CTR Motorsports arrived in Walton, ON for the final round of the Canadian Rockstar Energy Triple Crown MX Series with the hope to finish off the year strong with some impressive work from the CTR team. Throughout the series CTR Motorsports have shown they have what it takes to be a championship team. Week in and out the team works extremely hard in order to make sure the riders are comfortable and ready to race. Coming into Walton, the team was focused on finishing the series strong and gathering valuable points heading into the Supercross portion of the Triple Crown Series.

Josh Snider, founder of Redemption Racing, lead the Devotion/chapel service after the riders meeting. He talked about how reading and meditating on the bible gives us power to make changes in our life. For more depth on the topic, you can listen to the full audio recording here: h

Rockstar Energy supported rider Josh Osby would enter Round 8 at Walton with a throat infection, still looking to put down some results. Moto 1 would see Osby charge hard all Moto, despite his sickness, to an impressive 5th place finish. Osby attempted to race Moto 2 but decided to call it a day due to the infection. Josh finished 9th in points despite missing 2 rounds of the Triple Crown MX Series. He was one of only 4 guys to get an overall podium throughout the series as well as hold the red plate for a weekend. Thank You Josh for all the hard work you’ve put in this season.

CTR Motorsports Rockstar Energy Supported rider Jayce Pennington would come into Walton with high hopes after landing on the podium in Deschambault. Moto 1 would unfortunately see Jayce get into a bad collision during the first corner which would derail the start of the CTR riders day. Although suffering from an injured shoulder, Jayce showed the determination to line up for Moto 2 at Walton. Moto 2 saw Jayce charging in 7th position for 3 laps when he would end up colliding with another rider mid air, over the tunnel jump. Jayce showed great potential coming back after his injury sustained during supercross. Jayce has finished in the top 10 the last two rounds leading up to Walton. Podiums are definitely in Jayce’s future heading into the Supercross portion of the Triple Crown Series.

450 qualifying saw Keylan Meston in 4th position heading into Moto 1. As the riders lined up for 450 Moto 1 Keylan would get off to a great start, grabbing the holeshot and starting the Moto in the lead. He would ride hard all Moto long to finish in 5th position. Moto 2 saw Meston get another great start where he was able to display the high level skills that he possesses. Charging hard Keylan would finish Moto 2 in 6th for a very consistent 5th overall finish at Walton. Meston would finish the MX series in 6th overall, ahead of several factory supported riders.

Eric Jeffery’s day would go well as he was able to once again put in some consistent riding and end up in the top 20 overall of the Triple Crown MX series. Moto 1 would see Jeffery get caught up in a bad situation after the start, he would cross the finish in 30th position. Eric would put his head down and move his way into 19th position where he would finish off the Moto. Jeffery’s second moto would see the CTR rider with a much better start. Running in 14th for the first lap, Eric would have a small tip over on the rough and rutted Walton Raceway. While losing almost 15 seconds from the tip over Eric would push hard towards the pack where he would ultimately finish in 17th. He would finish 19th overall at Walton and 16th in the overall series points for the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown MX Series.

Owner of ClubMX Brandon Haes decided to line up in the 450 class for some fun at the final round in Walton. Brandon went 16-19 for a very respectable 17th overall.

Round 8 at Walton is one for the books as it marks the end of an amazing MX series in Canada. We at CTR Motorsports would like to thank the entire team for their endless work this season. We would also like to thank the sponsors that allow us to continue to operate at such a high level, without your help none of this would be possible.

CTR Motorsports left round 7 of the Canadian Rockstar Energy Triple Crown MX Series with some impressive results showing that every weekend the team is able to adapt and continue to move forward. The team worked hard all weekend and the improved results show for it! The #21 of Josh Osby would not line up this weekend in Deschambault due to an upper body injury and is being monitored day to day. We hope to see Josh back out there for Round 8 at Walton.

Josh Snider, founder of Redemption Racing, lead the Devotion/chapel service after the riders meeting. He talked about the mysteries within the bible that are will be revealed to us through meditation of God’s word. For more depth on the topic, you can listen to the full audio recording here:

Jayce Pennington is rounding into form after spending an extended amount of time coming off a injury sustained during Supercross. 250 Moto 1 saw Jayce finish in 3rd place, Pennington would charge hard all Moto where he would battle with many of the top guys in the 250 pro class. This marks Jayce’s first ever pro national podium. It was great to see the Rockstar Energy sponsored rider up on the box in front of a very supportive crowd in Deschambault. Carrying his confidence from the Podium finish, Pennington would grab the holeshot in Moto 2, leading a pro national for the first time in his career. Jayce would ultimately tighten up resulting in the loss of a few positions. Pennington would charge hard to an 8th place finish. His 3-8 would put him in the 6th position for the overall on the day. We wish Jayce a relaxing weekend off and hope to see him back on the box in Walton.

“Jayce had a great weekend, he was on point with his starts, the BBM powered machine ripped the holeshot in the second moto. He found himself in a position that he has never been before, leading a moto. He missed on that opportunity, but will be better the next race when he finds himself in a similar position. We are pleased with his progress and look for him to build upon his experiences for the final round.”

Skip Norfolk (CTR Motorsports Crew Chief)

Keylan Meston and Eric Jeffery would both put down great qualifying times in the competitive 450 class heading into Moto 1. Keylan 5th and Eric 17th. Moto 1 saw Meston make a small mistake on the second lap of the Moto where he would find himself in 17th position. Showing the heart of a lion, Keylan charged hard and was able to salvage a top 10 finish by the checkers. Keylan set the fastest lap of the race during the final lap of Moto 1. Eager to show that he is a threat in the premier 450 class, Keylan got another great start after the gate dropped for Moto 2. He would ride a very consistent Moto where he would finish a series best of 4th place. Keylans 10-4 finish would result in a 6th overall.

“Clearly Keylan showed us today that he has great sand and hard pack skills and can adapt to all track conditions”

The number #28 of Eric Jeffery would not have the best day at Deschambault. Jeffery would suffer from a mechanical issue during Moto 1 which would ultimately place him in 39th position heading into the second Moto of the day. During the third lap of Moto 2, Eric would suffer from a crash which led to him losing about a minute of time. He went from 18th position pushing towards the front, to ultimately finishing in 28th position for Moto 2. He would finish the day in 27th overall.

The team will be debuting the 2020 FXR gear in two weeks at the final round of the Canadian Rockstar Energy MX Tour in Walton, ON. Be sure to come out, have a look, and cheer on the CTR team as they look for another set of impressive results.

CTR Motorsports arrived in Moncton, NB for Round 6 of the Canadian Rockstar Energy Triple Crown looking to improve on their race results from Ottawa.

Josh Snider, founder of Redemption Racing, lead the Devotion/chapel service after the riders meeting. He continued speaking about our mental strength. That our self talk has a direct effect on our self image. We need to focus on who God says we are and not what we think we are. For more depth on the topic, you can listen to the full audio recording here:

The day started off with a very impressive qualifying session from all 4 CTR Riders. Rockstar Energy rider Josh Osby would would qualify in 3rd, while fellow teammate Jayce Pennington was right behind him, qualifying 5th overall heading into Moto 1. 450 qualifying saw Keylan Meston with a career best of 3rd position and Eric Jeffery in 13th.

With a big change from the previous two sand tracks the boys were able to utilize their Hoosier Tires on the deeply rutted and tilled track which foreshadowed a tough day of racing.

250 Moto 1 would get off to a bad start for the #21 of Josh Osby. Osby was running 2nd position after the start but would make contact with another rider sending him to the ground on the first lap. His Shoei helmet provided him with great protection; however the impact from the fall would prevent Josh from racing for the remainder of the day. Jayce Pennington would struggle off the start sitting in 13th position after rounding the first lap. While moving forward Jayce would make an aggressive pass on another rider which resulted in a small spin out, placing him back in 17th. Jayce continued to put his head down and charge where he would make multiple passes to cross the checkers in 8th place for Moto 1; his first top 10 moto finish in his Canadian pro career. Looking sharp in his FXR gear, Jayce would proceed into Moto 2 with his best start of the season so far running in 6th position on the first lap. He would swap back and forth between 5th and 6th where he would cross the checkers in 6th for a career best 7th overall on the day. This was a fantastic way to celebrate the CTR riders birthday. Jayce is becoming more and more comfortable on his YZ250F and looks to improve his results in the final two rounds of the Canadian Rockstar Energy Triple Crown MX Series.

As the 450 guys hit the track for Moto 1, Keylan Meston would put in a very impressive ride where he would finish in a top 5 position, his best of the season. Keylan was not really pressured at all throughout the Moto and ran some very consistent lap times. Eric Jeffery would start Moto 1 in 15th position and would ultimately finish in 12th, his best of the season. The guys were clearly comfortable with their Ohlins suspension on the rutted and hard pack track. Moto 2 saw Meston starting in 4th and then settling into 5th place. A small bobble on lap 10 cost Keylan 2 positions where he ended up back in 7th by the checkers. He would ultimately finish the day with a season best 6th overall. Eric Jeffery was not as fortunate when a collision on the start straight ended up with the #28 down in the first corner. With a bloodied arm and a ripped jersey Eric got right back up on his YZ450F about 45 seconds behind the leaders. He would move steady through the pack continuing to put in impressive lap times. Jeffery would finish 15th in Moto 2 and 14th overall on the day.

The team moves on to the only Quebec round of the series at Deschambault next weekend for Round 7 of the Canadian Rockstar Energy Triple Crown MX Series and looks to improve on the results of this weekend. Josh Osby’s health will be monitored this week and a decision will be made as to his race status on a daily basis.

After a rough weekend at Gopher Dunes CTR Motorsports battled through the intense heat at San Del Lee for Round 5 of the Canadian Rockstar Energy Triple Crown MX Tour. The Club MX, Traders Racing, and Redemption Racing team arrived at the country’s capital looking to make a statement once again in both the 250 and 450 Pro classes.

Josh Snider, founder of Redemption Racing, lead the Devotion/chapel service after the riders meeting. He continued speaking about our mental strength. That by the patterns of thoughts we allow in our mind, we give power to them in our life. For more depth on the topic, you can listen to the full audio recording here:

Qualifying in the 250 class saw both CTR riders Josh Osby and Jayce Pennington within the top 10 heading into Moto 1.

Moto 1 start saw Josh Osby get blocked by a down rider coming into the first corner. As Josh crossed the finish for the first lap, he sat in 25th position but kept pushing hard towards the front of the pack. Osby put his head down and charged which put him within the top 10 by the third lap. As the halfway board came out Osby was putting down lap times that would comparable to that of the Moto 1 leaders. Josh steadily pushed his YZ250F and made a crafty move on the last corner of the race to grasp 6th position. CTR Motorsports rider Jayce Pennington Moto 1 saw him round the finish for the first time in 15th position. Unfortunately early on during the race, Jayce had a downed rider in front of him on the long right hand sweeper. Ensuring to not hit the downed rider Jayce had no other option than to run over his bike, which ended up in Pennington getting pinched off the track, up and over the bars, where he landed in a muddy pond area. He was unable to continue, although he got back up, he ended up pulling in for a 40th place finish.

Moto 2 saw Josh Osby with a much more aggressive riding style. Running in 3rd position after the gate drop Josh would continue to charge. By the third lap Osby had made his way into 2nd position where he would ride incredibly strong, setting his fastest lap of the day. Osby would end up finishing just outside of the podium with a 4th place finish in Moto 2 as well as a 4th place overall for Round 5. Josh now sits in 7th in points for the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown MX Tour and looks to improve those results over the next 3 rounds. Jayce Penningtons Moto 2 would see him in 22nd position after the first lap after getting bottled up in the first turn. Jayce would then suffer from a minor eye issue and pulled into the mechanics area on lap 3. After resolving the issue Jayce reentered in 33rd position about a minute and a half behind the race leader. Despite the temperatures reaching 110F at San Del Lee, Jayce Pennington would not give up and still displayed his exceptional physical fitness. Jayce’s lap times were easily good enough to be in a top 10 finish, however unexpected issues occured. He would finish 40-17 for 22nd overall. We at CTR Motorsports are excited to see Jayce make an impact at Round 6 in Moncton, NB.

After a rough weekend at Gopher Dunes, Keylan Meston looked to rebound on the sand track at San Del Lee. Keylans first Moto would see him sitting in 12th after the start, quickly, by lap 4 Keylan was able to make his way into the top 10. Meston would run in 8th place until lap 13 where he would experience heat exhaustion. Seeing Mestons lap times drop by approximately 6 seconds it was evident Keylan was feeling the heat. His true grit and desire would ultimately allow him to finish in 9th place for Moto 1 against his bodies wishes. Recovering in an ice bath between Moto’s Keylan would start Moto 2 with an impressive 2nd place start, just missing the Holeshot Award. Meston would battle hard throughout the rest of the

Moto to finish in 8th. Keylan Meston would end up taking 8th overall which places him in 9th place in the series points.

CTR Motorsports rider Eric Jeffery came into Moto 1 looking to put his Hoosier tires and Ohlins suspension to use against the Ottawa track. Eric’s first moto started with a great inside gate pick, unfortunately though, a rider went down right in front of him resulting in a loss of time as he tried to avoid hitting the rider. Jeffrey’s first lap would show him in 27th position. Jefferys lap times continued to improve which allowed him to pilot his YZ450F into 20th by lap 4. The following lap would see Jeffery make a small bobble while overtaking a rider, causing him to go back to 33rd position. He pushed to make passes and finished the Moto in 25th, passing many of the same riders twice. During Moto 2 Eric would put in a very consistent ride where he would cross the checkers in 15th, taking the 17th overall for the day. Eric Jeffery looks forward to next weekend in Moncton as he has had some of his best career finishes on the Riverglade MX track.

We at CTR Motorsports wish the team all the best heading into Round 6 in Moncton, NB for the Canadian Rockstar Energy Triple Crown Series.

Club MX, Traders Racing, and Redemption Racing team riders Josh Osby, Jayce Pennington, Keylan Meston, and Eric Jeffery took on Gopher Dunes during Round 4 of the Canadian Rockstar Energy Triple Crown Series. CTR Motorsports lites rider Jayce Pennington made his Canadian debut this weekend at Gopher Dunes. Jayce is just recently coming back to racing after an injury sustained during the Supercross series. We at CTR are fully committed to Jayce’s program and hope to see him lay down some very impressive results upon his arrival. Round 4 at Gopher was also the Canadian National debut of the Hoosier Sand Tire which proved to work well throughout the day. With help from the Hoosier Sand tire Osby was able to qualify 2nd overall early Saturday morning.

Josh Snider, founder of Redemption Racing, lead the Devotion/chapel service after the riders meeting. He continued speaking about our mental strength. That the location of our faith needs to remain in Christ and not our outcome. For more depth on the topic, you can listen to the full audio recording here:

As the gate dropped for 250 Moto 1 Jayce Pennington #131 got a great start where we saw him make the first few turns in 5th position. Jayce would ride very comfortably around the rough Gopher Dunes track until unfortunately he suffered an engine failure on the YZ250F ultimately heading out of Moto 1 credited with a 16th place finish. Moto 1 saw Josh Osby charge out of the gate until he got pinched in the first corner. As Osby crossed the finish line for the first time he was able to make some important passes to move up to 5th position. Continuing to move towards the front of the pack Josh would suffer a mechanical issue on his 9th lap, unable to continue, Osby was scored as 37th, with the DNF.

In Between moto’s CTR team was hard at work swapping motors on both Josh Osby and Jayce Penningtons YZ250F in order to prepare for Moto 2. As Moto 2 commenced, Pennington was involved in a crash which put him in 40th position, dead last, as he passed the Rockstar Energy finish line for the first time. Jayce put his head down and made some very crucial passes where he would ultimately finish in 18th position. Jayce’s riding was much better than his results show and both CTR and Jayce are looking forward to next week in Ottawa.

With a fresh motor complementing the Ohlins suspension Josh was able to get a great start out of the gate. Josh would make a minor mistake that would put him to the ground. Josh got up and charged his way with the goal of making as many passes as possible. He went from 15th to 6th by the end of Moto 2. Despite the issues earlier in the day, Josh was definitely able to finish off the day strong with a 13th overall at Gopher Dunes.

The 450 class saw both CTR riders Keylan Meston #10 and Eric Jeffery #28 line up at the gate for Moto 1. As the gate dropped Keylan sat in around 11th position as he rounded the first lap. During his second lap, Keylan unfortunately had a crash which caused the radiator to get clogged with sand. Consequently, Keylans YZ450F overheated resulting in a DNF and a 36th overall finish. After another motor swap, Keylan charged hard in his 2nd Moto to cross the finish line in 19th position, placing him 21st overall on the weekend. Eric Jeffery’s Moto 1 would start with some issues as he locked bars with another rider launching out of the starting gate. Eric was able to stay upright on his YZ450F but would cross the line in 30th position after lap 1. Posting his fastest lap of the day on lap 2, with assistance from his Hoosier Sand tires Jeffery quickly made some crucial passes to cross the checkers in 18th for Moto 1. The brutal track and humid weather conditions would ultimately take their toll on Eric physically during Moto 2. Eric pushed as hard as he could all Moto long to finish in 22nd, placing Jeffery in 20th position overall during Round 4 at Gopher Dunes.

“When adversity comes your way, it’s how you handle it as a team at the time that brings out the true character of people. From riders to mechanics to support staff we passed this test with flying colours. We will be a better and stronger team moving forward as a result of a very tough day. Very proud of our guys/ girls.”

Scott Jeffery (CTR Motorsports Team Manager)

We would like to send out a huge thank you to all of our sponsors and everyone who helps us out. Our mechanics deserve great recognition after a day that was filled with mechanical issues, without these guys we wouldn’t be able to push through like we do. Thank You to Skip, Dougie, Greg and Josh for pushing through no matter the circumstances.

Despite the torrential rain, wind, and cold weather that passed through McNabb Valley MX track on Saturday the CTR team battled through the elements in order to salvage some meaningful points before the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown heads to the east.

Josh Snider, founder of Redemption Racing, lead the Devotion/chapel service after the riders meeting. He continued speaking about our mental strength. That prayer is not about moving God, it’s about moving us and our heart to see Him, and moving our boundaries and belief systems. For more depth on the topic, you can listen to the full audio recording here:

CTR Motorsports 450 pro rider Keylan Meston qualified 4th place in Minnedosa this weekend with some very impressive lap times given the rough and rutted McNabb Valley track. As the day unfolded the weather in Manitoba started to attack the track viciously, officially turning round 3 into a mudder!

As the gate dropped for Moto 1 Keylan had a great start that placed him near the front of the pack for the first half of the Moto. With help from his CTR prepped YZ450F equipped with Ohlins suspension, Keylan was able to make his way into 2nd place. After pushing to maintain a podium spot Keylan, unfortunately, got tangled up with another rider removing Meston from a podium spot in Minnedosa. Keylan ended up finishing in 10th position as he crossed the checkers in Moto 1.

“I felt confident all day, qualified 4th and was motivated to grab my first podium. While running up with the top 3 during Moto 1 I got tangled up with Cole Thompson around the halfway mark. I ended up salvaging 10th overall. I’ve had a slow start to the season but I’m gaining momentum and excited to regroup and hit the eastern swing!” Keylan Meston #10

Eric Jeffery #28 did not line up for the race this weekend in Minnedosa.

Rockstar Energy support rider Josh Osby had a tough day charging against the rough track conditions in Minnedosa. During Moto 1 Osby had a great holeshot landing him in 2nd position. Osby fought hard to stay with the front of the pack battling back and forth between podium positions. Due to the sloppy track conditions Josh rain into a lapped rider who had gotten stuck in the deep mud. Josh was quite a ways behind the stuck lapper but due to the ruts being deep and demanding it was a challenge to get out and find a different race line. Osby was able to reel in the race leaders which placed him in a podium spot. Osby continued to move forward setting the fastest lap time in 250 pro Moto 1. After that things started to go downhill unfortunately. After a small bobble Osby went down which resulted in a snapped footpeg. After battling to get back into a podium position Josh dealt with heavy roost and ended up getting mud in his eye. Josh was still able to finish in 17th position after riding hard with minimal vision.

In an unfortunate turn of events second Moto’s were cancelled due to the torrential track conditions. Round 3 of the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown series in Minnedosa, Manitoba would end early and positions/ points earned in Moto 1 would consequently be the overall results for Round 3

The Club MX, Traders Racing, Redemption Racing Team would like to once again thank our entire crew for all the hard work they put in. The teams mechanics had their work cut out for them this weekend but were able to make sure that the riders could perform to their best ability despite the weather. We are excited to get to the east rounds and back to our winning ways.

Club MX, Traders Racing, and Redemption Racing team riders Josh Osby, Keylan Meston, and Eric Jeffery rode great all day long to make a statement during round 2. Osby ended up falling just short of an overall podium spot this weekend in Prince George, BC.

Josh Snider, founder of Redemption Racing, lead the Devotion/chapel service after the riders meeting. He continued speaking about our mental strength. That the words that come out of our mouth under pressure reveal what is in our heart. For more depth on the topic, you can listen to the full audio recording here:

Devotion/Chapel from Prince George

Qualifying saw Rockstar Energy Support Rider Josh Osby, with the red plate from Round 1, push hard to grab 2nd place heading into Moto 1. The #10 of Keylan Meston put in some impressive lap times with the series top riders in order to secure 8th during qualifying. Alongside Meston was CTR Motorsports rider Eric Jeffery on the #28 Yamaha who qualified 18th place while continuing to progress throughout the day.

As the gate dropped for 250 Moto 1. Osby started in around 7th place and would stay there for the first lap trying to find a way around the pack in front of him. By the 3rd lap Josh started to move through the pack towards a podium spot. As Osby propelled his CTR Yamaha with help from his Ohlins suspension he was able to steal the final podium spot for Moto 1 and finished 3rd on the box heading into Moto 2. Moto 2 saw Osby round the first lap in 5th place. Continuing to progress, Josh was able to grasp 4th place in Moto 2 landing him 4th overall in Prince George. Josh, among many riders that have attended the last two rounds, are not fond of the concrete starts and are glad to know that they are over with moving forward.

“During Moto 2 we made a fork change and unfortunately it didn’t work the way we wanted it to. We are going to go back to what I know works and come back swinging next weekend. That’s what we have to do” Josh Osby

Keylan Meston qualified 8th place heading into 450 Moto 1. Starting from 9th place Keylan was able to make a few passes to finish 7th place in Moto 1. Between Motos the CTR team made some chassis adjustments to Keylans CTR YZ450F race bike which worked in his favor and allowed him to be more comfortable on the bike throughout Moto 2. During Moto 2 Keylan was able to ride hard up to 8th by mid-Moto and then ultimately finished in 7th place. Meston finished the day with a 7th overall. This was a strong ride for Keylan as he becomes more comfortable on his CTR YZ450F.

CTR Motorsports rider Eric Jeffery went into Moto 1 having qualified 18th earlier in the day. Moto 1 saw Jeffery get a great start, with help from his Hoosier tires, Eric rounded the first lap in 13th place where he continued to ride hard to keep his position. He stayed there for a large majority of the race, ultimately finishing in 15th place. As the gate dropped for Moto 2 Eric started in 18th and rode very consistent to keep that spot all Moto long to the checkered flag. Round 2 allowed Eric to showcase his improvement and smoother riding style, to better his results from round 1. Eric finished the day with a 17th overall and a desire to keep riding hard. Crew Chief Skip Norfolk has made adjustments to Eric’s Yamaha YZ450F race bike very easy with his expert chassis set up and tuning skills.

“[Josh] We let him down as far as the chassis goes, we absolutely missed the set up today. However he’s here for a reason, he wants to win the title and he salvaged what he could get out of it.”

“ We didn’t meet our expectations in the lites class however we continue to build our foundation in the 450 class.”Skip Norfolk (CTR Crew Chief)

CTR Motorsports is ready for Round 3 in Manitoba and is looking forward to getting back to their winning ways in the lites class. We wish the entire CTR Motorsports team good luck this week as they prepare to once again take the points lead in the lites class, and further establish their prominence in the 450 class.

A huge thank you to the whole team as we embark on this newly merged racing effort and continue to work hard throughout the 2019 Rockstar Energy Triple Crown MX Series.

It was a monumental weekend for CTR motorsports as it celebrated its first official Canadian race for the newly merged Club MX, Traders Racing, and Redemption Racing Team. It will definitely be a weekend to remember as Josh Osby finished first overall in the 250 MX2 class on his Yamaha YZ 250F. Osby will be heading into round two with the points lead.

After the riders meeting Josh Snider, founder of Redemption Racing, lead the Devotion/chapel service after riders meeting. He spoke about our mental strength and the difference between our subconscious thinking and our conscience thinking. For more depth on the topic, you can listen to the full audio recording here:

Charging for points in the MX1 450 class was Calgary native, Keylan Meston, riding for Club MX, ATV’s and More, FXR, Hoosier, and Westwoods Apparel. Keylan had an impressive ride during round 1 of the Triple Crown Series. He used his hometown knowledge and Hoosier tires to get off the concrete starting pad to a 2nd place start in Moto 1. He would ride strong up there with the leaders, ultimately finishing in 8th place. As Moto 2 approached, the track had become more and more nasty but it was no issue for Keylan’s Ohlins suspension that performed flawlessly through the rough track conditions. Keylan was able to secure 7th in Moto 2, putting him in the 7th overall for spot for Round 1.

Josh Osby put in a fantastic day of riding and the red plates will set a statement moving forward into the Series. Moto 1 saw Osby charge the first corner in 10th place. By lap 5 he had been pushing his Yamaha YZ250F and made his way into 3rd. He continued to race hard which led to a pass where Osby rode comfortably to take 2nd place in Moto 1. Osby finished the moto satisfied with 2nd place as the overall was the bigger picture in the CTR riders mind. During the first lap of Moto 2, Osby crossed the line in 8th place with a determination to move towards the front. He put his head down and raced hard in order to get into 5th with only two laps to go. Knowing that the overall was within his reach, Osby put his pre season training to work and pushed his way into 2nd place for the MX2 250 overall in Calgary.

Osby heads into Round 2 with the Red Plates, points lead, and motivation to tackle a championship. “I felt great all day. From 1st practise to the end of Moto 2. The bike was working great and I felt awesome on it. I’m looking forward to keeping this confidence going forward
in the coming weeks” Josh Osby

CTR Motorsports second MX2 250 rider, Jayce Pennington, has just recently been cleared from an injury that occurred during the Supercross Series. We should see Jayce joining the team under the Club MX, Traders Racing, Redemption Racing paddock very soon and wish him the best of luck as he gets back to the races!

Eric Jeffery also finished 24-21 for an overall finish of 23rd. As a family man with a full time job, Eric’s results will steadily improve as he races his way into shape and becomes more comfortable on his Yamaha. A huge thank you to all of our sponsors and the whole CTR team for allowing this weekend and the rest of the series to happen. We at CTR motorsports are beyond excited and determined to put down some solid results during this year’s Rockstar Energy Triple Crown Series.

The ClubMX Redemption racing teamattended the last round of the Jetwerx MxTour series at the famous Walton Raceway this past weekend. Despite the rain, the Walton staff worked hard to have the hard pack track in prime condition for race day. With a lot of past success on this particular track, Joey Crown finished 2ndoverall on the day as well as 2ndoverall in the 2018 Canadian outdoor 250 championship. Teammate Josh Osby, had an up and down day while 450 rider, Eric Jeffery went 18-18 for 18thoverall. After the meeting, I shared a devotion about being a new creation in Christ and that as a new creation we are enhanced and limitless. To listen to the full devotion, please click on the following:

Last weekend was pretty stressful forJoey Crown, who was sitting 2ndin the standing, only 3 points behind the leader. Joey qualified 2ndwith some impressive lap times. After a bad crash on the start of moto 1, Joey had to push hard and make numerous passes to work his way up to 8thby the end of the race. Moto 2 was different and Crown got a better start just outside the top-5. He attacked right from the beginning and was in the lead by the 5thlap. After battling for the lead with Dylan Wright, Joey settled for 2nd, giving him 4thoverall on the day. Joey’s multiple wins and other impressive podium performances gave him the 2ndplace overall in the 2018 Jetwerx MX Tour Series Championship.

Josh Osby, did not have the weekend he was hoping for this past Saturday, at the last round of the series. After a great start to the first moto, Josh battled in the top 5, going up to 2ndand finishing in 4thplace. Unfortunately, a crash on the start of Moto 2 set him back, leaving him dead last on lap 1. He eventually crossed the finish line in 12thfor 7thoverall on the day. After getting many holeshots and podiums, Josh leaves Canada with 6thoverall in the series.

Eric Jeffery kept it consistent this weekend, finishing 18-18thfor 18thoverall. Eric had 2 good motos filled with battles with his fellow competitors. After missing a round in Manitoba earlier this season, Jeffery will still finish in the top 15 overall with a great 13thplace in the 2018 Jetwerx MX Tour 450 Championship.
