kad blociņā parādījās jauns ieraksts. Ik pa laikam ir bijusi vēlme kaut ko uzrakstīt, atbildēt uz ienākušajiem jautājumiem, bet te būtu vieta vārdiem no vienas Gustavo dziesmas ".. darbi, darbi, darbi, darbi. Nu un par ģimeni kaut kas tur ar bij..." un blociņam laika kā neatliek, tā neatliek.
Patiesībā jau sportiskā ziņā lielu notikumu pa šo laiku nav

Pa šo mēnesi kāda čupiņa jautājumu ir saradušies, un zemāk ir atrodamas manas atbildes uz daļu no tiem. Atbildes uz pārējiem neatbildētajiem jautājumiem sniegšu kādā no nākamajām atbilžu reizēm. Arī vairumam velosipēdu ir ātrumi - trīs zobrati priekšā, seši aizmugurē, kopā sanāk astoņpadsmit. Taču kādā no pēdējiem treniņiem aizdomājos, ka arī cilvēkam ir savi ātrumi. Skaidrības labad droši vien gan būtu jāpiemin, ka vārda "ātrumi" vietā iespējams šajā gadījumā būtu labāk lietot vārdu "pārnesumi", taču cerams,

Ja iepriekšējais raksts bija par to, kā pamazām mans organisms atgāja no Amsterdamas maratona, tad nu jau var teikt, ka maz pamazām cenšos atgriezties normālā treniņu režīmā. Te gan jāliek uzsvars uz vārdu "cenšos", jo it sevišķi no rītiem, kad aiz loga vēl ir visai tumšs, izrāpties no gultas, lai autu kājās botas un dotos ārā, nav nemaz tik viegli. Kaut gan tas no-gultas-izrāpšanās-slinkums

Vakar, izmantojot iespēju uzskriet vietējās sacensībās, piedalījos Zilo kalnu sezonas noslēguma sacensībās krosā. Trase vijās pa Zilo kalnu distanču slēpošanas trasi, un vīriešiem bija jāskrien četri apļi, katrs nepilnu 2.5km garumā. Dalībnieku īpaši daudz nebija, taču, kas izkustēties gribēja uz mežu bija atnācis. Neskaitot pirmo apli, pārējos skrēju vienatnē, un izdevās skrējienu uzvarēt ar

Kopš Amsterdamas maratona aizritējušas jau divas pilnas nedēļas, bet organismam laikam šķiet, ka tas bijis tikai pirms pāris dienām, jo nebūt atjaunošanās nenorit tik ātri kā gribētos. Pirmā nedēļa pirms maratona pagāja pavisam brīvā režīmā - kopumā droši vien skrienot aizvadīju vien kādas trīs stundas, varbūt pat mazāk. Nevarētu gan arī teikt, ka pārāk vilka uz skriešanu, bet tajās dažās

Domājot par šī rudens maratonu, vasarā tika izvērtēti vairāki varianti, līdz beidzot starp skriešanu Frankfurtes vai Amsterdamas maratonā, izvēle krita par labu pēdējam. Tā nu jau kopš augusta sākuma gan es, gan arī Kristaps, kurš bija apņēmības pilns beidzot savā maratonista karjerā izskriet no 2:30, sākām pilnvērtīgu gatavošanos, lai oktobra vidū būtu gatavi cienīgi noskriet maratonu.

Veselība kopš pagājušās nedēļas ārsta apmeklējuma ir uzlabojusies, šodien pēdējo reizi biju uz fizioprocedūrām, bet, protams, pavisam ideālas sajūtas vēl nav, jo veselība, pat ja tā patiesi atgriežas, to dara ļoti lēnām.
Laikapstākļi maratona dienā solās būt salīdzinoši labi. Rīts gan solās būt pavēss ap +5 grādiem, bet, cerams, ka skrējiena laikā gaiss par

Bija vajadzīgi divi gadi, lai kristu 2009.gada rudenī Valmierā uzstādītais personiskais rekords (personal best - PB) pusmaratonā. Vakar Valmierā to izdevās uzlabot par 19 sekundēm, un nu mans labākais rezultāts pusmaratona (21.0975 km) distancē ir 1:09:19.
Jāsaka godīgi, ka šādu rezultātu gaidījis netiku. Pirms nedēļas daudz spēki tika atstāti skrējienā Jūrmalā, bet patiesībā jau galvenais

Vakar Jūrmalā AlphaBaltic (maratoni.lv) rīkoto pasākumu ietvaros jau otro gadu notika Balticmiles pusmaratons. Kaut arī pasākums notika vairs ne pirmo reizi, tomēr organizētības ziņā plaši sperts solis atpakaļ. Lai kāds pārāk neapvainotos, nesākšu uzskaitīt visas nebūšanas, taču droši varu aicināt organizatorus no nākamā gada pasākuma, ja tāds ir plānots, droši svītrot vārdu "pusmaratons", ja

Pērn NIKE Riga run neskrēju, bet tā kā šogad tas tika apvienots ar Latvijas čempionātu 10 kilometru skrējienu šosejā un tika solīts, ka atšķirībā no pagājušā gada trase patiesi būs precīzi 10 kilometri, tad jau vasaras sākumā tika nolemts, ka šajā skrējienā būs jāpiedalās. Dažs labs vēl izteicās, ka tas būšot šī gada otrs nozīmīgākais starts, bet man vienkārši gribējās noskriet patiešām labi.

Šogad bija kopumā trīsdesmitais, bet man ceturtais skrējiens "Apkārt Vaidavas ezeram". Tā kā aizvadītā nedēļa tika diezgan centīgi aizvadīta treniņos - sanāca apvienot visai labus ātruma treniņus ar kārtīgu garo skrējienu nedēļas vidū, tad Vaidavas skrējienam speciāli atpūsties nesanāca. Bet neba jau šis arī bija uzskatāms

Šogad pretēji pēdējiem gadiem, kad tā bija vidējā distance, Pasaules ranga (WRE) ieskaitē tika vērtēta garā distance, un, iespējams, šī iemesla dēl, bet varbūt arī iemesls bija kāds cits - lai vai kā, Kāpas

Pēdējā laikā mana viesošanās orientēšanās mačos ir ļoti neregulāra un epizodiska, bet izlēmu, ka  vismaz viens o-mačs jūnijā ir jāapmeklē un galu galā, kāpēc lai tas nebūtu Latvijas čempionāts. Skriet sprintu pa Cēsu ielām gribēju jau sen, un nu beidzot tāda izdevība bija,

Turam tempu pusmaratonā
Nedaudz vairāk kā desmit pēdējās nedēļas paralēli tam, ka pats cītīgi trenējos savam maratonam, pavadīju cītīgi sekojot līdzi tam, kā trenējas pulciņš cilvēku, kas sev par mērķi bija nolikuši Nordea Rīgas maratonā noskriet sava mūža pirmo pusmaratonu, pateicoties VSK Noskrien rīkotajai akcijai "Uzdrošinies noskriet". Jau akcijas pašā sākumā tiku iesaistīts tajā arī kā

Ceļā uz karšu maiņu
Pērn Baltijas čempionātu orientēšanās sportā (BČ) izlaidu tā iemesla dēļ, ka doties uz Igauniju un skriet pa pilnīgi zaļu karti, man nebija ne mazākās vēlmes. Šogad vienu brīdi arī apsvēru domu, ka nez vai uz BČ braukšu, jo Lietuvā šis čempionāts vienmēr ir izcēlies ar visai neskrienamiem apvidiem. Taču uzzinājis, ka šogad čempionāts notiks Kuršu kāpā sapratu, ka Baltijas
