L’Etrange 2012 Festival screened Redd Inc to French audiences for the first time. “Imaginez un mélange entre Saw et la série The Office” so they say…

24 July ’12 – Puchon
Redd Inc screened at the 2012 Puchon Fantastic Film Festival in Korea with director Daniel Krige there to face the Korean press.

The screening of Redd Inc at the Dungog Film Festival was interrupted for 20 minutes tonight while paramedics were called to the historic James Theatre to attend to an audience member who had collapsed. During one of the more shocking and impactful sequences of the film a young male cinema goer collapsed and became unconscious. Fortunately the man was revived, and after being taken for observation recovered quickly. The audience stuck around to see the bloody and surprising conclusion to the film. No other audience members were harmed. You can read all about it in this article in Screen Daily.

After our recent trip to Cannes to introduce Redd Inc. to the world market, there’s been a lot of big news brewing. All we can say for now is that there is a theatrical release scheduled for Japan in November and Australia/NZ will get to see the film on just about every home entertainment platform in October. More (read huge) news will be released as soon as details are confirmed. In the meantime if you’re heading to Dungog in regional New South Wales for the Film Festival there, Redd Inc.’s playing on Saturday’s Fright Night…you can buy tickets for the screening here. A huge congratulations to Bella Heathcote on her amazing performance opposite Johnny Depp in Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows. Bella’s horror chops were years in the making as you can see from the first concept test for Redd Inc. that we shot in December 2009. We’re looking forward to seeing her on screen again on more and more impressive projects. Well done Bella!

Redd Inc. is the world’s first feature that includes content that was sourced from YouTube submissions. It is being unleashed on international distributors in Cannes this month and will premiere internationally later this year after its hugely successful debut at the Australian Film Festival in March.

Get tickets to the Redd Inc Premiere screening at the Australian Film Festival.
Redd Inc’s Premiere screening will be held at the Australian Film Festival in Sydney on March 17. The festival will feature a huge array of successful Australian films including Hail, Swerve, More4me, Burning Man and Red Dog.  There are also amazing range of short films being screened alongside workshops and panels exploring film craft.

The first ever public screening of Redd Inc will be held on the last night of the Australian Film Festival. Redd Inc. will be released soon in Australia and New Zealand and is now selling internationally, watch this space for more information about where you can see it.
