WE DID IT! 11 SONGS RECORDED IN 5 DAYS!

That's right! Last week we went into the studio for 5 days and managed to smash out 11 brand new songs! We recorded at City of Westminister College where Mixmaster Hemy works as a tech in their very new and shiny looking proper professional studio!

Did we mention it was hot? Dear god it was hot. The main room was 30 something and then the isolated Sweaty Drum Room of Death which Kyle came to call his home for an uncomfortable portion of the five days was probably hitting 40. He was laying down drum tracks in swimming shorts and trainers basically.

Matt gave up wearing t-shirts all together as he said they 'restricted his flow'. No we don't know what that means either. He sure did get results though! At one point he actually fell to the floor he was giving the vocal take so much! UUGGGHHH!!

You may have heard rumours that it's Roger's fault that 'We Are The Sons & Daughters of GG Allin' now has an extra verse in it. These rumours are yet to be proven, but we did have a few instances of going back and having to insert an extra verse in here, an extra break in there...I think the heat was getting to us.

As we were recording at a college we had to be out by 6/7 each day, and we literally finished the last backup vocal for the last song with 10 minutes to spare before they kicked us out on the last day!

So what's next?! Hemy is going on holiday, then he's going to mix and master the session in September, with the album hopefully out by the end of the year! It'll definetely be on CD and all digital places, we know that much. We're uhming and ahhing about artwork and titles but we seriously cannot wait to share these 11 songs with you dudes. Even completely unmixed with totally raw drums they're already sounding next level for us. Watch this space!!

You read that right, we're back in the studio on Monday 16th July for 5 days to lay down some tasty new jamz for our debut album (that's right ALBUM BABY!) hopefully to be unleashed before the year is out! (We work slow, you know this)

It's gonna be mostly new stuff with a couple of reworked old songs, including one we tried to record way back in 2013 but Rog messed up the ghost track so the drums ended up out of time and we had to abandon it. Hopefully that won't happen again, but considering Rog hasn't actually got better at playing guitar (he's just got more pedals) it's always a possibility!

But before that, we tighten up and road-test the songs over two shows! First up, we're opening up this sick ska-punk bill at our second home The Fighting Cocks in Kingston with Popes Of Chillitown and Eat The Evidence on Friday 13th...

Then we head to Folkestone for our first time at The Harp Restrung with mateys Melisandre's Beaver and Hounding on Saturday 14th!

If you're around London or Kent on those days see you there, if not keep your ear to the ground for studio updates starting on Monday 16th! (Probably lots of photos of Kyle looking tired and Matt on the verge of an Axel-Rose-esque strop...)

New Jamz THIS FRIDAY!!!

That's right! The new two-track, double-A-side, digital-only-single, whatever you want to call it - is out this Friday!! Two brand new tracks acting as a sort of preview to the album we're currently writing, somewhat optimistically aiming to be released before 2018 is over. That's optimistic for us. We're really not very productive.

New Tunes Coming Your Way!!

So you may have heard us bang about how we were in the studio last year laying down 4 sweet new tracks - and then you heard nothing...

Well the plan was to release the 4 tracks as an EP online and on the magical format of CD, but then we thought "wouldn't it be sweet if we kept writing, recorded some more, then released an actual, 10-track album? Like real bands used to do?!" Sooooo that's what we're doing!

We haven't got them all written yet but the stuff we've got online right now is kind of dated - so we formulated a NEW NEW plan to release 2 of the new tracks as a digital only single while we crack on with the writing and recording of the album. Sooooo that's what we're really doing!

Right now the lovely Ben of Paper Champs fame / infamy is mastering 2 jams for us and putting up with a plethora of "Hmmm, it sounds thin, can you make it sound fuller? How about not so full? Can you make Rog's solo more face melting please? More cowbell!" requests from us with the patience of Saint Patience, the Patron Saint of Patientness.

So as soon as he's done and we've sorted a cover (who's betting we just do a Teenage Bottlerocket and use the same cover of the last EP with a different colour?) we'll chuck it up on the old bandcamp! Keep your eyes peeled!

2018 - We got to start it off with a positive jam man

Woah we haven't posted on here for a while. Bad Resuscitators bad!

Anyway - we had a crazy good 2017 and to welcome in 2018, how about some lovely words from the fine dudes over at Colin's Punk Rock World? Check it out!!

So all that banging on about releasing new tunes will come to fruition in 2018, we promise. No really! We've got 4 songs in the can, 2 more finished and another 2 nearly finished. Gonna push to do a 10 tracker, like an actual album. Yeah!!

Anyway, a squillion thanks to all the bands we played with, promoters & venues that had us, people who came to see us and everyone who contributed kind words and positive vibes throughtout 2017! Can't wait to hang with you all again and make some new friends this year!

Totally out of the blue, Dying Scene feature us on their monthly strand 'Hidden Gems of Bandcamp'! It's so insanely complimentary that we assumed one of our friends must have written it!

Seriously - "If Rancid and Bouncing Souls had a baby, then decided they couldn’t afford the child and put it up for adoption where it was subsequently adopted and raised by Comeback Kid, we’re betting it would sound like this fantastic four piece" - : D

We're totally honoured to be playing this - 12 bands, one day and one fantastic cause! It's 11th July at the New Cross Inn.

All the money raised at this gig is being split 50/50 between Mat Sargent's, Sex Drugs & Hiv project and the Wat Prabat Nampu Temple and AIDS Hospice in Lopburi, Thailand to help them continue the incredible work they do.

MORE GIGS / RESUSCITATORS TAKE BRIXTON!

We've all been working our arses off lately at our various mind-numbing jobs so we haven't played many gigs lately, but all that is about to change!

First up we're playing this blinder at the Windmill in Brixton with the mighty Paper Arms, our sleazy bros The Burnt Tapes and new bros Going Away Party on Monday 18th May!

Then we're back in Brixton on Sunday for a South London Punx Collective gig in conjunction with the South London Punks Picnic and Scumbag Olympics - plan is get smashed and have some grub in the sun at Brockwell Park (sun pending...) then head down to the Hand in Hand Pub for us, Mindframe, the excellent Slow Faction and the fantastically rowdy SHOT! Oh yeah, and it's FREE! See you there!

And if Brixton's not utterly sick of us by this point, we're back at the Windmill for a PUNK ROCK BBQ with a shedload of awesome bands, including Janowski, Second in Line, Sally, The Dedwardians, The Rioters and Spoilers!

Then we head down to The Cave at the Holly Tree in Addlestone on 11th June with the ferocious Twin Dracula and Strange Planes! We've never played The Cave before but everyone says it's an amazing venue - can't wait!

After that, we're all cramming into Matt's tiny car and heading out to the Isle of Wight to play a FREE ENTRY show at Coburgs with Capo Regime, Two Pint Shot Glass and Diamond Dogs on the 26th June!

And finally, we head back to London to play the South London Punk Collective HIV/Aids Charity All Dayer! We're absolutely honoured to play this - so many amazing bands are playing and it's such a great cause! Tickets are £8 advance and we'll have some with us at all the above dates, so pick one up from us and come on down! Bands start at 2:30pm!

We'd love to get on some more gigs too so please do give us a shout!

So back in August? September? Dunno, something like that - we all crammed into Matt's car and headed up to Derby to film a music video for Little Victories - the 'hit single' from our brand new EP Make It Through Another Night which we finally got round to releasing last week.

The awesome Brett and Bex from AVP Productions were at the helm and as you can see they absolutely smashed it!
