"I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars."

~ Og Mandino ~

In a letter to his sister, Van Gogh wrote about the Cafe Terrace at Night painting saying:
"Here you have a night painting without black, with nothing but beautiful blue and violet and green and in this surrounding the illuminated area colors itself sulfur pale yellow and citron green. It amuses me enormously to paint the night right on the spot. Normally, one draws and paints the painting during the daytime after the sketch. But I like to paint the thing immediately.
It is true that in the darkness I can take a blue for a green, a blue lilac for a pink lilac, since it is hard to distinguish the quality of the tone. But it is the only way to get away from our conventional night with poor pale whitish light, while even a simple candle already provides us with the richest of yellows and oranges."

Quote Of The Day

"Starry Night"

I assume you know but just in case you don't know, Epcot-->(Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) is one of the Walt Disney World theme parks. My favorite place to hang around! It is divided in two supercalifragilisticexpialidocious :) areas:

Future World and World Showcase.

Future World consists of a variety of areas that explore innovative aspects and applications of technology...Um diddle um diddle um diddle ay..<-- sorry about that...

...World Showcase features 11 areas representing different countries of the world: Canada, United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan,The American Adventure,Italy, Germany, China, Norway, Mexico, each area beautiful in it's own way!, music in the air!, people of all nations dancing on the streets!, Renee dancing with them!, singing like that---->la,la,la,la,la...

...it may start to sound pathetic but each dance, song, show and all the visitors from around the world I met that day at Epcot Center have helped to refashion the dreams of my heart. Their actions and happy faces made me turn eagerly back to believing that there is still love and hope for all of us in this world. With a magnetic personality and looks to match, Ali draws attention from all quarters, including Jeanne's husband and son. Nonetheless, Jeanne and Ali develop a deep friendship based on their mutual vulnerabilities and long-held secrets that Ali has been recording in her diary. The diary also holds a key to something darker: Alis suspicion that someone has been entering her house when she is not at home. Soon their friendship will be shattered by violence and Jeanne will find herself facing impossible choices in order to protect the people she loves.

Synopsis:
Answering the question of what is more powerful--family or friendship?,this debut novel unforgettably shows how far one woman would go to protect either. This chilling tour of troubled minds signals the launch of an immensely talented new novelist who knows just how to keep her readers guessing.

The Liar's Diary Book Trailer
