A University in Canada has a potential cancer cure. You read that right this could be it. The problem is that the research is not funded as well as it could be. This is because the drug has no patent. This means that upon release it could have generic forms available right off the bat. So no one is investing in this research. We need to get the word out to everyone we know about this. We have to make up for the investors who won't step up. Apparently these days scientific terms with the word black in them are racist too. Watch as a government official gets attacked for using the term. What should we call it? A multicolored hole in space with a high gravitational field? Maybe a colorless hole that sucks up stuff.

Been Geocaching

Here are some pics of Robyn and I after Gecocaching. It was a really good time. If you haven't looked into Geocaching I suggest that you do. The basics of Geocaching is to use a GPS to find various hidden containers around the world. When you find one you log it. You can also drop something off in it and take something with you. It is like a treasure hunt, although the stuff isn't exactly treasure. It sure can be fun though.

So there are even more scientists who think Global Warming is a crock. I'm glad to see these brave souls stand up and let the world know that maybe it isn't everything Al Gore says it is. In the article it mentions the existence of a community of skeptics. Not only will I have the link to the article but also another link showing that there is in fact such a community. I think it is time that this scam was fully exposed as they empty carcass it is.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some Liberal governmental functionary be it Democratic or Republican!

I’m in touch with my feelings and I like it that way! I think owning a gun doesn’t make you a killer, it makes you a smart American. I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized and does not entitle you to anything.

Obama supports no secret ballot Union formation.

In another scheme, Obama supports allowing Unions to see who voted for Unionizing and who did not. Toss the secret ballots and allow Unions to form easier. Also it would make it easier because the organizers will be able to see from the cards who voted for and against. I'm sure they will be fair though and not bother those who voted against at all. I mean everyone knows that Unions are above strong arming anyone and would never force themselves where they weren't wanted.

As Obama says, "I will make it the law of the land when I'm president of the United States." I won't even get into the whole presidents can't make laws thing. Since the average person doesn't belong to a Union and 83% of 1,000 voters think this is a bad idea. Of course, since when does Obama really care what we think?

Nancy Pelosi Sucumbing to #dontgo Pressure

Last night on Larry King Nancy Pelosi indicated she would be willing to have a vote on offshore drilling. She said that it would have to be part of a larger package. This is just spin. The American Energy Act that the Republicans were trying to get a vote on before she adjourned the House for five weeks was a larger package. Now she can allow a vote on it and take part or all of the credit for a bill that wasn't her idea and that she didn't even want a vote on. For those of you in the #dontgo movement you wont be fooled but there are a lot of Americans who weren't a part of and didn't even know about the #dontgo movement. We can't let them be fooled either.

Of course we also can't let off the pressure until a vote actually happens. If we do these could just turn out to be so many words. Words without substance.

64% of Americans support off shore drilling. It is time for our law makers to get on board with the American public. Some of them are and are fighting right now to try and get your voices heard. The speaker of the house, Nancy Pelosi, would rather not have a vote on an "all of the above" energy plan or any plan that doesn't get money in her pocket. (see below post for more on that).

The current drop in oil prices is already helping the economy. And this is happening just with a lot of strong talk about it. Imagine how much better this will get if we actually start drilling!

If you haven't already join the #dontgo movement. A good starting point for this is the #dontgo Movement homepage. Also call the capital switchboard at 202-225-0100 and ask for Nancy Pelosi. Tell her you want a vote on offshore drilling. Also tell her you don't appriciate her taking a book tour on our dime while this problem is still there. With all of us working together we can't be stopped.
