Meet Reggie Redbird from 10am-11am, enjoy a roaming magician, pet stories in the Book Nook at 10:30 and 11:30am, refreshments, door prizes, balloons and more!

teenZone and Patio Open House, Bloomington Public Library, 11am-2pm. Come celebrate the opening of the Library's teenZone and the OliveStreet Patio by taking a peek at these new areas, and enjoying some cookies and punch.

2nd Saturday Family Stories -Stories and Puppets and Treats ... Oh, My!, Bloomington Public Library, Community Room, 11am. Children young and old are welcome to come listen to storyteller Vivian Carten present stories written by Louisa May Alcott. There will be light refreshments afterwards.

Labor Day Parade, Front Street to Miller Park, 9am. The Parade will feature area marching bands, different union locals, construction equipment, political officials, candidates and community organizations. The Parade lines up on Front Street at 9 a.m. and then at 10 a.m. marches west on Front Street to Lee Street, south on Lee Street to Wood Street, and then west on Wood Street to Miller Park. If you're in the Blo-No area, we're looking for the following donations, please:

Sponges
Laundry Soap
Scrubbing Bubbles
Lysol
Brooms
Mops

These will be given to our local promise council who assists elementary students, and their families! It's a great, great program, and although Retire With Coupons provides hygiene items for this great cause, let's step it up a notch and provide cleaning supplies, too!

The dollar stores sells many of these items, as well, and with coupons, it's possible to find tremendous deals!
