A beautiful movie but it forgets the mathematical journey of Shakuntala Devi

What do you expect from a movie named after a genius? Previously there were few Hollywood movies made about mathematics, but I don’t remember Bollywood had any (apart Super 30 of Anand Kumar). As a student of Math, a movie about Human-computer Shakuntala Devi appealed to me, unlike any other regular movies.

A life journey of a mathematician who holds a Guinness World Record for the fastest mental calculation would be an inspiration and treat for anyone who watches her. Vidya Balan as Shakuntala Devi is a justice done to the character. Amazon Prime premiered the movie in the last week of July 2020. Sadly, the audio is available only in the Hindi language, but it has an English subtitle.

Shakuntala Devi, with no formal schooling and education, had limitless math solving ability and outperforms in shows starting from Bangalore of India to the various parts of the world. But the movie is more about her personal relationships with her mother and her daughter than about her mathematical achievements. This movie is a collection of experiences of the journey of forgiveness to her mother, which she realizes after she encounters the problem in a relationship with her daughter.

I expected that movie will talk more about Shakuntala Devi’s struggle in mathematical success, however, it seems to avoid most of them. Yes, the movie also talks about lots of fascinating math shows, but I wish it also had stories of her hurdles and achievements as a woman mathematician which she encountered in her life.

The 127-minute long movie is more like a family movie. From the beginning to the end, the story evolves mostly in a common language understood by common people, as viewers do not need any mathematics knowledge. Apart from the few animations of numbers shown on the screen, the movie has very little to do with mathematics but mostly Shakuntala Devi's personal life.

Did the production house of Shakuntala Devi forget about the advantage of dubbing in additional language? The movie could reach a bigger audience in that case.

I wish, in the future when a director makes a biopic movie, I wish they do not forget to elaborate on the work of those gems.

After attracted by very good configuration and features of UMIDIGI A5 Pro, Did you order this phone from AliExpress just to land in shock?

Yes, Even I had to. In the third week of May, UMIDIGI marketed its product and within three days, more than 12000 pieces were sold at about 95 dollar price.

The special feature of this phone is 4GB RAM with 32 GB ROM, P23 helium octa core and triple camera.

The phone looks decent. That is why till now as of 13th June 2019, more than 19000 pieces are sold in aliexpress. But wait, let me also tell you that none of them has yet been shipped.

In the information before buying, they nowhere mention that this is pre-order. Only after buying you see information like this.

As of 21st May, when I bought a phone on the second day of sale, the processing time was 45 days and it has not yet been shipped till today.

It was confirmed to me by shipper in a message saying,

Dear buyer, the A5 Pro is pre-sale, it will be in stock next month（Expected on the 12th，maybe early）.When we get the stock, we will ship each customer according to the order, thank you for your patience.

While initial estimation was 12th June, later they changed the date to 25th June with the following type of message.

I personally had never seen such a long time for the pre-sale phone. By attracting customers in the name of low price, they have collected almost 19000 (nineteen thousand presale order). 12000 of those order were collected on the third day itself while other 7000 are done since then. With such a high number of order, these company might take minimum July 15 to ship all these orders.

Let's say, every phone at the price of 90 $ bought in advance of 45 days, total money they collected is

90 * 19000 = 1,710,000$

i.e. One million and seven hundred and ten thousand dollars.

WOoooooo. This is a very big amount to collect for investment.

The bad part of this Pre-sale scam is that customer don't know about this before they buy.

And yes, to the worst,
this phone doesn't have any insurance. So, if it stops in mid-way, you are gone!

It may be gone actually.

Simply, An Anurag Basu Film

He is known for his beautiful love story Gangster that has touched heart of many people. He is known for his unique story like Life in the Metro, and he even don't need to insert dialogues to communicate through the movie like as of 'Barfi'. He has been outstanding and undoubtedly, one of the successful director of Bollywood, though he might have taken very few project. Along with Story and direction, all his movie has one thing special, i.e. great combo of music! I have loved most of them especially from Kites, "Zindagi, Do pal ki" and 'Baatein Kuch Ankahee' from Life in A metro.

Having witness his work in many of the big movies of Bollywood, I got an opportunity to watch the special preview of Sunsilk Real FM, all thanks to Indiblogger and SunSilk who had organized the meet. What appealed me for going to this Movie was its promo and the name, Anurag Basu. In the end, film turned out more than what I could ever expected and one of the best entertainer produced for small screen.

Plot of the Film 'Sunsilk Real Fm'

The film Real FM is in real trouble. Misguided by an arrogant employer, all the staff working in FM wants hike in their monthly salary threatening for Combined quit. Failing to convince his staff, Rhea's father gets heart attack.

The next day is 'Independence day' for the country but for Rhea, everything is in stake. She has to run her radio without the help of any regular staff. Quite difficult is to handle the music and sound System of FM, but Rhea does it along with her friend. She not only broadcasts the radio, she makes the day very special, to celebrate the indepedence day with special programs. Of course, there are many hurdles around, but as a matured girl, she deals every of them with confidence and her talent. She has three friends with her Natasha, Salomi and Akanksha. All special in their own way, all performing in their own way.

So, you need to see how do Rhea really make things on her way? What are the interesting stuff she does it in the challenging day of Independence day? What are the challenges she faces? Then what will be the climax? Watch more on 7 PM, Sunday, 23rd March 2014 on MTV.

The film 'Sunsilk Real FM' is story of Rhea and her friends who deals with life changing challenge. Though the Story moves around these girls who handles the problem to save their stake, there are many issues film deals with, yet entertaining viewer with comedy, music, dialogues and stunning performances rarely to be seen for small screen.

Written by Anurag Basu himself, Story works very well. He has compromised in no way thinking it is just a small screen. Film focuses on many of issues that is around our surrounding. The first one is related with women empowerment. Yes, today a girl can do anything. When they are given the opportunity, they can not only excel in their talent, but they can also handle things very well. Determination of Rhea, Smartness of Natasha, Uniqueness of Akanksha and talent of Saloni. Rhea leads the show where saloni steals the climax with her beautiful performance.

Another issue that movie mentions is about people outside from Mumbai. They are well captured in smart way, making viewer notice of it on different occasion. The repetitive persecution to North Indians and comments to North East as 'Chinese or Chini' is kept within the film with every individual having their own story.

Music

Undoubtedly, Music is one of the best part of the movie. 28 States and their Songs, this is one of the best theme which any film/movie might have mentioned before this. We think much about cultural integrity, but we rarely reflect it in our action. But this time, Story of the movie includes all of them. They might be imperfect in their limitation, but still giving a message about our rich culture and in-depth Indian music. Story accepts the 28 states music. To know how, watch the film.

Different types of music are kept within the film. From Chhatisgarh to Punjab, Gujarat to Tripura and Tamilnadu to Kashmir. They give true satisfaction when we watch this, not only the entertainment.

I am sure, you will love the last song sang by Saloni in the Film. That is one of the most beautiful part of film. "Chhote chhote khusi ke liye". Lyrics is fantastic and you want to keep listening it again and again.

One question may arise in every mind as I had. When the title is embedded with Sunsilk, it might be product centric. No, the film is pure entertainer and as Anurag Basu himself said in one of video, the idea has been extracted from Brand and sunsilk brings no disturbance within the entire part of film.

Akarsh Khurana Direction works very good. I wish to see this film in Big Screen itself. It will really work.

The first film of MTV films by Sunsilk is beautifully made. Hope other films in this series have similar effort and they are worthy to watch.

#SkyScanning Indiblogger at 'Le Meredian' Meet on 1st March 2014 is my forth Indiblogger Meet in New Delhi. I managed to register after few seats were added, I kept myself free for this day and reached the venue without any delay. During the way, I was wondering, What Algorithm of Graph Theory (This is where I am doing my M.Sc. Mathematics thesis about) SkyScanner might be using to optimize the cost and distance of Traveller.

My auto Landed at the gate of Le-Meredian. Like as of earlier times, Indiblogger has compromised in nothing including the Venue. I was entering this place for the first time. Thanks to Indiblogger. I greeted with Nihal when he said me you had attend the last one too. He remembered me while I am equally bad in forgetting people name. I asked his name and he replied humbly!

After Registration, I started talking with few of new people. I started my lunch. It was delicious. The Baked fish and Chicken, I loved them and had it twice. After keeping my plate, I went to have desert and sweets. Rabri was the most effective one. So Delicious, So Sweet! Many people were talking about Rabri being fantastically extra-ordinary!

I took bit of strawberry ice cream forgetting that I am still to recover from Cold fever. I sat in a seat and introduced with few new friends. All are tech bloggers and Most of them are Engineer! May be one third of hall is filled with engineers. I shared about myself too. When I say, I am M.Sc. Mathematician, People say, that's really great!

The meet started when Anoop declared the winner of best travel picture. The ever enthusiastic Anoop is hosting it like few of earlier times, he does it well! I didn't win this time too. But few more prizes coming up. Yeah! Let's hope something inside the box is for me also.

Then Began the Presentation by SkyScanner team. The representative was trying to make us understand about the skyscanner which most of us hadn't heard before. Seems like a good place to optimize the travelling expense. That was the time when I got to know Sky Scanner is something different than others. The representative was kind to deliver short presentation. Anoop announced a contest of couple self click photo. I took couple of pictures with my friends sitting at my table.

Meanwhile I found my blogger friend whom I had introduce in my first indiblogger meet in Blue Frog, Qutub Minar. He is Abhishek Talreja. We were happy to see each other. We took a self picture of each other and then he uploaded. Anoop announced something which made me sure that he is giving gifts to those who is sitting. So with few cleverness and bit luck, Abhishek and I managed to keep sitting till the last and made sure we got the gift. The gift which had pen drive in form of hand rubber band was really unique. I said, I needed a pen drive, Wow!.

Group Activity followed. We got in the 3rdd group. During the group, I met two other good people. Firstly, she was Ragini Puri, the former journalist and second was Rahul Prabhakar. I had met them in the last meet of Nokia Indiblogger meet held in Oberoi. But this meet gave me time to have some more good talk with them. Rahul was our team leader who was preparing the total expense of world trip. It was nice to see him being so humble and at the same time he was so smart! We managed to get our expense in about 2 lakhs. We were enthusiastic and as a group we were happy with each other. High Tea followed the later. This time, Abhishek, Ragini, Jayantha and I had good time sharing about each other.

Winner were anounced for Group Activity. We didn't win. Then followed some travel experience. Few were Good. But most of the time, it was like all people wanted to speak and few wanted to listen. I wonder what the group winners got. Was It Secret? Hope someone from the winning group will share it.

The meet ended. We were all happy with two each of t-shirts and travel bag We had got. I returned back with Jayanth and Ragini conlcuding it was one of the beautiful meet organized by Indiblogger. Hats off to Indiblogger team who organized it so well. Yummy Food, Beautiful moments and Memorable experience

Overall, I loved the meet for many reason, Thanks to Indiblogger team. They are always great to attend and hope to see many such in coming days.

Meanwhile, My eagerness to know about Algorithm of Graph theory used in Sky Scanner is still unsolved. Hope I get it solved within

In 2013, three super-hit movies crossed magical figure of two hundred crores. Reaching to this record was landmark for not only movies, actors and directors, but it was also for Bollywood where only one movies before that time had achieved that feat. Sadly, all of these three movies were not only heavily criticized, but given thumps down by many group of viewers. Though Salman Khan himself had not featured in any of these movies, many people preferred staying out first day show of his latest Release 'Jai Ho'. The reason is same: his last few movies, BodyGaurd, Ek tha Tiger and Dabaang 2 were not widely accepted beyond his fan circle, though they were commercially super hit. No doubt, with huge fan following of Salman Khan, his movies are in safe side but it was to see how this movie is made. People were waiting if it is just a commercial movie or something that can be said, 'Jai Ho'!

As fenil seta mentioned in his bollywood talk, 'Jai Ho' was not promoted in such high level and I myself didn't knew about the movie till I saw promo 2 weeks back. I had not watched its original telegu version 'Stalin', but I liked the promo and hence went to see it. Thankfully, I could make it in first day first show. No matter I had to spend around 400 bucks as total expense, I came out of theater with satisfied and happy face with determination, I will see it second time also. Truly, It is one of the very few movie which has made me feel so.

Few years back, Raj Kumar Hirani had made "Lage Raho Munna Bhai". The theme of the movie not only went viral among the people, but Gandhigiri thought was also taken by people which brought positive response. 3 Idiot brought a good message about educational revolution. From today onwards, there will be one more name, 'Jai Ho'.

Plot of the Story

For not following the order of High Commands during a terrorist attack, Salman Khan as 'Jai' was suspended from army. He keeps helping people in their need. In one of the scene in school, he encounters with Genelia Deshmukh as 'Suman'. Being handicapped, she asks for the help to write her exam. Jai helps her. During her next exam, when her brother was on the way to help her, he was trapped in traffic jam. The road was block for the security of 'Home minister Denny Denzgonpa as Dasrath Singh's Daughter. Suman finds helps from no one. With frustration, She takes her own life. Her brother files an fire against misuse of security but he finds no way.

In another scene, Jai smartly catches a thief that has stolen a child of one family. They thank him where he replies the above mentioned first line dialogue. Similarly he keeps helping many other people and spreading a message, "Don't thank me, but help other three people in a need and ask them to help other three." To spread this good message, he meets with earlier people whom he has helped. They reply him with excuses stating about their busy life. There are the ways to be disappointed, but his mother says, don't give it up.

With his personal rivarly reaching Home Minister Dasrath Singh, story goes ahead in second half. Lots of actions, music, jokes and a message to spread, this is all about Jai Ho!

My view

The Story works very well. Despite being remake of telegu movie, the movie is a treat for everyone who watches them. Movie starts with a Song "Love you till the end" and Salman Khan entering is like his earlier movies. The action and then Song, "Apna Kaam Banta, Bhaad me jaye janta". In starting first half an hour, song comes repetitively one after another. Salman Khan Dance, Acting and action are awesome as you can see people shouting and hooting. There are fight and stuns where you find Salman Khan conquering other like One man Army. First half is entertaining. The story peaks at times where they start sharing the message and you will feel really amazed. Yes, the telugu movie had also same story but even if you see with the already known, you will find it superb. Your nerves will be cold and along with those packs of entertainments, you will be in conclusion, "Has any such movies been made in Bollywood? Has any well-known actor played his role so effectively?.

There are many different scene in the first half that makes the base for second half. Second half is bit lengthy, slow in starting and has some comedy and songs. I personally felt it was like disturbing the joy of watching this movie. It was not because they were boring or they had any low performance but it will look like we have switched to other channel. Still, once the drama begins, it works very well. Movie keeps the pace and last half an hour is full of everything you need. Salman fight is the again you will love but more than that the spreading of message which was started in first half. The climax is superb that can make you happy, letting you forget if there were any errors or dull moment during any part of movie

Some Comedy works but few poor jokes should have been avoided. One of the worst joke is pink color underwear. Though this makes people around you laugh, but this is not the sensible joke that a movie of this level can afford to keep. When you see the movie, you realize some of the plot are kept by random mind. When Jai is helping a disable girl for her exam, it shows he is helping in the same class where others are giving exam. It is always known that there will be separate exam room for physically challenged students. During the climax time, you keep wondering how will army crane come suddenly in the Mumbai-pune highway. It is even taken inside the compound of city hospital. It is good to watch but director should have thought about some realistic plot instead.

One of the best thing I liked about this movie is its theme. What can be good way to motivate people. There have been many low-budget movies that was made for some cause, but we have rarely seen star celebrity doing such movie. A man with millions of fan around him has done it and it is to see how people take this message.

Performance

Salman Khan has given so many good performances in past that it will be injustice for other movies to say Jai Ho as best performing movies. I am sure, even he will remember this for his extra-notable peformance. The Script, Story and Theme of Movie is above average, but its Salman and only Salman who steals the show. Tabbu as sister of salman khan plays very well and she has given good support to Jai's role. In fact, she has greater role than new actress Daisy Shah. The only time Diasy is shown with the focus is during her dance in the song Nacho Re. She has not been given the focus of movie and she has limited role to play, and some more role in this debut movie could have been her dream come true in bollywood. Yash Tonk as friend of Jai has some few good role to play. The main antagonist Dasrath and his son, is seen only in the second half of movie but they have a very powerful performance though Dany has limited. Sunil Shetty, Genelia Deshmukh are in special apperance. The role of Jai's mother could have been better played. Overall, the cast performance is average but its Salman who rocks the entire show.

Music of the movies is average. They could have been placed well. Repetitive songs halts the story line, especially 'Tere Naina' and 'Tumko to aana hi tha...'. The title song Jai Ho is kept in end, which is another disappointment. They could have place it somewhere in second half. You can see more in my songs review of Jai ho.

As I said earlier, script works very well. Hats off to story and Direction. Sohail Khan must be happy with his direction and there are many more place to improve in coming time.

Overall, the movie is one of the best I have seen in Bollywood. Dialogues are entertaining and the main idea of movie will be remembered for long time. If this good message spreads well, we can expect many such movies to come in coming time. It is not only the mass movie where you see action, drama and comedy, but it is also the movie for good cause. And Believe me, you can see it again and again...

A must watch, if not in theater, atleast in television. But if you are watching it in home, you will miss

the salman effect that you find in theaters. Don't miss the show, Grab it.

Yes, as there is one dialogue where Salman Khan Says, "One man can make a difference". In reply to this, I say, One movie can make a Difference.

A Drive to Nariman

"You are completely stupid and not worthy of anything." She disconnects the call, getting angry on Suraj, for not being able to arrange time for tomorrow's, first day first show of 'The Lunch box'.

It's her habit, She disconnects the call, but she means that, he should call her again. He does it.
Her Phone rings up with one of their favorite song as ringing tone, "Baatein Kuch Ankaahe Si, Kuch Ann Suni Se Honelagi". She picks up, but remains silent. He knows that, she is waiting to hear from him, more of all, she is waiting for an affirmative answer. He speaks, "Aakriti, I actually can't avoid tomorrow's meeting, It's very important for me, So Let's postpone the movie plan, I promise to take you to Nariman Point tomorrow evening"
She remains silent..
He asks "Kuch to Bolo...."

she speaks, "I am not free tomorrow evening...". She disconnects the call.

He feels, Her eagerness to meet him is justified. Movie was just an excuse, but what she all needed was him. She wants to hold him, and be with him. But due to his recent busy time in office, he had not met her since last two weeks.

Despite her denial, he knows she wants him to call back, but he doesn't, because he has a better plan for mid-night.

He drives his new car to her place at Navjeevan society, Chembur from Agarwadi, Mankhurd, 5 mins ride.

The new car is a surprise for her.

He parked his car at the nearby place, and calls her. She picks up the call and said, "Don't call me again, I am angry on you...".

He tries to say something, but she disconnects it. She can do it, because he made her wait for 10 minutes.

He texts her, "Lets go to Nariman Point now, I am waiting outside your society". He patiently waits for the message to be delivered, and waiting for her reply. 5 Minutes passed, but he did not get any reply...

He calls her again, but what he sees, makes him stunned.

Aakriti is coming out of the gate, and he waives his hand to greet her. She is happy to see him and even he is.

He opens the door, and she enters the car. He notices that, she felt something fresh inside the car, something different.

"You know Aakriti, its full-moon night today......"
"I myself told you earlier...." replies Aakriti.

He knows, she is happy to meet him, after such a long time. Silence prevails, and he needs to break the ice.

He starts the car and switches on the AC. He slowly increases the level of fragrance in Ambi Pur installed in AC Vent of his car. The aroma, that mixed with air inside the car worked. The air became so fresh.

She smiles, and He knows that Ambi Pur worked.

She asks, "When did you buy it?"
What? My new car?

"No Stupid, I had seen your car two days back itself. I am talking about this Ambi pur. I like this fragrance of Vanilla...."

"Yeah, I know that....."

"I bought it yesterday morning, but installed it a while back. And, I can see, its working quite well now..."
"Yeah Sweetheart, I am drowned in the love at First sight with this Ambi Pur, like you had for me....."

She laughs. Then, he plays their favorite song:

The Ambi Pur has not only eliminated the inside odour, but also motivated to open the window for fresh air. Throughout the ride, she enjoyed the beauty of Mumbai in the Road through Sion Flyover, Dadar and Parel flyover and JJ flyover.

And they reached Nariman Point, the place where they wanted to be together, during midnight, since very long time.

On reaching, he parks his car, while, he can see her, dancing with happiness.

He joins her, and holds her hand. It starts raining slowly, but this rain will not stop them today. They want to be together and they are. She is singing her favorite song. She is moving her steps here and there, sometime running and sometime just on still and yet he is holding one of her hands. She is smiling, she is happy and she is expressing those moments on loud voice like a crazy girl while he is simply looking at her, glaring at her eyes and holding her fingers. She is enjoying the artificial light around Nariman Point of Queen's necklace, while, He captures the moment in Camera, to save it for future.

He knows, he has given her another special moment and she knows he is happy to see her like that. Happiness and Specialty, they both existed within them, for each other, because of each other. And this is something called as Love, the love they had rarely witnessed and the one they wanted to experience as their soul-mates ever since they, knew each other.

Love is in the air and the every blow of wind passing through him touches her. The fresh air, she had in drive has changed her mood. She has always been so close to him, understanding his Love. But then many of those times she had, let it go, unexpressed. She is a girl, and she has many other primary things for her life and She knows he has always understood those moments of her life. Yet, she knows his disappointments, he had met, during her personal choices. He waited, waited and waited, hiding his frustrations just to wait for his love, to wait for her confessions and to wait her accept him as she has today. She can feel it and She will always.

The Rain interrupts their romance at Arabian Sea. It is raining heavier now. So He asks her, "Shall we continue our ride?".

Yes, She wants him to avoid rain, but today she is also tempted to stay inside the car. They entered the car and tighten their seat belt; and he keeps moving on Marine Drive.

He asks, "Did you like it?"

She smiles. He returns a smile. In some time, they reach Girgaon Chowpatty, opposite to Wilson College where they waited for the heavy rain to stop. Meanwhile, Aakriti asks for the camera. There were many pictures, including the few of consecutive shots. Those consecutive shots had almost no differences at all. Same pose, same background, same angles too, but he could term each of them as different pics. Few photos were blur, few were shaken but still they had some or other impressions. She acts as if she is going to delete few of pics and he immediately responds against it. She knows that he doesn't like deleting any of them. Both of them know the others heart and feel their needs, still no one chose to express.

she tilts her head on his shoulder, and he extends his left hand on her shoulder. Both of them keep quite for a moment, while she is busy watching the photos. He has always said her 'you are cute, and she keeps wondering, what is that something, which makes him feel about her, from the depth of his heart'. she is about to ask him something, but he speaks before she could speak.

"You know, your pictures are really beautiful"

"Hmmm... Is it? May be because I am photogenic"

He knows, she wants to hear something else. He replies. "I meant, you look really beautiful. You are the cutest girl, I have ever seen."

She was blessed to hear such words from him, as always. There were many guys who had appreciated her beauty and, also there were many, who had complimented her looks, but nothing ever matters other than his words. She loves hearing them again and again, because, she knows that he speaks truth from his heart.

She knows what those words means for him, and those expression also meant something to him. She decides to take the conversation a little longer.

" What if, someday you find, I've grown old and my beauty is not appealing as today?"

He knows that, behind this question, there is a voice of girl whom he adores more than anything.

He replies, "I'll fill my mind and heart with the memories of your most beautiful reflections and shall look at you with those memories, every time you speak to me..."

She knows, he always loved to listen from her. Her voice, during happiness, during craziness, during success and in the times of pain; each of them was worth listening.

So she asks him, "What if you find my voice not so melodious then?"

Then, I'll play (recorded) the best conversations we ever had, and look at your pictures, to say, you're the blessing for me, my princess"

He knows, what she wants to listen. His every word touches her heart. Yet she continues "I doubt whether, you will be calling me princess even then...."

"Do you doubt, just over those words or you doubt my faithfulness?"

She doesn't. She has known him so closely for last four years, that she can even predict his next step on most of the time. She instead choose not to reply his questions. After all, she is his sweet heart and she can take some of such things for granted. She asks another question, "what if I'm not there to hear these Golden words?"

"you've won the arguments. Let's change the topic..." He voluntarily surrenders. She knows he never wants to hear those words, nor he wants to think about such. Neither she intended to speak such.. But.. But She knows that he will understand her and He does too.

She speaks, " It Seems, that someone is not able to detect the beautiful Vanilla fragrance of Ambi Pur that lasts till 45 days?"?
Smiles return back to him. He holds her, pulling her towards himself and saying, "No, the environment is decorated with beautiful fragrance, but... "
"But? But what....?"

looking at her eyes, he says, "I want to experience this beautiful smell through my lips and my tongue...." She diverts her eyes, hiding the eye contact, yet looking at him through mirrors. She knew what he desires, still she says, "Ambi pur Mini Velt is not to be cut or leaked, It is not for drinking you know..." Some of her childish talk tempts him to be closer to her, But this beautiful moment is something different today. His lips reach closer to her and She moves herself nearer, Letting each other drink the finest taste of night in the presence of enticing aroma of air freshener of Ambi Pur in the fragrance of vanilla.

They stay with silence to enjoy the Arabian sea and its high produced wave. The depth of dark water reflects some of the stars present in the sky of full-moon night. She is looking at those stars with all the concentration, maybe she is counting them or maybe she is only thinking about counting.

There is always a debate "if SRK should try releasing his movies on non-festival time to find out how well his movies really do in market?" After getting his last movie Jab tak hai Jaan getting released in diwali, SRK's red chilly is back with Chennai Express. To support him, director is a man who has given back to back hit in last few years, Rohit Shetty. In few of his interviews Rohit himself had expressed his happiness of being able to work with Shah Rukh Khan. Same Feelings should have gone through SRK also, especially when his movies were not appreciated by Audience. In somewhat, Chennai Express was suppose to bring back his stardom and clear the doubt if King Khan Era is in stake (if any had). So the film is out and hopefully verdict will be released through words of Viewers within next few days.

Let me start with plot.

Rahul's (Shah Rukh Khan) Grandfather has his last wish, to get ashes of his decomposed body to be deposited in two different rivers; first one is Ganga where Rahul's Grandmother goes away while the second one is Rameshwaram. Rahul and his friends have a plan to do 'bisarjan' in Goa. Rahul takes the train Chennai Express hoping he will un-board at kalyan, but arrival of Meena or Meenamba( I am sorry if I am spelling it wrong, (Deepika Padukone) inside the compartment prevents him to go away. Meena was running away from her father to be escape marriage but her father's man take both of them to their village. To be saved from marriage, she lies that Rahul and She Love each other. They are welcomed to home but being unaware of Tamil language, Rahul invites few other troubles. The rest of the story is all about quarrel between SRK and deepika, run and chase, few actions, little romance and an attempt to make emotional ending (Not sure if it is succeeded)

Pros of the movie.

SRK has tried giving his good performance for the movie (but not sure if he himself counts it as one of his best acting). As a 40 years old bachelor in the movie (quite nearer to his actual age), he has done a very good job. Deepika Padukone is undoubtedly the best things to be noticed in Chennai Express and her role seems more appealing even than of SRK. While she has worked very hard for her Tamil tune, her acting is fabulous. Other supporting actor is good with their role as most of the time they speak in Tamil only.

The direction of Rohit Shetty is another thing to be noted here though Chennai Express is not among those action packed movies he had directed in last few years. Few of Car Blows and little action are interesting to watch out, but there are not so much of actions here (as you might expect from Rohit Shetty's movie). But nonetheless, his other attempts like comedy work to some extent.

The other best part of movie is photography of beautiful nature. Early from the journey of train, beautiful scene is neatly captured. Shots are taken in such a place that you will just keep saying, 'wow... what a beautiful place'. The halt of train at Deepika's place, the village, The sea-scenario in second half, Tea Garden during one of song, Shot of Rameshwaran bridge and many such which you can't count. People will be able to see the beautiful part of Incredible India.

Music are at average. The song "Kashmir mai to kanyakumari" is best among them. Other songs are pretty good and you will like them though there are not much songs. The background tune and other sound factors are good.

Cons

one of the bad point of this movie is SRK himself (Sorry for SRK fan who might be targeting this review in comment box, but it is true). His acting, his voice and his comedy keeps showing that the role of DDLJ no more fits on him. His name might bring audience towards theatre, Action works to some extent, but not much that movie can leave positive response to get praise of words from viewers. So SRK himself may not be willing to remember this movie after some days. Not to forget, Chennai Express is in talk because of Rohit Shetty's also, So had it not been Rohit direction and Deepika's role, movie would have suffered on huge amount.

Comedy doesn't works with movie. Some old punch of jokes, Some weird acting aren't good enough to save the movie though Hindi antakshiri gives some laugh to audience. Romance starts only after half an hour of second half. The first half is boring on most of the time and same continues in second half. Still, Last 30 minutes is the duration where movie picks up including romance, beautiful song and the climax.

There is no such special plot to be mentioned in the story. It looks dull in overall. No twist expected anywhere in the story and story is like a common romance movie. Audience can even sleep for 15 minutes, wake up, still they will understand the complete story. I wish there was some twist or some good story within the movie.

Most part of the movie is shot on Tamil. So I wish there was subtitle on those time where Tamil was spoken. Character speak Tamil and audience can only keep wondering what might be its meaning.

My conclusion

This movie is answer to SRK that he should try something other than love story and he should give an attempt to release the movie other than festival season. No doubt that his contribution in Bollywood is widely accepted and he is considered as King Khan, but it's a time for a break and he needs to perform something like Chak de India as he is no more Rahul of DDLJ and KKHH.

And we audience keep missing the good movies just to wait for movies of star. It has happened that movies released during festival get a good run in box-office though they are not good enough, and we neglect very good movies which will surely decrease the motivation for good creatives. We are mature enough to judge what is good and what is wrong, and if we won't do it, when we will do it?

My rating 1.5 out of 5. (for the climax, Scenario and Song)

Recommendation:- No (because it's too boring on first half and you will be disappointed with SRK)

College life are the one where we experience transformations in our life. We get many friends in our life who come to us as strangers but they leave a huge mark in our life to live in our heart for upcoming times. Success, failures and Struggling keeps happening while fame and criticism are inseparable part. While some of our mistakes may keep hunting us in time to time; there will be glorious moments to stay memorable for rest of the time.

After their huge success of first Co-authored Book, If its not forever; Nikita Singh and Durjoy Datta have published ’Someone like you’ , this time with thePenguin India. They have kept story tagline of book as’Friendship, Love and Betrayal’. Unlike their earlier book ’If its not forever’ , , the first person in this book is a girl which makes ’Someone Like you’ a readable story of ’Niharika’ and her friends.

Story plot

Niharika is a an average looking girl of Jaipur who has to join engineering college in few days time. Her Sister Simran, Studying in New Delhi wants her to visit before college starts. Few days in Delhi transforms Niharika from a specs girl to beautiful and above average girl. Looking at the way Viraat (Simran’s boy friend) cares them, she has an urge to get someone like him. Just few days before joining her new college, she mets Akshat,a handsome and rich guy in Jaipur. In short time, she likes him and she feel he really cares about her.

As she reaches her new College, She find her days along with Tanmay a kid looking shy guy and Pia as her roommate cum class friend. Karthik , her college seniors helps these 3 guys, especially Tanmay in getting to College Football team. As Tanmay starts getting success in football, some incident occurs to shake their life and story goes ahead.

My view

When a girl writes the fiction; she has her own sets of protocol to follow. No doubt the content of book will be girlish, still the book has something to tell for her readers, especially girls of their generation rather than just entertainment found in book of some male writer. Someone Like you is the similar story written from Girl Perception where Nikita Singh along with Durjoy Datta write about the average looking girl Niharika and her college time, her dilemma regarding Akshat and karthik, her friendship with Tanmay and Pia and also about other relationships they exists within us. Most part of the story is clean and neatly written unless in some clashing incidents where story is written as like of real life.

If you have read their earlier books, you can distinguish which parts are writtnen by Nikita and which are written by Durjoy Datta. So within the book , we can find two different way of writing. The most of the part is written by Nikita herself though. There are some other stage where She has focused trying to convey hidden messages for her reader, especially from the relationship between Niharika and Akshat and between Pia and Vishal.

Initially story looks like it is long by 50 pages, but as it goes ahead, the incident falling at proper time well justifies length of book though i felt It could have been shorten by 10-20 pages. story starts with Niharika as average looking girl with very few boys around but things are not the same once she returns from Delhi and attends the college in Nagpur. Nikita attempt to show Relation between sisters, Friendship and Revenge for Betrayal are different then her earlier stories which she has penned. She has wisely undisclosed about whom Niharika will fall for, till almost end part of Book

Some incident which Niharika is unknown about are included in quoted form as if Narrator is explaining the plot. So two quoted chapters in fiction adds a value to the climax. Story might not be suspense in many way and predictable in many instances, yet it is worthy to read if you have been reading their books. If you are the one who feel Durjoy Datta and Nikita Singh are not the writer you read, then you may skip this one. Overall the language are simple and understood in one easy go.

One of the best part of their last Book, "If its not forever" was that it was good from the literature part also, which writers are writing it in simple way and hardly any creativity are poured from the literature aspects. The description of any person, their look or their quality are just simple. Few poems or some good lines could have been used to make a book better, So this is where the book is lacking and at times you feel bore while going through 248 pages. In other way, it is just one time read where you hardly want to re-read once you are finished with it.

Conclusion:-
Though writing about Love and Relationship in college life is ongoing trend; incident happened in plots are different than of earlier fiction. It is not of the level of If its not forever as that one was really interesting, still it is good enough. The 248 pages long Book is a good piece of creation and reflects understanding of readers by both of the writers. It would have been better if good literature, some good poems were included

If someday any bollywood director approaches to make it a movie, it will be powerful one.

As the relation goes on smoothly and as we find ourselves deeply involved with each others; there comes a planning for future. With those planning, their come Promises. Promises to be with each other and be part of each other in every of the coming days, either in the miserable phase or the greatest romance. Promises are made hoping they last for lifetime, but if broken, things might be different. Life might be somersaulted and cohesive relation may turn again to strangers.

Nikita Singh after the massive success of her book ’If it’s not forever...’ love story cum suspense book co-authored with Durjoy Dutta had released another book in first week of January. This time she has written a romance fiction plotted in city of Madhya Pradesh ’Indore’. The readers don’t have suspense of stories during this book, yet worth reading for few of the plot Nikita has written.

Plot

Sambhavi is a simple girl with her own ideas of life. She has complexity and struggle; yet she is cheerful and energetic. In one of her main project in Interior designing, she met with Arjun; rich and owner of one of the well established furniture. Though Arjun has a huge fame, large money, he is hardworking and isolated. Along with time, they met with each other. In some time, they make promise to fulfill every other promise. But a moment occurs in both of them where Arjun finds himself in the same stage as he was years ago just to find Life and Relations are not as easy as we think they are.

How are promises fared there after? How their life changes and to what they can understand each other? This is all about Promise, a simple Book where you won’t find any thrilling experience but worthy to read; to inspire and to be inspired.

My view

I remember, somebody had said me recently, "Promises are not to be mere in words, they are to be fulfilled through actions as time demands." Well Said. In many of the moments, sometime because of our past and sometime because of our future, we forget the promise we have taken. We fail to fulfill them and Life can be disaster after that. The boy and his group of friends blames girl while the same happens other side. The Game of Blame keeps going on without knowing both have failed in relation and for reconciliation, both need to understand each other.

Nikita Singh has well-utilized the theme of this Book. Romans are always fascinating, but she has shown the cost life can bear from them. In simple reading one can understand the book. As we go through the book after halfway, there comes two plots which are unexpected for sure and they are the incident that fiction travels through. She has not added only problems but the solutions too. She has framed life of Sambhavi in different struggling part and that is for sure going to be ’points to be noted’ or ’ a small step for the change’.

Though the book is focused on the life of Girl, She has not outlined a Guy views in fiction. She has been unbiased and she has shown life from Boy’s perception too. She has focused on his loneliness, his past, his views and also his desire to fulfill the promises. So Book is going to be Good read.

Conclusion-

In her fourth fiction Book, Nikita has shown maturity of writing which she can give her best in coming days. Books could have been better than it is but theme of the book is something which very few writers in modern Indian fiction have written about. Though Book goes very slow and can be boring in first 50 pages but as it reaches the plot, interests are generated. I liked the decency of languages she has used as it is readable. Thank you Nikita for Special care of this.

Hope to see your books will not only be part of entertainment but may they also include thoughts which can bring some good changes in society especially for the contribution of woman.

Movie Review: Son of Sardaar

Movie Review- Son of Sardar-

Diwali 2012, Two Big Movies got released. The pre-release clashes between the production houses regarding the screening of movie were the other unintentional publicity. Whatever be the past, both movies got released: one was filled with beautiful romance while the other was supposed to be comedy action packed. Jab tak hai Jaan (JTHJ) had surely the extra edge because of its hidden plot while Son of Sardaar (SOS) is the remake of southern movies. So in the case of SOS, the plot was partially revealed and one can surely guess what would be its ending. Choosing SOS in place of JTHJ was tough, still because Ajay Devgan has always been one of my favorite actors, I decided to give SOS a try.

Story Plot:-
Jassi Sikh -boy (Ajay Devgan ) stays in London but as he gets the letter of government regarding his property, he travels to his native place to sell the property. In the train from New Delhi, he meets Sonakshi Sinha (Suk). They get friends with each other on the way. In the village, He also meets Sanjay Dutt who in much wait of Jassi for the revenge of his uncle’s murder done by Jassi’s Father. Unknowingly Sanjay Dutt takes Ajay to his home, just to know in later time that Jassi was the one they were looking for. According to the family tradition, enemies were well-respected inside the house but would be killed as soon as they come out. As Ajay gets to know it, he makes several excuses to not to come out of house. This is how film goes on...

My views
As well known by all, SOS as a remake of south-Indian movie, the story plot is no-where hidden. More-ever the climax is guessable as it is family drama. Still, within this range Movie is watchable and can be enjoyed with its comedies and few actions. The starting fight and Salman Khan coming for sometime is exciting while Ajay-Sonakshi conversation in train is filled up with comedy. Chases in different part of movie are fantastic while different comedies inserted within chases will give you enough laughs. Funny lines of Sanjay Dutt is noticeable (though you feel Sanjay Dutt speaking on such way is repetition of his earlier movies. Ajay’s action throughout the movie like fight while riding horse and action before the climax is indeed a crowd puller.

Cons of the movie
Still, movie doesn’t works up to the expectation. There are no many such action and I wished movie would’ve been better had Rohit Shetty directed it. The first action of the movie and few other stunts can’t be easily believed and looks a mere work of fiction though it is enough exciting. Once there was news that Ajay had performed the stunt of riding two horses at a time but seems it was deleted from final print of movie. Comedy in first half is a bit ok while second half goes down until the time Sonakshi is taken for engagement. Love story does create some good moment during the movie but it could have been made much better. Music in the regular interval especially in the second half is quite boring as the songs are not up to the mark and songs flavor look similar in the entire movie (barring the start and end song).

Performance
Ajay’s have performed well in this movie; especially during his stunts he is watchable. He has successfully played comedy role. Sonakshi has performed beautifully in the entire part of the movie while Juhi Chawla’s role as fiancée of Sanjay Dutt can’t be sidelined. Sanjay Dutt in himself had played the antagonist role in Agneepath and he has shown his best in comedy cum antagonist part. Two cousin of Sanjay Dutt have played well and so have the entire crew. In all, movie is well-played within their best by the entire crew, but few more good works from behind the camera could have movie better.

Conclusion
Overall, Movie is a good entertainer. Had it not clashed with JTHJ, movie would have been hit as Ajay’s earlier movie Bol-Bachhan. I found it better than Bol-Bachhan but not as much as Singham (may be its personal flavor and taste). There are no flaws within the Direction but Rohit Shetty and his huge sounds during action are being missed here. Story could have been better and few unexpected climax would have made movie a better piece as it is now, still not to forget, this is the essence of SOS that every time you watch, you will laugh and enjoy the movie.
Good one, but surely not the best. I wish when Ajay can be seen with new story line of the movie (not the remake of old movies).

Ajay fans will enjoy while to fullest while critics will also write against the movie. For others, it will be just the average movie

So, when a customer wants to minimize its budget, he will think twice before buying any product here. Though they sometime sell product with some offer, Price is not satisfactory. More ever, their levels of discount percentage they offer in products have decreased since their opening.

2) Higher scale for free delivery: Since it first arrived, the scale for free delivery was 100, it then changed to 200 and then now it is 300. So this seems a higher scale for the customer who wants to buy just one book, and they end up paying higher charge for delivery. Though it can’t be argued that a specific scale is needed to balanced transaction in both of the party, free delivery after 300 seems a higher scale especially when they have their own couriers. But once when I had to send a book of 250 in the area beyond their coverage, they had speed post it. Although it took more time than expected, it reached safely with their usual packing

3) Some of the weird price:- In some cases, I have found that product price is between 271 to 299, which compels customer to pay more than 300 for a product. In one case, a product is priced 299, this means Rs 329 has to be paid for total delivery, this is indeed a weird price and flipkart need to think about such stupid price that takes extra money from customer.

4) Rare discount coupons available in web : this point can’t be said as drawback of flipkart, but as a customer, we may be opting for discount coupon. So flipkart discount coupons are rarely found on any web (I haven’t found a single one till today, if you have let me know also).

Conclusion:-
For some flipkart is the horrible nightmare as many people might have suffered through its delivery delay, Many People might be frustrated because of defective product they had dispatched, few may have wasted extra money in calling customer care to resolve the disputed issue, but given the condition that a thing will always posses both good and bad parts, I think flipkart posses more of former and its acceptable for online shopping provided shopping are limited to certain boundary. But not to forget, online shopping should be wise enough.

I myself have tried many other online stores but couldn’t find them acceptable. Especially late delivery as they don’t have their own manpower to deliver. So if you have money and you need the product in proper time, Flipkart is always a better option. Price might be higher, but the difference of price is not so high and it’s acceptable if one is seeking some good shopping. It is fast in metros, but it may be different in rural areas.

Market price:- 6400 ( I had brought for this amount but price may vary according to place and time)

Nokia’s music express series in earlier models were one of its popular and accepted phone especially by most of the youth. In the recent time their music express phone especially nokia 5130 had got lots of technical error varying from the date of purchase of fifteen days. Though we expect a phone to work efficiently till atleast one year of purchase, nokia failed to stand up in its expectation. Their one year warranties didn’t either was of any help because a small reason was enough for non-functioning of the phone.

Still, because of the non-availability of new + good + comparative cheaper Sony Ericson phone and my repelling interest towards Samsung phone, I decided to buy Nokia phone as their software function also are user friendly.

Nokia X3-00 was available on 6400.00 in the end of July. It is a 2G phone (not 3G phone)
Their function at the glance were,
1) Music express phone with slide
2) 3.2 mega pixel camera (flash not available)
3) Dedicated button key for music player, volume and camera
4) large display

Accessories available with Nokia X3-00

1) 1) 2 GB memory card free

2) 3.5 mm Headphone (this one is of new type ear-phone which nokia has been providing with its new model. This headphone is better than of their earlier model which looks stable and well-covered too. And thanks that they assembled 3.5 mm Headphone jack which can be connected with computer headphones too)

3) Data cable – but it is again not longer than 1foot. Don’t know why nokia is being so greedy in all these.

4) Charger adaptor and PC suite Cd

It has been more than three months since I am using this phone, and following are my experience regarding their functions and application.

1) Firstly, the most important thing, Phone calling. Phone calling through this phone is better than of nokia’s earlier model. Its voice clarity is good and good network connectivity.

2)      As usual, nokia comes with larger phone book storage power and field option of multiple phone number entries, email and so on. Its flexible option to back up contacts in memory card or pc can be of great help if well-used. This can help you prevention of loss of phone numbers if phone error is found

3)      Battery power is improved than as of other phone but if you are frequent user, its battery power will not company you till the end of second day. So, daily charging is necessity with this phone.

4)      As it has a camera of 3.2 mp, you will love its image. Its clarity are better than of any other brands’ 3.2 mp phone. This gives you function of zooming and cropping of picture in different size as of your need. So cropping through phone itself outcomes better picture than of computer cropping.

5)      The phone memory of this phone is about 64 MB which can be used in storing more number of applications. (but yeah, if you are interested in installing 100s of application, this is not a correct phone for you). Another limitation of using Nokia application is that this phone doesn’t support minimizing application or multiple use of application at a time. So this can be a concern why this function is lacking even in this phone.

6)      Application of E-mail which they have pre-installed in this phone comes with the option of signing in through various email ids. Viewing of personal message of any of your account is a type as of ok! You can compose mail also with the file attachments and using recently used email address too.

But you will experience a big problem in email viewing. Don’t assume it to be as any other E-series or black berry phone.
Here, instead of the given link, you will see the entire html code and web link in any email which is a bit-irritating. Opera mini is better option to this

Inserting/storing of email id through direct phone book is possible, but only to that contact whose rank is upto 100 in phone book order. Suppose if you need adding email contact of person starting from M and in dictionary order, if it its rank is 103, inserting email id of this contact is not possible.

7)      It has the option of hindi language for phone setting as of earlier nokia phone and typing messages in hindi is also possible

8)      It comes with few installed games but also to be noted that its keypad are bit sensitive one and it may not last long.

9)      Message inbox- it can be viewed both in inbox or conversation (Chat) view. As usual, nokia gives you the option to save unlimited number of messages but again, speed of phone functioning is inversely proportional to number of message saved. So if you happen to cross 4000+ sms, your phone may suffer with repetitive hanging and slow functioning.

10)   Advanced web-browser- Here, nokia is trying to give you advance web browser, as through its own browser u can open bigger site. But it has its own limitation. Because this one being 2G phone, internet connection through browser is too slow and if you are using internet with small data plan, you will end up losing money as this one is not so reliable. You can use opera-mini for efficient use.

11)   You-tube video- Through one of its you-tube bookmarks, you can see videos easily on this phone. So, this is good that video playing is smooth with this phone.

12)   With dedicated music keys, you will have an option to play music smoothly and they have separate keys for volume too. Its sound even if played through phone itself are good and of normal sound level which wont irritate you as other Chinese phone. But remember, if you have kept your phone unlocked, your music can be played with just a touch in sensitive time too. It has very good voice clarity

13)   It has wireless fm radio, through which you won’t need headphone to play fm. Fm

14)   I have 2 GB memory card, but if you are a music lover, you can replace with 8 GB memory card. Till that level, I am sure it won’t have any functioning problem till that extent as it extended memory is of 16 GB..

15)   Internet connectivity through PC suite with this mobile is slower than as of other phone.

16)   As I earlier said, its keypad is a bit sensitive and it may not be same after one or one and half year of usage. As it is slide phone, chance of phone slide being loose sooner can’t be ignored.

17)   Small ignorance or few fall of phone even from low height can effect this phone. So, with all these, we can find lacking of product durability…

Conclusion:-
This is a better phone than as of Nokia’s earlier product, but today on the price of 6.4k or with adding 1k, you can owe a good phone in 3G connectivity. Nokia’s negligence effort in improving application and Email function can be seen in this phone also.
If you are seeking phone just for normal and camera use, you may like it, but this may not be a first choice for rest of people…

So as all my rating of 3 star out of 5.

Better call it ’CORRUPTION 2011’

I had finished reading this book before two weeks and was in the real dilemma, how to review this book? After thinking lot, I have finally penned it down.

This review is my own personal view and most of his fans or Chetan Bhagat himself Disagree with this one. Be free to leave your Comment.

Love, Corruption and Ambition.

Title of the book looked promising, but Never judge a book just because of its cover.

Preview-
2 States was the first fiction book I’d ever read and though it was not so enjoyable book, reading chetan bhagat had helped me start reading with the book. Later as I read two of his other book, 5 Point someone and 3 Mistakes of my life, I made my mind to read his new releasing book ‘Revolution 2020’. Its price through flipkart.com was 84 and pre- ordered it 2 months before its release.

Story-
3 Childhood friend:- In the city of Varanasi, Gopal, Aarti, and Raghav grow up from same school to have their career in different field. Raghav’s talent helps him reach IIT at Banaras Hindu University while Gopal, the poor guy goes to kota to prepare and repat the engineering entrance exam again. During these time Aarti and Raghav gets close to each other and fall in love. This brings dispute among Gopal and Raghav.

Raghav interested in journalism more than engineering has an ambition to work against corruption while despite not going to college Gopal turns out to be director of Ganga-tech engineering college. Then rest of story is all about Raghav attempts to fight against corruption and his indirect fight with Gopal.

Yeah, The book seems like a love story too… But if it is actually a love story, I am confused…

And not to forget, the main content of the book… Lots of f**k word included with few other vulgar words

Is this book focused about revolution?

No.
It is not. It never seems like he has stressed on this topic. Only after two-third of book is completed, he tries focusing on the main content while before that it seems he has filled book with umpteen numbers of boring topics just to create a background. Even he lacks with proper idea to conclude this book forgetting the title of book and forgetting if he is writing an improper love story or anything else?

Here he has shown the extreme limit of corruption done to establish a institute and educational system and have brought among the public. From a first job of Building construction to AICTE approvement, Mr Bhagat has shown number of corruptions. Let us look how if this theme will bring some clear reality among the people. He has included corruption done by MLA and his condition after resigning from the post. But he has hardly penned something about called revolution....

So title ’Corruption 2011’ would have been the better than ’Revolution 2020’

Even in this book, he has dealt about the Student Pressure during competitive exams and their inability to reach the victory target. This is something which many of the books and movies have included many times. He himself being student of IIT and IIM, he could have written something about dark horse winning the race or something which can really inspire students. He lacks it here.. Overall he lacks the creativity and new idea in this book

In this book, he again stresses about ‘failure student’ and yeah, let me clarify, in all of his books, the failure student are the compliment set of IIT’s and IIM’s. Just because he has reached County’s most of the prestigious college means he is a winner? Is it that all students out of IIT and IIM are failure student?
Kindly please stop this attitude because don’t forget, if anyone will be reading your book, they will not be any iitians or iim student but just a simple and average students.

Is this book a readable one?

Initially, what I had was little praise of words to Mr. Bhagat for including the topic of Corruption in his book Revolution 2020. May be it was his inner desire to write about such topic. I appreciate his writing the book in such a simple words. His attempts to reach youths not knowing higher level English is a type of gambling he has played, and maybe he’ll succeed reaching first timers too.

But again you get in a doubt if Revolution 2020 is a book written by a writer who claims himself as ‘India’s most loved and respected writer’?

He has nothing more than describing the Dress or clothes of girl and you hardly can find any sensible or creative literature used here. The language used in book itself is easier than Gulmohar book of lower-secondary school and not to forget errors and printing mistakes in book.

Rather than spreading social awareness in his book, It looks like his vision to write a book is more about making familiarity with people about vulgar words. His adaptation with the ‘sex’ in every of the book and inclusion of ‘f**k word’ in almost every of the alternate pages proves it.

Mr. Bhagat, is it what you want to spread among the people? We all know many of the writers follow the same procedure but how about starting the revolution of writing books with gentle word?

With all these, his claim of being India’s most loved and respected writer contradicts.

My Conclusion-

I had respect for Chetan Bhagat as writer, but I don’t think I will be reading any of his upcoming books unless it will be with top class gentle language.

I don’t mind people reading this book, but if you are among those gentle people who believe in the decency and if you are those who hate vulgar words, please don’t read this book because you may end up your mind filled with dirty words lot earlier you finish this book.

And Dear Chetan Bhagat, Next time you write another book, please mention the vulgarity class of the language you are using in it.

Ravinder Singh’s first book, ’I too had a love story’ is famous among many of people (especially young girls) because of sad ending where writer had said it is his own life story. It was a bit emotional which touched reader’s heart irrespective of simple languages, simple story and it got marked as Best seller despite of its few flaws and avoidable mistake presence in the book.

Now he is back with his second book which he writes as his own story after departure of khushi (His beloved girl friend who had died in the truck accident in his first book ’I too had a love story’). So one hand he has tried taking the advantage in promotion as "Sequel of his first book" while on the other hand it seems he is bound with plot of his first novel which could only restrict him to widening of stories.
The Book claims, it is all about Ravinder Singh after he lost his girl friend.

Can love happen twice Plot-

On the evening of 14th feb, valentine’s day, Ravin and his thee best friends are invited for a radio show in Chandigarh, ‘Raat gayi, baat baki’. Ravin was supposed to talk about his bestselling book ‘I too had a love Story’ and life after that. But only his three friends could turned up. With the show going forward, they revealed where Ravin is actually now. This brings the curiosity what situation made those happen in his life. With the curiosity on peak, one of his friends start reading his written diary as collection of happening of his life in Belgium, narrating the story live in one of Chandigarh’s Fm.

Back flash of story as main plot starts with Ravin life getting back in track in Belgium where he is sent for his office work. Among many Indians he found in Brussels, he finds a girl ‘Simar’ as his friend who is doing Mba in a same city, Just ten minutes away from his office. From their co-incident meeting of Gym place and sandwich shop, along with time, they get friend with each other. With her friend, She visits his room for the first time on his birthday. Since that time their frequency of communication increases and they get close to each other.
But will Ravin be able to come across his beloved love? Will he accept Simar as his other love of his life? Which moment actually brings him in the miserable state? Will love happen for the second time? What will be the end of this story? What was the secret of his life that everyone is eager to listen?

Book as a sequel. Does it work?

As I said earlier, making Can love Happen Twice as sequel of his book, he got a plus point for his book promotion. This sequel plot also few craziness to learn and eagerness to know the remaining plot of story. Three friends meeting in a car, and then story goes smoothly for a while. But it looks like he has spent the enough pages before main story starts.

Making a sequel book may not ask so many new creative, leading to lesser effort to create a main plot but again to connect two books becomes more than a tough job. Here writer is bounded with definite opening and closing plot which stops the new story come to effect in this book. So writer seems lacking few of these things here.

My view on Story
Story of book can nowhere be said as unique. The main story is a common story that we have been getting in our Bollywood movies. It’s Looks like he has not been able to connect one scene with the preceding scene properly in few of the phase.

Placement of past scene as recalling past moments adds value and fragrance to the story but he uses these techniques only limited times.

Reading story one time is ok! With initial suspense, story looks interesting in early pages. But trend of slow moving, especially when Ravin’s life in Belgium begins it somewhere brings boredom to readers. The middle part of book could have been much better.

Language decency used in the book is acceptable and he has been careful by not detailing some of the scene which could have lead to vulgarism. I want to thank Ravinder Singh for this. Though his mode of writing is as simple as his earlier books, he has been able to describe the abstract part of the nature and his surrounding to some extent, still a genuine and unique framing of creativity lacks in this novel.

Story could have been much better, especially had he arranged few more plots with ‘Khushi’ (he has shown only one presence of her). Her inclusion in the story in his sad phase could have added interest the climax of novel is good but is not so appealing where it feels like he is running of time and in hurry to end the story.

Few more plots of twist and romance especially including ‘Simar’ as leading girl was a necessity but first 36th to 150th pages of book is dominated by Ravin over shadowing presence of Simar or any other character in the story.

The last phase of realization could have been extended to some extent but again, its on to person to person how he is dealing with the story and we should realize a same plot can bring numerous stories if written by many people.

My Conclusion-
Writer says, he has written this book to awake youth generation where relation has been ending by heart break rather than heart-fail. He couldn’t stand up fullest on his own expectation. Still, spreading the message is ok to some extent. It seems like some scene were unlinked and some were

I liked the book but I surely won’t say I loved the book. Book is one time readable for some people but some other part of people or youth may not like this one.

It is purely a love-story book, so don’t expect to get any extra masala here. Still, had he added some more flavors on book, it would be worth reading.

In last few years, Akshay Kumar has been delivering the comedy movies where he has found love of his fans, but some or other way action lovers might had missed his powerful roles as of Khiladi series (or may be I might be unaware of his action movies released in last few years). Still, there comes no second thought that Akshay has been successful in comedy movies.

The recents trend of Dabang, Bodygaurd and Singham where movies have been commercially super-hit whereas Wanted, Dabaang and Singham are liked by many people. If you are the one who had enjoyed every punch of heroes in wanted and singham, you may like this movie; If you have enjoyed Salman’s Dabaang Character, you may like this movie.

Rowdy Rathore, as known by all, it is remake of south-Indian movie where you find both comedy and actions. As I haven’t seen its original movie, I can’t say what percent of movie story is the remake but one thing for sure, if you have kept your logical and reasoning mind aside while watching the movie, you will surely enjoy it. Here, you can see two different Akshay Kumar:- the comedian and the fighter.

Shiva (akshay kumar) is a clever thief in Mumbai whose daily job is to steal things from people. On his daily activities, he happens to meet with Paru (Sonakshi Sinha) who has come for a weeding from Patna. They get close to each other and fall in love. While attending a marriage party, Shiva confesses he is a thief and promises he will change the way. But some incident leads him finding a little girl who calls Shiva as her father. His life in the movie changes after that!

On the other hand, Vikram Rathore (other role of Akshay Kumar) is a stable ACP who had fought against the criminal as one man army. While trying to Conquer evil of Devgadh, he gets defeated and life also turns different for him. Both of them get to meet in an incident to save daughter of VIkram Rathore. Then the movie is all about recalling past days of Vikram Rathore and how the evil is conquered in the later stage of climax.

Akshay Kumar is superb in his comeback of action movies. You can feel a geniun enthusiasm when he shouts a dialogue and his punches are crowd pullers. Some or other way, though for limited time, it can be considered as one of the best action performances by Akshay Kumar. In other side, his comedy role as a thief and as a finisher is slightly different than of his earlier movies. You may feel this role somewhere as mindless role by salman khan of dabaang but again, he is unique here and if the movie happens to get listed as super-hit, the maximum credit will surely go to Akshay kumar for his powerful double role.

Sonakshi Sinha as paru has not been given maximum role, still she is well fitted in it. Her dance and her performances are highlight of the show. And as a movie is fully male-dominant, it is an acceptable role for an actress.

Other supporting stars including villain team, though in their limited roles bring the best performance in movies

The script of movie is ok type. Movie has very less suspense hidden in it and dialogues of the movie are limited. May be few more powerful dialogues and a bit longer role for Vikram Rathore could have made movie a bit interesting. Songs of the movie are good but not so of the distinction level. A good compose/lyrics could have made difference in the movie.

The start and end of both halves of movie are excellent while in between, movie goes down. But as the start is fine and end is fine, movie can surely be considered as good movies of industry

Personally I didn’t find the role of shiva as efficient as of Vikram Rathore, (may be vikram steals the show with action though in shorter time). The romance of second half looks like diversion of road and it could have been avoided. I didn’t like the mix of comedy and action as it somewhere seems dilution of sweetness. As Movie is neither fully action packed nor it seems a great comedy. Love story wont be the topic to discuss either. I would have loved had there been Variation in songs and music.

Movie will be super hit but even if it crosses 100 crore + earning club (it may not cross too), figure won’t go so much beyond. Let us see how movie will fare in coming two days of this weekend.
