Quarterly Activities Report

During the quarter the Company:

Secured an option to acquire the high grade Mount Marion Lithium Project, located approximately 40km south of Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.
Acquired the Nimbus Silver Project and Processing Plant in Kalgoorlie for A$2.25M. The plant offers a long term milling solution for the Company’s high-grade Sand Queen Gold Mine operations.
Signed an Option and Joint Venture Agreement on the Bell Rock Range Project with Anglo American Exploration (Australia) who can earn 75% of Nickel – Copper – PGE rights by spending A$3m.
Completed a $6.4M Placement and opened an underwritten Share Purchase Plan for $4.5m, which closed in October oversubscribed.

Lithium powered car sets new distance record of 501km

"Tesla Roadster travels 313 miles on a single charge in what appears to be new world record.

"The Tesla Roadster is the first production automobile to use lithium-ion battery cells and the first production EV with a range greater than 200 miles (320 km) per charge. Tesla has delivered about 900 Roadsters to customers so far."

Drill results from the Mt Finnerty Iron JV

Drilling at the FIN9 prospect (24 holes; 3,364 metres) has confirmed BIF-hosted iron (goethitic) mineralisation over a strike length of about 550 metres. Several of the iron-enriched BIF intercepts include sections with grades in excess of 58% Fe (83% Fe2O3 equivalent), as follows:

The RC drilling programme targeted extensions to goethitic iron mineralisation in banded iron formations (BIF) at the FIN9, FIN10 and FIN11 prospects. These are three of the more advanced prospects along the NNW-SSE trending central spine of BIFs that traverses the full length of the Mt Finnerty project.

Mount Marion Lithium Project to start-up in 2010

Reed Resources and Mineral Resources have reached a farm-in agreement for the development of the Mount Marion Lithium Project in Western Australia’s goldfields region.

Mineral Resources is to complete a feasibility study with a view to:

build, own and operate the processing facilities;
fund all development costs
and operate the project,

to earn 40% of net profit from the operation with accumulated development and operational costs being repaid from future operations.

Reed will retain the balance of net profit (60%) and the right to purchase all Spodumene produced.

Based on the current timetable, Mineral Resources will mobilise processing plant and equipment to Nimbus site in Q2 2010, with first product shipments expected in Q3 2010.

Initial production rate is expected to be 17,000 tonnes per month of +6.5% Li₂O concentrate.

Reed retains 100% ownership of Sand Queen Gold Mine

Reed and Kingsrose have agreed to terminate the Production Joint Venture effective June 1, 2010.

Reed will be entitled to 100% of production from June 1, 2010.

Reed will pay Kingsrose A$1M in cash and A$2M in shares.

Reed will also aquire the associated mining assets and infrastructure for A$1M cash.

This will allow Reed to expand production from the underground operations as well as to potentially exploit shallow open-pit resources.

The Bell Rock Range Project is prospective for Ni-Cu sulphide and PGE mineralisation

An Option and Joint Venture Agreement to explore the Bell Rock Range Project has been signed with one of the worlds largest diversified mining and natural resources groups - Anglo American.

Anglo American Exploration (Australia) can earn 75% of the project by spending A$3m.

AAE is becoming the most active explorer in the Musgraves.

The project hosts a highly prospective 30km long basal ultramafic never subject to systematic exploration.
