Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! Oh my, wasn't it just beautiful. The Sarah Burton dress, the carriages, the details, the whole day. I know there was a flurry of news media covering every inch of the wedding, but I wanted to just add a few photos I found that captured the day beautifully. I will be adding a details post over the weekend with some beautiful intricacies of the wedding that I noticed.

A Royal Engagement {Color Palette}

Oh my, the day is almost here. That is April 29th, 2011, Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton are getting married! While it is of course top secret the details of their engagement, half the fun is speculating what she will be wearing and of course the details of the entire day. Therefore in lue of my absence of knowledge of the day, I have created a little storyboard/palette for their day. Some of the photos are actual places that will partake in their day, while others are only a glimpse of an idea of what I can only imagine.

I am hoping to create another one this coming weekend with the actual photos and images from the day! So very fun and exciting. Again, I have listed the credits below.

Was it Just a Dream Palette

Welcome to the beautiful spring air! Perfect and crisp. There is something serene about spring, even with all the bright vivid colors, I love the feeling of spring. I put together this palette and as you may know blue is my favorite color!

I love blue, nearly all shades, so I do just love this whole collection. I have added our monogram invitation in a tiffany blue shade to this palette and I think it works wonders with the whimsy and calm of this collection. Scroll down to view the information regarding each image.

As a side note, I have decided to keep my blog posts a bit more abbreviated, yet post more often. I have so much I want to share, so I will be trying (key word) to add more on our blog. Do you have a blog? Write in the comments your address, I am so impressed by bloggers!

Fall In Love Inspiration {Color Palette}

Well it's official, at least here, that autumn is nearly around the corner. Although summer is delightful, there is something about fall that is so romantic and well, just lovely. I don't know if it comes from my many hours of adolescence day dreaming while browsing through the amazing September issue of Vogue and the amazing advertisements and dreaming when I would be "old enough" to wear beautiful fabric and wander city parks with the orange leaves falling around me. Or perhaps the all to familiar feeling of heading back to school as a child and ready for a fresh new start. All in all, fall is nearly here and I am just delighted!

Although I would consider myself a fairly traditional girl, I have to say that I love this Vera wedding gown. The color is so beautiful and I love the raw texture to the whole gown. Wow, what a wonderful summer vacation and now we are ready to go for the exciting Fall 2010! Can't wait to see what is in store for this season! Happy Tuesday - Luxury Stationery Line Update

Wow, I cannot believe it's already Tuesday. These past few weeks have been so packed with events and orders! I hope you are all doing wonderful. We have some new designs to share with you, and some of the custom invitations we have been working on. Please be patient as we slowly upload them over the week. I am really excited because this Wednesday I am attending my very first fashion show. In support of a good friend and I just couldn't be more excited. I am helping with her accessories for the models! Perhaps you will see a few new designs influenced by her new line!

Stationery Give-Away Announcement!

Well we hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Last week flew by and the weather was even warm for a few days, then snow!

We are very excited to announce our winner for our stationery give-away. We have been having such a wonderful time reading every persons response to our question; What was your favorite note you have received and why?

It was difficult to pick, but one really spoke to me regarding the strength and power of a sweet note. It doesn't have anything to do with length of note, but the thought that someone else is there, and thinking of you. It can be a very powerful way to convey your thought, and I believe sometimes is the most perfect way of expressing emotion.

I've received a few really special notes, but many years ago I ended a relationship with someone serious. My brother helped me move out....I was crying....one thing I said (which was silly looking back)"who is going to send me flowers". A week later I got flowers with a card that said, "Your brother will send you flowers. You deserve the best."..... It makes me tear up just thinking about it. - Anne On and On

This actually made me tear up too. This was so heartfelt and I hope that you send him a note in return telling him what not only an amazing brother, but a fantastic individual too!

Monday Hello

Well today has been a wonderful morning, despite the weather letting me down. I cannot believe that snow has been in the forecast. I hope it is sunny and warm wherever you live! By the way I am jealous! It's amazing how fast a week can go when you love what you do and you are busy too!

Anyways, I am exciting to be releasing some new stationery packs. They are a mix between thank you cards and personal notes. I have always been touched by a nice hand written note.

Also I have some fun new invitations that I have been working on. I think they turned out pretty fun and well just luxurious! Here is a sneak peak. More to come this week!

Paris In The Sky Color Palette

Oh wonderful- I love presenting color palettes, especially unique and elegant themes. This will coordinate with our classic collection and hope that it inspires and helps with your bridal selection and wedding colors. Beautiful navy, teal and chartreuse.

The Alvina Valenta dress is just stunning. The color is so subtle and beautiful, yet very fresh and new. The length looks amazing and it is still sexy, yet classy. I love the long sash, too many dresses these days are doing away with the sash. The neckline is very flattering and again the color is beautiful. I think the color will compliment all skin tones. Next we have the lovely chartreuse bouquet. This is from a wonderful organic flower company. I love this bouquet because it is simple, classy and so rare with green roses. Again very fresh, new and overall stunning. Please be advised that this does not come wrapped in a bouquet- you must have that professionally tied or you can tie yourself. There is something about this navy dress that is very eye catching. I love the waist details. That extra little fabric allows for some movement over a very simple strapless dress. Again the color is lovely and I think navy is very complimenting on most skin tones. This would be lovely with a simple shoulder wrap - perhaps in a cream to dress it up even more. This lovely flower and table arrangement is so perfectly done. The table card is simple to read and is lovely and sweet. The full blue hydrandras make it perfect for a blue and green wedding. This invitation is one of my favorites in our collection. There is a modern twist, but on luxurious paper with some delicate texture. The chartreuse mixed with the subtle blues draw attention to the wonderful event that it is inviting your guests to. You can pair it with a fun bright envelope or opt to go with a more subtle cream envelope. There are so many options and wonderful options for this set.

We had to feature these lovely bouquets. I love the bursts of color with the dark purple yet overall cream bouquets. They would be perfect if the bridesmaids dresses were a lovely green to go with the filler of the bouquets. Very lovely. Photo credit from www.onewed.com

I saw this cake slice and I just had to use it here! I love this cake and it look so perfect with the baby daisies covering the cake. I would love to see an entire wedding cake with this detail! Lanterns! Ahh I love lanterns. They make the light and moment just perfect. They can transform a stark dance hall to a lovely atmosphere. These in particluar are fun with their little ribbons hanging off of the chartruese lanterns. Remember to either wire them with lights or you can get a similar effect with just clustering them under lights for a textured filled illuminating glow! This is a Red Bumble Bee Handmade silk box. We make all of our boxes in house by hand. This is created with chartreuse raw silk with a light blue silk ribbon with an embellishment on top.
