Wow, The difference between the before and after, the Exhaust pipe was rusted and pitted and came out looking like new. Nice factory Honda Rim, from CB125S fit on my bike fine too!

I though it was the end of my classic bikes in Thailand. When i sold this bike last month to a local neighbour. He wanted to make it sporty and decided to trade up for a bike from essan without plates for my bike he had bought from me. Only problem was i have just misplaced the book, it was in order just last month. I have been trying to make it up-to date and current with taxes and insurance but I haven't been able to locate the owner. and in the meantime I have list the registration book for the bike now what to do! I guess i will have to keep it myself and fix it up as i go! Maybe make it CDI and hope it runs much smoother! Till next time I am still enjoying the ride!

New Emblems on the Honda JX110

I just put some new emblems on my Honda jx110CC. Is is looking good and running bad. I don't know what's happened, it ran smooth at first and then its timing got messed up at a shop in town. I have tried to replace the working parts inside the magneto about its timing and spark with original parts but I have not been able to find what i need. and thus my bike sits in a state of beauty but not very drivable. If any one knows here i can get the small bending tappet like parts which work about advancing timing and i need the whole magnetic wheel as mine is missing some magnets. I may just be able to convert it to CDI but I like the points and condenser and it did run and start well like that! This Honda jx 110 is a import from Japan may years go. If anyone knows where to get some partsplease help me. Thanks! See the new picture updates of the emblems finally installed on new side covers.

Classic restored Honda motorcycles Dream, Jx and CG 125cc

Today was a some what sad day, for it was the last day i will ever get to start one of my Hondas I restored over the past couple years. I have had 3 and completely restored each motorcycle, using all the original parts i could find. These are awesome Hondas produced before the cam chain modern sprot bikes and modeled after th original harley davidson motor. Push rod and tapets with cam gears. Nothing to ever break and as loud a motor as was designed to be. This last bike i sold today has points and condenser ignition.. I changed or upgarded the other two bikes to electronic ignition, but i must admit, l liked this one most of all. It starts up on the first time and it runs smooth and acelerates fast for a Honda motorbike. the original bikes were all 110 cc motors but i upgraded the first two motors combining the cb125 motor and gear box with my 110cc Honda motor. swapped the 4 speed gears for a 5 speed gear box. I also upped the piston size to 125cc swapping out the cyclinder jug for a an original 125 honda jug. This led to me having to adjust the cyclinder head and valves. I had the head bored out to fit the bigger cyclinder. Wow these bikes are great. Long live the Honda 125cc CG and the JX110 Honda. Two great bikes and too this day the old CG Honda 125cc model is still produced in Brazil, China and In europe? Any way i bought another Honda to restore, this time a Four speed 100cc Honda Dream. An original Honda Motrcycle imported from Japan. Japanese Bikes are the best quality for price on the market. Beating the cheap Chinese copies hands down.
Still i will miss the old bike, I had hoped to take it to the Mountains in Virginia and Use it to haul rocks and more after making a side car and attaching a side car. With a 3 wheeler or Side car i could haul a whole family and my dogs in the cart. Next time! I still make get the Honda Dream a side car as it has an expired title and the office of DMV wont offer any help with my trying to pay back taxes. Stupid DMV, I am trying to drive legal on the road and want to pay my tax and yet they are stuck over paperwork and locating the original owner to sign the release. Hum 17 years ago was the last time this Honda was licensed. And it went from two more owners never being registered in a new name. Why make it hard to be legal. this just encourages me to drive it like i have been... Unregistered and illegal! Oh well. I sold that one and now its time for new one!

Selling My Restored Classic Hondas Motorbikes on Craigslist

I have enjoyed restoring these classic motorcycles, but now i have decided to move on with this job. I am putting the bikes up for sale. It is a loss for me and i love these bikes. Harley style motor in single piston variety. The motors is loud just like a Harley minus about 1000cc's. I have 3 lovely bikes, each one is different and two are jx110 and one CG110, but the actual motors have been modified with Electronic Ignition and large 125 cc pistons and jugs. Brand new carb and sport tyres. The have all new wiring and new motor bearing. I also swapped out the old 4spd gear box in place of a much newer 5spd. They are light and easy to handle and the perfect bike for showing off on around town. Take a look on the Thailand Craig's list. I am putting them up fo sale today. Each one is slightly different and priced different. The price range is from only $600 for the JX110, $800 for the jx110 with 5 spd, and $1000 for the awesome yellow classic CG125 with 5spd motor. I have taken this bike on 500mile trip into the Thai mountains without problem. Driving at speeds over 60mph with my wife on the back. This bike has all the power you need and best of all, it gets about 80 miles per gallon of gas.

Restored CG125 Classic Honda Motorcycle

This is a picture of the red and black bike in the lower pictures. I had the chrome re chromed and the tank replace and new wiring and CDI ignition (point less ignition). It has Completely rebuilt shocks and its a smooth ride. The tires wheels and hubs were replaced as well as the bearing and most other components. I have put over 1000$ into it now and its a nice ride. I re bored the head for clearance for a bigger cylinder and i had the valve ported and wow it sounds throaty!

Honda CG125 Classic Motorcycle and Efficient

This is the best designed and produced motorcycle ever. The Honda CG125 was a design of simplicity and durability. The engine uses meshing timing gears and eliminate the need for a chain which breaks or needs adjustment. This Change in design makes the motor even simpler to disassemble while still on the bike. The complete head and cylinder can easily be removed and replaced in a few hours. The similar designed bike the Honda CB125 needs to have the entire motor removed from the frame, which will require a few more hours or a full day.
The Motor will run for thousands of miles and only needs a regulay 3 month oil change to keep it running smooth. Its simple design also saves in the pocket, it gets about 80 mpg. This is a great bike for geting around town and into close parking spaces.

This bike began production in the early 1970's and is still made in Brazil and England to this day.
Major upgrades have been accomplished with the front brake and electric starter. The voltage is upgraded form the original 6 volt to the modern standards of 12 volts. I Have restored 3 of these bike here in thailand. It was sold in Thailand as both the Original CG110 and CG125 and the later model called the JX110 and JX125.
