Oh hai. So yeah, my brian is fried. Yeah I see the typo, I’m leaving it in there just to illustrate my point. Three weeks of sleepless nights, counting lines of code in my head. Well it wasn’t so much inside my head as it was projected onto the dark cieling, the negative space of the code burnt into a green blue glow on my retina. I got it done though, as you can see around this post, pretty things popping up and distracting you from my point. Originally I wasn’t going to bother with all of this, I just wanted a basic site to throw a gallery on, until I could afford to pay a professional to do it for me. But I’m a curious cat, and peaked into some code, adjusted a few things, the gallery grew into a blog, and then a full blown site. Before I knew it I was teaching myself php, css and all sorts of other nonsense I still only barely understand. I just know it looks how I want it to look and behaves like I want it to behave.

Monologue over. Welcome to the site. Red Light Laundry, my photography studio of sorts. Nothing up here yet, but that is all to come. I’ve put so much time and effort into building the backend for my business that I neglected the actual photography part. Whoops! Anyway I have thrown up the last few weeks of the Photo a Day project to test the gallery function so you can check that out. I’ll be sure to let you know when there is more to see.
