"Does Obamacare cover butt-kickings?"

Mitt Romney brought his A-Game last night and it was obvious. He was clear and passionate and seemed to suck the charisma out of President Obama with every answer. He was constantly on the offensive, instead of the defensive we have seen him forced to take for much of the campaign. He even got a few laughs out of the crowd. His biggest accomplishment was humanizing himself. The audience across the country saw not just the man in the campaign ads, but the real Mitt Romney.

Obama was a different story. He couldn't keep his direction on many of his answers and seemed to stumble without a teleprompter or written speech in front of him. He wasn't the cool, calm, and collected Obama that we had seen just weeks before at the DNC. He didn't know how to react when hit with serious questions and was pushed onto his heels, forced to play the defensive. He didn't seem like he wanted to be there and even asked the moderator to "move on to another topic" at one time. He failed to make eye contact for the vast majority of the debate and his lack of clarity and body language didn't show well for him.

Round 1 clearly goes to Romney. No one is denying that. MSNBC can't even defend Obama. If Romney learns from this performance and can repeat it in the next few debates, he is sure to sway the majority of the country to back him for President on November 6th.

It would come to no surprise that in the recent weeks a highly discussed topic has been polling data with the election only a few weeks away. Most polls are pointing to an Obama victory, but that has many voters confused as to how an incumbent President with a record as poor as his could possibly be leading.

Many voters are logically claiming that the liberal media is intentionally over-sampling Democrats when releasing this data. This could show a false lead for Obama, or at least give him points that are in reality not his in an attempt to lower GOP morale. Others are saying that this bias is not intentional, but resulting from the use of previous voter turnout numbers, such as 2008, when Democratic enthusiasm was much higher.

Whatever the real story is, Obama is being portrayed as having this election all wrapped up, with Romney too far behind to make any realistic push forward. Republicans and many Independents are not so fast to believe this idea though. Polls are just an educated guess as to what the result will be, and have been wrong in the past.

With realistically nothing but his last four years to run on, Obama shouldn't be leading these polls and the real answer will come on November 6th.

Well, no surprise here. Romney paid almost $2M in taxes, along with more than $4M in charitable donations, on his 2011 income of $13.7M. It looks like Harry Reid has some explaining to do.

The media is also now claiming that Romney actually paid more than he needed to in taxes by not writing off all of his charitable donations. They are somehow trying to make this out to be a negative against him. We'll see how that works out. When we look at charitable donations, we see Romney giving almost 30%, Obama at around 22%, and Biden at...1.5%...ouch.

The Left and the media are continuing to display their complete lack of knowledge on investments and income. They look at Romney's tax rate of 14.1% and scream "fair share". This is investment income though, meaning it was already taxed once and is now being taxed again. Is that fair? Maybe we should stop asking the 47%.

Obama loves the poor! Just as long as they don't interrupt his parties.

Celebrity Obama has been making the rounds lately. Some of his recent antics include showing up on Letterman while snubbing Netanyahu, radio interviews on 9/11, partying with Jay-Z and Beyonce at $40,000 a plate, hitting up Las Vegas while Americans are being murdered, and sending out his celebrity minions to raise money for him.

Of course the mainstream media does not see a problem with this lack of Presidential leadership. They praise it and use it to display the popularity that Obama still holds. They don't seem to care when Obama isn't doing his job, as long as he looks cool.

Somehow, Obama still finds it in himself to call out Romney for his fundraisers and engagements with the wealthy. Obama can hold dinners that cost tens of thousands per plate, but Romney can't hold a private fundraiser? He holds himself to different standards than Romney. It's just another example of his hypocritical personality and detachment from reality.

Democrats are trying to run on a video clip of Mitt Romney at a private fundraiser speaking about the "47%" of people who do not pay federal taxes in the country. He spoke about how they are probably more likely to vote for Obama, as he is focused on expanding entitlements, while Romney is focused on shrinking those programs and working on job creation.

Romney responded to the video saying that the entire clip was not shown and that he was speaking off the "cuff" and should have phrased his comments better. He didn't retract his comments though. He stood by his statement and didn't dance around the issues.

Romney's statements could have been phrased in a more positive manner. That 47% includes not just free-loaders, Mitt, but also the elderly who are living off the social security they have earned their entire life, the unemployed who are actively searching for jobs, and the families on food stamps who are just down on their luck.

Romney isn't known to be the wizard of words that Obama is. Conservatives know what he meant. Liberals are going to stretch this footage as far as they can, and it is up to the Independents to decide how they feel about it all. Sure, this footage will probably be damaging to Romney's campaign, but he stood by what he believes in and that's more than Obama can say.

Obama delivered his 2008 State of...err his Nomination Acceptance speech last night, and it seemed eerily familiar to what we had heard in the past. He made a lot of promises, but gave no plan. He rarely mentioned his previous four years, and almost appeared to have forgotten that he is running for re-election, not election.

His tone has changed slightly though. He knows he hasn't accomplished anything constructive, so he's portraying the last four years as a "base" of sorts for the future that he has "planned". The only problem is that he doesn't have a plan. He wants to add more energy jobs, more teachers, cut the deficit (?), more this, more that. If that's his plan, what has he been doing for four years? His job creation can't even keep up with population growth and he's added nearly $5 trillion to our debt!

The biggest accomplishments Obama and Clueless Joe pushed last night were "saving" General Motors and "killing" Osama bin Laden. Well, boys, the last I knew it was SEAL Team 6 that pulled the trigger and it was Obama who cancelled the raid three times before giving it a go. Also, how many years of intel were they handed in 2008 by the Bush Administration? That was a team effort. And General Motors? Well, they are heading for bankruptcy again, still owe the government billions, and are literally no longer #1. They didn't save anyone, just wasted more money.

GM and bin Laden were just two of the lies delivered by the Democrats last night. Needless to say, I'm sure there will be more than a few critics out there who will claim both Biden and Obama gave the best speech ever and praise them for everything they've done. That's just not true, though. It takes a special kind of person to not see where this country is headed and everything this administration has failed to do.

Investors are busy this time of year, trying to make sense of the 2012 election and how it will affect their money in the short- and long-term. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both offer different views on what it takes for the US economy to succeed, that is no secret. The stock market is a different animal though.

Wonder why the US stock markets are at multi-year highs while our economy is still in the dump? The Dow Jones, S&P 500, and Nasdaq are not just American markets. They are full of multi-national companies that are funded by investors in countries all around the globe. Many of those companies are based in the US and are run by Americans, but they compete in a world economy. That doesn't mean they aren't affected by American politics though.

Obama's plans include increasing the dividend tax on the "1%", meaning they will receive less cash from their investments, and more will go to the government. Will this keep them from investing? Probably not all of them, but many will find other places to put their money. He also wants to increase the overall tax rate on those in the highest brackets. This means less income for them to put into the market as well. He wants to use this increased tax revenue to help the lower class, where he thinks he can empower them to move up in society.

Mitt Romney has a plan for a more rewarding investment environment that will increase the rewards for those who invest. He plans to keep the dividend tax at the same rates as they are now for those making over $200,000, but cutting that tax, as well as the interest and capital gains tax, completely for those in the lower brackets. This strategy will empower the lower classes to not just receive handouts, but to make it easier for them to take responsibility for their future.

Both candidates offer very different solutions. We have seen an example of what Obama plans since he was elected in 2008, but have only heard the outline of Romney's plan. One works to use the income of the upper class to support the lower, while the other empowers all classes to move forward in their lives.

Make no mistake, our politics do not have complete control over the markets. The world will respond when a winner is announced though, and markets will react. Other factors will still be present. With instability still present in the Middle East, the Euro still on the verge of collapse, and the slowdown in Asia, our President has more on his plate than just the US market.

The US President has a large responsibility to the world's economy, but they still don't hold all the cards in the stock markets. Their foreign policies will have just as much push on markets as their economic policies. Only time will tell if the United States can lead the world markets back to prosperity.

Religion has long been a staple in American culture, but is an often avoided subject. The 2012 election has brought the freedom of religion back to light though, with Democrats and Republicans alike going after their opponents' respective religious beliefs. As with any political battle though, hypocrisy is rearing its ugly head.

Barack Obama's religious beliefs have been disputed since he was elected in 2008. He claims to be a Christian, while many, 17% according to the Washington Post, counter his claims with claiming he is a Muslim. Now, we have freedom of religion in this country but there is obviously a disconnect between Americans and Muslims right now.

The facts may never be known, but it is known that Obama's father and stepfather were Muslim and he did study the Koran as a boy. He has often touted Islamic faith and has attacked many pieces of Christian faith and Christianity in the US. He has apologized to many Islamic countries, failing to defend our own, and his foreign-policy has been described as weak in the Middle East, with the continued 9/11 chaos being the most recent example.

When it comes to Romney, it is no secret that he is a Mormon. Some "traditional" Christians don't respect Mormonism, claiming it to be a cult that is more centered around wealth and polygamy than actual beliefs. They tend to conveniently forget that Democrat Harry Reid is also a Mormon.

Democrats are also quick to distance themselves from Obama's former pastor Jeremiah Wright, who has a history of Anti-American and Anti-Jewish comments and beliefs. Obama himself has also tried to erase his past with Wright, even after he was Obama's pastor for 20 years. There are rumors that the Obama administration may have also attempted to pay-off Wright to keep quiet about Obama's past and current beliefs, although this has not been proven.

Needless to say, Democrats are again blatantly displaying their hypocrisy with religion in 2012. They can attack Romney's legitimate beliefs in Mormonism, but Republicans are hateful for even questioning Obama's religious history and beliefs? That seems fair.

In the end, we are still "One Nation, Under God." As much as some people try to fight it, religion will always quietly play a part in our country.

The failed policies of the Obama administration have damaged the US economy greatly, with manufacturing being the biggest target. Obama believes the government needs to be responsible for creating jobs in the country, not the private sector. That has resonated throughout a variety of industries.

Obama's feelings toward manufacturing and business were on display the most when he gave his "you didn't build that" speech, downplaying the jobs and revenue business owners had created and taking credit away from all entrepreneurs. This was a shot to economic confidence. Business owners didn't like what they heard. Obama didn't care and he stuck with what he said, just saying he was taken out of context. This lack of confidence and certainty is forcing many business to prepare for the worst, making cuts where they don't want to make cuts. This means job loss.

This uncertainty is personified with possibilities of "Taxmageddon" and the upcoming "Fiscal Cliff". These scenarios are serious concerns for the manufacturing industry and all US business for that matter. The Obama administration and Democrats alike are planning to deny the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts, raising taxes for almost every American who actually pays taxes and the businesses that employ them. These increased taxes will force business to make cuts to positions, which will then result in forcing them to decrease their output as well.

America used to build things. Our country was full of factories and honest jobs. We need a President who supports jobs and job creators, not one who insults them and discredits their accomplishments. It is no secret that Mitt Romney is wealthy. According to a Daily Mail UK article, In 2010 and 2011 Mitt earned $42 million, paying over $6 million in taxes (yes, he pays taxes, idiots) while also donating $7 million to charity and over $4 million to his church, or 42% of his income in total. The mainstream media finds these figures inconvenient though. They would rather portray the GOP candidate as a rich tax-dodger who is out of touch with the middle-class, while displaying Obama as ordinary, despite his private school education, traveling abroad as a child, communist father and role models, dog eating, socialistic agenda, and millions in current wealth.

Democrats don't seem to appreciate charity without government involvement, but love to push it with their focus on social justice and welfare. They prefer the government to take an individual's money and decide what to do with it, rather than allow them to donate to charities of their choice. They prefer the welfare system over an individual's preference of who is most deserving. They don't want people to think for themselves, but rather force them to allow the government to make their decisions, whatever they may be.

Problems arise when they are expected to contribute to this charity themselves. They claim to love to help the needy, as long as it isn't with their money. They want others to take on this responsibility. Many wealthy Democrats, especially celebrities, don't carry their own weight in charity or even taxes, donating much less than their Republican counterparts in many cases. Many members of Obama's own administration are also guilty of not paying taxes, let alone making charitable donations.

They are blinded by their apparent disagreement with everything Mitt and aren't allowing themselves to look at the real facts. Many have simply given up looking for jobs. Democrats have encouraged this behavior with their all too liberal welfare and unemployment system that puts the survival of the needy on the pocket books of the tax paying middle class and wealthy. Instead of encouraging individuals, Whites included, to better their lives with education and training, they just increase welfare payments and unemployment benefits. Charity can only go so far and it ends up hurting individuals in the end as they become dependent on these systems. Blacks make up a large amount of the welfare system and it is damaging their demographic greatly. The welfare system works as a "safety net", but Democrats have blown it out of proportion.

For supporting Obama so religiously, Blacks are far more worse off since he has become President, even with his focus on their demographic. Unemployment is up and income is down. They have felt the effects of his failed economics more than most. Black voter enthusiasm and support is down this year, but the majority will still cast their ballots for Obama. Why would they continue to support him? Can they not see through his lies, even while they suffer? Are they really afraid to vote against him?

Black conservatives are not afraid and know what they want from a President. Jobs.

Even if individuals are not attacked, I would expect there to still be calamity at both locations. When OWS is involved, windows will be broken, cars will be damaged, garbage cans will be thrown, someone will probably defecate on a lawn, and an Occupier might cry or something.

Swing states are called swing states for a reason. They swing elections. They aren't deep red or deep blue, they're purple. Battles are won and lost there. Their populations aren't definitely backing one candidate over the other yet. Candidates know to pay more attention to these states because they know that they can have the biggest influence working for their votes, knowing they've either already gained or lost other states' votes.

This election is very close. Swing states are going to play an even larger role in November than normal. Polls have been shifting sporadically already, only in August, so the election is still anyone's race. When looking at the support for Obama compared to Romney, the latter has been gaining more lately.

Although polls differ from source to source, many have reported that Romney has recently overtaken or tied Obama in Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Colorado, Ohio, Virginia, and Florida. Although these polls do fluctuate, the Obama camp should be worried. When campaign season began, it appeared that Obama would have many of these states locked up, specifically Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Florida, but that has not been the case.

Recent announcements have helped swing Romney into the lead in many of these states. The announcement of Paul Ryan as the VP candidate, as well as the recall victory of Scott Walker have helped him make Wisconsin a fight. The elderly population in Florida are also flocking to Ryan, 50% favorability and only 35% unfavorability for him with seniors, with his take on healthcare as compared to Obamacare. Michigan, home to General Motors, was supposed to be a lock for Obama after his bailout debacle, but with GM nearing bankruptcy again, the state has woken up to his failures.

Citizens United seems to have another winner on their hands with "The Hope and the Change," documenting the Democratic and Independent voters who were duped and mislead by Obama's 2008 vision of "Hope and Change" for the USA. It hasn't worked. People know it hasn't worked. Some still blindly stand by his side, but many have realized they made a mistake by voting for him.

This is a film that highlights the issues that Conservatives try to discuss everyday. There are a lot of people who have come to their senses about the mysterious candidate they followed in 2008, and I don't believe they have been vocal enough in this campaign. "The Hope and the Change" should bring their views to light and hopefully inform many more on the issues that Obama refuses to address and the problems he has caused this country.

This 60 minute documentary follows the daily lives of hard-working Democrats and Independents through unscripted and unrehearsed interviews. Our diverse cast encompasses a broad cross-section of America’s racial and socio-economic spectrum and comes from seven swing states that experts say will decide the 2012 presidential election. Viewers will see how their nation's economy and society has changed over the past four years under the policies of President Obama.

The award-winning team of Producer David N. Bossie and Writer/Director Stephen K. Bannon traveled to Colorado, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia to search out these authentic American stories from citizens who have lost faith in their President.
