There are various kinds of personal computer instruction that serve the intent of employee education/progress. Just one is general computer capabilities. In buy to use the a variety of computer applications that are required, personnel of today should have excellent general laptop capabilities. This typically encompasses the essentials, World wide web, E-mail, term processing, and the use of spreadsheet programs. Understanding of database plans may well also be needed and definitely won’t harm. There are a range of courses taught in these parts that assortment from teaching the basic principles to providing trainees the possibility to strengthen capabilities they by now have.

Do you seriously want to build muscle without weights? This is something which some people will say is impossible, but it can definitely be done if you take the time to learn the right methods. Here are the basics you need to be able to build muscle without weights, from right now.

1-Basics
It is even possible to build muscle without weights with the traditional simple forms of exercise exercises which need no special equipment, and which can be done anywhere. These include such exercises as sit ups, press ups etc. These are no going to turn you from a weakling into a champion bodybuilder, but if you are not used to exercising your body, they can be a great way to start. As with any form of exercise, you need regular workouts to see results.

2-Arms
Although these general exercises are beneficial, to see real results you will need to concentrate on specific muscle groups. This is the best way to build muscle without weights. Building up the biceps, which is a common starting point amongst aspiring bodybuilders, is not easily done without weights. Probably the best way of going about this is just to use something in place of the weights, such as cans of food. Put the cans into a bag, and you have a makeshift weight to lift.

3-Chest
Every bodybuilder wants to work their chest, as this is what gives the appearance of a well built body. To effectively build muscle without weights for your chest, the muscles called the pectoral muscles, one of the simple possibilities is to make regular press ups harder to do. One easy way of accomplishing this is to put your feet up on a chair, making all the weight go in to your arms. You will find these a lot harder to do than the standard press up, so be prepared.

4-Shoulders
The shoulders will definitely benefit from basic exercises such as press ups, and even more so from inclined press ups. One way to go beyond this is to add pull ups. So many people find these exercises hard to perform, so they definitely have the potential to build muscle without weights. To get the very best results from your pull ups, you will need to widen your grips, so that the weight is concentrated in the shoulder area. This will make sure that the effort you are putting in gets the best possible result, by being directed to the right area. It is hard work, though.

It is certainly not difficult to start to build muscle without weights, and you can start this way without needing to invest in gym memberships or home equipment. Click the links below for some great extra resources.

You just spent eight hours making reports, filing papers, fielding phone calls, and placating your boss at the office.

When you get home, do you rest? Not really. Theres a dinner to prepare, stories to share with your husband, and doing homework with the kids.

Such a scenario is and will still be typical among working mothers, who balance the countless demands of career and home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The problem with this is that the children are the ones who are always at the losing end.

Why?

Because with parents, especially mothers, who are always busy with their work, they tend to take their children for granted especially on the aspect of education. They have this propensity to submit their children to school and believe that the institution could provide the best education for their children.

However, in todays changing world, some parents realize that sending their children to school is no longer the best way in providing them the education that their children need. Thats why they have opted for home schooling in order to give their children the kind of learning that they want for their children.

In home schooling, most parents devote their time and try to provide their children the best education at home. They know that they are the ones who can provide the appropriate teaching approach for their children because they know their children best.

However, it does not necessarily mean that parents should devote more time to home schooling than they would do with their other chores at home.

It is true that home schooling needs time in order to come up with the best teaching approach that your children need. It is also through a committed schedule that you can identify the appropriate tactics that you need to employ in order to teach your children well. But it does not mean that you have to give your whole time to teaching your children through home schooling programs.

On its basic concept, home schooling uses the one-to-one teaching method; hence, it needs lesser time compared to the typical classroom setting. This is because with a more individualistic approach in teaching, most children would be able to grasp the concept easier and faster.

Then again, the amount of time to be allotted in home schooling will still vary depending on the many factors that may affect the progress of the teaching process.

Here is a list of some factors that should be considered in order to devise the proper amount of time needed in home schooling:

1. Learning style of the children

There are instances wherein the childrens learning style might affect the time requirement in home schooling. For instance, if your child can learn things at a much faster rate, then you only have to devote lesser time. However, if your child needs more time to grasp things that are being taught to him, then you have to devote more time in explaining to him or her the concept of the subject matter you are teaching.

2. The type of methods used

There are various teaching methods available for home schooling. Each has its own teaching approach; hence, they may vary on the time needed for the parents to devote on each program.

3. The number of children within the family

Just like in a typical classroom setting, where the number of students is generally bigger, having many children in the family would mean longer hours of teaching. This is because you have to incorporate in students what the subject matter is all about, and if one of them could not yet understand the idea, then you really have to explain the concept all over again.

4. The age of the child

The younger the child, the more time that is needed in home schooling. This is because younger children have the tendency to grasp the things being taught at a much slower pace compared to those who are already at higher levels.

On its total view, the time needed to commit in home schooling may be affected with these factors but the important thing is to have quality time for your children or students. It is not a matter of how much time you can devote in home schooling but more on how you have provided the time in teaching your children.

Climate change is an amazingly simple phrase for such a complex subject. Following, we have a go at defining climate change in todays terms.

Climate Change What is it?

In the current day lexicon of scientists, climate modification isnt really a term of use anymore. The reason for this is that we have come to understand that the effect of the changes we make to our environment will increase the temperature in many locations on the planet, but will also cool a few places. In light of this, the thing you know of as climate modification is actually referred to as global climate change. Over all, however, the world is definitely warming.

We need a simple definition for climate change in relation to the warming of the planet, one that gets the gist without excluding the simplicities. The simplest and most accurate definition is that climate change is the effect greenhouse gases have on the earths climate. Greenhouse gases include, but are not limited to, carbon dioxide and methane. While this sounds like a simple definition, there are a couple of key things to realize.

First, climate change is both a natural phenomena and one created by man. Put another way, greenhouse gases are a natural part of the biosphere and would exist if man did not. Indeed, they are a critical component to the existence of life on this planet. If greenhouse gases didnt exist, the temperature on planet earth would average zero degrees! Naturally occurring gases, however, keep the temperature at a much more livable 59 degrees.

So, if climate change occurs naturally, what is the big panic about? The problem we are facing is the volume of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. These gases act as thermal blankets for the atmosphere. The more gas in the atmosphere, the thicker the blanket and the less heat escapes. Over the last 80 years, we have been pumping massive amounts of greenhouse gases into the sky. At the same time, we have been reducing forestation around the planet, the primary plant collection that sucks greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere. This double whammy is starting to show negative results, the increased heating of our world.

The ultimate question with climate alteration is what will happen as the planet heats up. We are already seeing signs with the retreat of the glaciers. Glacier National Park, for instance, is going to have to be renamed since it has already lost 65 percent of all of its glaciers! While the exact end result of these environmental changes is not clear, we can expect major climatic changes over the next 80 years.

SAT importance has changed dramatically over the past few years. Many students strive to score as high as possible, because a high SAT score may translate into acceptance, and in some cases, scholarship money.

The basics of testing can be learnt quite easily; however the focus of this article is whether spending several thousand dollars for a prep course is ideal. At some private schools, more than half the students dont think twice about spending thousands on a good coaching company.

Do you need a prep course? It depends on how you learn best, and what is your motive for taking up such a course. Most of the techniques in prep courses are already mentioned in prep books that are sold in bookstores for thirty dollars.

Top students seldom gain much from coaching. The effortless insight that marks the best standardized test-takers cannot be taught. On the other hand, a student who lacks motivation may not benefit from a SAT prep course either. For diligent students, the benefits from a prep course will vary. If you are the type who is well-organized and initiative, youd probably do as well with self-coaching software and books.

If you are enthusiastic about a prep course, by all means, take up one. If you believe that a prep course will raise your score, chances are that it will. Other types of students who may benefit from a prep course include students who learn best with adult direction. They often need help in staying focused, so a prep course will be a good idea. It depends on how you learn.

Before you sign up for a test prep course, be sure you research thoroughly what exactly you will be taught. Meet the instructor firsthand. Dont pay too much attention to guarantees; they are not reliable indicator of how effective a particular course is. Its always a good idea to try to take up a prep course BEFORE the first time you take the SAT. That way youll avoid a sudden spike in your score an event likely to raise suspicions in the admissions offices which is the result of a cram course.

Motivation is a tricky thing, isn’t is? If you are one of the brave souls trying to learn a foreign language by yourself you’ll be sure to run out of motivation some time. This is a collection of my best tricks to help you complete what your started.

Track you progress.
Make a chart or find a calendar. Mark you chart every time you finish a session or have studied for a set amount of time. Place your chart in a place you can’t avoid. Make a commitment to look at your chart every day. This seems simple, but it’s incredible how much it helps your motivation.

Don’t overdo it.
Learning a new language isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. If you start out full of fresh energy it is important not to burn it all at once. Limit you study time to one lesson or one hour a day. After you have reached your daily goal – Stop. That way you conserve motivation and energy for the nest day. Portion you energy to last. This allows you look forward to your next lesson and finish the race strong.

Get support.
Online or off-line there are groups who share your goal. Join an online forum or find some similarly minded people in your community. You will find that there are other people who are going through what you are going through. Some will even have been through it. Your support group will keep you going when you want to stop. Not to mention all the good advice, moral support and fun you will have.

Visualize you reason.
Get real clear on why you are learning a new language. Make at picture in your head of what will be different in your life when you reach your goat. What will it get you in the end. Great travel experiences, a promotion, new friend or something else? Find a picture in a magazine or online to represent your goal. Make sure that you look at it every day. Post it on your bathroom mirror, place it on your desk or hang it by your bed. Make sure you look at it every day.

Get a goal buddy.
Keeping you motivation high on your own is though. If you find somebody with the same goal grab the opportunity to ask if they want to partner with you. This can work even if you don’t share goals. Just encourage and push each other to succeed. Having someone to answer to and who answers to you adds a whole other layer to your motivation.

The one minute trick.
You know those days when you can’t find a glimmer of motivation. Do a one minute effort. That’s right. You can find the energy for just one minute, can’t you. Just get started with the intention of working for 60 seconds. Once you start, it you will keep going. This works like magic.

Set mini goals.
There is a trick to doing this right. Think back to a time when you quit something before you reached your goal. How long did you work on it before you quit? Your mini goal is to keep going half as long. When you get there give yourself a reward. Go watch a movie, eat a nice meal and pat yourself on the back. Then decide on your next mini goal. This will ensure that you never reach your quitting point.

Plan your rewards.
Split your large goals into smaller goals. If your language program is 30 lessons long you can plan a reward after every 5th lesson you finish. Write out a plan and decide what the reward will be after every smaller goal is reached. Rewards can be anything you like, big or small. Make your reward a small celebration!

Get a coach.
Learning a language by your self can be a lonely adventure. Even if it’s just once a month a session with a language trainer or tutor will boost your motivation big time. This is will also show you that your skills are growing and that your progress is real. Check your local newspaper or college for adds. Nothing is better than finding a native speaker of your language who is willing to coach you.

With all of us feverishly trying to keep up with the latest fads Hollywood exports, finally there is a fashion tip that will truly enhance our lives.

Recently, Tom Cruises former sidekick Nicole Kidman was quoted by the Associated Press as saying: I wish that I hadnt been born with red hair and fair skin as she is concerned about the amount sun exposure and its direct link to an increased risk for skin cancer. She should know, too. After all, she hails from Australia where skin cancer is an exploding epidemic.

Subsequently, Australia is the leading the world in heightening the quality of skin cancer prevention education and proactive sun safety behavior. Truth be told, skin cancer is the worlds most common cancer. Americans are no exception to the rule either! Every hour someone in the United States dies from skin cancer, according to the American Academy of Dermatology (www.AAD.org). Perhaps, Kidmans example will encourage the propagation of a new fashion wave – sun protective clothing.

Whereas, sun protective clothing (also known as ultraviolet radiation protective clothing; or UVR) is widely used in Australia, Europe, and South Africa, it is still relatively unknown here in the U.S. Sun protective clothing, however, is a highly effective option for individuals to protect themselves from the harmful affects of UV-rays all day, every day.

If you consider that the average white 100% cotton t-shirt is equivalent to only a SPF 6 (which provides about 14% worth of sun protection), clearly there is a need for light-weight, functional, stylish, economical, clothing that also provides exceptional protection from over-exposure to the sun.

On the other hand, sun protective clothing blocks out more than 97.5% of UV rays (which is an equivalent to a SPF 30 sunscreen). This is considered by the Skin Cancer Foundation to be the best of the best as it were when it comes to effective sun protection. If you consider that a SPF 20 sunscreen is allowing only five out of every 100 UV protons to reach your skin; it is 95% protective, than sun protective clothing is quite simply the most revolutionary new product available on the market today for those looking for a viable, yet extremely effective, way to protect themselves and their loved ones from sun damage.

Dermatologist-oncologist, Sancy A. Leachman of the Tom C. Mathews Jr. Familial Melanoma Research Clinic at The Huntsman Cancer Institute (www.HuntsmanCancer.org) recommends that everyone use a sunscreen with a sun protection factor of 15 for daily, year-round use; SPF 30 is recommended if we are outdoors between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. when UV rays are most intense.

SPF 30 sunscreen is also highly recommended for those of us who possess multiple risk factors for skin cancer such as blonde or red hair, blue or green eyes, fair or sensitive skin, many atypical moles, and even family history of skin cancer like Nicole Kidman. Wearing sun protective clothing, coupled with proper year-round use of sunscreens, is the quite simply the best protection available, Sancy says. And her colleagues in the field of dermatological medicine agree.

Appropriate sun apparel should offer effective protection against both short term and long term photo damage [such as wrinkling, skin cancer, and even cataracts], says Dr. J.M. Mentor, who also teaches dermatology at the Morehouse School of Medicine (www.MSM.edu). In other words, effective sun safety apparel ought to protect against both UV-B and UV-A rays, and sun protective products such as those specially manufactured by Stingray in Australia, do exactly that.

Stingray is the original sun protection clothing company to specialize in UV protection swimwear and daily attire for children and adults. As a result of listening to the needs of our many customers, we are able to deliver products that take the sting out of the suns rays, says Wendy Lister, Managing Director of Stingray. [People] are now getting the best possible UV protection. Those living at high altitudes or near the equator, have the highest risk in for skin cancer, according to the American Academy of Dermatology.

Glen and Liisa Tomson, both natives of South Africa, know first-hand the devastating toll sun damage can take on our health. As such, they have recently partnered up with The Cancer Crusaders Organization (www.CancerCrusaders.org) in a five-year international skin cancer prevention education campaign called Only Skin Deep? This program aims to actively engage parents and young adults in the fight against the worlds most common, yet preventable, cancer.

We see a great and pressing need for increased awareness and education here in the U.S., says Glen Tomson. Too many times my wife and I will be at the pool, and see all these children running around sun burnt. Often, well offer shade [clothing] and sunscreen to the parents so they can better protect their children. Glen and Liisa, in addition to being entrepreneurs and experts, are parents and realize the importance of instilling the practice of sunscreen usage and the wearing of sun protective clothing at a young age so as to develop a lifelong habit of sun safety behavior.

In fact, the American Academy of Dermatology reports that sustaining just one severe blistering sunburn before age 18 increases ones likeliness of a future skin cancer diagnosis by an estimated 60%. In other words, 80% of ones lifetime skin damage occurs in the first 18 years of life. This is of particular concern the mountain states where high elevation exposes us to more intense UV irradiation.

Dr. Leachman illustrates it best by saying, Someone standing on the summit of Mt. Timpanogos [Utah] will burn 66-to-77 times faster than someone standing on a beach in Los Angeles [California]. Lechman adds, Skin cancer incidence is increasing at an alarming rate here in the United States, so it is important that we all take proper precautions to protect ourselves.

The AAD solidifies Leachmans remarks, reporting 1.3-million Americans will be diagnosed with some form of skin cancer this year. The risk is real, Leachman says. There is a real need for people to take necessary precautions and to teach patients how to advocate for themselves [in reducing their risk for skin cancer].

Here’s an interesting question.

How does a hyper paranoid maniac like JK Ellis create a cult like following and still manage to protect himself from over-exposure?

Think about it!

I think I’ve developed a strategy that could be effective. Of course, a strategy is dynamic, not rigid so it will change to the situation.

1) Use this blog.
With a fringe subject like “How Win Friends and Influence People By Controling Their Minds” it’s only going to appeal to a select few. These are the unique individuals I want who can see past the surface of things with a deep sense of curiosity.

2) Give them good information.
Goodness knows I try. Free PDF download, etc. I’d give more if I could.

3) Make them jump through hoops.
That’s just to make sure only the most curious and qualified can be part of the elite.

4) Reward the loyal, ignore the disgruntled.
Paying attention to those who call me paranoid and crazy is a waste of time. I already know that information. Instead I’ll find a way to bring those close to me closer and give them even more.

5) Create a hierarchy that rewards the most loyal.
This is going to take some more thought, but the simplest way is to give bonuses, information, acknowledgement and praise to those people who are nice to me, buy my products and say kind things to me.

Of course these are just my early thoughts on the subject. There is probably more.

Got any ideas I can add to the list?

JK Ellis

When financial crisis is on the horizon, its time to find a professional qualified to help you through the trying process of financial rehabilitation. Consider the following points when making the decision to enlist a bankruptcy attorney:

1.	Free Consultation

For bankruptcy legal advice, if a bankruptcy attorney requires a consultation fee, keep looking for an attorney. Any bankruptcy attorney that truly values his clients will not insist on a consultation fee.

2.	Experience and Reputation

Attorneys specialize in everything from corporate bankruptcy to criminal law, so it only makes sense that you choose the correct bankruptcy attorney. This, as well as the prospective attorneys personal experience can be verified at a consultation (see number 1 above).

An experienced bankruptcy attorney will understand local rulings and know how to work with local creditor attorneys and judges. All attorneys get their experience in large part from working their clients cases. Find out how much of a guinea pig you may be before deciding on an attorney.

3.	Attorney-Client Interaction and Relationship

You have to be able to talk with your attorney and feel understood in order to accomplish a successful bankruptcy outcome. A prospective bankruptcy attorney should be willing to answer your questions. You should definitely feel comfortable with the attorney that you choose to work with.

4.	Size of Law Firm

It can be advantageous to choose an attorney that is affiliated with a large law firm. In many situations, bigger, more reputable law firms are more likely to have just the attorney available for your particular situation. This can be important if youre pressed for time. Also, you are more likely to receive top priority at a larger law firm.

5.	Credit Restoration

After filing bankruptcy and setting up repayment plans as necessary, you will also want to rebuild your credit. Its important to choose an attorney that will assist you in rebuilding your financial life. He or she should be willing and able to offer assistance and tools to directly rehabilitate your credit standing and preparedness.

6.	Location

Last, but not least: location, location, location. I hate being the bearer of bad news, but in most legal situations, particularly something as grueling as bankruptcy, the odds are pretty good youll be spending more time at your attorneys office than you may first expect. Then again, more and more legal transactions are taking place via electronic communication of various kinds. If this suits your needs, by all means, utilize the resource.

Once again, Scuola Leonardo da Vinci, one of Italy’s largest provider of in-country Italian courses in Italy, is announcing the new programs for the year 2006 presenting innovative plans to promote the learning of the Italian language. Now, universities, colleges, community colleges, high schools and students worldwide are invited to read about our wide choice of Italian language and cultural courses.

This year following the great success of the inaugural Academic School Year in 2005, Scuola Leonardo da Vinci will feature the Academy School Year course in Italy in all its school centers (Florence, Milan, Rome and Siena).

The “Academic Year” is a 32 week language and culture course for students who wish to experience living and studying in Italy. The course combines not only language courses with Italian culture classes at the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci but the syllabus also incorporates the fundamental elements of level C2 of the European Language Portfolio. “All in all, the course offers students the opportunity to see at first hand the various aspects of Italys rich history and culture”, said Chiara Poggi, the Head of Studies of the Italian School in Florence.

Needless to say, lessons are taught only in Italian from the very start. “At the end of the course, the student is ready to write a final dissertation on a topic related to Italian culture (art, history and business Italian)”, said Wolfango Poggi, director of the Italian language school Leonardo da Vinci in Milan.

Created to provide an opportunity for motivated and deserving students to experience the magic of study abroad one year, the Academic Year Program in Italy aims to:

progress from the Beginner and/or the Elementary level to the Intermediate stages, working on the basics of Italian grammar (articles, prepositions, present and past tenses) to more complex subjects such as the subjunctive.

develop speaking and listening skills through daily conversation classes.

give an introduction to the everlasting beauty and charm of Italian art.

take you through the world of business and current affairs and the world of fashion: a sector where Italian artists are at the leading edge, where we aim to reveal some of the secrets behind the Made in Italy label.

allow you to understand the mixture of tradition and change which characterizes contemporary Italy.

When asked about her experience, Sanda S., who studied in Milan with Scuola Leonardo da Vinci last year, commented: “I was delighted at the chance to travel to Italy and attend Scuola Leonardo da Vinci for 32 weeks. I believe the programme helped me to improve my Italian in a friendly and supportive environment. I really enjoyed meeting people from around the world. Being able to study in Italy also helped me gain an understanding of the Italian culture. It was certainly an experience I will never forget and intend to repeat in the future.”

Program details and supporting information, including students opinions and histories on the Academic Year Experince in Italy, may be found on the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Web site at http://www.scuolaleonardo.com/gap-year-in-italy.php. Next Starting dates, as written on the Web Site, are 02 January, 08 May and 25 September 2006.

For 29 years, Scuola Leonardo da Vinci, the market leader in in-country Italian language courses, has been exclusively dedicated to the teaching of Italian to foreigners. Each year the company welcomes students from 60 countries to its schools in Florence, Milan, Rome and Siena. The companys Web site, http://www.scuolaleonardo.com, an Italian language portal offering informations and pages of Italian language courses, culture and resources on 12 languages, receives more than 3,000 visits daily.
