A dedicated nurse tries to introduce an alternate theory of healing to her colleagues and patients, but they are initially resistant. This film is a comic/poetic journey into the idea that our illnesses might actually be outcroppings of our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and attitudes -- as opposed to random biological anomalies (as medical science suggests). Filmed in old-style B&W 16mm film in Upstate New York (USA), this film was cited in local newspapers for its bold effort to challenge conventional medical theory. One of the performers in the work was associated with the owner of one of New York City's most popular social venues (at the time), who loaned the production a lot of his equipment and locations. "What would you have done without me?" he teased the creator of the film upon completion. Featuring two lovely songs by the talented Celina Gray (based on lyrics by the creator of the work), this film was also accepted for distribution by a New York-City-based distr! ibution company just before it folded; the representative of this company said: "The film looks like a restored print of Nosferatu . . . but it really made me think beyond what I have been taught." 2 little boys come together to argue about the time on the clock. Clearly indicating that they are confused about the digits as he shows 4 fingers but is saying its 3. A girl spells out the words outside a restaurant with longing eyes and empty stomach.
These children roam around every where. Only to gather under a tree in the evening and taking out all the papers that they have collected.
Then when a young man appears they seem excited to give them these pieces of papers that they have collected.
The young man collects all of these and staples it together only to form an alphabet book which the children keep and read together.
The little girl had joined a group of children who set out in search of words and education.
And the young man carrying the hope of these young ones to educate the world.
