Local business networking group GIN is a keen supporter of Winston’s Wish and a number of its members will be taking part in the Sunrise Walk on 25 September 2010 at Cheltenham Racecourse. Reflecting the unique nature of the networking group, and the fact it is very much a team of businesses working together, the members of GIN taking part in the walk will be doing so whilst being connected together via a sailing rope.

The GIN founders believe it is vitally important that members of its group try to help and support the local communities in which they live and operate their businesses hence its decision to work with Winston’s Wish and support the Sunrise Walk.

Charlie Smith of Parsons Flooring is one of the co-founders of GIN and speaking about the Sunrise Walk he said,

"We hope to have around 20 members of GIN taking part in the walk and aim to raise several thousand pounds for Winston’s Wish, a charity that all of us within GIN are passionate about supporting. The Sunrise Walk promises to be a fun day and one that our members are keen to bring their families along to as well, so we cannot wait to get attached to the rope and get started".

The Gloucestershire walk will begin and end at Cheltenham Racecourse and will take a circular route, along stone paths, farm tracks and through rural terrain. The route is undulating, including several ascents and there are a number of stiles along the way around. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside, Malvern Hills and nearby towns along with numerous points of interest are assured.

Speaking about GIN’s involvement in the Sunrise Walk, Sally Davies Regional Fundraising and Events Manager said,

“We are really pleased that such a large group from GIN are taking part in the walk, being joined together they will definitely be a talking point on the day! With only a couple of weeks left to go until the walk we are looking forward to the day and hope that it will be a truly special event for everyone. There is still time to register your place at the walk; sign up today to make sure you don’t miss out on all the fun”.
Many of us enjoy a few drinks during the party season, but sometimes it seems that we are not so good at knowing when to stop, which isn’t great or very healthy during weeks of festivities! Georgia Foster, author/creator of The Drink Less Mind (book/CD and workshop), regularly changes people’s over-drinking behaviour using hypnosis, and has launched a special 21 Day Drink Less Mind Teleseminar programme. Now it's even easier to learn how to drink less and, as you can participate in this in the privacy of your home when it suits you, no one will know you are taking care of yourself in this sensitive way. www.georgiafoster.com (This programme is for stress drinkers).

With more and more people choosing to access therapies using new technology, international clinical hypnotherapist, Georgia Foster, is also becoming well known as The Virtual Hypnotherapist and is making her programmes available to people anywhere in the UK or world, without them having to travel to her workshops or private clinics in London.

With binge drinking on the increase, people from all walks of life, irrespective of age, gender, job, salary or social status, are privately thinking “I’m drinking too much and I think I am drinking for the wrong reasons.” Acting at the forefront of educational and psychological change to DRINK LESS, Georgia can help you to understand the ups and downs of over-drinking behaviour – exploring why we do it, keep on doing it, and how we can get control of it.

“This programme is about learning how to confidently drink less so that you can enjoy drinking when you want to, rather than ‘having to’ without guilt, anxiety and fear. This programme is a self-esteem course too, where you are learning how to de-stress without a glass in your hand!” Georgia Foster

So, if you drink to de-stress, to alleviate social shyness, 'drink your date attractive' or you are just plain worried about how much you drink, then this programme is for you. The Drink Less Mind programme will re-educate your mind consciously and unconsciously to help reduce your drinking - most heavy drinking is an emotional habit/response that can be un-learnt.

•	On the course you will take part in 3 telephone conference calls – where you can be completely anonymous if you wish - and Georgia will talk about the power of the programme and teach you the conscious and unconscious tools to drink less alcohol
•	You will receive a brand new self-hypnosis recording after each session that you can download
•	Live Drink Less Mind chat room where you can ask Georgia any questions you like at the end of each session

The cost is just £99.00 for the 21 day programme. That’s £4.71 a day (or about the cost of a glass of wine in a bar!) To join or to book the sessions visit www.georgiafoster.com, or call Tel: 0845 660 4396. All UK callers will not be charged for the teleseminar calls if you call from a landline.

Says Georgia: “I believe that social shyness, stress, anxiety and low self-esteem are major players when it comes to drinking too much and this includes people from all walks of life who simply don’t believe they can relax enough without having ‘that’ drink. There are others who feel they are not intelligent enough or funny enough unless they have another drink. I’ll show that you can break this vicious circle, and your mind and body will thank you for it!”

The first ever North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival is being held, to celebrate all that is good in Norfolk’s thriving food and drink industry.

The North Norfolk Business Forum has created the free event, which is being held in the beautiful courtyard at Holkham Hall, home to the Earl of Leicester. The festival will bring together almost fifty local suppliers of food and drink, all of whom will bring their produce for visitors to sample and buy.

In addition, central to the entertainment at the Food Festival is the Food Theatre which will see ten chefs from the region’s finest hotels and restaurants present a full programme of demonstrations and exhilarating exhibition cookery.

The festival is the brainchild of Teddy Maufe, a well-known figure in Norfolk with a passion for the excellence of the produce that comes from the region. The North Norfolk Business Forum Agriculture Round Table, of which Teddy is a member, then took up the project. Ian Doughty, Chairman of North Norfolk Business Forum said:

“We are lucky to have such a diverse range of food and drink producers in North Norfolk, plus a reservoir of talented chefs who appreciate the excellence of what is produced here.”

He continued, “There is no entry fee* to the Festival, so this is a unique opportunity for everyone to come along, be entertained and see exactly what fine foods our region has to offer. It may well be an eye-opener, plus a great day out.”

The North Norfolk Food Festival is being held the weekend of 4th and 5th September at Holkham Hall, and will be open from 10am. *Holkham Hall will collect a parking fee.

Bodybuilders and athletes know that one of the main keys to success is building muscle strength. After two years in development, a new, safe and all-natural dietary supplement is now available to give these athletes even better results.

Scientists have been working with some of the world’s top athletes to produce this new generation of bodybuilding supplement called Bio Forge Pro Max. The product, developed by Biotivia Bioceuticals, is a dietary supplement that increases muscle definition, reduces fat density and improves recovery times.

Supplements can be a big aid to training and to improving strength and performance. This new supplement is an exciting addition to Biotivia’s existing, best-selling collection of products for bodybuilders, Bio Forge lean mass building supplement range.

Bio Forge Pro Max’s muscle building properties have been tested over a two-year period. Bio Forge Pro Max has been found to be effective without the normal side effects associated with other body building products.

Bio Forge is the fastest-growing new bodybuilding supplement in the US. Biotivia Bioceuticals is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Resveratrol-based supplements, which are causing a stir among scientists for their anti-aging properties and huge potential for a wide range of health benefits. Experts believe the natural plant-based compound can simulate the body’s natural defences against cell damage, protecting them against age-related diseases.

Development

Before the development process began, Biotivia asked several champion bodybuilders what they wanted in a supplement. Their responses included better muscle definition, faster and better recovery after workouts, less muscular aches and fatigue, less mental fatigue, more energy and stamina, improved mental focus and reducing fat density.

Based on these key factors, the company set about testing various combinations of ingredients that could achieve the desired results.
Bodybuilders usually need to take a number of several different supplements to achieve the desired results. But with Bio Forge Pro Max, its clinically proven formula combines all these elements in one.
Results
James Betz, CEO and founder of Biotivia, which has produced the new Bio Forge Pro Max supplement, said, “Bio Forge Pro Max is the ultimate answer to every bodybuilder’s and extreme athlete’s demand. Our results have shown a huge improvement in overall strength, muscle mass and recovery time after training.”
Bio Forge Pro Max has been tested by hard-core bodybuilders and athletes who have achieved documented positive results. The new supplement has been developed to be used in conjunction with the existing and hugely popular Bio Forge. Both products work together to achieve even greater results.

All-natural

The new supplement is a combination of Forskolin, Fadogia Agrestis, Cholecalciferol and 7-methoxyflavone. Scientists at Biotivia say the product increases anabolic and thermogenic conditioning, boosts lipolysis and contains aromatase inhibitors that help lower oestrogen levels while causing an increase in testosterone levels.

Bio Forge’s bodybuilding supplements are clinically proven to:

1.	Enhance body mass
2.	Reduce fat mass to support better definition
3.	Support libido and sexual function
4.	Ensure faster recovery times and more productive workouts
5.	Boost both total and free testosterone, verified by serum profiles.

Wild Bunch Media has announced the launch of Men’s Running, its second launch within a year, following the success of Women’s Running.

The first issue of Men’s Running magazine goes on sale this Thursday, 2nd September with its digital platform live at www.mensrunninguk.co.uk

Men’s Running is the UK’s first running magazine just for men and will deliver credible and authoritative running content for beginners and regular runners in a style and tone which modern men respond to.

Editor Danny Coyle says: ‘Running hasn’t been perceived as cool in the past but that has changed. Like most men, blokes who run care about their gear and gadgets, they like to laugh and love impressing their mates and, of course, women. Men’s Running will offer a humorous, yet edgy editorial style and will target the average bloke who runs but probably doesn’t define himself purely as a runner.’

Coyle adds: ‘Our target reader runs to get fit for other sports, to lose his beer belly, to challenge and be better than his mates, to impress women and, as a result, enjoy a better quality of life – all thanks to running.’

Kevin McCormick, director at WBM, says: ‘Since its launch, Women’s Running has grown the running sector at news-stand by over 40% due to its editorial quality and relevance to women who run. Insights from our research suggest that Men’s Running will grow this sector further for the same reasons: quality and relevance. There are over a million men who run in the UK and many are now sophisticated consumers of magazines and users of digital media. Men’s Running will deliver content they want in a style and tone which they now expect. We will bring more purchasers to the news-stand and create a new audience for advertisers in print and online’.

With an initial print run of 35,000, Men’s Running magazine will be available nationwide in major retailers including WH Smith, Tesco, Sainsbury, Morrisons, ASDA, Waitrose, Martin McColl, Easons and all good newsagents. It is priced at £4.20.

135,000 UK kids are set to scoot over 1 million miles each week to school on what have become the hottest phenomena on three wheels – The Mini and Maxi Micro Scooters. And, by opting for three-wheel transport in favour of the car, they will be saving their parents £39million in petrol **.
Uniquely designed to literally surf the pavements, the 3 wheeled Mini and Maxi Micro Scooters have established themselves as the coolest thing on wheels on the ‘scoot to school’. And, with the newest introduction to the Maxi Micro Scooter range this phenomenal success story looks set to run and run....
SCOOT BACK TO SCHOOL IN STYLE ON THE ALL NEW ORANGE, JOY-STICK MAXI MICRO SCOOTER
Micro Scooters Ltd has recently launched a funky new citrus orange, joy-stick Maxi Micro Scooter, available exclusively in the UK via: www.micro-scooters.co.uk.

The new orange joy-stick Maxi Micro Scooter is the inspiration of Anna Gibson and Philippa Gogarty, founding partners of Micro Scooters Ltd. Having watched their growing children become more confident and able on their Maxi Micro T-Bar scooters they realized that, to safely keep pace with their kids emerging ‘tween’ aspirations, they needed to offer a more grown up scooting experience.
Designed specifically to appeal to kids aged 8-12years, the new orange joy-stick Maxi Micro Scooter is, therefore, the perfect transition scooter for kids who’ve mastered the classic T-bar scooter and are looking for something a bit more edgy that allows them to safely ‘surf’ in a similar style to teenager skateboarders.
This vibrant new addition to the Maxi Micro Scooter range is set to appeal to both boys and girls and, no doubt, will be cutting a colourful swathe on the scoot-to-school.
The popularity of the Micro Scooters amongst kids is matched by the enthusiasm of their parents who appreciate its enduring value as something that will be used and enjoyed every-day and that’s lightweight, portable and can be easily stored away. It is also great for promoting exercise and improves children’s balance, coordination and independence.

For more information on Joy-Stick Maxi Micro Scooter or the range of T-Bar Maxi and Mini Micro Scooters suitable for children with aged 3-5 years and 6-12 years respectively, visit the newly redesigned website at http://www.micro-scooters.co.uk.

We would be happy to consider media enquiries regarding promotional offers and competitions for the new Orange Joy-Stick Maxi Micro Scooter.
NOTES TO EDITORS:
Micro Scooters Ltd is the success story of two London mums: Anna Gibson and Philippa Gogarty, who managed to get hold of the Mini Micro Scooter for their children and could not believe how it changed their lives for the better. As a result they set up Micro Scooters Ltd in 2004 to make it more wildly available in the UK. They are the sole distributors of the Mini and Maxi Micro Scooter in the UK and the philosophy behind their success is a refreshingly simple and honest one: “As mothers of young and older children we know that keeping them happily occupied is half the battle. We have created a website that only sells toys we know work. Many of the toys for sale are recommendations from other mothers and their children. Our market research is second to none. Any new product we come across is tried and tested on our 6 children, with an age range of 2 – 12 you can be assured that every product is looked over with a critical eye but at the end of the day it has to pass the test for us as Mums.

“Either our life has to have been made easier by the introduction of the product to our children or the product has to have some intrinsic educational value - and so our search for more great products continues. “

London 2 September 2010 “Wake up! Wake up!” the Guide cried, “The Blizzard Wizard has turned the Gardener into ice. Ramion is in great danger!”

Frank Hinks’ children’s book, ‘The Blizzard Wizard’, is published on 1 October 2010.

‘The Blizzard Wizard’ is the 14th story in the Ramion series.
Aimed at 7/8 years (and all who are young at heart), Hinks’ unique style of fantasy adventure with a healthy spoonful of yuckyness is a joy for parents’ to read to younger children and older children to read for themselves.

One touch of the Blizzard Wizard and body, mind and spirit turn to ice. With the unwitting help of foolish Cloud 9 the Princess of the Night frees the Blizzard Wizard from prison. With the rabbit Scrooey-Looey the boys, Julius, Alexander and Benjamin set out to gather earth from the bottom of a pond where the Ducky Rocky lives surrounded by monsters of the forest, pure water guarded by a snake in the deepest cavern in Iliana, breeze from Mount Nereid and fire from the volcano of the Princess of the Night. These four elements when they combine will bind up the Blizzard Wizard and take him back to his prison cell. Can the warrior cat Snuggle save the land of Ramion again?!

Robin Edwards
TV Scriptwriter and author said:-
“Frank Hinks’ invention Ramion, a place where anything could happen and does - pulls together all the classic elements essential to keep children interested, in fine style. Great stuff, especially if you’re trying to wean a recalcitrant boy off the
Nintendo.”

Robin Stuart-Clark
Readers' Forum book Club said:-
“Frank Hinks transports you to a world where good battles evil and evil gives as good as it gets, all with a dose of good humour and no nonsense dialogue and wonderful, mind-stopping illustrations that make you look and look again”

Ask Frank Hinks how many more Ramion stories he will write and what inspires him to keep writing and he will tell you, “I will keep writing whilst the ideas which stem from years of bedtime storytelling for my three sons Julius, Alexander and Benjamin (who are now adults) continue to flow. I am currently working on The Body Collector. How many beyond that I have no idea.”

Notes to Editors: ‘The Blizzard Wizard’ by Frank Hinks is published by Perronet Press.

CONNECT WITH YOUR INNER TRANQUILITY
THROUGH THE POWERFUL HEALING BENEFITS
OF DAILY MEDITATION

September 2010 - The mental and physical health benefits of daily meditation practice are now universally acknowledged by doctors, psychologists and health care providers yet many people are still unsure how to meditate, question whether they are doing it correctly and are unsure why they should bother learning the practice according to Darren Main, USA-based meditation instructor & yoga teacher, and author of Inner Tranquility – A Guide to Seated Meditation (Findhorn Press, £6.99, January 2011).

In this compelling short-read how-to guide, Darren provides an effective guide to developing a regular meditation practice and a compelling rationale. It's hard to wonder why anyone would not want to make meditation part of their toolkit for life after reading this!

Inner Tranquility provides doable techniques that anyone can try whether they are new to meditation, have tried it in the past but gave up in frustration, or if they regularly mediate yet want to improve technique and commitment. Darren also shares his own deeply personal experiences pre meditation as a young man and inspiringly illustrates how much his life has changed because of it.

The book gives clear instruction on how to create a daily meditation practice and explains how and why meditation works as well as exploring the physical, psychological and emotional benefits which range from lowering blood pressure to balanced mental health, to clearer thinking and focus to real contentment and non attachment to material things, which many people crave for, thinking they will be happier when they have the latest this, that and the other! To connect with your inner tranquility will give you much more than peace of mind.

Darren explains the importance of sitting correctly in meditation - as a seated practice - having discovered when he was learning the skill how un-natural it is for many westerners to sit still for more than a few minutes, and that everyone struggles initially with this aspect of meditation. The book also explores the five obstacles to stillness – craving, aversion, agitation, fantasy and sloth – and provides many practical tips on how to manage distractions.

Says Darren: "No matter how many times you get distracted during your meditation, RETURN to the practice. Everyone gets distracted all the time. It is the nature of the ego mind to get distracted. The practice of meditation involves acknowledging that you have been distracted and then returning to the practice without judgment. It serves no purpose to beat yourself up for becoming distracted.”

Inner Tranquility explores meditation in a modern way and provides contemporary, real life examples from Darren’s own practice and over a decade of teaching various mediation techniques to enable more people to enjoy the benefits of a quiet mind and an open heart - the foundation of a rewarding life.

Thomson and First Choice shops prepare for National Cruise Week 19 to 26 September

In recognition of the forthcoming National Cruise Week, CruiseDeals Experts up and down the country will be on hand to give advice to customers on all cruise offerings. Whether a first time cruiser or part of the crew, there is a cruise holiday for everyone and our experts will ensure the right one is chosen.

As we come to the end of the summer season, it is now more important than ever to keep cruise holidays in the minds of customers. National Cruise Week, this year taking place between the 19 and 26 September, is a great opportunity to generate interest and CruiseDeals is getting onboard.

In the First Choice Holiday Superstore’s in Rotherham and Birstall, the CruiseDeals Experts will be holding special cruise days in association with Leeds Bradford and Doncaster/Sheffield airports and with representatives from all the major cruise companies. Thomson Fforest Fach in Swansea will be targeting the ‘new to cruise’ passengers for the whole of National Cruise Week. Working closely with TUI cruise, RCCI and CCS, the store will have experts on hand with lots of special offers for cruise bookings.

All of this effort is not lost, the British cruise market is continuing to grow and in Thomson and First Choice shops alone, a cruise holiday is sold approximately every 60 seconds. So continuing to ride this wave of success is very important to agents.

In February this year, a serious investment in the cruise market was made by TUI UK and 41 CruiseDeals lounges were rolled out across the country in the larger Thomson and First Choice stores. Each lounge would comprise of a dedicated area, specifically for cruise holidays, with video walls showing promotional clips from all cruise companies, special deals and expert advice available at all times. There is now even a CruiseDeals shop in Liverpool.

Visit your local Thomson or First Choice shop during National Cruise Week or visit the Discover Cruises website for more information.

With over 40 miles of magnificent coastline, golden beaches, rolling countryside, spectacular cliffs, award-winning tourist attractions and the world’s finest selection of links golf courses, East Lothian combines the best of Scotland in one.
Known as the garden of Scotland, you can savour delicious fresh local produce, as well as seafood specialities in East Lothian’s many delicatessens, restaurants and cafes.

We would like to invite you to review or feature both The Tweeddale Arms and Open Arms Hotel in East Lothian, where you and a partner can enjoy a complimentary dinner, bed and breakfast whilst exploring the local area.

The Tweeddale Arms Hotel
The recently refurbished Tweeddale Arms Hotel, formerly known as '[the Great Inn at Gifford,' is one of the oldest buildings in Gifford.

Built circa 1685 and still traditionally black & white, the Tweeddale Arms Hotel in Gifford looks out through lime trees to the Green and the River.

Chef and owner Paul Mundy uses only the best local produce. The hotel provides a wide range of Scottish dishes, as well as modern British and continental cuisine.

Open Arms Hotel
Sitting opposite 13th Century Dirleton Castle, the family owned Open Arms hotel offers lovely food and fine wines.

This hotel stands at the foot of the village green overlooking the Castle. Quiet lounges with open fires add to the warmth of personal welcome.
Open Arms serve both fine dining in the Library restaurant and a more informal style in Deveau’s Brasserie.

All produce is local, where possible, and the emphasis is on good food produced in a traditional manner

Rent a chic city apartment & enjoy more space for half the cost of a hotel

As shopping comparison site Kelkoo reveals Britons’ main priority when taking a city break is affordability, HomeAway Holiday-Rentals, the UK’s no.1 holiday rentals website, reports that when it comes to accommodation apartment rentals are one of the most cost-effective options for travellers. When comparing rental rates on www.HomeAway.co.uk to average daily hotel rates in 10 of the most popular European cities, the company found the price per square metre for a private rental works out around half the price of a hotel room, and sometimes much less*. Venice rentals offer the best value for money, with apartments there working out four times cheaper than hotels.

As the recession drags on, British travellers have become more cost-conscious than ever, with affordability a primary consideration when booking holidays. According to Kelkoo, almost 9 out of 10 people (87%) claim prices at the destination are the most important factor, while 86% deem the cost of accommodation to be key**. The reasonable cost, combined with the additional value rentals provide in terms of more space, privacy and kitchen facilities, make them the perfect option for those looking for an affordable holiday.

Kelkoo also points out that Eurozone cities have become more affordable again during recent months due to the strengthening of the pound, so travellers now have 18% more spending power than 18 months ago. Lisbon and Barcelona are highlighted as particularly favourable destinations, with many of the attributes UK travellers look for in an ideal city break. As well as a good exchange rate they are easy to get to and have great weather. www.HomeAway.co.uk found that apartment rentals in Lisbon work out on average 58% less, and in Barcelona 64% less than hotels.

There are over 7,000 city centre European rentals on HomeAway Holiday-Rentals, including more than 200 in Lisbon, the top city destination in Kelkoo's city index. Below is a list of budget apartments available to rent in Lisbon and other popular European cities.

Prices quoted are per person per night based on full occupancy and all prices were correct at the time of going to the press.
