I'm going to post a soup recipe that I've tried out and I'd recommend. <br />Then I'm going to tag some people, so they can post a soup recipe that they've tried out and that they like. They link back to my post where they saw the meme and then tag, say, 5 more people - who post their soup recipes and link back to where they saw the meme. And thus a huge chain of recommended soups takes over the blogosphere!</p> <p>So here's my soup, taken from the <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/ricetomatoandcuminso_11357.shtml">bbc.co.uk/food</a> site:</p> <p>Tomato, basmati and cumin soup by James Martin.</p> <p><strong>Ingredients</strong><br /> ½ medium onion,&nbsp; finely chopped<br />2 garlic cloves, crushed<br />30g/1oz butter<br />1 tsp ground cumin <br />85g/3oz long grain rice (basmati) <br />2 tins of chopped tomatoes <br />290ml/½ pint chicken or vegetable stock <br />small bunch parsley, chopped<br />sea salt and freshly ground black pepper<br />4 tbsp olive oil</p> <br /> <p><strong>Method</strong><br /> 1. Sauté the onion and garlic in the butter, stirring occasionally, until the onion is soft and translucent. Well, hello. I haven't properly blogged in so very long. I haven't had much to say so instead I decided to post links of interest to me. I've been a bit disconnected generally this summer and it's been good. But now, with winter rolling in, I'm happy to get back in the blogging zone. I've felt the same way about craft. I took the summer off, not intentionally I just had no inspiration, but now I feel ready to get back to scrapbooking and the like. For one thing, I'm running a craft show in December!

And another thing. I'm expecting my second baby, due late May/early June which is obviously mega-exciting and kinda mildly terrifying. At least I have a better idea what to expect this time round. I'll probably be under consultant care for my pregnancy due to my not-working thyroid which means I can't go to the lovely birthing centre I went to last time but I know that my thyroid problems could be a big issue for bubba so I'm happy to acquiesce for now.

Anyway, a house of mess awaits me so really, I should crack on. See you around.
