Treatments for ovarian cysts vary according to the type of ovarian cyst you are suffering from. Some cysts, known as functional cysts such as the follicular cysts, corpus luteum cysts, and hemorrhagic cysts usually disappear on their own and require no other treatment except for ibuprofen or other over-the-counter pain medications.
