Choosing Running Shoes – Find The Right Foot Type

Basically there is no such thing as the best shoe unless you have found the right one for you. The first part of finding or choosing running shoes that will make you comfortable is to identify your foot type.

Everyone of us have different needs, differences in biomechanics, weight, and shape of feet. What is important is to find the ideal shoes for us either it is running shoes or shoes for casual locations.

The first step to find the most comfortable shoe is using the “Wet Test.” The Wet Test will determine of what is your foot shape. To do this you have to wet your footprint on a dry floor or piece of paper and the print will show what is your foot type mostly likely be.

Generally there are three types of foot: The Normal Foot, The Flat Foot and The High-Arched Foot. If you are confused with your foot type you could watch the clip below.

For Normal Foot type persons the best shoes to choose from are shoe that features stability and have the moderate control ability.

For Flat Foot type persons the best shoe are shoes that have motion controls or a much high stability. It is also advisable to refrain from shoes that are highly cushioned, curved and does not have stability features.

For High-Arched Foot type persons it is best to go for cushioned shoes which has more flexibility for foot motion. It is recommended not to choose shoes that are motion control or stability because these shoes will reduce your foot mobility.

Nike officially introduced that Nike LeBron 9 is about to be out in the market and expected to have its release dates on October 1 in China and October 15 in U.S while the official Black/Red/White style will be release on October 25.

It was also revealed that LeBron’s signature shoe will be available on NIKEiD for the first time which will be previewed starting October 11 complete with full design options.

Nike has also partnered with 2K Sports as part of LeBron 9 promotions and probably because of the release of NBA 2K12 on October 4.
