Each day as I bring my camera out to practice I fall more and more in love. My stomach gets so tingly. I good tingly. And, I just can't help but smile.

In my opinion, photography is truly the best gift in life (I'm not talking about professional photography. Just photography in general.) Pictures truly make magical memories and feel good smiles and I'm so excited to do this with my camera lens. I'm ready to do this! I need to do this! It aligns with every part of me. Amazing, amazing stuff! Watch out world, here I come! :)

Gotta love it! :)

I wonder if we'll be cheering WHO DAT after four years of living here. Honestly, I'm not sure. My husband is a HUGE Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan, and we're both HUGE Tim Tebow fans, so I don't see it changing anytime soon, but we can support our local team even if they're not our official loves. In doing so, I thought I'd post the closest to gold we have in our house. :)

Most of the time I'm trying to catch up on whatever I can while she naps. You know...laundry, e-mail, websites, dishes, cleaning, working out, yoga, meditation, phone calls, taking Rusty out, and the list goes on and on. It's amazing how many items are listed on my to-do list and how little time I have to get any of them done during nap time. So when I get grumpy I have to stop, forget the to-do list (because it's not going anywhere) and just rest. Does my mind want to do that? NO! Does my body? YES!

And, here's a great way to start! I took this picture at Animal Kingdom and it just screams relaxation to me. Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite places at Disney World. As soon as you walk in the music playing is so calming to me and walking around under the tree's....aaaah, I feel like I'm in a different world.

{life is relaxation...aaaaaaah!}

Stop and View the Roses!

<div class="separator" left;"="" text-align:="">Every morning I take baby girl on a nature walk. It really is the most peaceful time of day for us. And I just get filled up with so much inner joy when I listen to my baby girl talk up a baby talk storm while we walk. Not only is she talking, but she's also pointing at the tree's, the birds, the planes, the bushes and the sky.

I've always loved going on walks and soaking up all of what nature has to offer, but now that I get to experience my walks with an 11-month old, I seem to be soaking up more of nature than ever before. It's amazing how much baby girl has taught me in 11 months!

Some of the beauty that I love to see are flowers. How could you miss them. The colors. The way they sway back and forth from the wind blowing. The way they make you smile when you look at them. Pure heaven, right!?

During one baby girls naps, I was finally able to venture outside and practice taking pictures of the flowers that were in the backyard at my parents house. I really wanted to capture the the beauty of the rose. At first I was bummed because I really wanted to capture the beginning blossom of the rose and all of them were pretty much at the end of their blossoming. But, I practiced anyway and had a lot of fun playing with different angles.

When I started my post-processing, I really started to have some fun! Flowers definitely brighten us up with colors, but today, I thought I'd feature them in black and white. It's amazing how they still brighten me up without the color. Would you agree?

And what about those angles? Have you ever really looked at a flower from below? It's amazing how different angles really change the scene of the picture.

Do you take pictures of flowers? If so, what's your favorite flower to photograph? Do you prefer them to be in color, or do you like playing with black and white or other post-processing techniques? :)

Woohoo! Right now we are gearing up to move this summer. Actually, we only have little more than one week left. So, yesterday I took some time to get outside for a walk around our neighborhood. Our loop is SO quiet. The only sounds you hear are the birds and the wind blowing through the trees. I'm sure going to miss my walks. Luckily, I'll have this memory to take with me. It was just a beautiful, summer day! Can't you tell!? Pure beauty!
