Celebrity hairstylist Sami Knight took inspiration from classic Hollywood glamour, using Emma’s dark pixie cut to create sculpted curls and playful finger-wave-inspired detailing across her forehead.

The result was a brilliant choice for Emma. I particularly love how the tiny curls frame her face without overwhelming her features, while the smoky eye makeup gives the otherwise nostalgic hairstyle a contemporary feel. There’s a lovely contrast between the softness of the curls and the sharper finish of her makeup.

Sami explained that the aim was to reference old Hollywood while giving the hairstyle a modern edge, and the process involved considerably more than simply curling a few sections.

He began by prepping Emma’s hair with Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer for softness, shine and heat protection, before working four pumps of Thickening High Drama Styling Foam through her hair to enhance its natural texture and add volume.

Once he’d combed the hair into the desired shape, Sami used a diffuser to dry and set it. He then took a very small flat iron, twisting and curling individual sections in different directions to create the distinctive shape and movement.

A couple of drops of the Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil helped separate the curls and add shine, while Semisumo Hi-Shine Pomade gave the ends definition. A light application of Strong Finish Firm Hold Hairspray ensured everything stayed in place throughout the evening.

What I appreciate most is that Sami worked with Emma’s short haircut rather than trying to disguise its length. The result has all the charm of a vintage Hollywood hairstyle, but still feels entirely suited to her.

And with those perfectly placed curls across her forehead, the Betty Boop reference is impossible to miss.

The actress wore a vintage Yves Saint Laurent Autumn-Winter 1986–87 Haute Couture ‘Golden Tigress’ gown, complete with a matching leopard-print scarf.

I love the idea of this look because it evokes the glamour of Sophia Loren. The leopard print, corseted silhouette and matching scarf have that unmistakable Italian screen-siren appeal, which feels particularly appropriate for Rome.

However, as much as I love the concept, I can’t overlook the fit. The fabric pulling and gathering across her waist and hips is distracting, particularly when the original design relies on such a defined silhouette.

However, taking a closer look at the original runway and editorial images raises a few questions. The lace-up detailing on Kim’s bodice appears different, possibly to accommodate her bust. The leopard-print fabric also looks slightly different, but that could simply be down to lighting or the age and quality of the archival photographs.

What really caught my attention, however, was discovering a version of the ‘Golden Tigress’ gown that appeared at Kerry Taylor Auctions in December 2025.

The dress, listed as Lot 375, features a bodice that looks remarkably similar to Kim’s, particularly the shape of the cups and the placement of the black lace-up detailing. This makes me wonder whether Kim is wearing the very same gown that was sold at auction, rather than the original runway piece.

I can’t confirm that Kim’s gown is the exact piece sold at auction, but the similarities in the bodice certainly make it a possibility worth considering.

Whether Kim is wearing the auctioned gown or another version, the fit remains my biggest issue. This is why I would much rather see her commission a recreation of an archival design, made specifically for her measurements. She could retain everything that makes the original so special without compromising the fit.

The fashion direction is interesting. I just wish the execution of this particular look had lived up to the idea.

The actress and reality star wore a bespoke Erdem dress inspired by the Spring 2027 collection, and I know, I’m just as surprised as you are to see Kim wearing this label.

But this is precisely what I wanted from the Law Roach x Kim Kardashian partnership. After years of seeing Kim in a constant rotation of the same designers and silhouettes, I was hoping for new labels, fresh ideas and a willingness to explore fashion beyond the formula we’ve come to expect.

And that’s exactly what we’re getting here.

The collaged dress combines black and pink crushed satin with a sheer lace skirt and suspended crystal floral embellishments that cascade over the bodice and down the skirt.

Of course, the cut-outs, lingerie-inspired bodice and sheer lace skirt are familiar Kim Kardashian territory. The difference is that they’re presented through Erdem’s more romantic, decorative aesthetic rather than the body-conscious minimalism we’ve seen from her countless times before.

What I particularly appreciate is that this doesn’t feel like Kim has abandoned her signature style. Instead, she’s exploring it through a different designer’s perspective, which is exactly the kind of change I wanted to see from this collaboration.

Now I’m really looking forward to seeing what Law and Kim have planned for their first press tour together for All’s Fair.

I always say that if you’re going to wear a simple black dress, make it a good one, and Gemma’s Khaite Dakota sculptural crepe-satin midi dress from the Fall 2026 collection certainly belongs in that category.

What I love about this design is how it offers a fresh perspective on the tuxedo dress. The exaggerated, rounded sleeves create a striking silhouette, while the plunging neckline and fitted skirt keep the proportions beautifully balanced. It’s an interesting way to reinterpret classic evening tailoring without losing its elegance.

The styling is equally appealing, particularly the Cartier jewellery. I love how the Panthère de Cartier tie pin replaces the gold fastening seen on the runway, giving the dress a more personal touch while retaining that small flash of gold at the neckline.

It’s also worth remembering that Gemma wore a Miss Sohee Couture gown to the Newport Beach Film Festival UK Honours back in 2023. That pink creation was a world away from this black Khaite dress. Talk about a complete 180.

The black pumps were a natural choice, but it’s the combination of the sculptural sleeves, jewellery and red lip that makes this such a successful look for me.

After so many elaborate looks, Céline signed off with a classic black Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello suit.

The satin peak lapels elevated the tailoring, while the label’s Germantes slingback pumps and a stunning necklace completed the look. Sometimes, a beautifully cut black suit is all you need.

We’ll have to wait until May for Céline to resume her concerts and, hopefully, her fashion appearances. By then, the Fall 2027 ready-to-wear and Spring 2027 Haute Couture collections will have been presented, giving her a whole new selection of runway looks to choose from. And after everything she’s delivered over the past few months, I’m already excited about the possibilities.

But my favourite part of this final appearance is her pose. Arms outstretched, as though taking one last bow before the curtain falls.

London Photocall

There’s something wonderfully defiant about this Colleen Allen Fall 2026 look, and Naomi has the confidence to pull it off. The cardigan and sheer embroidered skirt might seem like an unlikely combination, but that slightly unsettling quality feels perfectly suited to the darker mood of Clayface.

London Screening

Had this been any other label, I might have wondered how this black knitted dress manages to hold its sculptural shape. But this is Issey Miyake, a fashion house with decades of innovation in fabric manipulation, pleating and experimental construction behind it.

The exaggerated sleeves are the defining feature of this Fall 2026 design, turning an otherwise simple black mini dress into something far more interesting. I’m also glad she opted against the longer skirt we saw on the runway.

Styled with Paris Texas slingback pumps, this was another example of Naomi’s willingness to experiment.

London Premiere

You could identify this as Dilara Fındıkoğlu without needing to see the label. The corseted bodice, exposed lacing, textured finish and dramatic shoulders are all signatures of the designer. The gothic sensuality feels particularly appropriate for Clayface.

Barbie Ferreira wore the same dress back in April while promoting Faces of Death, which only reinforces my feeling that this is exactly the kind of fashion I want to see from my scream queens.

Yesterday, things brightened up considerably when Naomi stepped out in a pale blue Diotima Spring 2027 ensemble.

After several days of black, this was a welcome change of pace. But the lighter colour didn’t mean abandoning her love of unusual silhouettes, as the sculpted hem of the top demonstrates.

The long ponytail and sunglasses are becoming something of a signature throughout this press tour, and they work just as well with this softer colour palette.

Empire State Building Visit

Naomi rounded off the week in a Jean Paul Gaultier Smoking Graphic mesh bodycon dress.

After the architectural shapes and gothic detailing of her London appearances, this was a more streamlined look. I love that she’s kept us guessing throughout this press tour rather than settling into one particular aesthetic.

And while the conversation was entertaining, her dress was giving us plenty to talk about, too.

Wearing the Rachel Gilbert Francesca gown, Kristen embraced a festive mood in a gold, figure-skimming column dress covered in colourful embellishments and floral appliqués. It’s a lot of detail, but that’s precisely what makes this dress so much fun.

If you’re anything like me, you’re probably looking at this dress and wondering why she didn’t opt for burgundy pumps. They would have picked up those deeper red accents beautifully and made the look even more interesting.

That said, her black Jimmy Choo Romy pumps do keep the focus on the dress.

A Question of Opacity

I would have been more enthusiastic about Olivia’s white Alaïa Spring 2027 asymmetric dress with its criss-cross neckline had the skirt offered the same level of opacity as the bodice.

The contrast between the two halves is a little too distracting for me, although I do love the silhouette, particularly the cascading asymmetric hemline.

Her strappy sandals worked beautifully with the dress, while Bird on a Rock by Tiffany earrings and rings, alongside a Sixteen Stone ring, completed her look.

Statuesque Elegance

Olivia also performed on stage wearing a black Alaïa Spring 2027 dress, and this is easily my favourite of the two.

She looked beautifully statuesque in this dress. The way the fabric falls creates an elongated, graceful silhouette, while the knotted detail introduces soft draping that enhances the overall elegance, despite the height of the slit.

For me, this was the stronger fashion moment of her big night.

Simone Ashley and minimalism aren’t two things I often associate with each other, but the British actress made a convincing case for it in TOVE’s red Beth dress.

What I love about this look is that the colour does most of the talking, with the softly draped detail providing a focal point without distracting from the dress’s simplicity.

My only change would have been the bag. While the black DeMellier Stockholm bag complemented her black mules, I feel the label’s Vancouver clutch would have been a much better choice with this dress.

Especially Pilar Fogliati, who attended the premiere of her upcoming film, Il Profilo Dell’Altra, on Thursday.

When it comes to her pink Miu Miu gown with floral embroidery, the question is: where do you even start?

Not with the hemline, I can tell you that for free.

It’s the apron-style bodice that has me scratching my head, followed closely by the beige bikini-style bra underneath.

We’re well accustomed to seeing these apron-style dresses from Miu Miu, but the styling of this particular look is beyond confusing. The gown itself has so much potential, especially with those delicate floral embellishments, yet the bra feels completely disconnected from everything else.

Why beige? Why that shape? And why make something that could have been so charming look so awkward?

A bandeau would have been an improvement. A cropped top could have worked, too. There were several ways to make the apron-style bodice work, yet it’s almost as though Miu Miu didn’t even try to make this wearable for the red carpet.

That’s what makes it so frustrating, because I genuinely believe this could have been a beautiful look.

And with three awards came three all-black looks for the occasion.

A Different Kind of Three-Piece Suit

For the red carpet, the La Perla singer wore a Tom Ford Spring 2027 interpretation of a three-piece suit, featuring a tuxedo jacket, barely-there bra and bias-cut flared skirt with structural draping and a leather belt. It was oozing the sensuality we expect from both the house and Haider Ackermann.

What surprises me most is that Rosalía kept the tuxedo jacket on. Music awards ceremonies are usually an opportunity to show skin and make bold fashion statements, but she resisted the temptation to take this look further. Then again, considering how much her style has matured this year, perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised. I actually think keeping the jacket on made the look more interesting.

The Second Act

While accepting her Hall of Fame Award, Rosalía changed into a Givenchy by Sarah Burton Spring 2027 dress.

The embroidery gives the dress a beautiful texture, while the fringe adds just the right amount of drama for a music awards ceremony. Had she performed on the night, this would have been the perfect onstage look.

Ruffles Take Over

After the sultriness of Tom Ford and the more playful Givenchy dress, Rosalía took a different direction when accepting the Latin Pop Artist of the Year, Solo award wearing Celine.

I like how the oversized ruffles gave this look a more romantic feel, particularly in contrast to the sharper silhouettes she had worn earlier in the evening. There is something quite charming about this choice.

Three black looks in one evening might sound repetitive, and I certainly wouldn’t have complained about some colour. However, I appreciate that Rosalía approached each appearance differently. For me, the Tom Ford was the winner, largely because keeping that jacket on was such a smart styling decision.

She wore a LII Spring 2027 strapless mini dress from the label, which recently won second prize at the LVMH Prize. The clean silhouette and contrasting green side panel give the dress a minimalist feel, but there is also a playful element that feels distinctly Alexa.

Grey has never been my colour of choice, but the flash of green gives the dress a welcome lift, while the white pumps provide a fresh contrast.

Colour-blocking was a recurring theme throughout the Spring 2027 collection, with unexpected combinations that suit Alexa’s fun-loving approach to fashion. On the runway, the dress was paired with a single bright blue legging, but thankfully, Alexa skipped that gimmicky styling and let the dress speak for itself.

Her jewellery included a Tiffany HardWear medium link necklace in yellow gold with diamonds and Tiffany HardWear medium link earrings in yellow gold with pearls.

For me, this is Alexa at her best: an uncomplicated outfit with just enough personality.

After her playful pear-print dress at the Newport Beach Film Festival, Mariana took a decidedly more glamorous direction in a custom Louis Vuitton warm-grey silk crêpe gown.

What I love most about this look is the draping and fluidity of the fabric, while the open side introduces a subtle sensuality that makes the design even more appealing.

The metallic sheen is particularly beautiful against her complexion, and I appreciate that the styling was kept simple.

This is her second consecutive Louis Vuitton look for a major event, and another example of Mariana’s increasingly interesting red carpet choices. Are we potentially looking at a new Louis Vuitton ambassador, or at least a friend of the house?

We’re so accustomed to seeing the British actress in Dolce & Gabbana and Jenny Packham that her choice of Matières Fécales Fall 2026 came as quite a surprise.

The collection’s pleated tulle, drop-waist corseted skirt is already familiar, having been worn by Sarah Paulson and Claire Foy, but seeing it on Helen feels like another unexpected chapter for the label.

Then again, I would have said the same about Sandra Hüller before she wore Matières Fécales at the London Film Festival, and we all know how well that worked.

So why does this work for Helen? Because she’s wearing the clothes her way, rather than allowing the designer’s aesthetic to dictate how she should look.

By replacing the runway’s dramatic jacket with a simple black ribbed top, Helen has taken a piece that could easily feel theatrical and made it entirely consistent with her own style. And those magnificent Margot McKinney Australian South Sea pearls are quintessential Helen. The necklace, earrings and ring bring the kind of old-school glamour she has always loved to a label I never imagined her wearing.

The Tyler Ellis Winnie handbag is also a natural extension of her personal style. Nothing about this outfit suggests Helen is trying to reinvent herself to suit Matières Fécales. Instead, she’s brought the label into her own wardrobe, on her own terms.

Held in partnership with Bang & Olufsen, the event celebrated the magazine’s November/December issue and its 2026 Better Men Honours list, recognising men across culture, politics, sport and fashion who are challenging traditional ideas of masculinity.

Cover stars Tom Hiddleston, Aaron Pierre and Haider Ackermann attended to receive their honours, while previous honouree Ashley Walters returned to recognise the next generation, honouring his Adolescence co-star Amari Bacchus.

On the fashion front, the evening offered a mix of classic black tie, relaxed tailoring and a few welcome departures from convention.

The Art Of Looking Undone

Sam Claflin wore Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann Fall 2026, and this was easily one of the evening’s most interesting looks. There’s a distinctly ’70s rock-star quality to the styling, with the patterned coat, contrasting ivory lapels and loosely draped scarf giving traditional eveningwear a more decadent, almost louche feel. It reminds me of the way Mick Jagger approached tailoring, where looking slightly undone was always part of the appeal. This is exactly the sort of unconventional black tie I love seeing on the red carpet.

Black Tie Done Right

Aaron Pierre looked every inch the leading man in BOSS. The double-breasted tuxedo fits him beautifully, and the broad shawl lapels complement his physique. The polka-dot pocket square is a small but welcome addition. For me, this is his best look ever.

The Classic Gentleman

It’s autumn, so of course Tom Hiddleston was going to stay true to his classic approach to menswear in Ralph Lauren Collection, wearing a velvet double-breasted suit. Some might find it predictable, but when someone wears formal tailoring this well, I’m not looking for reinvention.

The Miu Miu Boy

Sebastian Croft took a completely different approach in Miu Miu, with a flash of the label’s signature exposed underwear. It’s youthful, playful and exactly the sort of look I would expect him to embrace, as he always offers something different on the red carpet, even when he takes the traditional tailoring route. That said, I can understand why some might feel this was the wrong look for the occasion, as it’s considerably more casual than what everyone else was wearing.

Velvet After Dark

Ashley Walters opted for a Gucci monogram velvet shirt with black trousers, but it’s the Jaden Smith ‘The Cocktail Gorp’ Oxfords that are the real talking point. I appreciate that Ashley chose something more adventurous than a standard dress shoe, so make sure you zoom in.

A New Generation

Amari Bacchus wore Denzil Patrick, with the patch pockets lending his double-breasted jacket a utilitarian feel that sets it apart from conventional evening tailoring. I like how that practical detail contrasts with the decorative brooch.

A Gothic Twist

Tish Weinstock wore Tom Ford, taking the traditional velvet smoking jacket into more gothic territory. The patterned sheer tights and pointed pumps give the look a seductive edge, while the white floral brooch provides a striking contrast against the black velvet. This feels entirely in keeping with Tish’s personal style.

A Different Kind Of Tailcoat

Kai-Isaiah Jamal also wore Tom Ford, giving the traditional tailcoat a provocative update. I love the contrast between the formality of the tailoring and the exposed tattoos. It’s an unconventional take on black tie that feels entirely natural on them.

Less Is More

Paapa Essiedu’s Lanvin shirt, with its relaxed collar and utilitarian pockets, offered an interesting alternative to traditional eveningwear.

A Playful Detail

Kit Butler added personality to his classic McQueen suit with a skull-print tie. It’s a small detail, but it makes all the difference, giving the otherwise traditional tailoring a touch of the house’s rebellious spirit.

Velvet And Vintage Appeal

David Harewood in a dark velvet double-breasted jacket is always a safe bet, and this look has a timeless appeal.

A Signature Flourish

Haider Ackermann gave his Tom Ford tailoring a signature finishing touch with a white floral brooch. I love how this single detail softens the all-black ensemble and introduces the romanticism that has long been part of his design language.

Photocall

We all know just how understated Leïla’s style usually is, so I was surprised to see her wearing this Prada Fall 2026 look, which feels far removed from her usual style sensibilities. Between the layered top and the distressed hemline of the grey skirt, this was a left-field choice that I don’t believe paid off.

Prada ambassador Benedetta Porcaroli wore this same look during the Venice Film Festival, and for me, it was a much better fit for her personal style.

Premiere

The evening’s premiere saw Leïla return to familiar territory in a Ralph Lauren Spring 2027 look that feels much more in line with the style I have always known her for.

You only have to look at the gold skirt to recognise Ralph Lauren’s signature approach to eveningwear. And while Leïla didn’t style it with the navy blazer and blue waistcoat seen on the runway, pairing it with a simple white shirt ensured the look still felt unmistakably Ralph Lauren.

I particularly love the contrast between the relaxed shirt, with its open collar and rolled-up sleeves, and the lustrous gold skirt. It’s an uncomplicated combination, but one that feels so much more natural on her.

Wearing a Roberto Cavalli Spring 2003 creation, Kim worked with celebrity stylist Soki Mak, who was also responsible for her previous cheongsam-inspired look in Singapore.

This black leather gown is a striking example of Cavalli’s early-2000s aesthetic, combining intricate, tattoo-inspired cut-out detailing with a cheongsam-style high collar, a plunging keyhole neckline and, of course, the fitted, corseted waist that has become such a signature of Kim’s wardrobe.

I love the intricacy of the design making this one of the more interesting archival Cavalli pieces we’ve seen her wear.

However, I keep coming back to the corset lining.

Assuming Kim owns this archival piece, wouldn’t it have been worth changing the colour of the lining to better match her skin tone? The current shade is noticeably lighter, which interrupts the tattoo-like effect of the cut-outs. A closer colour match would have made the intricate leatherwork appear almost as though it were sitting directly against her skin, creating a much more seamless illusion.

I even wonder whether something as simple as tea-staining the lining could have warmed the colour enough to make a difference.

The Chilean actress was among Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch for 2026, thanks to her role in Martin McDonagh’s Wild Horse Nine. Could this recognition be an early indication of what’s to come during awards season? We’ll have to wait and see.

For the occasion, Mariana wore the Pear dress by Jazmín Chebar, an Argentine fashion label. While it isn’t a Chilean brand, I like that she chose a South American designer for an event celebrating her international breakthrough.

But can we talk about the pears? When did they become such a popular fashion print? First, we had Pamela Anderson wearing Monse’s pear-print dress at the Venice Film Festival, and now Mariana has joined the fruit bowl.

Unlike Pamela’s delicate print on pale blue, Mariana’s dress features a much bolder colour combination. With the print already making such a statement, I’m glad she kept everything else simple with black sandals and minimal jewellery.

Between her recent Balenciaga look at the London Film Festival and this fruity number, I’m enjoying the variety she’s giving us.

Her Chanel Fall 2026 Haute Couture jacket featured a black tweed with a bead-embellished check pattern, entirely handmade in the house’s ateliers at 31 Rue Cambon in Paris. The jacket and belt were finished with elaborate gold chain braiding, created in Chanel’s specialist galon atelier. Inspired by the treasures collected by a thieving magpie, a recurring symbol in the collection, the embellishment gave the look a distinctly jewellery-like quality.

Knowing the glamour queen Céline is, I would have expected her to pair this jacket with a long black tweed skirt, or perhaps even velvet with a sweeping train. Instead, she wore jeans. And you know what? It works.

The contrast is exactly what makes this look so appealing. The light-wash, wide-leg denim takes some of the formality out of the couture jacket, while the elaborate gold detailing ensures that nothing about the outfit feels ordinary.

There’s also something refreshing about seeing Céline embrace this more relaxed approach without sacrificing the glamour we associate with her.

Jeans were certainly not how I expected Céline to close her Paris residency, especially after all the spectacular couture we’ve seen her wear. But perhaps that’s why I love this look so much. After weeks of extraordinary gowns and statement pieces, she ended on a completely different note, reminding us that couture can be just as captivating when paired with denim.

While the previous occasion called for couture, this time she opted for a Ferragamo Spring 2027 black chiffon dress designed by Maximilian Davis.

I’m sure this look will feel instantly familiar following Sarah Paulson’s custom Ferragamo ensemble at the Academy Museum Gala. Both feature oversized paillettes that create a striking three-dimensional effect, although Dua’s dress also incorporates delicate gold droplets, crystals and ocean-blue sequins.

I have a feeling these pictures aren’t doing the dress justice. With every step, those embellishments would have caught the light, and I can only imagine how much more impressive the effect was in person.

My feeling about Sarah’s look was that it appeared too heavy, but here, the sheer chiffon gives Dua’s dress a sense of lightness, despite the generous amount of embellishment. The asymmetric hemline and trailing fabric add to its appeal.

Dua completed her look with the same jewelled Ferragamo pumps we saw on Sarah, along with Bvlgari jewellery.

Dua’s love for the opera is fast becoming one of my favourite chapters of her fashion story, because she’s clearly treating each opening night as an occasion to dress for.

On that occasion, while we were experiencing a heatwave, the Norwegian actress wore an open cape and sparkling trousers. For this autumn festival, she opted for a grey Louis Vuitton Spring 2027 suit, although the design was far from conventional.

What initially appears to be classic tailoring reveals a more experimental approach, with one lapel crossing the body and fastening at the shoulder with a jewelled detail, while asymmetric panels fall from the trousers.

I love this interpretation of tailoring, particularly how the jacket retains its sharp structure despite the unconventional construction. It was also a complete contrast to the more traditional suiting we saw from Saoirse Ronan at the same festival.

The look was styled with the Imperial Solitaire and Acte V Apotheosis rings from the Louis Vuitton High Jewellery collection.

For me, this is an example of how tailoring can be interesting without losing its elegance. The unexpected details make the suit worth a second look, while the red pumps are a welcome finishing touch.

We’ve seen so many facets of Jennifer Lopez’s style over the years, but I never imagined that channelling her inner Norma Desmond from Sunset Boulevard would be one of them.

The classic JLo glamour is still there, courtesy of a plunging black Maria Lucia Hohan gown, but things get busy with the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Taormina 2026 coat.

On the runway, I can appreciate the coat as part of the designer’s extravagant vision. The fur trim, colourful floral embroidery, mint-green satin lining and sweeping black fringe all make sense within that setting. However, on Jennifer, the sheer volume of details becomes overwhelming. Between the fur, embroidery, fringe and plunging gown, there’s simply too much competing for attention.

The Georges Fouquet Art Deco necklace is another beautiful piece, but it only adds to the visual overload.

I can appreciate the theatricality, especially for an evening at the opera, but this feels more like Jennifer is auditioning for the role of Norma Desmond than attending a gala.

All that’s missing is the famous line: “I’m ready for my close-up.”

Prep began with Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo, followed by a 15-minute treatment with Joico Defy Damage KBOND20 Power Masque.

On towel-dried hair, he applied Joico Dream Blowout Glass 72HR Frizz Fighter to create a smooth, glass-like foundation. Working in two-inch sections, he applied Joico JoiWhip Design Foam at the roots before blow-drying with a round brush to create volume and a sleek silhouette. He then created a deep side part.

Next, he misted three-inch sections with Joico Heat Hero before curling the mid-lengths and ends with a large-barrel curling iron, keeping the roots smooth and flat. He pinned each curl in place to set.

At the front, he created a softer, flatter curl, which he brushed through to form a fluid, sculpted, face-framing wave. Once the curls had cooled, he removed the pins and gently brushed through the hair to create seamless, flowing waves.

He finished with a mist of Joico Hold Hero High Hold + Shine Boosting Finishing Spray to maintain the style and add shine.

Having spent much of the tour chasing the sun through colour and golden accents, Jenna switched her focus to the film’s exploration of artificial intelligence, wearing a one-of-a-kind Elias Matso creation that celebrates something technology cannot replicate quite so easily: the human hand.

The aptly named Boned dress, from the designer’s Melt with Me collection, was constructed over a hidden corseted bodysuit using metres of linked flat and spiral steel boning, embellished with Preciosa crystal beads. Each piece of boning was individually cut and tipped, while the flat sections were hand-painted with colours inspired by Canadian artist Marc Ranger.

I love the contradiction here. At first glance, the metallic construction and cascading strands look almost futuristic, which makes perfect sense for a film about a humanoid robot. Yet the closer you look, the more you appreciate the extraordinary amount of handwork involved.

And while the front is already impressive, the back reveals the corset lacing that holds this intricate creation together. I also love how the rigid steel gives way to dangling strands below the hips, creating a completely different effect from the structured bodice.

This is the kind of method dressing I particularly enjoy. It doesn’t simply borrow a colour or motif from the film; it engages with the story itself. And with Jenna wearing something so technically ambitious from a young designer, this might be one of the most interesting looks of her Klara and the Sun press tour.

Christian Louboutin Pigalle Follies pumps completed her look.

The actor wore a custom Chopova Lowena ensemble, featuring a beaded jersey top from the Spring 2027 collection, customised with a portrait of Olivia Colman’s character, The Fisher Woman.

He paired it with the label’s Catherine taffeta carabiner midi skirt in contrasting green and pink tartan. If the skirt looks familiar, that’s because Maisie Williams wore a shorter purple and green version while promoting Practical Magic 2 back in August.

I love this. You can never make me hate Alexander’s current approach to fashion, particularly his willingness to wear pieces that challenge what we expect from menswear.

Some might argue that he doesn’t take fashion seriously, but I’d say the complete opposite. There’s a difference between dressing for a reaction and genuinely enjoying fashion, and Alexander falls firmly into the latter category. He’s not blindly throwing together unconventional pieces. The portrait of Olivia’s character gives this look a personal connection to the film.

And that’s what makes his partnership with Harry Lambert so enjoyable. There’s humour, individuality and a willingness to experiment, but there’s also a clear appreciation for the clothes themselves.

Alexander was joined on the red carpet by his younger brother Bill Skarsgård, who clearly isn’t following in his older brother’s fashion footsteps.

Bill opted for a burgundy Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2026 suit, offering a much more traditional approach to premiere dressing, although the design was far from ordinary.

I particularly like the overlapping lapels, which create an interesting asymmetrical neckline and give the jacket a distinctive shape and a unique point of view.

I don’t think Bill needed the elaborate brooch. The rich burgundy colour and modern tailoring already make enough of an impression.

Now, had this been Colman Domingo, I suspect that brooch would have stayed firmly in place. We know how much he loves a statement piece of jewellery, and I can absolutely picture him embracing the full runway styling.

Two brothers, two completely different approaches to menswear, and I can appreciate both.

The Canadian singer wore a custom Victoria’s Secret black beaded balconette bra and matching low-rise maxi skirt, both featuring sheer, crystal-embellished butterfly motifs.

I love the choice of butterflies. They’re a clever alternative to the signature Victoria’s Secret Angel wings, making the connection without being quite so literal.

Considering this was the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, I wasn’t expecting Tate to arrive in anything remotely conservative, but I have to say, she looks sensational.

What makes this work for me is that Victoria’s Secret hasn’t tried to disguise its lingerie roots. The balconette bra is exactly what you’d expect from the brand, while the low-slung skirt, with its exaggerated thigh-high slit, feels like an extension of the lingerie rather than a separate piece of eveningwear.

The crystal embellishments add that extra dose of glamour, but the overall look still feels like something Tate would wear, which is just as important as staying true to the brand’s identity.

This time, she wore a Roberto Cavalli Spring 2027 slip dress in devoré velvet, featuring a painterly gradient of muted florals, earthy greens with a gold pigment.

There is something distinctly archival about this dress, which is hardly surprising considering how much Fausto Puglisi’s latest collection felt like a love letter to Roberto Cavalli’s early 2000s era. Everything about this says it could easily have come from the designer’s archives.

What I particularly love is how the print becomes more concentrated towards the hem, where the gold catches the light beautifully. And while this isn’t as obvious a reference to the sun as her vintage Pierre Cardin dress from the photocall, the gold pigment scattered across the fabric catches the light, creating an almost sun-dappled effect. It’s a more subtle interpretation of the theme, but one that still feels connected to the film.

It’s been refreshing to watch her explore a different side of her style without losing her edge.
