.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>And 25 Questions for You</strong></p>
<p><strong>1. What matters most in your life?</strong></p>
<p><strong>2. What do you spend excess time and energy on that really doesn’t matter so much?</strong></p>
<p><strong>3. What do you really need in your life?</strong></p>
<p><strong>4. What do you merely want in your life?</strong></p>
<p><strong>5. Are the time, energy and money you are putting out for  these wants, and any consequential frustration you experience, worth it?</strong></p>
<p><strong>6. Why do you work? What are you working toward, or for?</strong></p>
<p><strong>7. Who loves you?</strong></p>
<p><strong>8. Who loves you so much that, no matter what you did and no  matter what has happened to you, they would try to be there for you?</strong></p>
<p><strong>9. Who do you love?</strong></p>
<p><strong>10. Who do you love so much that, no matter what they did and  no matter what happened to them, you would try to be there for them?</strong></p>
<p><strong>11. Does living a simpler life appeal to you?</strong></p>
<p><strong>12. Does it appeal to you enough to try to live it? What would you have to give up?</strong></p>
<p><strong>13. Will you give it up? If not, why not?</strong></p>
<p><strong>14. What could you say or do to make the friends in your life  and the strangers you encounter happier, and the world a happier place?</strong></p>
<p><strong>15. Will you say or do it?</strong></p>
<p><strong>16. Recall some of your fondest memories? What was the key ingredient &#8212; stuff that costs money, or people?</strong></p>
<p><strong>17. What do you regret not having done in your life?</strong></p>
<p><strong>18. What is stopping you from doing it, and will you let it stop you?</strong></p>
<p><strong>19. What are your biggest goals and dreams?</strong></p>
<p><strong>20. What is honestly stopping you from pursuing them, and will you let it stop you?</strong></p>
<p><strong>21. You may have made mistakes, we all do. But are you a good person or a bad person?</strong></p>
<p><strong>22. Are you doing the best you can?</strong></p>
<p><strong>23. What are you thankful for?</strong></p>
<p><strong>24. Why are you here, on this earth, and what do you intend to do with the rest of the precious time you are here?</strong></p>

<p>We&#8217;ve made the same mistakes ourselves. That&#8217;s not who we are talking about today.</p>
<p>Our encouragement for you is to keep your eyes wide open here when we tell you that if there are people in your life who are holding your back, letting you down, slowing you down, and plainly disappointing you…</p>
<p><strong>It is time to let go.</strong></p>
<p>If you are looking in the mirror right now, it’s time to set yourself free.</p>
<p>If you are truly ready to be all you are created to be, you must stop allowing others to hold you back — no matter the past circumstances.</p>

<h3>How to Un-friend</h3>
<p>Here&#8217;s how to know when to let go, un-friend, and finally free yourself of the pain, stress and drama</p>
<p><strong>Step 1 &#8211; First and always: Make sure you are being exactly who you want to be in this relationship.</strong></p>
<p>If you want them to support you in your mission, you MUST inform them what that mission is. And then you must empower them to help you in that mission.<a href="http://heartandsoldsystem.com/fasttrack?orid=173&amp;opid=13" target="_blank"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-29444" title="Surround yourself with others who will lift you up" src="http://itsallaboutwomen.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Friends-talking-2-300x215.jpg" alt="" width="260" height="186" /></a></p>
<p>If you haven&#8217;t done that yet, start here. <strong>You may not need to un-friend after all.</strong></p>
<p>Before you enforce the boundary, you must create it and get on the right side.</p>
<p>Start with you, and all YOU can do to fight the good fight and do what is right first.</p>
<p><strong>Step 2 &#8211; If you have exhausted all that exists in step one, and you have already clearly communicated where you are being let down or where needs are not being met, and they are still letting you down&#8230; now&#8217;s the time.</strong></p>
<p>Un-friending someone does not have to be a big deal.</p>
<p>It can, and should be, as simple as you no longer going out of your way.</p>
<p>Often, it’s not even an out-loud conversation. It’s an internal conversation you have with yourself to just create the boundary.</p>

<p>and even hold you truthfully accountable to what is right.</p>
<p>And the only way to do that is to remove those who do not.</p>
<p><strong>If you are still struggling to let go of a toxic friendship, consider the resulting freedom the greatest gift you can give yourself and to them.</strong></p>
<p>What is sapping your energy is certainly sapping theirs, so do them the favor of setting you both free to move on in the most loving way you know how.</p>
<p>Anything less would be un-authentic.</p>
