Social Networking Website for Skyy Spirits

Hey Guys- Here's my latest fun project! I created a really fun social networking site for the Skyy Spirits Infusions Ginger launch. They wanted a private website where their employees & various distributors located country-wide could log in and interact. They are also running a contest for best promotion, best cocktail, best event, etc. So they can log in to this website and post their contest entries.

The site was quite the challenge to design at first, but it's been so fun seeing them interact on it!

More portfolio designs for my FIDM client, Juli! All of the portfolio pages below are her inspiration pictures and designs. I just recreated some of the more complicated designs for her, as well as laid out the portfolio page.


I created this tradeshow booth design on the left in Illustrator by using her hand drawing pictured on the top right.

Here's a runway design for Dior that I created using her model pictured below.
The perfume bottle on the right is Juli's design.

This is a very unique runway design that I mocked up in Illustrator after seeing Juli's design below.

Logo Designs : The Stamford Wife

I just started working with one of my all time favorite bloggers: The Stamford Wife. Teresa Meyer, the woman behind the blog, is such a talented interior decorator. She's currently developing a website/porfolio to display images of all of her designed spaces. I can't wait to visit her finished website. Anyways, we bumped heads and came up with some pretty cool logo designs for her Interior Design business:

Teresa really like the last design and she was wondering if I could somehow make it look like dental molding. I brained stormed and came up with these:

None of then spoke to either of us though, so we decided to stick with the orginal one.

Waterfront Email Design

Porfolio Designs

I just recently started working with a really talented student at FIDM in San Francisco. She's studying visual communications, which basically helps her create displays and layouts for retail spaces. She has some great ideas, that's for sure! Unfortunately, when it came time to create her portfolio, she didn't quite have the graphic design skills she wanted to make her porfolio look as sharp as she would have liked. On the up side, her teachers made it clear that using a graphic designer to help with the portfolio was A-OK. Here's where I enter the equation. I've had so much fun helping Juli with her projects, it's such a change from the usual!

Skyy is so WICKED!

Skyy, Midori and Wicked all got together and had a party! Here are the drink menus I created to celebrate the event:

The Wicked people were very particular about how they wanted the sign to look like. They didn't want the usual Skyy look. They wanted their official logo and witch to be used, but unfortunately didn't give me a vector file to use...just a very low-res jpg. So, I had to recreate the witch & logo in Illustrator. The background was also hand drawn. Because they wanted the sign to look more like one of their advertisements, I took the picture they gave me (below) and recreated the skyline & bridge (pictured above).

Business Cards for an Old Friend

An old coworker/friend of mine looked me up a couple of days ago. She's in need of some business cards for her new business: Reiki. How fun! Here are a few mock-ups I came up with. We'll see what she likes/doesn't like!

New Design for Nickerbait!

I just revamped the Nickerbait website :) The revamp was mostly from the back end, but you'll probably notice the fun pink horseshoe background first!

I moved the shopping cart over from Quick Cart (Go Daddy) to Big Cartel. I love the shopping cart design options over at Big Cartel, you can customize to your hearts content. And the size of your product pictures are so much larger, LOVE it!
