Yall, let's keep Maia in our prayers. I came across this video yesterday and after watching it (which had to be the longest six minutes of my life) I told myself that I wouldn't bother putting it on this site because I didn't want to come across as looking as if I was exploiting her. If you've read my previous blog posts on Maia, you'd know that, unlike other bloggers, I am a fan of hers (as well as her mother and author, the late Bebe Moore Campbell) and therefore my heart truly goes out to her because of everything she's been through in the last couple of years.

Apparently, a couple of messy-ass, punk-ass dudes who obviously never had any kind of home training or respect for other people's shortcomings, felt the need to record Maia when she was obviously having a bad day. This is the second time this year, folks have used her mental illness against her to blast her on the Internet. And that's why I didn't even entertain the notion of posting that particular video. But now, enough is enough. The most recent video, which I posted below, is not funny or entertaining in any way. If anything, it's a cry for help. Now, I know we can't help someone unless they want help, but still, if someone, anyone, out there who happens to read this, and has the resources to get Maia the help she needs, please do so. This is my sole reason for posting this video.

I think Michael would have been so proud of his adorable kids today...as well as his family and fans. Today's memorial service was beyond beautiful. Sad yet uplifting. Emotional yet encouraging. Below are pics from Michael's memorable memorial from earlier today. I enjoyed every minute of it. But it's still so hard for me to accept the fact that he's gone because he has literally been a part of my entire life. Rest in peace, Michael.

But the coup de grace came during Paris' impromptu speech from the stage surrounded by the Jackson family. “I just want to say ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you can ever imagine. And I just want to say I love him so much,” she said through tears. Her aunts Janet Jackson and Rebbie then took her into her arms for a hug before the entire Jackson family then left the stage, closing the service that lasted more than two hours. I'm still trying to understand how Janet, Rebbie and LaToya were able to contain themselves after Paris spoke. She was indeed her daddy's little girl.

The moving tribute was especially startling because it marked one of the first times Michael's daughter has ever been heard publicly. Something else I want to add: we all know that Katherine only has temporary custody of her grandchildren for now. It's also been reported that Debbie Rowe (the mother of the two oldest kids) is seeking custody which would separate them from their baby brother, Blanket. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that these kids belong with the grandmother they know. Anyone could see the bond Katherine shares with those kids. Therefore and thus and such, it would be a great dishonor for any judge to tear them away from her. With all of the love and support Katherine has from her other kids, Michael's kids will always be loved and taken care of. That's all Michael wanted.

According to cbsnews.com, the PR firm Sachs & Associates announced that within the first hour-and-a-half of allowing fans to sign up for the drawing, the Web site received 500,000,000 hits, averaging 120,000 per second. Duplicate registrations are not allowed, so those seeking a chance are being asked to log on only once. Meanwhile, an additional server has been added to accommodate the volume of traffic.

Ain't that something?!! Even in death, Michael continues to break more records; sending legions of fans, stans and haters in a complete frenzy.

If you plan on attending Michael Jackson's public memorial on next Tuesday, there are a couple of important things you need to know. A press conference was held today where Los Angeles city and law officials carved out the details of how folks can receive free tickets to the memorial. First and foremost: If you don't have a ticket, you ain't getting in. You will be turned away from the Staples Center by the LAPD. Below are more key points from the press conference.

17,500 tickets are available; 11,000 will be issued for the Staples Center where you can attend the memorial as it broadcast live. 6,500 tickets are available for the Nokia Center (across the street from the Staples Center), where you can watch the live telecast of the memorial.
Tickets are only available to U.S. citizens.
You can register for free tickets (at least two) today at Staples.com; the deadline is tomorrow at 6 p.m. They're treating it like a web lottery. You register and then there's a random drawing. If you're selected you'll be contacted on Sunday by email with directions.
You must provide a valid ID in order to attend the memorial at either location. I believe they'll also give you some type of code or wristband.
For the public's safety, there will be no big screens/speakers outside of Staples Center. So if you want to experience the celebration of Michael's life, either register for a ticket or watch it from the comfort of your own home. There will be no outsiders/bystanders outside the Staples Center besides law enforcement officials.
A live feed will be provided by every network free of charge.
There will not be a funeral procession before or after the service.
Officials refused to answer questions on if there would be a public viewing of Michael's body at the memorial. According to newsweek.com, Michael's mother Katherine and sister Janet are allegedly opposed to having a public viewing because Michael's body isn't in shape to be viewed by the public.
No details about the order of service (i.e. who's performing, which celebrities are expected to be in attendance, etc.) were announced.
A private funeral for the Jackson family (and invite guests) will be held before the public memorial. Plans are underway to have more memorials across the United States.
Still no word on where his final resting place will be.

^^Yeah, Michael, that was my expression too as I watch the 2009 B.E.T. awards!

Were you as pissed off as I was while watching B.E.T.'s (or as I refer to them: Barely Entertainment Television) crap of a tribute to Michael Jackson? With their messy-ass, tacky-ass selves! Yeah, I said it! At first I wasn't going to post anything about it, but now the more I think about it, the madder I get. Is that how you salute a worldwide legend and icon? Somebody done told them wrong. Anyhoo, what I'm about to tell you all may piss you off even more. It was because of Don Cornelius babbling on and on about the O'Jays (no offense to them, of course) and several other screw-ups during the live taping of the show that caused B.E.T. (I also refer to them as Bootleg Entertainment Television) to NIX the five and a half minute video tribute they prepared specifically for the show after Michael's death.

MICHAEL JACKSON'S LAST REHEARSAL + A MEMORIAL HAS BEEN PLANNED.

What you see above are images of Michael Jackson at his last full dress rehearsal, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, as he prepared for his 'This Is It' tour which was scheduled to kick-off in just a few weeks. Today CNN provided exclusive video footage from that rehearsal. Unfortunately what no one knew is that just a few short hours after Michael wrapped that rehearsal, he would later be found dead in his home at the age of 50. Over 100 hours of rehearsal footage has been captured on tape and according to some reports, there are plans to release it on DVD. Let's cross our fingers. Check out a clip below.

Watching the video emoted bittersweet feelings for me. Michael looked like his regular self; although several media reports claimed he was too frail to rehearse even after being given a clean bill of health back in March. It didn't look that way to me. All I see when I look at this video is a man who was determined to give his fans what they wanted. A chance to see him live in concert performing his past hits for one last time. He even took it a step further by reverting back to his hairstyle from his Smooth Criminal days. Bless his heart! LOL!

He will be thoroughly missed.

In related news, the Staples Center will also be the site of Jackson's memorial service, which is scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the 20,000-seat Los Angeles coliseum, according to a person briefed by a family representative. Still no word on where Michael's final resting place will be.

Michael Jackson's family issued a heart wrenching statement regarding his passing on Thursday, June 25th. Read it in its entirety below:

In one of the darkest moments of our lives we find it hard to find the words appropriate to this sudden tragedy we all had to encounter. Our beloved son, brother and father of three children has gone so unexpectedly, in such a tragic way and much too soon. It leaves us, his family, speechless and devastated to a point, where communication with the outside world seems almost impossible at times.

We miss Michael endlessly, our pain cannot be described in words. But Michael would not want us to give up now. So we want to thank all of his faithful supporters and loyal fans worldwide, you – who Michael loved so much. Please do not despair, because Michael will continue to live on in each and every one of you. Continue to spread his message, because that is what he would want you to do. Carry on, so his legacy will live forever.

In addition, Joseph Jackson wishes to personally convey: "My grandchildren are deeply moved by all the love and support you have shown for them and their father, Michael Jackson."

MICHAEL JACKSON DEAD @ 50 + B.E.T. AWARD TRIBUTES & MY PERSONAL STORY.

As I write this post, I am beyond beside myself with grief. I hope you all can read it without it sounding too choppy and all over the place. Anyhoo, to say that we have lost the greatest entertainer this world has ever known would be a gross understatement. I know I'm not alone in thinking that. I have cried and cried and cried since hearing the news. I must've freaked out my 9-year old niece because she had no idea why her auntie was crying so hard. So much so that my head is still throbbing. My chest was literally aching. Last night, I cried for hours. I cried just as hard as I did when my daddy died (Michael was the same age as my father when he passed). I cried even more when I would turn to MTV or BET and see one of his videos playing. After a while, I said to myself, 'SouthernGurl, stop it. You're going to make yourself sick. It's okay to mourn his passing, but you should also celebrate his life.' And that's what I did. I pulled out my Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad and Greatest Hits cds and commenced to singing and dancing my ass off something proper like. And it's funny because once I got that hard cry out, I realized that, like my daddy, Michael also lived a full life. But my heart still hurts for Michael. I pray he's at peace. I love him so much. He will be sorely missed. Real talk. I also want to give a shout out to my childhood friend of over 25 years, Asia, who I hadn't talked to in years. It was Michael's death that motivated her to reach out to me...she was the first person to do so. Our talk was long overdue and I'm just so happy we were able to reconnect. I still don't know if the buckets of tears I shed during our phone call was due to Michael's passing or us finally being able to talk again! I'm just glad it happened. I'll see you soon, Acey-A!

Back to Michael. I've been in love with that man since I was 4 years old (ask my mama or anybody who knows me) when my parents bought me my first album ever: Off the Wall in 1979! By the time I was in kindergarten I knew the words to every song on that album! True story through and through, yall. I ain't lying. My love for this man is damn near unexplainable. I remember asking my parents if they would take me to Jacksonville, Florida to see Michael on his Victory tour. They said, 'yes,' and I thought I was going to lose my mind because I was going to see Michael up close and personal! So imagine my surprise when they later told me something came up and I wouldn't be able to go. Months later that something happened to be the birth of my funky little sister. I went from being a spoiled only child who was on her way to see Michael Jackson to being a bitter big sister to a rugrat born at the most inopportune time in MY life! But still my love for Michael never wavered. Let's see: When other little girls slept with their Care Bears stuffed animals and Cabbage Patch Kid dolls, I slept with my Off the Wall and Thriller album covers. Yes, it was that serious. Oh, and I cried when his hair caught fire in that Pepsi commercial. I used 10 stamps on a fan letter that I wrote to him because I wanted to make sure that letter had enough postage to make it to its destination. I kept my bedroom walls covered with Michael Jackson posters (Word Up, Right On! and Blackbeat magazines were a must in my household). I learned the dance routine to his Bad video and would dance to it every morning before going to school (he was so sexy to me in that video)! I HATED every woman he was associated with especially Ola Ray, Brooke Shields, Stephanie Mills, Tatum O'Neal, Siedah Garrett (she co-wrote Michael's song Man in the Mirror and also did a duet with him on I Just Can't Stop Loving You), the skinny knock-kneed chick in his The Way You Make Me Feel video...hell, I was even jealous of the figure laying in the bed in his Billie Jean video!

You know we joke around about the way Michael looked or the weird things he's done (i.e. buying the hyperbaric chamber, his fascination with Bubbles, buying the Elephant Man's bones, etc.) but that man has left an indelible mark on the music industry ever since he became a part of it. What he has accomplished in music, no one else never, ever will. No one. The man is the epitome of a musical icon. We can never deny him that. He sacrificed his childhood to entertain us. For that I'll be forever grateful. I just pray his soul's at rest and that he knew how much he was loved and revered as an artist and a humanitarian. Despite all the criticism and negativity that surrounded his life in the past several years, he was still and will always remain the first and last of his kind. God broke the mold when he made Michael. These singers today should forever give this man his just due...even in death. His videos were original and phenomenal and actually made sense. He sent messages without using obscene language (i.e. the N word, calling females b!tches and hoes, bragging about how many women he bedded) and he performed his ass off all while doing it. Yeah, I'll be the first to admit that I would often jump back if I suddenly came upon a photo of him during his post-Bad era. But once I saw him perform, his facial features became secondary. He entertained us for decades, hell for generations. My mama would tell me how she and her girlfriends use to crush on him back in the day. A generation later and me and my friends were doing the same thing!

Needless to say, his legacy is eternal and cannot/will not be erased by even the most horrible of charges and allegations ever made against him. His music and performances are historic and I will cherish his memory until my dying day. My heart goes out to Michael's family, especially the three children he leaves in his memory. I also learned that another reason Michael wanted to do this comeback tour (besides for financial reasons) is because he wanted to show his kids why he is the King of Pop, respectively. Also, a BET spokesperson told Tom Joyner that this Sunday's BET Awards (at 8:00 pm) will be dedicated entirely to Michael. Special tributes will also be made to the fallen legend. Because of this, the awards ceremony will air longer than the normal 3 hours as BET will allow celebrities in attendance ample time to pay homage to the singer. I gotta thank my big sister Nikki for emailing me that info. Thank you, gurl! I predict this year's awards show will be the most watched ever.

Now excuse me while I go pop in his greatest hits cd.

R.I.P. Michael. You were truly loved and adored by many. May you find the peace you were searching for here on Earth in the heavens above.

Actress LisaRaye McCoy Misick was spotted shopping at Longmi Lashes while carrying a very expensive Prada handbag. Not too long ago she was screaming and testifying under oath about how broke she is...so broke she didn't even have a life insurance policy that would provide for her daughter. She needs to be somewhere trying to land an acting gig so that she can buy herself some life insurance for the first time in her life. I still want to know how an actress who once had a steady three-year gig on a television show, a handful of endorsements and who was married to island royalty, still could not take the time to make sure that if anything was to happen to her, her child would be taken care of financially. But yet here she is walking around with a purse that cost her at least four figures. Go figure!

But on the other hand--because my nice nature won't allow me to be totally bitchy when it comes to LisaRaye--there's absolutely nothing wrong with with treating yourself to something nice every once and a while. Do yo thang, gurl!

Beautiful actress Taraji Henson is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Monarch magazine. In her cover story, the actress talked about the highs and lows of being an Academy-nominated actress as well as the joys of being a hands-on mother to her 14-year-old teenage son, Marcell.

TARAJI ON ACTING: “Acting is so much more than just looking cute in front of a camera. I don’t judge characters because they are based on real people and there is a reason why that person is the way they are. Honestly, if you think about it, no woman wakes up and aspires to be a whore. But, because of life’s circumstances they have ended up that way. Regardless, it is my job as an actress to portray that role, not judge it. I know several actresses who have been locked into a certain type of role because directors think that is all they can do. I think that is BS … I know I can do anything. Acting is my craft; it’s what I studied and what I do. Just give me a dialect coach like they give to other actresses and I will have you believing anything.”

TARAJI ON BEING THE COOLEST MOTHER ON EARTH: “I am very hands-on and I want to make sure my son has the energy he needs to go off to school and have a productive day. I don’t have an assistant. It’s all me. Taking care of my son is my number-one priority. It seems like my baby has grown up so quickly and I just want to cherish the time I have left with him before he goes away to college. I am already saddened by the fact that I only have a few years left....Honestly, I have done a hell of a job as a single mother and Marcell is an incredible kid. I believe children are closest to God's heart, like little angels, and because I take good care of him that's why I'm so blessed.”

Also, Taraji's home, a Spanish style bungalow, was featured in a previous issue of Monarch magazine last fall. I wanted to post these back then, but I got a little bit lazy! Anyhoo, Taraji says most of her time is spent at home rather than out and about. Taraji takes pride in her home and prefers to relax there. “I love my house and I have done a lot of work to make it my own. It is so serene. My home is my sanctuary and I try to spend as much time as possible there.”

TIA MOWRY SOUNDS OFF ON THE FATE OF 'THE GAME.'

I had to found out about The Game's chances of possibly becoming an hour-long dramedy series on the CW through an angry Twitter message from Tia 'Med School/Girl Melanie' Mowry Hardrict. I have to give a shout-out to my girl GeorgiaToTexas on LSA for posting the screencap and allowing me to use it. Thank you, gurl! Back to Tia. The actress expressed her frustration, and rightfully so, to all of her Twitter followers after reading some bs story on that MTO site. For the record, I didn't bother to find out, mainly because I despise that site very much, what bogus story they had posted about her, but if I had to guess, it probably had something to do with them alleging she's pregnant. Which isn't true. Besides, I was more concerned with the fate of my and my baby sister's favorite television show. So I'm sure she'll be glad to read this as well. She better read it. That lil heffa had me on the phone while I was writing this story and she of all people know I can't talk and type at the same time! Hell, I can barely walk and chew gum at the same time!

As you can see, Tia reveals that not only is Mara Brock-Akil (the creator of the show) pitching the idea to the CW brass to transform the show into an hour-long series, there's also talk of BET picking the show up for its fourth season. Hey, I'm game (no pun intended) for whatever will keep the show on the air. The CW plan on eliminating their comedy division and the only way for The Game to remain on the network is by switching it from a comedy into a drama. I later found out, through The Hollywood Reporter, that switching genres is extremely rare. However, for The Game, such a transformation would actually make sense creatively since the show mixes comedy with drama more than a traditional sitcom.

Jesus be a fast forward button and make Easter Sunday get here as soon as possible. That was my prayer before today. If you watch TVOne as much as me, then like me, you too are getting sick and tired of the 2009 17th Annual Trumpet Awards promo the network insist on airing every half hour. The show was taped back in January! They've been running it for damn near a whole month and I've been dying to see this En Vogue reunion. Because yall know their performance with Alicia Keys on the BET Awards does not count. But I digress. Anywho, to say my patience has run out with TVOne would be an understatement. I got tired of waiting and went and looked to see if I could find footage from the awards ceremony my damn self...and I did. Below you'll find the video clip of En Vogue's reunion performance at the awards ceremony which airs on Easter Sunday at 8 pm. Damn, I just promoted it again, huh?

Hope you all enjoy the video as much as I did. I thought it would have been a bit better, but hey, it's better than nothing.

See, this is why I have always had the utmost respect for TLC and EnVogue. To me they embody what a girl group is really all about: no one member is bigger than the other and each girl has their own style and personality. Yeah, they bitch and bicker, but what girl groups don't? In groups like TLC and En Vogue, each member played a big part in their respective group. It wasn't/isn't about just one member. And yall know who I'm talking about, but, again I'll digress because if I don't....

T-BOZ & CHILLI OF TLC PERFORM AT SPRINGROOVE IN JAPAN.

Speaking of reuniting girl groups, last weekend, T-Boz and Chilli of TLC reunited once again to perform at Japan's Springroove concert to a packed house and from the videos and pictures (which you can check out below) I've seen, they brought the house down! But then again, I've been a diehard fan of TLC since they hit the scene so of course I would say something like that. Their performance at Springroove marked the third time that they've performed together since Lisa's death seven years ago (April 2002). I LOVE watching these girls perform live and to know they still got it like they had it when they first hit the scene makes it even more entertaining to watch. And to see them include Lisa (as if they wouldn't have) damn near made me start crying! I got chill bumps and shivers went up my spine while I watched a couple of those clips. You can tell Lisa was there with them in spirit as they performed. They were beyond unbelievable. LOVED IT! Lisa didn't lie when she said energy never dies, it just transforms. Those girls still got it. Folks complain, bitch and moan about TLC and what they're not doing, but as soon as they put on a performance such as the one in Japan, it's a whole different story! They can't get enough of them. T&C know how to shut folks the hell up when they shut the stage down.

Anywho, in a recent interview, T-Boz talked about their performance with Alicia Keys at last year's BET Awards. T-Boz said she didn't really consider it as a real performance and the only reason she and Chilli decided to do it was because of their love for Alicia:

"I love Alicia and that was the only reason I did it. We've never said yes to perform with anybody, ever. She is one of those people that you respect and feel honored to be asked and that's why we said yes. I don't count BET Awards as a real TLC performance. That was just a mess altogether. That was a terrible day for me. It wasn't a regular TLC show anyway. At real TLC show, we run things and are energetic and dance. That was just a hot mess. I'm very excited to do what we do and I'll be back in my element. That sure wasn't my element anyway. I'm happy to be back and we'll be doing it the way that we do it."

SOLE RESPONDS TO GINUWINE/LISARAYE RUMORS: 'I AM NOT PACKING UP NO 4 KIDS!'

A couple of weeks ago, Ginuwine and his handlers decided drum up some publicity for his new single 'Last Chance' by planting a story alleging that he and LisaRaye (who plays the lead female role in the video) were seen at Mr. Chows restaurant in Hollywood playing kissy-face and footsies with each other. When the story hit the Internet, it hit hard. However, In Ginuwine's quest for some media attention, he unknowingly (yeah right) threw his wife of 5 years under the bus. Punk move SlickSlide Hairline. In an effort to clean up the mess he made, he did an interview with Sister 2 Sister claiming the story wasn't true and that folks were just trying to start something. But he also revealed the fact that Sole was not happy at all with the news and that the couple had it out something proper-like because he didn't tell her that LisaRaye was going to be in his video. See, he and LisaRaye have a bit of a history together. They both toured in that 'Mama, My Hands Are Too Short to Reach God Which Means I Can't Cook Your Fried Chicken Tonight' type of stage play....which was mysteriously cut short due to some behind the scenes drama. Mmm-hmm. Anyhoo, my woman's intuition is telling me that not only is Sole nothing to be f*ck*d with, it's also telling me that if she hadn't found God, that would be LisaRaye's ass. She gon get enough of being all up in the face of these married men.

Long story short. Rumors began to circulate claiming Sole packed up their kids (it's a lot of them) and left his ass over this drama. This isn't true. And to clear the air, Sole decided to respond to the rumors:

"I was like, that's funny. First of all, I'm not packing up no four kids and disrupting their lives in the middle of the school year, I don't care what he did. That's just foolish. But they were reporting this like they had seen me out here packing up my bags. I believed it wasn't true from the beginning. My being upset about it was just the fact that it caught me so off guard. I don't know if he was thinking, 'It's not true so I'm not even going to say nothing, because she probably won't even hear it.' Because I'm so removed from the industry that it would just blow over and not be a big deal. But when it became this big deal and they were on the radio and people were calling us saying, 'I heard this, and I heard that.' So then I was kinda upset. And I was just really upset at the lack of communication between he and I and because he's been home for so long and. It really did catch me off guard. I wasn't really prepared for all the phone calls and the stuff on the Internet. I was like, 'Oh, my God! This is crazy!' Both of us just really couldn't believe how it became such a big deal. But yeah, it was a debate and we got into it about how to handle things and how to move forward, you know, with him going back into the industry.....

....So yeah, I believed the story wasn't true in the beginning. Not because I'm this naive wife living in a bubble and I feel like my husband is not capable of cheating. Or he's not capable of making a mistake or doing something wrong as is any husband us capable of putting themselves in the wrong position. So not because I'm a fool did I not believe it; but I do know him well enough after this amount of time to know if there's some truth to something or if it's not. And the whole story and everything people were saying came across as such a publicity stunt. So my being upset about it was just the fact that it caught me so off guard and that the media and these 'quote, unquote' sources can be so reckless in what they put out there. They don't think that there may be children that may see that or read that and may be hurt by that. Or they think that because we are both in the process of changing our lives so much and I'm such a different person now that they may not think that that may not affect or hurt us or people that look up to us. They just throw stuff out there. Blatant lies and claim it to be true.

The whole industry is the devil's playground."

For the record, the couple is fine. They've given their kids a heads up to ignore rumors they may hear about Dad. They also developed a game plan for handling issues like this in the future.

I swear she looks like she's about to drop that load any day now and I don't think she's even 6 months pregnant which means she'll be bigger than ever once she hits nine months. Bless her heart. Around this time last year, she was asking 'Santa' to bless her with a baby for Christmas. Looks like she got her wish.

For those of you who don't know, Meagan is currently in the studio working on her first album with The-Dream and other producers. She told rapup.com, “I’ve been recording some stuff here and there—just experimenting, really focusing on getting up to par vocally. I’m going for a more pop sound, actually. I did some stuff with some lesser-known producers.” She isn't signed, but claims she's negotiating with a couple of record labels. Mmm-hmm. Check out a snippet from her song 'So Good' below.

In the meantime, the 27-year-old actress-turned-soon-to-singer (yeah, that part still surprises me too!) spotted dancing, throwing up deuces, unknowingly showing off her weave tracks and serving it up on the ones and twos with her publicist in Miami recently. Peep the photos below.

Tisha Campbell-Martin, one of my favorite actresses of all time was seen showing off her baby bump in Beverly Hills yesterday. A couple of months ago, Tisha's longtime BFF and fellow actress Tichina Arnold spilled the beans on Tisha's pregnancy, saying that Tisha and her hubby Duane are hoping for a baby girl! "She just found out and is so excited... She hopes to have a girl this time, and has said she would love to name her Derek. She has been wanting a girl for almost six years." The couple has one son, Xen, who is about 7-years old....In more Tisha Campbell-Martin news, her tv show, Rita Rocks has been picked up a second season on Lifetime Television Network. The series, which also stars Nicole Sullivan, is about a wife and mother who forms a garage rock band. My main question is how are they going to tie in Tisha's pregnancy especially since she is definitely showing. I would also like to know how will the writers tie in Nicole's pregnancy as well. She and her husband are also expecting their second child this summer!

Tisha and Duane are one of my favorite celebrity couples and I truly wish them the very best during this pregnancy.

Actors and models Lance Gross and Eva Marcille were recently featured in the new issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine. The lovey dovey couple (they are so beautiful together!), who became engaged last Christmas and plan to tie the knot in the summer of 2010, revealed some interesting details about their relationship. And if this couple is one thing, that one thing would have to be 'amazing.' Eva used the hell out of that word during their interview! Bless her heart, she's so in love. Anywho, check out the excerpts below.

LANCE & EVA ON HOW THEY MET AND HOW OPEN THEY ARE WITH EACH OTHER.

Eva: The first time we met was actually at an audition for 'The Express.' I didn't get his phone number. I got his name, but that was it. It was just like, wow, he's gorgeous. Now let me go audition. And then nine months later, I saw him again on 'House of Payne.' I walked in for my first day of work there doing a recurring role and we were going to the table read. And I walked in and he was sitting at the table. I was like, oh my god. The first time I saw him, I was absolutely attracted to him. The boy is gorgeous. I'd be a liar if I said that I didn't notice how amazing he was. I had been out of a relationship for over a year when Lance I began to date. And he was out of a relationship for three or four months, so we both had a clean slate. I fall in love with Lance all over every single day. I got Lance forever. I will love that boy forever and always. So if we got married today, if we get married next week, if we get married two years from now, it doesn't change my love for him.

Lance: I just fell really hard for Eva. I never loved anyone like that. My thing is, honesty is the best way to go. It saves you all the drama. I was totally open. When I fell, I fell and I let her know.

LANCE & EVA ON LOVING EACH OTHERS FLAWS.

Eva: For me, Lance, even in his flaws is absolutely perfect. So there's nothing I don't like about him. I love him for what he is and what he isn't. I love his flaws. I love everything about him.

Lance: I fell in love with who she is. So I wouldn't try to change anything about her because I love it all. That's my answer to that.

LANCE & EVA ON THE INTIMATE & INDEPENDENT PARTS OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP:
Eva: We were established as boyfriend/girlfriend, but it was only one month into the relationship. I remember saying to him, 'Baby, I know this might sound very premature, but I'm in love with you.' I was in love with him from the first time I saw him. He said, 'I'm in love with you too.'

Lance: I guess we were both waiting on each other to say it.

Eva: Before we were intimate--there were opportunities for us to be intimate before then, but I didn't want that in our relationship. Don't get me wrong, I was definitely attracted to him, but I didn't want that to be what our relationship is about and I don't think he wanted that. First of all, I'm not the kind of girl, because I'm attracted to you, that we going to hit the sheets. I always wanted to be the girl that, when I got married, my husband is going to be confident the town hasn't had it. When I'm in a room with my man amongst all these entertainers and small players, for him to know and for them to know this is Lance's girl, not she was everybody else's girl and now Lance got her. I don't want to be that girl....[independently] I got my first job at 14 and I've never been unemployed since. So now that I have Lance, it just makes it so amazing. I was never the girl who wanted the guy to have all of this so that I could in turn have all of what he has. I wanted to make my own way. I met Lance, and he had his own, and I have my own, but he's still my man, he's still my provider. to have that sense of security is amazing.

LANCE ON IF HE GETS HIT ON BY OTHER WOMEN & HOW HE REACTS TO IT:
Lance: Yeah, I get it a little bit. It's easy. I have someone I truly care for and love, so I don't need anything else. It's an easy decision for me. I don't even need to look that way. Sometimes I'll just point to Eva. That shuts them down right there.

LANCE & EVA ON THE PROPOSAL.
Lance: We were out in Big Bear with both of our families. We went last year and we decided to invite our families this year. I told her I wanted her to open up one gift on Christmas Eve. I had this pink box with a pillow inside; she opened it and the pillow had a note attached saying, 'I hope you like it. Give this to the man you love.' So she gave it to me, and I put it on the ground and then I did my whole little spiel and got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. (blogger's note: Gross popped the question with a 3.36-carat 1895 Pave Cartier ring.) She asked, 'Baby, is this real? Baby, are you playing with me?'

Eva: I was in a state of shock. I had no idea it was going to happen. Then when it was happening, it felt like a dream. I could not even sleep because I was afraid that I might wake up from the most beautiful dream ever. It didn't even feel real. I know the answer is supposed to be yes, but I couldn't get anything out of my mouth. My eyes were big as saucers, my chin was on the floor and I began to cry and fell down. 'Yes, forever and always.'...I wasn't pressuring him. He knew I didn't want to be with anyone else and that I wanted to be with him forever. I knew that eventually the question would get popped. I just had no clue when it was going to be, so it caught me by surprise.

INSIDE WENDY RAQUEL ROBINSON'S NEW HOME.

In 2000, Wendy met her husband Marco Perkins after hosting an NBA playoff party at her home. Wendy says she didn't notice him right away, but during the party she observed him closely. "He not only had an opinion, but a swagger. I felt like we could dine at the White House or hang in the 'hood." The couple tied the knot aboard a yacht in front of close family members and friends in 2003. However, the couple had no idea just how much their first year of marriage would be tested. After an evening out, they returned home to find an electrical fire had struck three homes on their block, including theirs, leaving them homeless and with the only clothes on their backs--literally. Sadly, the blaze also claimed Wendy's dog, Ginger. Looking back now, she says, 'I wondered sometimes how we'd get through it. But God has blessed us. During that time, I saw what my husband was made of." Family also helped weather the storm. "My mother told us to come home," she shares. "I had to wear one of my sister's clothes and shoes." Returning to her vacant childhood house was tough. So was losing treasured family heirlooms. "I understand how the victims of Hurricane Katrina felt. Dealing with insurance companies was crazy. But going through it strengthened out marriage. Everything was stripped away and all we had was each other....I feel like I've been reborn. God has gotten us through a lot. There's a gratitude journal scrolling through my head right now, and it's full of so many blessings."

Fast forward a couple of years and you'll find the couple living happily in their brand new, custom-built-from-the-ground-up two-story home. They have also added two new dogs to the family. Of her new found blessings, Wendy says, 'God gives you double for your trouble.' Aside from continuing her role as the 'hottest mama' on television as 'Tasha Mack' on The CW's The Game, Wendy spends her off time by running the Amazing Grace Conservatory (a theatre arts school she founded in 1995); being a loving wife; and playing auntie to her nieces and nephews.

I watched Notorious this weekend in the comfort of my own home--for free--and I still feel like I paid too much! It was pure garbage. Jamal, the dude who played Biggie, smiled and grinned just a little bit too much for me. I remember Biggie always having a mean-ass looking unit on his face like this or this or this. I also couldn't get over how Jamal placed an 'f' sound on every word that ended in -th (Faithf, truthf, deathf, mouthf). Dude who played Tupac was unbelievable, it wasn't even funny. The same can be said for the little Losing Isaiah young'un who played Lil Cease and I'm not even going to get on how I sat and waited for Angela Bassett to use Voletta Wallace's accent...but to no avail Loved Derek Luke's portrayal of Puffy. Dude had Diddy's dance and swagger down pat! LOL! Faith's doppelganger was a good choice, as was Biggie's 12-year-old son C.J. who brought justice to the role of his father as an adolescent.

Now to Naturi and the purpose of this post. Personally, I think she did an okay job as Lil Kim. I still laugh at the clip of her in the studio recording Big Momma Thang! (you got it goin' on, whut, whut). Anyhoo, imagine my surprise when I found out Lil Kim wanted the film's director to cast Christina Milian to play her in the film! What the hell was she thinking?!! And how in the hell did she think Ms. Wallace and the film's directors would let that happen? For those of you who don't know, Lil Kim was paid $5,000 to allow them to use her likeness in the movie (just like everyone else). When she showed up at the film director's office to have a meeting (about the use of her likeness), she spazzed out when she was told Naturi would be playing her. Yeah, I know some of us know this already. But what I didn't know is what she actually said to the director about Naturi during her bitch fit, which was 'She's TOO BLACK!' Cease and other sources on the set said Kim wanted Christina Milian to portray her in the movie. He also said, 'Kim don't look like herself! Look at her! I told Naturi she was doing a great job and to not let that shit affect her.'

With the extensive amount of plastic surgery she had done to look like a totally different person, I knew deep down inside there had to be an iota of self-hate within her, but this?!! Now I really and truly believe she is half-past delusional. Real talk. Could any of you see Christina Milian playing Lil Kim?

'I heard about the rumors and I'm aware of it. I feel like at the end of the day I was really happy that I had the support of the director, I had the support of the cast, and I knew that I was going to capture this role 'cause I had put my heart in it. I hope that she loves it when she sees it and I'm hoping the fans love it when they see it. I don't think it's a matter of complexion. I think people need to realize it's about playing a character and bringing out their essence...

Going into a movie like this is always pressure because they have a fan base that is looking at them now. There will always be people comparing and looking for the exact replica of who they know. So it's a challenge and it's definitely intimidating. For me this is my first big debut as an actress in a film. It's nervewracking and it's intimidating to an extent, but at the end of the day I actually try to use the challenge and those feelings as motivation. Initially it hurts a little bit but you take that and you use it as power.'

TAMEKA FOSTER JOINS 'REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA' CAST?

Word around the web is that Usher's wife, Tameka Foster, is in 'the last bit of talks' of joining the cast of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta for its second season. If this news is true, Tameka will replace last season's most true-to-life housewife on RHOA, Deshawn Snow, who has allegedly been given the boot from the show because of the viewers' disinterest in her life as an NBA wife. But I think we all know that with Deshawn's 'guaranteed' NBA money, she'll be just fine. And I can openly admit that if Tameka does join the cast, yes, I will make sure my DirectTV DVR is set and ready to record because I'd love to hear the pure madness that I am sure she will spew from her mouth! But really though, can you all see (or be able to stomach watching) Tameka every week basically doing what Deshawn did during her stay on the show? Watching her raise her four sons (Tameka's oldest son is a grown man) while Usher is out on the road doing whatever it is that he does? But wait a minute, 95% of the time, Tameka is up under her hubby whenever he's out on the road. So, I guess the question should be, 'could we be able to stomach whoever it is that raises Tameka's kids when--her head is so far up Usher's ass, if he turned the corner, he'd break her neck--whenever he's out on the road? How can she be a cast member of this show if she's never home in Atlanta?

Therefore and thus and such, I'll believe this story when the upper-ups from Bravo confirm it. Until then, like my cousin Nakesha says, 'I'm finished 'bout it.' Besides, there were whispers and whatnot of her joining the cast for its first season and because Usher has rehired his mom, Jonetta, as his manager, I highly doubt she'd suggest that Tameka put their family business out there like that for everyone to see...especially since some of you *smile* *snicker* have been dogging ol girl for the past couple of years. Yall know Jonetta don't play! LOL! Also, Usher is working on releasing another album this year. Having his wife look and sound like a damn fool on national television is publicity he does not need. He found out how that type of negative press affected his mega-flop of an album last year. Am I right? Celebrity couples + Reality shows=Divorce! Examples: Nick and Jessica, Hulk Hogan and Lisa, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler, Carmen and David, Bobby and Whitney! LOL!

As for the other ladies of RHOA: Nene Leakes, her BFF-turned-frienemy Kim 'can't sing, or spell, or purchase a better looking weave/half-wig' Zolciak and Lisa Wu Hartell are all set to return for the second season. And Sheree? Well, she dropped her divorce appeal against her ex-husband and former NFL player, Bob Whitfield and ol girl is thisclose to being broke and homeless. According to recent reports, Bob is also broke. All I have to say is, 'Sheree, good luck to you and to your Shit by Sheree...(*sigh* LSA can be such a negative influence on me sometimes), what I meant to say was, She by Sheree clothing line. Cause, girl, you gon need all the luck you can get. And I know, because I'm broke my damn self! LOL!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta will begin taping episodes for its second season in February.
