Captured by a writer’s muse

An inspiration settled from star dust upon my mind to be captured for enternaty in song or prose.

First, though, I must wipe a little nose, wash the keetle for the next meal or feed a crying babe. The cow, the horse and then the hens.

The pot boils over, the laundry needs turned on, toys are scattered as the neighbor phoned for a visit.

There is a meeting at the school at noon, the car needs fueled up, never mind the oil change that’ll wait another month.

This must all be patient while my creativity flows.
