A Journey to the Cross: Walking Toward Jesus this Easter

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.” Revelation 21:6

When Jesus hung on that cross, He said, “It is finished.” John 19:30

Jesus took all our sin (my sin) to the cross on Calvary. He took upon himself the death and separation that is due us because of sin. Jesus became the sacrifice. His bloodshed was sufficient for all. He experienced the pain, hatred, and rejection. What the religious leaders of the day saw as a failure in His ministry, became the WIN for all who choose Him. Max Lucado said this about Calvary, “His plan is right on schedule. Even in–especially in–death, Christ is still the king, the king over his own crucifixion.”

What is your understanding of “It is finished”?

His life was a ransom for many…for you…for me. His obedience to the Father’s will, brings forgiveness and redemption to those who accept Him as Christ. Jesus having become the living sacrifice provides our life with meaning and purpose. We are called to live with hope and joy even in our struggles and hardships.

Other places in the Bible where Jesus is described as all we need:

Jesus calls himself the Living Water. John 4:13-14

Jesus calls himself the Bread of Life. John 6:51

Jesus calls himself the Good Shepherd who will lay down his life for the sheep. John 10:11

Jesus in laying down His life, reveals His great love for us. For there is no greater love than laying down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13

When Jesus said, “It is finished,” the work His Father sent Him to do was complete. He made a way for each of us to have eternal life. And it is secure! No one can snatch us out of His hand. John 10:28

Though Easter is just a few days away, our journey to the cross is not over. Our journey must continue. With Jesus, we can run our race well. He cares for us, and He can be our comforter. He is a faithful God. Let’s invite Him to be Lord over our life. We can trust Him with our life because He gave up his life for us. Let’s step out in faith to share the gospel and be encouragers to one another. 2 Corinthians 13:11

Highlights along with Scripture reference:

Jesus has a conversation with a rich, young ruler regarding what it takes to enter the Kingdom of God. It is recorded by three of the Gospel writers.

Matthew 19:16-22

Mark 10:17-23

Luke 18:18-23

How many of us are like the rich, young ruler who maybe thought that the way to attain eternal life was by being good. He had kept the law (kept the commandments), but Jesus said there is one more thing. Sell all your possessions, give the money to the poor, and then follow me. The young man walked away very sad because he had great wealth. The Message translation says, “This was the last thing the official expected to hear. He was very rich and become terribly sad. He was holding on tight to a lot of things and not about to let them go.”

At first glance, it appears that this man was “doing it right”. Jesus did not dispute his recollection of keeping the law thus we can assume he was a good, moral person. As a leader this was probably helpful in propelling him to success and being recognized in the community. Even in our culture today, he would be seen as an accomplished, hard worker. Yet something was amiss.

This man valued other things. Even in keeping the Old Testament laws, his heart devotion was distorted from the things of God. Jesus was asking him to relinquish his earthly treasures for the treasure of Jesus himself.

As we journey to the cross this Easter season, let Jesus be our treasure.

Your journey to the cross this Easter season

Scripture Reflection:

Ephesians 3:12

Matthew 6:19-21

Though the Ten Commandments continue to provide a solid moral basis, keeping them does not guarantee my salvation. Jesus’s death and resurrection provides that for me. In what ways might I begin to strengthen my relationship with Christ?

What things or areas in my life am I feeling called by the Holy Spirit to surrender or relinquish?

How can I continue to develop an eternity (Kingdom of God) perspective?

A Journey to the Cross: Walking Toward Jesus this Easter

Then he said to them all, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23

We have all had our share of burdens and struggles. And for some of us, these hardships we have had to carry for a very long time. In fact, in some instances, we might have considered them our cross to bear.

Have you ever heard the expression, “This illness (fill in the blank), is my cross to carry.” “This wayward child or estranged family relationship, is my cross to bear.” “This addiction (mine or that of a family member) is my cross to carry”?

While these are very hard things (and the list could go on), the cross that Jesus spoke of was NOT the burdens or struggles we carry. Jesus spoke of something so much deeper…bigger. Jesus spoke of a way of life that called for His followers to deny themselves every day.

What Did Jesus Mean?

Earlier Jesus had a conversation with the disciples about who people thought he was. Some said John the Baptist, some said Elijah. Then He asked them who they thought he was. Peter answered, “the Messiah.” His disciples recognized him as the Christ. Luke 9:18-20

After this proclamation, Jesus then went on to tell them that He will suffer greatly, be rejected by the religious leaders, crucified and rise on the third day. Luke 9:21-22

While Peter was the spokesperson here, it is an individual assertion to accept Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. This begins our journey…our walk as one of His disciples. In our journey we will be rejected, we will suffer, we must deny our self. We must become willing to die to self. This is what Jesus meant.

Culturally a cross represented execution by crucifixion. It meant death. In New Testament times, a criminal would be hung up to die (by asphyxiation) when staked to the cross by their hands and feet. It was considered a terrible and painful way to die.

So when we pick up our cross to follow Jesus, we must die to the things of the world. When the world says live for yourself, you deserve happiness; Jesus and the cross teach us to be self-less, to walk in obedience to His will for that brings true peace and joy. When we have been wronged, the world says you have a right to be angry and hold onto unforgiveness; Jesus and the cross teach us to love our enemies, to serve them, forgive them. Matthew 5:44 Luke 6:35 When the world says to work harder, buy more things, Jesus and the cross teach us to work as if we are working for the Lord and come to Him for rest. Colossians 3:23 Matthew 11:28

How can we live this way?

The cross makes it possible.

Jesus carrying our sins to the cross makes it possible. He dying and then rising on the third day is sufficient. And let’s not forget about the helper He promised us, the Holy Spirit. John 16:7. Loving our enemies, serving the poor, sharing our faith, and proclaiming the good news of Jesus even in persecution and rejection, is possible. In fact, it is what we are called to do as disciples. We can follow Jesus in this capacity because He is with us. He is our strength and helper to live courageously and boldly.

Your Journey to the cross this Easter

Scripture Reflection:

Matthew 10:38-39

1 Corinthians 15:12-32

Ephesians 4:24

Reflection Questions:

What does losing your life for the sake of Christ mean to you? And then finding your life in Christ, how might your life begin to change?

In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul speaks about the significance of the resurrection…that if Jesus had not been raised from the dead, his preaching is useless, his faith is dead, and he would be dead in his sins. Because of what Jesus did, Paul can face death every day. How does understanding this same truth over your life, lead you to the live a more crucified life for Jesus? What kind of, if any, freedom does this bring to your life?

In carrying your cross for Jesus, how is the Holy Spirit prompting you to let go of old desires or old ways of thinking? What has to happen daily for you to put on your “new self”?

What does the cross represent to you?

At Christmas time we celebrate the birth of baby Jesus. We are reminded that God chose to send His son in the flesh leaving His heavenly throne. This is a gift; an incomparable gift, filling us with hope. The season is filled with joy and peace as we celebrate this great act of love. 1 John 4:9-10

Jesus’ journey to the cross was the plan from the beginning. But even before the world began, God was love. Before He spoke the world into existence, He had an eye on us. “even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ” Ephesians 1:4-5

Knowing we need a savior, Jesus took his place upon that cross because of His great love for us.

His love endures all things and is never-ending. His love reaches those deep places of our heart in our pain and disappointment. We read the gospels to know that Jesus, too, experienced rejection and betrayal. There were times He was hungry, thirsty, tired, and angry. He felt sorrow and wept. In obedience, He often went away to be with His Father to pray and find rest. Jesus experienced everything that we do. He understands our hardships and struggles. He comes along side us to bring comfort. We can lean on Him for strength. His love never fails. We can and should take refuge in Him. Psalm 36:7 He is the God that never changes, though His love changes us.

Your Journey to the cross this Easter

Scripture Reflection:

Titus 3:4-7

Hebrews 12:2

1 John 4:16

Reflection Questions:

1. How does your understanding of being chosen, predestined as sons and daughters to Him, change how you see your life? How you might live?

2. He saves us because of His righteousness and mercy not because of our work or good deeds. Though understanding and believing this can be a challenge, it also brings freedom. Are there any areas in your life you are striving to control? Those areas you hold onto thinking you know better than God? Those areas where your performance and recognition become more important than the freedom of living in His will?

3. Knowing that He came to die for the sins of the world so that we might have eternal life, what thoughts and emotions arise? How have you experienced God’s love in and over your life?
The post Experiencing His Great Love first appeared on Rebecca Pierskalla.

In what are you devoted to?

In whom are you devoted to?

Simple questions…yet the answers will clearly represent our heart posture. I pray that something stirs in our heart; maybe even feeling some conviction. Along with the many distractions and our eyes too focused on worldly things, our devotion begins to wander. We begin to compromise and our heart can become divided.

Heart and Eyes on Jesus

The heart can be fickle. It must be guarded with a vengeance from the Devil’s lies and schemes. We can remember the words of Jesus as he was being tempted in the wilderness by Satan, “It is written: Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.” Luke 4:8

Friends, my prayer is that we confess our sin and ask for forgiveness. Let’s remember that He is faithful and just and will forgive us. 1 John 1:9

Lastly, let’s pray for our hearts to be realigned in wholehearted devotion to Him, fixing our eyes on the only One to sit on the throne!
The post Devotion of our Heart first appeared on Rebecca Pierskalla.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

What is faith?

Merriam-Webster dictionary lists faith as a noun. It is defined as an allegiance to duty or a person, fidelity to one’s promises, belief and trust in and loyalty to God, a firm belief in something for which there is no proof, and complete trust.

While faith is something we don’t see, I believe it is something we surely experience. Everyday each one of us put our faith and trust in something or someone. There is an ebb and flow as we walk each day in faith. I believe our faith is continuously tested. I think our faith is made stronger, just like our bodies when we exercise, as the trials and tensions come our way.

I love a good strength workout…especially when it is over!

I wrestle with my long “to-do” list and can talk myself out of an exercising session. Some days I am just tired and distracted. But I know from experience that skipping workouts bring no benefit. So I lace up my running shoes and crank up some fun music. As I start moving, my heart rate increases and my muscles warm up. I begin to add repetitions and weight which leads to burn and fatigue. Now some days I can push hard, and other days not so much as my energy is lacking. Each workout is different. On those hard workout days, my body feels like a noodle and probably will experience some muscle soreness. On those easier workout days, my body is simply happy I persevered.

These are some of the things that run through my mind during workouts: I am alive! God created this good body. Working out is a “get to”!! Taking care of the temple. This is why I continue to show up even when I don’t feel like it.

The heat and tension we feel in our muscles is a MUST for them to change, to get stronger. This work creates microtears in the muscle fiber and with proper fuel (water, good nutrition, rest, and proper sleep, etc.), the muscle structure changes. It becomes stronger, more powerful, more capable of enduring our activities of daily living (ADL’s).

Now this is a simple explanation of what happens to our muscles when load is placed upon them, but the same thing happens with our faith.

Faith Made Stronger

Our faith is constantly being stressed or challenged. When has your faith been tested? Maybe it is being challenged right now. And like a strength workout, sometimes it is not fun. It hurts and there is some pain. These tests are just like our workouts. We resist…we choose to do something else…we struggle through them. But, like our workouts that help our body stay strong and healthy, life challenges bring the opportunity for joy; our endurance grows, allowing our faith to be made perfect and complete, needing nothing.

James, the brother of Jesus, writes, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4

Recently, I took the opportunity to reminisce over old journals. As I was flipping through the pages reading the prayers and all the things that were on my heart at the time, God kindly revealed His faithfulness. I saw it so clearly in and over my life.

I was asking for protection over my family and marriage, a deeper relationship with my husband, discernment, clarity in hearing from God, a heart to love others well, a deeper faith, to see Jesus in everything, and, on some journal entry days, just the strength to make it through the day. These might appear to be general, even simple, prayers, but God has been working. He is continually doing a new thing.

John 15 reminds us that when we abide in Him, He produces the fruit. He is the vine and we are the branches. He will prune all that is fruitless, so that we may produce even more fruit as we remain in Him. This fruit reflects God and all His glory!

Like our weekly workouts, we reap the benefits when we show up. The same is true in walking out our faith with Jesus. As we experience trials and challenges in our life, we gain Godly wisdom, we grow in spiritual maturity, we are made more Christ-like.

This is HARD work. But it’s what strengthens our faith in the One who is always faithful. May I encourage and cheer you on to run your race. Continue your faith walk.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfector of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12:1-3

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you for being faithful. Thank you for your continually work in me. There are times it is painful, and I don’t understand why things happen as they do, but I trust you. I thank you for your work on the cross, your great love for me, and the promise of eternity with you. Please give me strength to persevere, to run my race that you have set before me. May you receive all the glory and honor. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
The post Faith Made Stronger first appeared on Rebecca Pierskalla.

How have you experienced God’s faithfulness in your life?

Take a few moments to reflect.

Recently in a small group study, this was one of the questions up for discussion.

It caught me off guard. I know God is faithful. I believe in His faithfulness and have experienced it many times in my life. But as I sat pondering this question…God’s faithfulness looks nothing like I expect. I even shared with the group that there are times I grapple with His faithfulness. And there are times I simply sit in awe of His faithfulness.

It occurred to the me that the reason why I sometimes struggle is because how He shows up and how He has proven himself over and over in my life is nothing like I expected. The verse from Isaiah quickly comes to mind:

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah 55:8 NLT

The Bible is the story of God’s faithfulness. We see it from Genesis to Revelation. From Noah, Abraham and Sarah, Moses and the Israelites, King David and into the New Testament with the disciples and Paul, He is true to his promises. God has clearly portrayed His steadfast affection and allegiance to us. In Psalm 136, we can take comfort in the 26 verses that remind us of His steadfast love. He is over all of creation, He had His hand of protection over the Israelites, and continues to meet our needs today.

King David

The passages we were studying in the small group were from 2 Samuel 7. David has this great idea to build a temple for God. Enemies have been defeated, there is a taste of victory, and peace surrounds the kingdom. All is good. God should be honored. They have been carrying the temple around in a tent. It seems like a noble idea. David even spoke to Nathan, the Prophet, about it, and he concurred. Shortly thereafter, Nathan gets a word from God that David is not to build the temple. God said “no”.

I can’t help but wonder if David bucked this at first. I think of how many times I had a good idea, something I thought would bring God glory or something that I felt strongly led to pursue, only to hear “no”. I also think of the times, I moved too hastily, being impatient, only to have those plans falter. I also have had the opposite happen where the Spirit was prompting me to make a change, but I resisted. That didn’t end well either! Can anyone relate?

In the words given to Nathan, we see how God is revealing His faithfulness. Starting in verse 5, the Lord reminds David that he came from being a shepherd to becoming the king, that he was protected from his enemies, that he will be given rest, and that the Lord will build the house and the people will be protected forever. Solomon, David’s son, who becomes the next king eventually builds the temple. But this temple, the royal throne that will last forever (verse 13), also points to King Jesus!

Even in the “no”, God proves that He is faithful.

Starting in verse 18, we see David’s response. He went in and sat before the Lord with a heart of gratitude. It is a beautiful prayer, friends, take a moment to read it. The “no” did not change David’s standing with God. God’s “no” simply means He has a better plan, a better way. Through the “no”, God is directing us to a greater purpose. In this situation, David clearly recognized this and placed his faith and trust in God. I pray that we do the same!

So…How have you experienced God’s faithfulness in your life?

Studying Scripture helps us learn and understand what God’s faithfulness looks like. We can see that God’s hand has been upon history from the beginning. That it is all a part of His plan. Acknowledging His faithfulness in and over our life, we begin to realize that this life is nothing like we expected. Even walking with the Lord now for many years, I contemplate His faithfulness at times. I am learning that my life is not my own; that my history is His-story. And so when things don’t happen the way I want them to, God is still faithful.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you for your steadfast love and your faithfulness over my life. Just as King David prayed, “Who am I?” Who am I that you would care so deeply for me, for my family? I sit in awe of your providence over my life. Even in and through the hard times, when it appears my prayers go unanswered, I trust you. Continue to strengthen my trust and faith in you, Lord. Help me to have an obedient heart and spirit that aligns with your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
The post God’s Faithfulness Even in the “No” first appeared on Rebecca Pierskalla.

I find myself often living like Martha, when I truly want to be more like Mary.

Can anyone relate?

Let’s take a look at the story of Mary and Martha. Luke 10:38-42

Jesus and His disciples had been traveling. They were welcomed by Martha into her home. Jesus began to teach and minister to the group of eager listeners. Mary, Martha’s sister, being one of them. The Message Bible says that “Mary, who sat before the Master, hung onto every word He said.”

Martha was the older sister to Mary and Lazarus. We see this “take charge” kind of personality in Martha. Being the oldest, this tendency for control probably developed while growing up overseeing most of what was happening in their house. Like most older siblings, she was given more responsibilities and held to higher expectations. Martha willingly invited this group of men into their home which was a social requirement in the current culture. In fact, it was considered shameful to turn anyone away. In her gracious hospitality, she diligently began preparations for, most likely, a meal.

This is when things begin to go amiss!

Martha begins to worry about the details and becomes distracted in the busyness. What started as a loving act of service towards Jesus, soon turned into self-serving comparison. She did, after all, ask Jesus to reprimand Mary for not helping. Martha was comparing her service to that of Mary’s lack of service.

Both Mary and Martha were serving Jesus. There is a proper time to sit with Jesus, listening for His voice, being guided by His Spirit, finding comfort and rest in His presence. And there is a proper time to work for Jesus.

Jesus who always speaks truth from a place of love, didn’t shame or condemn Martha. Rather He simply reminded her to re-evaluate her priorities.

The choice Martha made in this situation wasn’t entirely the wrong one, it wasn’t the best one.

A Missed Opportunity

This would have been a good time to let the cleaning and cooking wait. Martha tragically missed the opportunity of sitting in the presence of Jesus.

Imagine, for a moment sitting at the feet of Jesus! I wonder what Jesus was saying.

I know there have been many times where I chose busyness over sitting with Jesus. The “to-do list” is never done. And, being painfully honest, the list will never end. So why do we strive so much in our work, losing all peace and joy, to attain the unattainable?

Though managing our time and aligning our priorities with God’s will is a very real struggle, Jesus teaches us a better way.

Jesus had a very busy life. He traveled extensively teaching and preaching. He fully understood the call on His life and He obediently went to be alone with His Father. We must also take time to pray and rest in His presence. Matthew 14:23 Mark 1:35

What began for Martha as initially serving with good intentions, quickly turned into self-serving busy work. Let’s be reminded to serve from a place of love without seeking our own interests. Philippians 2:3-4

Seek Jesus first before we make our plans and go to work. Trusting in the Lord, giving our to-do list over to Him, will help us realign our priorities. Proverbs 3:5-6

Oh, Heavenly Father, let us always see you and choose you first. Please help us to recognize when our priorities become misaligned-when our serving in love might turn into self-serving busy work. Let our hearts willingly be guided and directed towards your ways. So that our plans align with your call on our life. We love you, we honor and praise you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Think of an invitation that you received in the mail…

Whether it be a wedding, anniversary, or birthday invitation, there is an eager anticipation to attend!

The joy in celebrating a new couple, honoring a couple who has grown in their love for each other, or happily commemorating another year of life, bring hope and promises of the goodness we can experience in our life.

What if you received an invitation that promises:

Joy Psalm 118:15

Peace 2 John 1:3

Rest Matthew 11:28-30

Reconciliation 2 Corinthians 5:19

Victory 1 Corinthians 15:57

Eternal life John 3:15-16

Would you RSVP with a YES?

The Best Invitation

The Message translation of 2 Peter chapter 1 says:

3-4 Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received! We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust.

A relationship with Christ is the best invitation we can receive. God, so graciously, has given us everything we need to navigate our walk on this side of glory. He lovingly invites us to himself. By His divine power, He lavishly gives us great and precious promises.

The promises are real and the invitation is open!

I ask again…What is your answer on that RSVP?

Our Response

Unlike the invitation to a wedding, anniversary, or birthday, we don’t have to think about what we are going to wear. We don’t have to show up looking like we have it all together! Nor do we need to worry about bringing the perfect gift.

Jesus simply wants us to come to Him with an open and willing heart. He wants us to sit in His presence, listen for His voice, and seek Him in all things. He wants time with us. We begin to learn His ways and His desires become our desires. Jesus promises that His yoke is easy and His burden light. Matthew 11:28-30

We can come with our brokenness, our fears, and our sin. Through His divine nature, He begins a new work in us. We can live with hope and an assurance of life with Him in heaven. 1 Peter 1:3-4

Answering with a YES to follow Jesus–accepting this invitation will completely transform us.

If you are unsure about this invitation or have questions, I would love to meet for coffee.
The post You Are Invited… first appeared on Rebecca Pierskalla.

How did last week go? Were you able to sneak away for quiet moments to be with Jesus?

Christmas 2021 is upon us…just a few days to go.

As you have been preparing, I hope your last few weeks have been filled with joy and peace. Studying and writing these blog posts have been very helpful for me. I sincerely hope they have offered insight and fresh perspective to such a busy season.

God stepped down from heaven in perfect timing. Jesus coming in the flesh, as a baby, reveals His great love for us. The events divinely orchestrated:

No room at the Inn but rather a stable

Joseph and Mary, young parents who trusted the call upon their lives

Angels singing hymns and praises

The shepherds, considered lowly workers, the first to visit and worship the King

Approximately 300 Old Testament prophecies fulfilled

Amazing!

God is faithful.

Trust in His Faithfulness

Jesus said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.” John 14:1

We place our trust in something or someone EVERY SINGLE DAY. We continually evaluate the things we can see in each of our circumstances; and this, very often, determines the choices we make. We place our trust in:

The size of our bank account

Our work/employment

Our retirement planning

Our spouse/family

Our traditions/the ways we navigate our lives

The list could go on…where do you place your trust?

In the case of a person, we might rely on their ability, strength, or character. We find ourselves depending on them. In the case of a thing, we might rely upon the safety or security we feel it brings us. In either case, we often rely on the things we can see or how we perceive the situation. The decisions we make are based upon past experiences along with how it affects our future. This is natural…this is us being human.

None of this is bad or wrong. Unless it shifts our attention from the One who is always faithful.

Psalm 131, written by King David, says it perfectly, The Passion Translation:

Lord, my heart is meek before you. I don’t consider myself better than others.

I’m content to not pursue matters that are over my head—such as your complex mysteries and wonders—that I am not ready to understand.

I am humbled and quieted in your presence. Like a contented child who rests on its mother’s lap, I’m your resting child and my soul is content in you.

O people of God, your time has come to quietly trust, waiting upon the Lord now and forever.

Oh Friends, let us rest in the wonder of our God. On this side of glory, there are many things we don’t understand, but let our hearts be filled with an unshakeable faith. There are times when the valley is deep, the pain and hurt seem almost unbearable, let us find comfort in His presence.

Jesus came for this…for us. REST in Jesus this Christmas.

Scripture for further study

Psalm 36:5

Psalm 62:5-8

Isaiah 26:3-4

Matthew 25:21

John 14:27

1 Corinthians 10:13

1 Thessalonians 5:24

Hebrews 10:23

2 Timothy 2:13

Action Step

Remembering God’s faithfulness in our own lives helps strengthen our faith and trust Him.

Grab a piece of paper or your journal. List times where you have seen God’s faithfulness.

What was the situation?

How did God show up?

What did you learn or what was revealed?

Take a moment to thank Him.

Merry Christmas! Wishing you health and peace in 2022.

Enjoy the movement practice.
