Sean Stewart to Star in Reality TV Series

Sean Stewart, son of famous 70’s rocker Rod Stewart, is heading back to reality TV. This time the cameras will follow him as he attempts to start his own fashion line.

Sean Stewart has been known as a wild-child and a hellraiser, having several brushes with the law. His first appearance on reality TV was in 2007 when he was in Sons of Hollywood and last year he joined Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab to try and kick his addiction to painkillers.

The New York Post reported that the aspiring singer and model, has signed a new TV deal following his fashion background as he moves from Los Angeles to New York to pursue his new career. MTV or VH1 networks are reportedly going to air the series.

A spokesperson for Sean Stewart has declined to comment.

Heroin influences 'Real Housewives' star Lauri Waring Peterson's exit

Lauri Waring Peterson officially said good-bye to "The Real Housewives of Orange County" Tuesday night - and she's already questioning her decision.

But Peterson says she had good reason to leave the show that made her a reality TV star: Her son, Josh Waring, is battling a heroin addiction.

"You don't even know," the blonde mother of six says of agonizing over the "very, very, very difficult" choice to leave the show. "I've already thought, 'What did I do?' "

Peterson became an overnight sensation on the hit Bravo series in 2006, alongside four other women from the same swanky southern California neighborhood.

Her life as a single-mom-turned-happily-married-woman played out in front of the cameras - including her fairy tale wedding to real estate developer George Peterson. But there were some things, like her son's arrest, that she didn't want on TV.

Waring, 20, was arrested in June for possession of heroin and ecstasy with intent to sell - the same day filming began for the fourth season of "Housewives."

He's currently cooling his heels in jail, but is expected to be released in a few weeks.

"I felt that I really needed privacy," Peterson says. "I really wasn't allowing the production company to film my son's situation for entertainment value. ... I really feel that that's Josh's story."

Peterson tried to continue filming – but quickly realized her heart wasn't in it.

She's since seen the footage from her final episode several times, noting that it doesn’t get easier to rehash the events of her life immediately following her son's arrest.

"I watched it three times and each time I was hysterically sobbing, crying my heart out," Peterson says, tearing up again.

"The intense pain that I feel for [Josh] and the trepidation ... that's gut-wrenching for me to watch."

Peterson now plans to "step back and support" her son, but she still finds time for her fellow "Housewives,” getting together with her pals “when we can.”

Friendships aside, she doesn't plan to look back.

"I want to do more," Peterson says, listing endorsement deals and a memoir as opportunities she'd like to explore.

"There's been so much more to my reality than what the cameras have captured," she says, explaining her interest in a book deal.

But although Peterson wants to branch out, she's not ruling out a "Housewives" comeback.

Says Peterson: "It's given me great opportunities. I mean, we were on 'Oprah.' "

The suit alledges the twosome were in "teaming up" with a group that had created and pitched "The Coreys" - a reality tv show concept yet went behind their back and moved forward with the show. Teen Choice Awards nominations came out Tuesday, June 17, and pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek, the pride of Kettering, has been nominated for two.

His MTV show, "Rob & Big," is up for best celebrity reality show against "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," "Life of Ryan," "Run's House" and "The Hills."

ExtrasDyrdek and co-star Christopher "Big" Boykin are also up for male reality/variety star. Other nominees are Brody Jenner ("The Hills"), David Cook ("American Idol"), Ryan Scheckler ("Life of Ryan") and The Jabbawockeez ("America's Best Dance Crew").

We have learned the production company developing the show is 25/7 Productions. 25/7 Productions have also brought you "A Model Life" and more notably "The Biggest Loser". Jackson will shoot episodes over the next few months before embarking on her national tour, which kicks off on September 10th.

According to an unidentified source, Janet Jackson will get her own MTV reality show. The source states casting has already begun and the show will focus on aspiring singers and dancers through the guidance of Janet.

Show execs say, "It's really about finding who's the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher. And we'll find it from a pool of people who you wouldn't typically find it from. We'll go to YMCAs, church groups, local community centers and try to cast the show."

MTV Cast Member Joey Kovar

As RealityRox fans and readers know, we have been in business since 2001. We have and still do provide more celebrity talent in the Reality World - than any other - hands down. That being said, we recently received a request for Joey Kovar (MTV Real World - Hollywood). For those of you that are not fans of the trainwreck that is this season, Joey is the beefy guy with the way too spiky hair. If you haven't watched them all, you may have missed him as he left to check himself into drug/alcohol rehab as he lost his sobriety during the taping of the show.

RealityRox must admit, the genuineness of his concern for himself - and his ability to walk away from the show and get his life straight - was a BIG step for this young cast member - remember RealityRox has seen a LOT of the spiral in the past with others. Joey is now doing NIGHTCLUB and BAR appearances, though in a recent interview he stated he was still sober and had not had a drink - from experience - we here at RealityRox think the environment is NOT A GOOD IDEA. Joey, if you see this - get away from it. Why? Why? Why be so stupid.

MTV Greenlights "BROMANCE" with Brody Jenner

I suppose it is only fitting since Paris will search for her new best friend. MTV has picked up "BROMANCE" - a show starring Brody Jenner. "Bromance" will mark Jenner's fourth appearance on a reality series.He starred in FOX's ill-fated "Princes of Malibu" a few years back and has appeared in numerous episodes of "The Hills." He also popped up on the Seacrest-produced E! series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," which stars his stepsister Kim Kardashian.

Part goof on shows like "The Bachelor" and part capitalization on pop-cultural touchstones "Superbad" and "Entourage," the show will bring guys from around the country to L.A., where they will hang with Jenner and take part in challenges ranging from skydiving into Las Vegas to serving as Jenner's wingman. The show is produced by Ryan Seacrest.

Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites - Parvati Wins

It has been YEARS since this Roxstar has watched Survivor. Season 1 was the last to be exact - but while channel surfing for something that featured cast members that I didn't already know, I came across this seasons installment of Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites. I suppose it was about half way through the season. A time when mostly girls were left - and merely 3 men. That particular episode the girls banded together and voted off another male. I was hooked.

I watched every last episode - mainly thanks to TIVO. Mere words cannot describe the joy I found in watching these ladies devour the men - one by one - with only one win and an immunity idol breaking up the plan. Then, right back on track. The season will most likely go down as the season the ladies took control. The season the men were finally proven, well - stupid. OVER and OVER and OVER.

Personally, I thought Amanda should have won it - but I liked all of the final 3 and rooted them each on for their ability to manipulate and control the men into believing they just wouldn't do that to them. Right. Congratulations to each of you on a game well played - and a season not easy to forget. I suppose I will turn in next season, too - only for some reason, I don't think it will be easy to top this one.

It isn't often this Roxstar laughs out loud, rolls her eyes, or screams at the TV. It's been a long, long time.

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Paula Abdul must be hearing double.

Paula Abdul (center) was flustered by a new judging presentation system on "American Idol."

On a night when "American Idol" switched up the judges' format by making them hold their appraisals until every contestant had a turn, Abdul offered feedback Tuesday for two songs by Jason Castro -- except that he'd only sung one.

So after each of the final five contestants sang one Neil Diamond song, Jackson zipped through his appraisals, offering a few terse words for each before kicking it to a visibly flustered Abdul.

"Oh gosh, we've never had to write these things down ... fast enough," she began, shuffling through her notecards. "Jason, first song, I loved hearing your lower register, which we never really hear, um ... ."

And that's where it started going off the rails.

"The second song, I felt like your usual charm wasn't -- it was missing for me. It kind of left me a little empty."

Indeed.

All six people on stage, including Seacrest, stared blankly (except Syesha Mercado, who wore the furrowed brow of mystification).

"The two songs," she continued, "made me feel like you're not fighting hard enough to get into the top four."

After a smattering of nervous crowd laughter, Jackson finally broke the tension.

"That was just on the first song," he said sheepishly, pointing up to Castro. "Just on the first one."

Simon Cowell closed his eyes and shook his head, and began to guffaw as Abdul's confusion mounted.

"Oh my god, I thought you -- I thought you sang twice!" she said.

She explained that she got confused by looking ahead at the notes for David Cook.

At that point Seacrest, who makes his money by smoothing over situations just such as these, pointed to Abdul, saying: "You're seeing the future, baby!" before cutting her off and throwing to Cowell.

Even Cowell gathered himself to help patch up the moment, patting Abdul on the shoulder and asking, as if to speed things along, "Paula, who was your favorite?"

Her reply: Cook (the same contestant whose performance she supposedly noted as having left her "empty").

Pressed for time, Cowell then put an end to the awkward-fest by bursting into his own rapid-fire valuation: "Jason, forgettable; David Cook, just above average; Brooke (White) a nightmare; David Archuleta, I thought it was amateurish; and Syesha, I thought it was old-fashioned.

"So guys ... I want to see the performance of a lifetime coming up," he said, as if to ensure absolute clarity, "the second time around."

Abdul told "Entertainment Tonight" after the show that she was thrown for a loop when producers apprised the judges of the change "in the dark" at the last minute.

"This was officially the strangest show we've ever done," Cowell said at the conclusion of the telecast, "but I like that. It's kind of a bit chaotic tonight."

The end of season three of MTV reality show Rob and Big left loyal fans asking a lot of questions.

What happened to the mini-horse?

Who was going to keep Meaty?

Will Rob and Big ever be back together on screen?

Chris ''Big Black'' Boykin, Saturday at Club BucaI got the chance to get all the answers to those questions of Big Black Saturday night, during his stop at Club Buca on a promotional tour.
Big Black is on a Southern tour to, in his words, ''give back to his core fans.''

After St. Louis, Big headed to Atlanta, New Orleans, among other southern cities, where his fans met him in person. But what about the rest of us who didn't meet reality show cast member?

Big will be back on MTV this summer with reruns of the third season of Rob and Big, the MTV show featuring Big Black and his friend, pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek.

So will there be a fourth season of Rob and Big? That would be a no. According to Big, Dyrdek has not been able to skate as much since hitting a reality show gold mine in 2005 with their MTV show. Dyrdek is pretty much burnt out with reality television. He will be returning to the sport that first made him popular.

And will Big be back on television? Yes, Big will be returning to reality TV-land in November with a show featuring his friends. It will be about his life and career, as he builds on his ''BB'' clothing line. No word on if Rob will be making a guest appearance. It will not be on MTV though, ''they are too cheap,'' so look for him to be on Showtime, G4 or Spike TV.

So much for the human cast of the show, so what about mini-horse and meaty?

Will mini-horse will be returning to a stable where he can be with other horses?

The boys gave him to the lady who has been training the animal since Season Two. And Meaty will be staying with Rob, but that's OK, Big gets to keep Meaty's sister.

Yes, Meaty had a sister that was never featured on the show but maybe we will get to know her when Big Black returns to TV in November.

RealityRox watched the first episode of the new Real World 20 - Hollywood Season on Wednesday Night. Let me see if I can sum all this up easily...Arrive. Introduce. Party. Get Naked. Argue. Credits.
Sound fimiliar? Couldn't the show have a bit of focus on people that were already reaching and striving for ambitious goals and follow them on their journey - even if it is only one season?? MTV states that they were trying to cast people that aren't trying to get fame from appearing on the show. Is that even possible anymore? If this was the case, why would MTV focus the season on bringing them out and giving them the "group job" that was pre-arranged by production? Simply, if you are already a clothing designer you have to SHOW what you are capable of making. Project Runway TESTS and CHALLENGES those on the show to PROVE they are capable should they "win" the opportunities they applied for. Maybe it's time to move from the same ole same ole MTV. We aren't sure if we can sit through another season that is the same as the last several. It has been some time since we were able to sit through an entire season in the first place! Go Veterans!

What's the best way to celebrate back-to-back #1 Billboard album debuts? How about a national tour? That's what Danity Kane and Day26 will do starting May 24 when they kick off "Making the Band 4 — The Tour," which will hit major cities from coast to coast, beginning with a gig in Orlando, Florida.

In addition to the sometimes romantically entangled "Making the Band" boy and girl groups, the tour will also feature breakout "Band" star Donnie Klang, who Diddy diverted from Day26 in order to offer him a solo contract with Bad Boy. His debut, Come into My World, is due out in June, and the first single, "Take You There," is out now.

When Kane's second album, Welcome to the Dollhouse, recently debuted atop the Billboard 200, they became the first female group in Billboard history to have their debut and sophomore album enter the main chart at #1. Day26's self-titled debut hit the top spot one week after Kane, setting a record for the biggest-selling debut from a male R&B group in the SoundScan era.

The tour will be filmed for a new season of "Making the Band" slated to air in late summer and will feature another Bad Boy artist, Cheri Dennis.

CBS Axes Reality Show After 1 Episode

NEW YORK (AP) — The secret talents of celebrities will remain hidden. CBS is axing its new reality show "Secret Talents of the Stars" after only one episode.

The first airing Wednesday had former "Star Trek" actor George Takei singing "On the Road Again." Only 4.6 million people tuned in — and thousands tuned away as the hour continued.

The reality show also had Clint Black doing standup comedy and Mya tap-dancing. Danny Bonaduce is among the celebrities whose secret talents will be kept to himself.

CBS officials say news programming is expected as a temporary replacement.

2008 Olympic Torch Begins in San Francisco

The 2008 Olympic Carrying of the Torch Begins in San Francisco amid large protests. The torch is beginning and it's bearer are now beginning the run on an alternate route through the streets of San Francisco. The torch route was roughly 6 miles long, but there is no word on the alternate route or it's length. The Torch and it's bearers are under heavy security patrol with rows of police on motorcycles on both sides.
