Hey people! Time for another screenshot update! Here we have some pictures from the Worgen and Goblin starting zones along with some more world exploration stuff, and a few pics of new guild abilities and the last picture is of a new guild achievement! (have a read its quite funny!)

Coming up in the week will be a 5-part video covering the Rambo quest line in Redridge for alliance players. Its Epic!

Also a video with some funny bugs and a visit to some of your favourite places in game.

Latest Cataclysm Beta Talents

Ok so the Beta has been updated, and while my client is busy downloading the patch I’ve had a nose about mmo-champions talent thingy.

As you can see all 3 tree’s have been pruned quite a bit. The following talents will be given to us as we level up starting at level 10:

Two-Handed Weapon Specialization
Divine Storm
Sheath of Light
Divine Purpose

Not sure what level we’ll be getting them, but Blizzard did say that Divine Storm would be level 10, then changed their minds! So who knows at this point.

Another thing to note is the bottom talent in the ret tree is currently missing an explanation as to what it is – Divine Retribution.

Seal of Command has now become ‘Seals of Retribution’ Your damaging seals now also deal 15% weapon damage each time you swing, and your Seal of Righteousness now hits up to 2 additional targets.

Also Sanctified Retribution doesnt change as you put the 3 points in for some reason. Not sure if this is a bug with the talent calculator or not, but we’ll see in the beta once I’m patched.

So going with what I’d have now in the live servers we’d have a 0/3/37 (with a point spare – anyone wanna give a suggestion on a good place to put it? Seems like we’re missing something! Anyone else notice that the holy and protection tree’s have 4 columns and we only get 3?)

I’m eager to get in and start testing, but its taking an age to download!! 2 hours for 300 meg? C’mon!!! AND I bet its not the last of the patch either!! Grrr!!

Cataclysm Beta – Day 2

Hello gain! Been playing a lot in the beta today – moved onto the Worgen stuff see how things work out there and its been quite a bit of fun! I even got to experience the cataclysm itself from inside a basement of a house!

In todays gallery you’ll see pics from the Worgen zones, and I also copied Firelight onto the beta realms to have a look around.

From a paladin point of view things have changed quite a bit – firstly damage is up compared to the live realms, and also so are my hit points! (up about 6k)

Also it appears as though Holy Shock is now available to all specs and crits for 6/7k or there abouts. Which is lovely!

Also Consecration has changed – for some reason it seems to last 16 seconds on screen (and a cool timer you get below your portrait!) and the damage it does has dropped about 100 per tick, but now it crits! Craaaaazy times!

…and yes…thats me flying around Iron Forge!

Cataclysm Beta – Day 1

Hey guys, well the beta took the best part of 12 hours to download and install! Doh! But I’m in and had a quick go of the starting area for Worgen and a pretty comprehensive look at the Goblin initial Zone.

All in all – so far I’m pretty impressed with what I’ve seen, lots of new things to see and hear. (sadly no music yet or voice overs for worgen/goblins)

Woohoo! Got my Beta Key!!

Installing as I write this post:

I’m going to be trying out a few things in the beta, but one thing i’m NOT going to doing is hitting the level 80-85 content.

I will be looking at the Goblin and Worgen Starting area, but not too heavily, and also checking out the rest of the old world reshaped.

I will also be rolling a Tauren Paladin to see how all that plays out as well!

If anyone wants any info or specific screen shots – just ask! I’ll be posting pics on here in glorious 1920×1080.
