For Reid, Healthcare Reform Is Thicker Than Blood

Yesterday Senator Harry Reid’s wife and daughter were injured in a car accident. Reid’s wife was listed in serious condition after sustaining a broken neck and back. Reid’s daughter was less injured and expected to be released from the hospital soon. Posing as a caring father and husband, Sen Reid went to the hospital to check the status of his family members. Then he did what selfish and cold-blooded men do to their families – he abandoned them.

That’s right. Rather than stay at his wife’s side to comfort her after a traumatic event, he went back to the capital to continue healthcare reform talks.

Reid and Democrats are bowing before the altar of healthcare reform. Come hell or high water, the soul of the Democrats on capital hill has been sold for ultimate control of Americans through healthcare reform. This hostile takeover of American freedom is worth any sacrifice to them. Family, friends, life, death and injury do not matter.

To his credit, Senator Reid did return to the hospital after his meeting with Pelosi and the fully clothed Rahm Emanuel. But, I wonder if Reid was thankful even a fleeting moment for the excellent healthcare his family was receiving? The system he has bellowed as broken and needing desperate repair surely did a fine job of caring for his family. Otherwise, he may not have felt comfortable leaving them at the hospital.

Senator Reid just experienced the reason why Americans do not want the reform he is pushing. Our healthcare system is saving lives, and Americans know that. Maybe Reid will become thankful, too. Maybe then, blood will become thicker than water for Reid. Right now, healthcare reform is thicker than the blood of his own.

The Ultimate Fortune Cookie For A Patriot

After getting some very fine takeout Chinese food in Tinley Park, Illinois, I began looking for desert in the depths of my infamous “smiley face” bag. I found several fortune cookies waiting to be opened. It always seems to me that each fortune cookie has a little town-crier in it. When the overlapping edges of cookie are peeled away, this little guy pops out and belches some profound wisdom, charming complement or impaling insult. Today my fortune said the following:

“A fine is a tax for doing wrong. A tax is a fine for doing well.”

At first, this message is rather cutsie on words and almost entices a tickle to the point of humor. However, it is deeply fascinating. The imagery such a phrase gives brings to mind a double-edge sword. In a battle we will all use our sword to make progress in the fight. Yet, a mistake or slip can cause us great harm and even destroy us.

This is our government today, a double-edged sword. Our government claims to be a weapon in the fight for progress, but will cause us great harm and even destroy us if we make a mistake. But, who is deciding what a mistake is? Those who make the sword – or government would be the decision makers in this case. Rule makers are the rulers. Government will give us the sword and we in turn will kill our liberty and freedom with it.

This is what “…sacrificing for the greater good…” means. We surrender and the state survives.

Put another way, one side of the sword is “doing wrong” and the other is “doing well.” Either way, something is getting destroyed and even killed. Such is the nature of our modern government, who seeks everyday to find a way to tax and fine us to the point of our own destruction and eventual dependence. There is no better way to ignite a Patriot than to inflict destruction and dependence.

Al Gore As Savior: Climate Change Is About Human Redemption

This one line reveals the most insightful aspect of the whole climate change facade. It is true that climate change is partially about global government power and redistribution of wealth. However, the high priest of the global warming religion exposes the true reason for this creation. It is about creating a fourth branch of the Trinity, Al Gore as savior of the world.

Gore’s latest New York Time rant begs us to have faith in the truth of Global Warming/Climate Change. At least in my church, Faith is defined as believing things that are unseen. In other words, to believe something into existence. Gore is asking the world to believe by devine faith that our world will end if we do not surrender our freedoms and progress as a people.

Despite mistakes and pure fabrication of data used to make the climate change claims, we are to without question value the beliefs or “consensus” of others known as scientists? Are we now saying that man intelligently designed a lifestyle that will destroy the planet? Intellegent Design is an arm of the Christian belief. Now it is a wing of the religion of Climate change (aka. Climatistany).

Christianity is discounted because an Almighty God is not seen/heard/felt/touched. Yet, observed data about climate change is now proven to be unseen/unheard/unfelt/untouched. That makes no sense, unless you are living by faith – belief in something unseen. Those living by faith give value to Al Gore as a savior, adorning him with awards, wealth and instant public creditability.

When will Democrats start living the doctrine of “Separation of Church and State” regarding the cult of Climatistany? Never of course. Only true believers of one religion demand the destruction of another religion. Luckily, our Constitution prevents such hogwash from coming to fruition. But, then again, that pesky Constitution always gets in the way of believers.

The Book of Revelation states that many false religions will appear on the earth before the Second Coming of Jesus. Climatists are just another bunch of cashews in the chock full of nuts.

Obama’s World Citizenship Doesn’t Count For Much

Obama’s World Citizenship was going to save us all from International peril. According to Farrakhan, he would be a savior of the world. His echo-laden speeches were going to echo through the hearts of the angy and draw us to a world described by John Lennon in his song, “Imagine.” But, just like little children growing into adulthood, Liberals have to face the reality of Obama’s world value.

Iran keeps increasing its threats of nuclear activity.
North Korea has continued to shoot large firecrackers into the sky.
Pirates still hijack ships off the coast of Indonesia.
Taliban around the world have not layed down their guns.
Terrorists still threaten America.
When he visits other countries, many protest him like they did for George W. Bush. Must be that blasted birth certificate.

The latest example is his upcoming visit to Indonesia where he has been declared an enemy to Islam. For a President who claimed America is not a “Christian” nation, this makes no sense. He has roots in Indonesia, and folks are still protesting him. World Citizenship just doesn’t get you anywhere these days.

The biased reporting of the protests indicate it is “rare” for Obama to have the Bush experience in Indonesia. That seems very unlikely because of who is protesting. Obama’s beloved college students and young idealists are the primary voice in the protests. This tells me that if young idealists do not find his bellowing words comforting. Such experiences happen when you claim to be a man of the world, but articulate a new brand of American arrogance from the liberal agenda. Liberalism just makes everyone angry.

We are with you, Indonesia. America don’t want that junk, either.

Jack Frost Is A Terrorist, According to the White House

The ever infamous Jack Frost has ruined employment for Americans in the month of February. He huffed a big puff, and the snow storms that enveloped the US kept many out of work. This is un-American, and a threat to our financial strength and security according to the Department of Homeland Security. Because of this, Jack Frost is on the terrorist most wanted list. Now, I can no longer ask him to keep my drinks cold on the plane trips to Vegas.

In support of this position, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has called for Jack Frost to “chill out.” The Obama administration rebuffed this statement by asking Jack Frost to warm up to the idea of Global Warming.

The Obama administration is blaming upcoming bad unemployment numbers on the storms that plummeted the nation in February. Their argument is that the snow closed businesses and less people were able to work. But, I thought the Government offices were closed, too? So, if folks were unable to work due to snow, they were also unable to report to the unemployment office to be counted. People that already had a job would have returned to work instead of going to the Unemployment offices after the snow melted.

All of this means that the unemployment numbers are neutral. The snow did not increase the unemployment number because snowed in people can not file for unemployment. The number of unemployed increased because those people who did not have jobs when the snow hit did not have a job once the snow melted. In other words, either people have a job or do not have a job – irregardless of what evil things Jack Frost did.

The King Hath Spoken: Pass Healthcare Before I Become A Lowly Subject Like You

Against the wishes of the American people, King Obama still tells us that “…another year of negotiations…” will not matter. Negotiation involves input from both sides of an argument. So far, Democrats and Obama have been dedicated to not listening to any opposing views. That is not negotiations, that is coercion. That is tyranny.

Democrats know that they are going to be creamed at the ballot box this year. Obama knows he will not have another chance to manhandle such legislation through. Now is the time for Democrats to move. This will be the last time in a generation to get this passed.

But, timing is everything. Now is just not the right time to force something on Americans. We want to be fat and happy. Unemployed and underemployed Americans are not fat and happy. Americans are not happy unless they have a job – a good job, please. Therefore, Americans will go to the ballot box to reverse the imposition of our Democrat power-hungry politicians. It is very unlikely that Generation X will ever vote Democrat again.

But, Republicans are not out of the woods, either. The thrift-spending by George W. Bush and Company is not easily forgotten. Republicans have demonstrated how inadequate their own leadership abilities are by practically laying down to Democrats when they were in power. When Pelosi and her mobsters took the helm, the remaining Republicans took far too long to find their principles. Therefore, it is rather suspicious that many Republicans are finding their conservative roots only when Obama seems to be nailed to the wall of desperation. Even if Republicans take control of Congress in 2010, they will run the risk of being just as ineffective and hapless as before. Audacious centrist-talking Democrats could emerge and take many back down the European-Socialist Damascus Road.

This is why the entire Congress needs a reboot. Until every existing Congressman is replaced with newbies, the vices of Washington, DC will remain tucked away in the shadows. While I do support Republicans right now in order to send Democrats back to their villages, I am skeptical of Republicans for the long-term. It is parties such as the Tea-Party and the Conservative-Party who will be our next great hope.

Where are you Obi-Wan? Only time will tell.
