Our new Business Cards for the "Gladstone Angel Babies" group. These are placed in all packs for hospitals & funeral homes as a contact point, so that there can be an ongoing supply.

These are the tiny 5cm nappies which are placed into the Cocoon packs.. One for bub & one for the family to keep in their memory box..

12 lovely larger sized 'Angel' gowns from a beautiful donated taffeta wedding gown which was encrusted with pearls & glass beading. The size comparison below is small & large. There will be a medium size also on offer. Now to work on a "little manly" style for our 'Angel' boys.

The lace overlay works well & the join in the original gown doesn't look out of place here.

This was so much fun to make. With help from friends I managed quite well. All the panels & construction were done in the embroidery hoop of the machine. No hand work at all! Brilliant.

What a joy to sew for all "Angel" babies... These were all made from the one wedding gown & grooms vest. By adding some scraps of colour there were even more gowns.. Some of the Mums love the splash of bright colours, others all white so we cater to all likes...

Such a delight to make... "Red Red Rose" is from the AS & E Magazine. Made of Tana Liberty floral, it is a fine as a whisper to work with, even nails can pull a thread so care has to be taken. It is smocked with dark green & red DMC thread with a cream contrast. The sleeves & collar are handmade red grub roses with dark green hearts. The red is striking... my pic came out sideways, sorry...lol

A gorgeous apple green & pink with lace collar & cuffs. Pink smocked cowboy boots..

Mermaids & fish panel of smocking, blue spots suited this one perfectly for collar & cuffs.

This fabric is adorable, blue background with tiny shiny dots throughout... red piping on the collar & cuffs is perfect for the mermaid & fish smocking.

Another gown transformation for the Encephalitic bubs. A white wedding gown with emerald green satin bias as green is the colour for encephalitis. 6 gowns & 7 cocoons. Some of these will be sent to the USA for their chapter.

Managed to create 10 cocoons & 6 gowns from a lovely donated wedding gown which was very delicate & had lace overlay. Many little Angel bubs will benefit from all these..

Learning new skills with machine embroidery & loving the new challenges this brings. The little yellow "hold all" will be perfect in the caravan for my glasses at night, there is a little buttonhole at the top to put on a small hook that is already in place.

The red note-book cover is an amazing pattern, I was so excited to get it altogether with the ladies help after many hoop adjustments. Holds a small A5 scribble pad & three biros in the front. All quilted with stipple stitching & satin stitch.. Just perfect.. 🙌
