Thank you to Dorothy May at <a href="http://www.kcpipeband.org/" target="_blank">St. Andrews Kansas City Pipes and Drums</a> whom last evening took her next batch of students through the basics of how to hold their practice chanters, where to place one's fingers, and how to play up and down the scale. How I got here, God only knows, but He does know, and I have just gone with it. I acknowledge a coming out of my underlying enjoyment for many eons of the Great Highland Bagpipes (GHB) and thought perhaps I could learn and enjoy making that sound too. And I don't want to forget my new found friends on the Internet, namely <a href="http://www.cnaturalmusic.com/Home_Page.html" target="_blank">Andrew Douglas</a> whose <a href="http://www.pipersdojo.com/pipers-dojo-tutor/" target="_blank">downloable tutorials</a> now adorn my MacBook and iPad and I hope to be watching these too to encourage my learning.
