This is my lost audio podcast! I am so happy to find it again! The reason that I am so happy is not because of the quality of the work ): Rather I am happy that I could locate it on the Internet Archive (yippee) and remember how to post it to this blog (yippee again)! There is hope that I will master the process yet!

As Twitter is new to many PVIA folks, thought I would share just a few very short thoughts about one of the social tools we're using in this project. I made it by doing a quick google image search on Twitter and throwing them into Movie Maker in some particular order, then improvisationally saying what came to mind. Again, this was to prove you can make a video podcast in a short amoutn of time !! ;-) PVIA members should follow us @PVIA.

Kudos to Bethany and Holly! With all these windows open, downloads happening, tutorials in progress, Skype chatting, a Connect session in progress and blogging at the same time.. it's all very exciting and confusing at times! My brain waves and my eyes are getting crossed. If this is how the brains of the students raised post-Internet function, all the more power to them. They'll need it... =;->

Become a RETA Video Podcaster!

If you are a RETA Podcasting Workshop participant, we encourage you to take the opportunity to become a member of this blog so you can be a RETA Podcaster. This blog has already been set up for audio and video podcast. So, as a member, you will be able to write blog posts that include your video links which will then automatically become podcasted! Totally fantastic, right? :)

So, when you are learning how to video podcast during that Creating Video Podcasts workshop, take a few moments during the workshop to create a video telling us a little about yourself and your video podcasting aspirations or experiences. Then, post something to this blog and link to your video file (you'll learn how to do that in the workshop) and, voila! you'll achieve instant video podcaster status!

We look forward to seeing all the great things you do with video podcasting in the workshop and in your classes, so please post soon! :)

Being a participant in the RETA Podcasting Workshops means you can become an author on the RETA Podcasting Blog. The great thing about being an author on this blog is that you can create posts here and link them to your audio and video files. What's so great about that? Well, we've set up the blog for podcasting, so when you do post to the blog and link to those audio or video files you've created, they'll automatically become episodes of the RETA Podcast.

Our intentions are that every time you learn something new in one of the workshops, you can use this blog to practice what you've learned. For example, when you are learning how to find and subscribe to podcasts, you'll be able to practice by subscribing to the podcast feed of this blog; when you learn how to create an audio podcast, you'll be able to create a post here and link it to your audio file so it will become a podcast episode; and, when you learn how to create a video podcast you'll also be able to create a post here and link it to that video file so it becomes a podcast episode.

So, ask your instructor how to become a member of this blog so you can begin your podcast journey right away. It will be great to have you as a member of the RETA Podcasting community!
