Through the years as I have attended various events; it is amazing the tips that you pick up just by being around other women. Women love to give advice & help their sisters out. In this post I thought that I would share SOME of the tips that I have found very helpful.   If you have tips of your own; please share!

1.) Drink lots of water. Water or lack of water can affect your whole feeling of health right down to the appearance of your skin. Drink lots for a good complexion, reduction of dark under eye circles & to aid in weight loss. Along with the water craze comes detoxing. I have heard of many methods from foot baths to “it works” body wraps. I prefer the body wraps & had such good success that I can actually sell them. contact Rebekah Meyer if you want to try it – I am happy to share the success!

2.) Loreal’s Beauty Tubes Mascara – make your lashes long & beautiful.

3.) Permanent make – up. no more raccoon eyes. My friend Kelly Thomas turned me on to this. Thanks to her I have a nice natural look everyday. She works at 15 East Style Studio

4.) Spanx! If you have gotten married lately or been in a wedding many boutiques will turn you onto this comfortable shape wear. I got mine at Gina’s Boutique & Renee’ Austin’s Boutique. Check out the Higher Power line.

5.) Scarves as a way to dress up a basic outfit. Scarves as belts, around the neck, in your hair & on your purse. Check with your Rebekah Rosa consultant to see her assortment of trendy scarves.

6.) If you wear basic neutral colors (black & brown…) choose accessories that are colorful. Some neutrals in the color arena are: Mustard, purple, red. start with your purse & work you way through different accessories.

7.) If you wear loud color & pattern in your clothing – choose a solid colored, toned down handbag & other accessories.

8.) A structured handbag that hits above the waste is the most complementary to most womanly figures. The structure will carve out of your figure. Hobo & other non structured bags will add bulk to the area of your figure that it sets against.

9.) Keratin treatments. I have a friend who helped another friend with curly hair get the sleek look she always wanted. If you have curly or frizzy hair this 16 week treatment will change your hair! 10.) Princess seams are the curvy woman’s best friend when it comes to accenting the positive & eliminating the negative. Want to look 10 pounds slimmer? Try pushing up your sleeves to your elbows.

11.) A facebook friend contributed her exfoliating & hydrating olive oil scrub; here is her recipe:

1/2 c salt 1/2 c sugar 2 c olive oil it will be very thick so stir til well mixed during the week you’ll have to re-shake as the oil separates. apply all over as you take a shower.

12.) 2 remedies for razor bumps: a.) deodorant applied to the newly shaved area & b.) using pantene conditioner instead of shaving cream to shave.

13.) Mineral Powder foundation is a huge favorite among purse party goers. The better brand you pick the better finish you will get on your skin. No more heavy liquid foundation needed! I personally use Mary Kay’s powder. I have also heard good things about Clinique’, Physician’s Formula & Arbonne.
