From 2:00pm, traditional music from across the British Isles in <strong><em>The Traditional Music Hour</em></strong>. At  5:00pm, the first of two programmes on illustrated literature: Alex Fitch&#8217;s <strong><em>Strip!</em></strong>. This week <strong><em>Pédilüv</em></strong> presents Nancy Steadman&#8217;s &#8220;Eating in Tongues&#8221;, an audio dinner that plays with the juncture of food, language, and sexuality &#8211; service at 5:30pm.</p>
<p>7:00 pm heralds all things Chinese with Zoe Baxter in this evening&#8217;s edition of <strong><em>Lucky Cat</em></strong>. This week&#8217;s <strong><em>Clear Spot</em></strong> is the second of today&#8217;s comic book broadcasts documenting the Alternative Press&#8217; experience of Angouleme International Comic Festival, featuring Stripburger from Slovenia, Chilli con Carne from Portugal, music from Slovenian DIY band the 2227 and Robert Crumb -  8:00pm, as always. From 9:00pm Susanna Glaser of <a href="http://www.thewire.co.uk/">The Wire Magazine</a> will guide your <strong><em>Adventures In Modern Music</em></strong>, with an exclusive mix from hem.</p>

Di Bello is lecturer in History and Theory of Photography at Birkbeck College.
