These Mac 550′s feature unprecedented output for a 400 W profile. The RT Team have checked the units　 and have reported them to be in fantastic condition. Coming from a well-known production house in Perth they have been kept at the highest of standards. With their near new lamps and clean optical systems these fixtures are sure to perform almost as new. The Mac 550 features a 400watt short-arc discharge lamp ( HTI 400w) 2 x 8 position colour wheel plus open, 9 static and 6 indexable rotating gobos plus open and a interchangeable rotating prism. Other great features that come with this unit is a gobo animation wheel with full movement and direction control to create the most unique effects, adjustable fan control for noise sensitive applications and a modular design for easy maintenance and servicing. These units would suit either a small production company looking to move into the medium sized moving head range or a larger production house looking at increasing their moving light inventory. Units come complete with double flightcases and omega brackets. All you need is trigger clamps and you’re ready to go.

These Mac 250+ units have just arrived at RecycledTech from a large production house and have all had the usual clean and check by the RT tech　team, as expected there is evidence of the odd bump and scratch on their housings but all units are straight and their internals well maintained. They come including lamps that are 'as new'. Units are clean, bright and reliable; they would be ideal for a up-and-coming production company just starting out that may not be able to justify the expense of new units or a venue that is after some reliable, well priced moving heads. Units come in original 4 way cases.　 Using a 250W MSD lamp (3000 hour lamp life), the MAC 250+ successfully combines high light output with small lamp size. Its highly efficient optical system creates a bright but gentle light beam with achromatic lenses for a precise and sharp edge excellent for punching out mid-air effects or unbeatable projection effects. A dichroic color wheel offers 12 replaceable color slots with split color possibilities and a motorized gobo wheel contains 8 replaceable and indexable rotating gobos – both glass and metal. The MAC 250+ has a focused beam angle of 18.3°, 540° of pan and 289° of tilt as well as a highly effective cooling system to increase light efficiency. Added to this is a smooth rotating 3-facet prism capable of stunningly quick or super slow rotation – and everything in between. The dimmer function is not only smooth but linear, and the shutter allows for ultra fast strobe effects up to 20 Hz. Convenient 1/4 turn fasteners provide easy horizontal or vertical mounting and ceiling or rig/truss mounting is easily accomplished with one or two clamps.

The Mac 500 has been the workhorse of the Australian production industry for years now and these units are perfect examples of the bullet proof profile light that it is reknown world wide. These units have been on the road with a major rental company from new and are in reasonable condition considering their age, having had a once over from our technical team. A industry legend in the colour washing business. The City Colour 1800 is rated at IP54 and is ideal for large outdoor events to wash stages, buildings or anything which requires massive wash. The unit uses a MHN/SA 1800w lamp with the lamp life being 2,500 hours and 180,000 lm. The optic system uses a full CMY colour mixing system and an unlimited variety of colours and shades with a beam angle of 50deg x 52deg To control the unit you can run it through DMX or simply put the unit into stand alone and choose one of the slow fading colour chases for a great wash effect. This particular unit comes from a production house located in Perth and whilst it has completed a lot of work our Recycled-Tech team has serviced the unit and it is up to scratch mechanically, so we say it has many more years of use left.

The Citycolor 400 is an excellent solution for exterior colour change lighting when you need high output – especially in white. The patented optical system gives a smooth mix of colours and the 2 long life 150CDM lamps are economical and bright with a luminous flux of 14,000lm each. The unit has an IP66 rating and an you can run these either on stand alone or via a DMX controller. These units have actually been used by a touring company and come individually flight cased and are in excellent condition, having been protected from new. This makes them a perfect buy for rental companies but they would be just at home permanently installed and you can use the flight cases for something else!
