After two years of ranting about various topics, I’ve decided to call it a day. The best of RST will be reworked and put on my new website, which will mostly be an online portfolio as well as a blog where I talk about the occasional thing that tickles my fancy. I will also be tracking the development of my book over at I Heart Powerviolence.

There are a few reasons why I’m doing this that I feel like sharing with my readers:

If you want politics, read the WSWS. They’re going to say pretty much what I do, but a lot more intelligently. I admit that I can put things in a way that some readers “get,” but frankly, you’re not going to “get” anything here you won’t get there.

I’m writing a book. I don’t really see myself having the time to write a daily rant.

I want to take my writing up a notch and RST/BSG seem to belong to my past as a writer, not my future.

I feel very grateful for the number of people that I have met through doing Red Star Times. I feel that my readership is among the most thoughtful and independent on the entire internet. Watch here for my new website, which will launch in the next few weeks. The best way to know about it is probably to subscribe to the feed.

I’m not done writing. I’m just moving on to the next chapter. I can’t thank you all enough. So long and thanks for all the fish.
