First of all, I'm having problems with my back and can't write long posts now, because I can't sit in my desk chair for too long (and old fashion me, I still don't own a laptop, just a desk computer. I'm running a little behind here, I guess... Haha!) I will write some smaller posts now, for a week or two I guess, and split my posts. That's why I don't treat you to a full review / swatches / looks posts today. Instead, I will start with some product pictures, to show you what I'm talking about, and some swatches. There will definitely be more soon, I will review the products and show you some looks I've made with them, but these will come later. I'm sorry and I'm hoping to be fully recovered soon!

Some time ago, I received a package full of make up products from Technic, a cosmetic brand I wasn't familiar with before. Technic boasts an array of beautifying cosmetics and makeup accessories to create head-turning looks. They offer a huge selection of nail polishes, lipsticks and glosses, innovative mascaras and award-winning blushers. The range also includes striking, smooth application eye shadows, primers, highlighters, contouring kits and foundations. And if that's not enough, there's even more! There’s also a full collection of luscious false lashes available, ranging from dramatic party styles to more natural individual lashes that subtly define eyes. Technic is constantly updated and always at the forefront of fashion, a modern yet fun range that ensures you can always get the latest look.

Technic is one of the brands of Badgequo, a company with over 30 years in cosmetic experience, which developed a reputation for combining great quality products with unbeatable service. I received a beautiful package containing 6 of their products.

The Technic Colourfix Colour Corrector Palette is a palette containing eight carefully selected pastel shades to target specific areas and create a flawless finish. The silky texture of each shade makes blending effortless, and it comes with handy hints on the back, to make colour correcting easier than ever.

Use the pink colour to brighten and the lilac to correct yellow (sallow) skin tones and bruises.
The green colour is used to minimise redness and the peach one to neutralise blue tones.
Rose is to balance out any discoloration and the silver shimmer is being uses to highlight and brighten certain areas on your face. The yellow colour is to neutralize purple dark patches and the tan can be used to warm ash colored skin tones.

Next up is the Bronzing Baked Eyeshadows palette.

Beautiful shimmery colours! The Bronzing Eyeshadows is a beautiful range of baked eyeshadows, that include a wide range of highly pigmented shades. They promise to be easy to apply and to look great for both an every day or night out look.

The pigmentation doesn't seem to be that high, according to my swatches, but the colors are really beautiful though! ;) I guess they will look brighter when using them wet or with a primer as a base, before applying these. Well, what about that, I told you I won't do any review today and here I am, reviewing these eyeshadows! ;) Haha!

The eyeshadows are suitable for vegans and vegetarian people too and they are cruelty free. In fact, all products from Technic are, but I will tell you more about that in a second! ;)

Okay, next, we have the Technic Brow Tamer.

A cream eyebrow kit, containing 2 colors a applicators with 2 brushes and a little mascara brush. Quite convenient to have everything you need in one little kit, right? ;)

These are available in 2 versions, by the way, a medium one and a dark one. I received the medium kit, as you can see.

The eyebrow kit is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians and is alcohol free.

The next product on my list, is the Get Gorgeous Highlighter, a powder highlighter that illuminates your skin for a radiant look.

Such a nice colour, isn't it? The other day, I used it on my eyelids too, to add some shimmer to the eyeshadow I was wearing that day, and it looked quite nice! The pigmentation of this highlighter is really amazing! Check out my eye make up in the pictures below:

I will add a new post soon, one with pictures of me wearing all the products, bu in the meantime, this will get you a good idea, right? ;)

The lipstick I'm wearing is this one.

Okay, over to the last two products.

I also received one of the Juicy Sticks, the colour Oxblood, to be precisely, a nice dark red shade that is suitable to use as a lipstick, or to line your lips.

The Juicy Sticks promises to be a highly pigmented juicy lipstick in crayon style and is available in 6 gorgeous pinkish, reddish and purple shades,

Last but not least, the Vitamin E Lipstick, a lipstick with added vitamin E, available in 10 gorgeous pinkish, reddish and orange shades.

The colour I received is Bare, a slightly pink colour that will provide you with a natural look.

Like I said before, I will post a more thorough review and pictures of me wearing these products soon, so stay tuned! :)

As a smoker (I know, it's not healthy and it's gross!) and a tea lover, my teeth aren't what they used to be anymore. Smoking and drinking tea causes stains and turn your teeth yellow, as we all know. So when I had the chance to test a teeth whitening kit, I was obviously thrilled! ;)

Having strong and healthy teeth is really important. Your mouth hygiene stands or falls with the condition of your teeth and, last but not least, your teeth are, apart from your eyes, the first thing people notice when they're talking to you. The most beautiful curve on your body, is your smile! ;)

I received three products from iWhite Instant, a company that has been marketing an assortment of revolutionary whitening products since 2008. The purpose of iWhite's products is to make your teeth whiter and remove stains on your teeth. iWhite is already available in almost fifty countries and is manufactured by Sylphar, a Belgian manufacturer of medical aids and cosmetic products that started in 2008 as a spin-off from a publicly listed dental company.

The products I received, are the iWhite Instant Whitening Toothpaste, the iWhite Instant 2 Whitening Trays and the iWhite Instant Whitening Mouthwash, 3 products that get you white teeth instantly.

Sylphar invented a teeth whitening treatment which is without hydrogen peroxide but even more efficient, based on a unique FCC (Filmocrystallized Calcium)-technology.Small white bio-active crystals are used in combination with a strong film forming polymeric agent. After reading that, I was eager eager to use them, my teeth could use the extra attention, so let's see if they really work, shall we? ;)

The toothpaste promises to be the perfect partner for everyday whitening and dental care.
This toothpaste with triple action whitening restores the natural whiteness of your teeth and takes care of your teeth the whole year through. The active whitening formula inhibits tooth discoloration and fights plaque. Further, iWhite Instant Toothpaste contains fluoride, which strengthens and remineralizes your teeth.

The toothpaste contains Sorbitol, Aqua, Hydrated Silica, Cyclodextrin, Disodium Pyrophosphate, Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Citric Acid, Aroma, Cellulose Gum, Sodium Fluoride, Phthalimidoperoxycaproic Acid, Sodium Sacharin and Limomene.

This is also mentioned on the package, along with the instructions, some safety information and a explanation of the triple action whitening technology.

This toothpaste is suitable for daily use and although it has a fresh taste, it doesn't really tastes minty. I guess it's more of a liquorish taste. Not bad! ;)

After brushing my teeth (with a plain manual toothbrush), my teeth were definitely looking healthy and glossy. They even appear to be a little more white too! ;)

My teeth were feeling really smooth, polished, clean and fresh.

After brushing, I used the Whitening trays.

These trays are so easy to use! They already contain the right amount of gel so you just have to open the packages and slide them over your teeth. Leave them there for 20 minutes and rinse your mouth afterwards, to get rid of the last gel residu's.

The whitening trays contains Aqua, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, Sorbitol, Chondrus Crispus Powder, Hydroxyapapite, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phthalimidoperoxycaproic Acid, Aroma, Citric Acid, Sodium Levulinate, Acrylates / Acrylamide Copolymern Sodium Anisate, Sodium Floride, Mineral Oil, Xylitol, Calcium Gluconate, Calcium Lactate, Potassium Acesulfame and Polysorbate 85.

The list of ingredients is also mentioned on the box and the box contains 10 prefilled, ready to use trays.

It feels a little bit weird to use them, if you're not used to having things covering up your teeth. It felt like they were gonna fall out of my mouth and I had to push them back a few times, but it's only for 20 minutes, so they're definitely worth the hassle! ;) I guess it will depend on your teeth too, I felt like my front teeth were to big for the tray, but I'll managed to cover them after all, so no harm in that! ;)

The trays are designed to whiten both the front and the back of your theet. Convenient! ;)

Take a look at this wonderful picture of my fresh, no make up face and the trays covering my teeth:

I was looking so cute, wasn't I? ;) Lol! This picture was taken the first day. Just above the upper tray, you'll see some staining way up on my front teeth.

After taking the trays out (just throw them away after using them), rinse your mouth to get rid of the last traces of gel and you're ready for the last step! ;)

After using the trays, my teeth were white, smooth and looking healthy. I felt like I could bite a piece of iron after using the trays! My teeth were feeling really strong.

The last step is rinsing your mouth with the mouthwash.

The mouthwash contains the following ingredients:

Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Hexametaphosphate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Aroma, Diazolidinyl Urea, Sodium Benzoate, Phthalimidoperoxycaproic Acid, Potassuim Sorbate, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Fluoride, Acesulfame Potassium, CI74160, Sodium Laureth Sulfate and O-Phenylphenol.

Like the two other products, the bottle also mentions a list of ingredients, together with some safety instructions and another explanation of the triple action whitening technology.

The mouthwash also has a liquorishy taste and is easy to use. Rinse your mouth for 30 seconds, spit it out and rinse with water afterwards.

I used the toothpaste and the mouthwash twice daily, in the morning and in the evening, before going to bed, and the trays were used every other day. After using the three products together, my teeth are in their best condition. White, strong, smooth and shiny. They feel healthy, strong and clean and a clean and healthy smile is what you get too! ;)

I'm really happy with the results!

The picture above was slightly edited (I slightly softened my skin and changed the colour of my eyes, to match my lipstick) but I didn't do anything regarding my teeth. The only thing I did, was using my whitening kit just before taking this picture. This picture was taken today, after 10 days of using the whitening products.

Quite a before and after transformation if you ask me, looking at the picture where I'm barefaced, wearing the tray! ;) Haha!

And no, I didn't dye my hair grey, it's a silver colored wig, to match my eye makeup! ;) I was in for a different look today! ;) Lol!

If you compare the ingredients in the products, you will see multiple ingredients are used in all three of them. Those are, obviously, the things that do the whitening. Two of the products contains Castor Oil, a plantbase oil that has multiple ways to use it. Fluoride is a common ingredient in toothpastes and whitening products. The products don't contain hydrogen peroxide, so they're completely safe to use, even on sensitive teeth.
I don't really know the other ingredients, besides Citric Acid, but if you wanna know more about these, google can definitely help you with that! ;)

I never believed those whitening technology things, but this one truly works, for sure! I'm excited to see if my teeth will stay this white! ;)

The kawaii style is known for the large eyes, the cheerful colors, the happiness and, of course, the overal cuteness. Think Hello Kitty and Pokemon, to give you some examples. I had the chance to choose a charm and a lanyard of their accessories collection and I can't wait to show you all that cuteness! ;)

Charms and lanyards aren't typically what I normally review here at Reviewed By Natje, but because of the overwhelming cuteness of the webshop, and my obsession with Asian things and kawaii, I decided to make an exception this time.

Choosing just 1 charm and 1 lanyard wasn't an easy task, they all look so cute, sweet and well, "kawaii like", obviously, but I managed to choose a charm and a lanyard after all, after much deliberation! ;)

Here's is the package I received:

The package arrived in a bubble wrap enveloppe, to keep your delivery save. Inside the bubble wrap, there was this cute pink organza bag, filled with my cute goodies! ;)

I choose two items of the Grumpy Sheep collection, because they match (obviously) and because I think that cute little black sheep is the most adorable thing in the whole shop! ;) "Grumpy sheep is tired of everything and needs a snuggle." That sounds so familiar, I just couldn't resist! ;)

The Grumpy Sheep Metal Charm is suspended from a black cell strap. The charm is 1.15 inches big and is made from metal with enamel paint.

Isn't she the cutest? :) It's kinda hard to see on the pictures, but did you see that adorable little hart on her bottom? It reminds me of My Little Pony! ;)

All charms come with a cell phone plug, so you can attach it to your phone, and they're hypoallergenic and nickel free, so you can wear it around your neck on the lanyard too, if you like.

Mine is beautifying my cell phone as we speak! ;)

Yes, that's right, I still use the Samsung Galaxy S5. It's over 2 years old now, but still is working as a charm, so I don't need a new phone yet... ;)

The charms aren't exclusive for cell phones, obviously, you can attach them to everything, from bags, lanyards, zippers to mobile game devices too, if you like. The possibilities are endless and it's your choice after all! :)

Like I mentioned before, I chose the matching Grumpy Sheep Lanyard.

These lanyards are made of silky soft material that doesn't irritate the skin. They have a 5/8" wide band with a 36" circumference and the images on them are permanent and will not be rubbed or washed off. They can be used to hold keys, ID tags, and badges at conventions. And you can even personalize them more by attaching a matching (or non matching) charm or some buttons.

I own quite some big handbags. I do have a bag organizer, with a small lanyard like thingy to attach your keys to, but although the bag organizer is the most convenient tool ever, that key thingy isn't. I use this lanyard to attach my keys, that way I don't have to search my entire bag to find my keys. And if one of my kids is going to the grocery store in our street, I just hang it around her neck, to make sure she doesn't lose or forget them! ;)

Yes, she's flashing that adorable little hart on her bottom here too! ;)

Review - Clip In Extensions BodyBling.nl

This is a sponsored post. As always, I wanna make clear I received these extensions for free to test them and to write a review about them. The fact that they were free, will not influence my opinion in any way!

A while ago, I received some clip in extensions from BodyBling, a Dutch webshop specialized in real and synthetic hair extensions. With my shoulder length, over colored and damaged hair, having beautiful long hair is always been a dream for me. Let's see of my dream came true, shall we? ;)

I received the 33 Brazilian Clip in Hair Extension 60#. These are made from synthetic hair and contain 1 weft with 5 clips. The weft is 27 cm wide and 60 cm long. Their weight is 130 gr, clips included. They have a beautiful icy blonde colour.

The clips are easy to open, just press the outsides of the clip and it will pop open.

To give you an idea, in the picture above, you'll see that I opened one clip, the second one, the rest of them are still closed.

This is my real hair. I know, the picture is looking a little bit weird, but I really wanted to show you my hair instead of my face! ;)

I colored my hair yesterday, by the way, to get my colour match the clip ins. I used the colour 11.11 of the L'Oreal Preference Blondissimes range. It's still a little bit more yellow than it should be, but I guess that's because of my previous colour. You can see, my real colour and the colour of the extensions on the picture above, are quite similar.

I just realized I didn't blend my own hair quite right into the extensions. That's why you can see the difference between my own hair and the extensions in the above picture. I do have a curling iron, but it's a rather cheap one that doesn't give me the curls I want. My curls aren't quite pretty when I use it, so that's why I tried to blend it without any tools, but it's obvious you will get better results when you use a curling iron or a flat iron. I do recommend using one to blend in your extensions.

I blended mine with my hands.

When wearing them, it feels quite heavy. I'm not used to wearing extensions, but I guess you will get used to the weight when you wear them often.

These extensions are easy to apply. Like all clip ins, you start with opening the clips, part your hair where you want to add the extensions, attach the clips to your own hair, just beneath the part where you parted your hair and close them. I had to part my hair quite low. It depends on the quality of your hair, obviously, but I had to part my hair quite low because my hair is really thin and if I parted it higher, closer to the top of my head, the clips where showing because I didn't had enough hair to cover them up.

The clothes (top and pants) I'm wearing on the picture above, are from 1.2.3. Paris by the way, the boutique I'm working... ;)

Look at all that hair! ;)

I do have a little trick to cover up the clips though: grab a piece of hair, just above the clip, and backcomb it. Do it on both sides, front and back and let the hair down, covering your extensions. You can comb it again carefully to detangle but be sure the clips stay covered. If you need some hairspray (and your extensions can handle it!), you can use some to make sure your clips will stay covered.

These are synthetic extensions. These can't be coloured and must be handled with care, but if you buy real Remy hair, you can treat it the same way as you handle your own hair.

When I'm not using my extensions, I like to braid them, this way they stay clean and they wont tangle that easy. Because these are made of synthetic material, they tend to tangle quite easy, so braiding them is a good way to keep and store your extensions. If you have clothing hangers for pants, you know, those hangers that pinch your pants between them, you can also use those to store your extensions, just pinch the weave between the pinchers and hang them in your closet. But braiding them will make sure they tangle less.

You can wash them using a gentle shampoo (but do handle with care!) and pat them dry with a towel. You can't use a blow dryer on these. These can be curled or styled too, but with a maximum heat of 180° C.

They do tangle very easy, that's the only shortcoming I have regarding these. Besides that, I'm very happy with these! :)

Back to our review! Like I said before, I was so lucky to receive the Beauty Friends II Aroma Essence Mask Sheet pack. A mask that helps to sooth the tired skin, making the skin soft and supple while it cleans and moisturizes.
I was thinking Beauty Friends II was the name of the brand, but now I learned these masks are from Vanedo, a Korean skincare Brand. Beauty Friends II just seems to be the name of this particular range of masks.

Beauty Friends II has a range of 22 different sheet masks, including, Lemon, Herb, Kiwi, Royal Jelly, Vitamin, Raspberry, Potato, Tomato, Pearl and Green Tea, and are all packed with natural ingredients. The Aroma variant, which contains aroma essential oil, known for the pleasant smell, contains the following ingredients too:

Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Triethanolamine, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract / Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract / Mentha Piperita Root Extract, Flycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Prunus Armeriaca (Apricot) Fruit Extract, Glycine Max (Soybean) Seed Extract, Melpighia Glabra (Acerola) Fruit Extract

As you can see, the mask mainly contains natural extracts like apricot, licorice, mint and soy beans and I'm told they are vegan and cruelty - free. You can find this list on the back of the sachet too, together with an explanation of how to use the mask and some more information, like the fact you can cool of heat the mask too. I cooled mine, by the way, and it felt amazing! ;)

As you can see, the text is written in both Korean and English, so we, non - Korean people, can understand them too! How very convenient! ;)

Applying the mask is also very easy:

1. Wash your face and sooth it with toning water.
2. Apply the mask for 20 to 30 minutes.
3. Remove the mask and don't rinse after removing it, let the excess moisture to be absorbed.

Like I mentioned before, you can use the mask heated or chilled, according to your preferences. To chill it, refrigerate the package until the desired temperature is achieved and to heat it, place the package in warm water (approximately 50°C) for 2 to 3 minutes, before you use it.

I used mine chilled and it felt really good. It was a very hot day today, and although it's past midnight now, it still is 29°C inside my appartement, so I preferred the cool version, obviously! ;)

The sheet masks are coming in convenient sachet packages you can tear open on the upside. When you open the package, you'll see the sheet, covered in lotion. The scent coming out of it, smells heavenly, by the way. It's a kind of flowery, fruity and herbsy (is that even a word? Hahaha!) scent and it smelled really good. It has a really fresh scent you definitely will enjoy.

I asked my boyfriend to keep the package open while I made the above picture, so I could give you a good look on the inside of the package. Isn't he the kindest? ;)

And I thanked him by entering our living room looking like this:

Sheet masks do look kinda goofy and silly while wearing them, to be honest, but hey, it's for a good cause, right? ;)

This was the very first time I ever tried a sheet mask (I was buzzing, I love to try new things!) and I must say I'm impressed by the ease such masks give. It's so easy to apply and to remove. No more massaging in oily or greasy creams, no more creams sticking to your face, fingers, the palm of your hand or your brush, no need to use a brush at all, no more rinsing after removing the mask, just tear open the package, get the sheet out, put it on your face, let it absorb into your skin, take the sheet of your face and throw it in your garbage can! So easy even a child could do it!

As for the fitting of the mask, that was okay. It was too big on my forehead, as you can see, and slightly large on my chin too, but it did fit alright on my eyes, mouth and the rest of my face. But in my opinion, you can't expect more from a mask that should be suitable for everyone, isn't it?

The chilled mask felt really refreshing on my face, I truly enjoyed the chilled feeling and after removing it, my face was looking healthy and clean. It felt moisturized, energized, hydrated and fresh, just the way I like my face! ;) Lines were slighty reduced and my redness appearded to be less than usual.

After removing the mask from my face, I even used the sheet on my neck, torso, arms and feet! The mask was still wet after 30 minutes, so it's clear it really was dripping wet to begin with. But the wetness didn't really bothered me, actually, it didn't drip on my clothes or anything.

I truly recommend this mask to everyone, so if you have the chance, go check it out for yourself!

I received three Bondi Sands products, the Light / Medium Self - Tanning Foam, the Dark Self - Tanning Foam and the Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk.

I tried all three of them by now, but I'm gonna start this serie of reviews with the Dark Self Tanning Foam.

The Dark version is a lightweight, Self-Tanning Foam that’s simple to apply and gives a flawless finish, every time. Enriched with Aloe Vera and Coconut, this is a salon quality formula. Simply smooth on for an even, streak-free tan. The Bondi Sands Self - Tanning Dark Foam is recommended for those with an olive complexion or those who prefer a darker glow. If you're wondering whether you should use the Light / Medium Foam or the Dark Foam, Bondi Sands recommends starting with the light/medium version. The actual difference in colour between the dark and light/medium has a lot to do with your skin and how it develops the tan.

In opposite to several other self tanning products, these foams have a pleasant scent.

Both the foams are equipped with a convenient pump on top, which makes the foam easy to apply by pressing the pump, pumping the foam directly to your tanning mitt and applying the foam on your skin, in long, sweeping motions. The rest of the foam on your mitt, can be used on the face, knees and elbows. It dries quickly and leaves your skin looking nice, golden and smelling delicious. The foam smells like coconut, as promised on the bottle (it's always a pro when the products is able to fulfill their promises, right?! ;) Haha!) which is a pretty pleasant scent, although my daughter found it was rather bad smelling. Well, I have to disagree with her! ;) It smells like tropical summers in a bottle! ;)

Although the foam dries quickly, I noticed it leaves stains. After tanning, I went on and put my pants back on, and when I took it off again, a few hours later, I noticed the stains inside my pants. But I must admit, I was wearing a lightcoloured jeans, and Bondi Sands does recommend to wear oversized, loose fitting and darkcoloured clothing after applying the foam, so it's my own fault. That's a lesson well learned I guess: always listen to those who know better! ;) Haha! That's typical me I guess, I always think I know it all... ;)

It's recommended to wait 15 minutes before putting your clothes back on, to make sure the foam is dry and develop into your skin.

The foam has a brown colour, with a slightly golden shine, which gives you a good sight of how you're skin is gonna look. Although the foam looks darker than your skin will be! ;)

Like I said before, the bottle has a convenient pump on top of it, for easy applying. On the front of the bottle, the brand name and the colour are mentioned and the back has a list with ingredients and the directions mentioned on it.

When I used it for the first time and showered it off after developing, my skin was looking naturally tanned. I had a nice golden and streak free tan that lasted for 5 days. Just like it promises!

How to use the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam:

1. For an even streak free tan, ensure your skin is clean, exfoliated and free of any moisturizer.

2. Pump foam directly onto your application mitt before using long, sweeping motions to smooth over legs, arms and body. Use the remaining tan on the mitt for face, elbows, and knees.

3. You can wash your skin after one hour. For a longer lasting, darker tan, you can leave the foam for up to 6 hours before showering it off with warm water. Gently pat dry your skin after showering. For the deepest tan re - apply Bondi Sands self-tanning foam 30 minutes after your initial application.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Dihydrodxyacetone, Propylene,Glycol, Trideceth-9,Aloe Barbadensis, Leaf Juice, Polysorbate 20,PEG -5 Ethylexanoate,Glycerin, Ethoxydiglycol, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum / Aroma, PEG -12, Dhimethicone, CI 14700, CI 19140, Tocopheryl Acetate, Disodium EDTA, Benzyl, Alcohol, Phantenol, CI 42090, Coumarin.

Bondi Sands uses a high level of DHA (Dihydroxyacetone), which is the active ingredient in self-tanning products. It is a sugar molecule that reacts to the amino acids on the surface of the skin. The level of DHA controls how dark and natural the colour looks and it's carefully formulated to create a natural looking tan, balanced with moisturizers to guarantee a smooth, streak-free application and glow.

As you can see, I'm pretty happy with this dark version of the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam.

Here's my result right after application:

As you can see, my legs are tanned immediately. While I'm writing this review, the stuff still is on my skin, so I'm gonna have a hell of a tan tonight! ;) And don't worry about being orange, it actually is looking more orange in the picture than in real life! ;) Must be the lights or something...

As you can see, I received three moisturizing lipsticks from the RealHer debut line. All gentle, moisturizing lipsticks with a creamy satin finish, enriched with Shea Butter, Jojoba Seed Oil, Macadamia Oil and Vitamin E.

I've tested "Women Rule The World", which is a bold pink lipstick that you can wear with pride, "Be Yourself Be RealHer", a deep red shade for the fearless girl that is not afraid for being herself, and "I Am Powerful", a wine red colour that you can wear as a reminder how powerful you really are.

The packages of these lipsticks are so pretty. Apart from the motivational quote on the packages, there also is an engraved brand mark on the lipsticks themselfes.

The tubes arrive in a black carton package, whit the brand engraved on top. The ingredients are mentioned on the side and the front of the package tells you that these lipsticks are moisturizing.

The tubes itselfes have a modern square shaped design and close with a white cap.

These lipsticks are so easy to apply, they really glide over your lips, leaving a bold and longlasting colour.

I've made some swatches, let's take a look:

This is how the lipsticks looks when wearing them:

I love all three of them, but the first one, "Women Rule The World" is my absolute favorite colour. I just love the pretty and girly pink tint of that one. That tint complements my skin colour and blonde hair so well.

As you can see, they all contain some shimmer, making your lips looking rather voluptuous and pretty glamorous. And like I told you before, they are really easy to apply, since they really glide over your lips. After applying, my lips felt soft and moisturized and even though the colour does smudge (I noticed the stains on my cigarette. Yes, I know, I should quit smoking, but sadly, it isn't that easy), the colors are really longlasting. When I tried to wipe the first colour off to apply the next shade, I needed make up remover to remove it, because my lips, cheeks and chin were all smudged! ;) I never owned a lipstick that lasted that long. You can go on for a few hours without the need to reapply. That definitely is a huge plus!

Another huge plus is the fact that these lipsticks are cruelty free. RealHer is certified by the CCIC and Leaping Bunny Association for its commitment to products and ingredients that are not tested on animals in any way, shape or form. Review - Havaianas

How's the weather with you? Here, it's 30°C right now. I know, it's summer, but 30°C in Belgium? That's hot! Belgium isn't exactly a Mediterraan country. When we hit 25°C, it's considered to be a hot day, so we're all kinda sweating our asses of right now! ;)

Anyway, time to get those flip flops out, right? ;)

I received a couple of Havaianas a few days ago, seems like the perfect time to do a little review! ;)

The brand Havaianas was born in the year 1962. Havaianas (which means Hawaiians in Portuguese) are based on the Zori, the traditional Japanese sandals with rice straw soles. That's why the rubber soles of Havaianas are textured, to look like rice grains. And that's one of the most recognizable and unmistakable details of Havaianas.

By 1964 practically every Brazilian was wearing a pair and they were sold on the road, directly from the vans of the distributors.

In 1966, they patented the shape of Havaianas and in 1969, more colors were added.

In the 90's, they first launched the printed models, which leaded to more prints, colors and collections and by 1999, the brand was known worldwide. They even created a special, glow in the dark Millenium model in 2000! ;)

In 2001, Havaianas launched their fashionable Special Collection, featuring exclusive details such as crystals and metal meshes, handcrafted by artisans in Northeast Brasil.

And nowadays, Havaianas can be found in more than 60 country's worldwide.

Don't you just love the package they come in? :) Makes me think of holidays! ;)

Havaianas are made of biodegradable latex, by the way, so they have a limited impact on the enviroment.

The Havaianas I received, are the Slim Metal Mesh ones, in Café brown. Brazil's original and authentic flip flops with a handsew metallic detail on top. As you can see, these are a pair of the Special Collection models. They will cost you €55.

Obviously, they have Havaianas in all price categories, you can get Havaianas for as little as €18.

I choose a more glamorous and fashionable pair, because I'm a sucker for bling! ;) The metallic details on top are giving these Havaianas a more feminine look and allow you to wear them while you take a walk in the city too, instead of wearing them on the beach only.

Combine these with a cute summer dress, short or maxi, and you're ready to take over the world, am I right? ;)

I ordered size 39/40 (European size 40/41), which is bigger than my normal size, but I do have quite wide feet and I don't wanted them to be too small on the sides. Besides that, I don't like to have too little space on front either. Sometimes you see people walking with their toes hanging over the front of their flip flops and it doesn't look comfortable at all. With all that in mind, I ordered the 39/40 and they fit just excellent. I have a European size 39, by the way.

Don't forget to polish your toenails when wearing sandals or flip flops! ;)

I have quite difficult feet, can't wear whatever I want because of heel spur. I wore them for a few hours and didn't had much trouble. I do think I would get sore feet if I wore them for a whole day, but that isn't because of the flip flops, obviously.

The metal pieces are hand sew onto the upper bands of the flip flop and cause no harm on your feet.

A Havaianas charm is hanging on the side of the band, to make sure you have bought the real deal. The soles also have the brands name engraved in the rubber.

The little "thingy" between the toes (I don't know how to call it, sorry! ;) Haha!), is also made from rubber, which won't hurt your feet. Fun - This or that?

Hi guys,

I don't have another review for you today, I felt like it was time to add some variety into my posts, don't you? ;) Also, I would like to get some interactivity into my little space here, so let's do this thing and start of with a little "this or that!" ;)

It's simple, I give you guys two pictures, two options and you choose the one that you prefer. These pictures will be about anything, they will not especially beauty related or something. Sounds like fun, don't you think? And this is the perfect opportunity for me to learn a little bit more about those people I love the most: you guys! ;)

Coca Cola or Pepsi? I prefer Coca Cola myself. I just don't like the taste of Pepsi that much. In my opinion, Coca Cola is the better one. But I prefer to drink tea, Red Bull or Fanta, to be honest! ;)

Heels or sneakers? Well, for me, that's a tough one. I do like them both, especially the ones of the picture, but my feet won't be very happy if I walk around on heels like that all day. I do prefer heels for partying and a night out and I choose sneakers for working and on the streets during daytime. My feet will thank me for that! ;)

This is one my daughters came up with. Straight hair or curly hair? You get the picture, my oldest daughter has straight hair and my youngest daughter has a whole head full of curls! ;) I have straight hair myself and I wished I had curls, so I'm gonna go with the curls here! ;)

Together with my daughters, I've been watching Twilight today. I remembered reading online that fans over the whole world initially had another Edward Cullen in mind, but author Stephenie Meyer did choose Robert Pattinson after all, because that other guy was too old. I'm a huge Gaspard fan myself, I mean, look at that guy! ;) I've seen Gaspard in Hannibal Rising for the first time, and he's my newest celeb crush since that moment, so it won't be fair to ask me that question... ;) By the way, he was excellent in A Very Long Engagement an Saint Laurent too. conference commercial with the guy who doesn't know what to say when he spots his blonde crush in the audience. So he says

Anyway, I've read that Stephenie's opinion was that Gaspard was too old to play the rol of Edward Cullen and she didn't consider anyone over 21 years old back then. Gaspard is turning 32 this year (he's my age! Damn!), so he 's definitely older than Robert, but to be honest, I think he makes a far better Edward than Robert ever did! Sorry girls, but that's my opinion! ;)

Living in the big city or a cabin in the woods? I'm a city girl. I could never live in the middle of nowhere! I'm living in Antwerp, a city in Belgium, and although I'm not living in the center of the city itself, I'm still living in a rather crowded area. I literally need people and noises around me and couldn't bear the thought of living somewhere were the only thing you can hear, are birds and the wind. I think I would go crazy, really! What about you?

Imagine you have only space to take one beauty product in your bag with you. What do you take, mascara or lipstick? I would go for the mascara I think. I have naturally larger lips, so I don't need anything to give them the attention they need... ;) Mascara gives your eyes an instant open look, so I would pick mascara over lipstick. By the way, don't you just love those new jelly flower lipsticks? I know I do! ;)

Silver or gold? I mainly prefer silver myself. As it comes to jewelry, almost all my pieces are silver. I owned some pairs of silver colored shoes too (never had gold ones) and all the embellishments on my clothes are silver. Gold can be pretty too, but I don't know, silver just is more appealing to me I guess. But I prefer gold tones in make up though... ;) How about you?

Review - Yankee Candles

Let me start this post by stating this is a sponsored review. I received the products as a gift, to test them and to write my opinion about it. The fact that I was gifted the products, will not affect my opinion in any way.

After hearing and reading so many good things about the American candle brand Yankee Candles, I wanted to know what the fuss was all about, so when I had the chance to test those famous candles myself, I was literally thrilled!

Yankee Candle was created by Mike Kittredge, a young student who wanted to make a christmas gift for his mother. Back in 1969, the 16 years old student didn't had much money, so he made a candle out of ordinary kitchen stuff. When a neighbor saw the candle, she convinced him to sell it to her and with the money he made by selling it, he made two new candles, one to sell and one to give to his mother. That's how Yankee Candle was born.

Today, you can find Yankee Candles stores in more than 575 locations. They have over 150 fragrances now and the candles, fragrances and accessories are available at over 35000 authorized Yankee Candle Retailers.

The scents I ordered, are Cappuccino Truffle and Strawberry Buttercream and those are the fragrances I would like to tell you about today.

The Cappuccino Chocolate promises to be a irresistible treat for during the coffee. A combination of fresh roasted coffee and delicious, velvety chocolate. I have to admit I did smell a touch of chocolate and coffee when I brought the candle to my nose and took a sniff, so that's obviously a very good start.

Unfortunately, when lighting the candle, the fragrance wasn't that explicit. There definitely is something, but you practically have to bring your nose right in front of the candle to smell it, so you won't be able to fill the whole room with the scent and that's a little bit sad, because it smells so good. The candle was decorating and fragrancing my living room though, which is a 30m² big room, so when you put it into a smaller room, like a bathroom or a guest toilet, it probably will be scented enough to give your whole room a scent after all.

Obviously, the intensity of the scent depends on various things. Like I mentioned before, I ordered the small jar. The big jar has a bigger fire area and that's why you will smell more if you're using a big one. The wax tarts are the most intense, because their fire area is the largest.

The scent of your parfum or the odeur in in your house, are also possible reasons why you don't smell your scented candles very well. It's like having a glass of orange juice after eating peppermint or brushing your teeth, your orange juice does taste very different. It's the same with your nose.

The Strawberry Buttercream seems to have a stronger scent. These range promises to have the scent of an absolutely delicious treat of thick, sweet strawberries buried in fresh whipped cream.

When smelling the candle before lighting it, I especially smelled the scent of candles. The scent of wax that is. But when I lighted it, the room was immediately shrouded in a delicious scent. I can't say I smelled the strawberries or the whipped cream, I didn't really catch any of those scents, but it smelled good though, so that's a pro! ;)

Smelling another scent can be a hormonal thing by the way. Besides, scents are a very personal thing, after all, so it's possible you will smell a whole other scent that I did. You might smell the right scent after all! ;)

Don't get me wrong, they're both good, they both smell delicious!

What's definitely a pro, is the jar your candles come in. Well, if you order them in a jar, that is! ;) When you order your Yankee Candles in a jar, they come in 3 sizes: small, medium and large. Mine is a small one that will burn for 25 to 40 hours. I lighted it after dinner and let it burn the whole evening and I still have plenty of wax left, so you definitely will get value for your money.

The jars are made of glass and come with a little glass lid, so you can close them when you're not using them. That way, the scent won't get out. The jars are absolutely adorable and make quite a good decoration item, fitting in every interior. And if you want the colour of the wax to fit into your decor, you can just pick a candle by colour instead of by scent! ;)

The Strawberry Buttercream I ordered, are scented tea lights and they come in a pack of twelve, so you will be able to enjoy these for quite a few hours. The carton box they arrive in, is perfect for gifting them to a special someone. 1 candle will burn for 4 to 6 hours. Obviously, you can order this scent in a jar too, if you like.

The wax is poured in little plastic cups, like most tea lights and will fit in any tea light holder.

Both the jars as the carton box contains safety instructions, their weight and their burning hours, while the carton box also has a picture from the fragrance the candles contains. In case you forgot which scent it was... ;) Haha!

Makes you hungry, isn't it? ;)

Although the candles smell really good, I do think they're rather expensive. You can get cheaper scented candles, but in that case, the real questions are: will they smell as good as these and will they burn that long too? Well, honesty, I don't know, so your experiences on this topic are very welcome! ;)

I do understand the hype, it's just too bad they're kinda pricey. Bu that is understandable too, because the candles are all natural, made out natural wax and oils, they burn for hours (really, their burning time is huge! Even for the small jars and tea lights!) and you can re-use them. When your jar is almost empty, to can melt the wax and use it on a wax burner. That way, the scent outreaches all the candles.

A few days ago, I received a new skincare product from Vichy, and after using it for a few days, I'm glad I can share my experience with you.

The skincare product I received, was the Vichy Idéalia moisturizer, for a normal to mixed skin, a smoothing moisturizer with radiant effect.

Idéalia is a skincare line from French skincare brand Vichy and it's meant for woman just over 30. And since I'm 33, I'm the idéal person to test this range, right? ;)

The ideal skin is no longer a dream. With Idealia, Vichy introduces a new generation of skin care in order to improve the quality of the skin. Within a month, the skin texture refined, the complexion smoother and wrinkles are visibly faded .. This facial treatment is suitable for women who observe the first wrinkles on their faces, from the age of 30 years.

Idéalia is a moisturizer that contains Kombucha, a multi - active tea concentrate. Kombucha is known for centuries by pharmacists for its therapeutic properties and its antioxidant and firming action. Vichy has determined that the component can improve the quality of the skin significantly.
It contains natural AHA, vitamins and polyphenols and is obtained by a biotechnological fermentation process of black tea: a rare composition which acts on the skin, layer after layer.

I've been using this moisturizer for a few days now and my skin does feel fresh, soft and smooth after applying. I don't see much radiance though, but my face is looking healthy, clean and moisturized and my pores aren't as visible as they normally are. Unfortunately, they don't stay that invisible, my pores were back before I could say the word pores! ;)

The moisturizer is easy to apply, it doesn't feel oily and merges right into the skin. It doesn't make my face shiny or greasy so that definitely is a huge plus!

The pale pink texture and the smooth and light formula of the cream are really enjoyable to see and to feel.

The moisturizer arrives in an attractive little jar. It's pretty, it's pink and it closes with a shiny silver, mirrorlike lid. Pretty convenient if you ask me because you'll always have a mirror with you if you carry this jar in your bag! ;)

How to apply:

Apply to clean, dry skin with light strokes upward.

Vichy Idéalia smells amazing, very feminine and sweet. And that's always a pro! ;)

The past week, I've been testing Wunderbrow, a semi permanent and long lasting eyebrows make up product, that claims to be an easy and quick solution for your everyday eyebrow make up routine. And today, I'm very happy to share my results and my opinion with you! :)

De afgelopen week heb ik de Wunderbrow mogen uittesten, een semi-permanent en langdurig wenkbrauw product, dat een gemakkelijke en snelle oplossing voor de dagelijkse wenkbrauw make-up routine zou zijn. En vandaag mag ik mijn mening met jullie delen! :)

We're all so busy now, we're always in a rush and our lives are so hectic that we even haven't got the time anymore to apply our make up. Sounds familiar? It does for me! Besides that, for me, it's not that easy to fill and colour my eyebrows with a pencil. No matter what I do or how much I've tried, I just can't seem to get it right. I also tried powder and eyebrow stencils, but that just looked so fake, that wasn't a hit either!

Tegenwoordig hebben we het allemaal zo druk, we zijn altijd in een rush en onze leventjes zijn zo hectisch dat we zelfs geen tijd meer hebben om onze make-up fatsoenlijk aan te brengen. Klinkt bekend? Ja hoor! Persoonlijk vind ik het ook niet zo gemakkelijk om mijn wenkbrauwen in te vullen en bij te kleuren met een wenkbrauwpotlood. Maakt niet uit wat ik doe of hoe dikwijls ik het probeer, ik krijg mijn wenkbrauwen gewoon niet op punt. Zelfs met poeder en wenkbrauw sjablonen lukt het me niet. Ik heb het geprobeerd, maar dat zag er zo nep uit, dat was dus duidelijk ook geen succes! ;)

Years ago, I started to tweeze my eyebrows and I went a little bit crazy with my tweezers over the years. Very thin eyebrows used to be very trendy in the 90's, but now, thanks to women like Cara Delevigne, it's a big deal to have big eyebrows. As a result of all that plucking back then, my eyebrows are very thin and don't grow as they should be. I tried to stay off them for a while, to give my eyebrows the chance to grow back properly, but if I don't epilate them, I literally have two big caterpillars above my eyes! ;) And not in a good, trendy, Cara way, by the way! ;)

Wunderbrow take cares of all those problems.

Jaren geleden epileerde ik voor de eerste keer mijn wenkbrauwen. Fijne wenkbrauwen waren toen heel erg hip (ah, nostalgie...... Die heerlijke jaren 90! ;) Haha!), maar nu, dankzij vrouwen zoals Cara Delevigne, zijn het volle wenkbrauwen waar de klok slaat! ;) Het resultaat van al dat gepluk toen: fijne wenkbrauwen die niet meer groeien zoals ze horen te groeien. Ik heb al geprobeerd om er gewoon af te blijven, om mijn wenkbrauwen de kans te geven om netjes terug te groeien, maar als ik niet epileer, dan zit ik met twee dikke rupsen boven mijn ogen. En niet op de goede, trendy Cara manier! ;)

Dat haarvezel complex wordt daarna toegediend aan een Permafix gel die een flexibele materie creëert, die de natuurlijke kleur en vezels op uw wenkbrauwen vastzet. Dat noemt men de Permafix technologie. Tot zover het biologie lesje... ;)

Here, I used a eyebrow pencil, but still, I kept my brows quite thin. This picture was taken by my boyfriend, by the way and was a part of my Snow Shoot! ;)

Hier heb ik een wenkbrauwpotlood gebruikt. Deze foto is gemaakt door mijn vriend en was een deel van mijn Snow fotoshoot! ;)

Here, I used a powder, combined with a eyebrow stencil. The picture is a few years old now but my eyebrows still look awfully fake in this one! ;)

Hier heb ik het poeder, in combinatie met een wenkbrauw sjabloon gebruikt. De foto is al enkele jaartjes oud, maar mijn wenkbrauwen zien er nog steeds vreselijk fake uit! ;)

Thanks to the lovely Monique of Beautysnederland, I had the chance to test the Brunette version and I'm impressed. Although the colour in the tube was similar to the colour of my eyebrows, it seemed to be a little too dark for me when I finally applied it. With my blonde hair, I presume the Blonde version would be a better fit for me.

Dankzij die lieve Monique van Beautysnederland, kreeg ik de kans om de Brunette versie uit te testen en ik ben onder de indruk. In de tube leek de kleur wel op de natuurlijke kleur van mijn wenkbrauwen, maar eens ik de Wunderbrow had opgedaan, leek de kleur me een beetje te donker. Mijn blonde haren matchen waarschijnlijk net iets beter met de blonde versie.

The Wunderbrow comes with a angled applicator and a little mascara brush. Although the mascara brush is meant to brush out your brows after applying, to make sure you didn't use to many, it's also a great way to apply the product to your brows. It's best to try them both, so you can see for yourself what the easiest applying method is for you.

De Wunderbrow komt met een fijne applicator en een klein mascara borsteltje. Het mascara borsteltje is bedoeld om je wenkbrauwen na de applicatie een beetje uit te borstelen, maar het is eveneens een hele goede manier om je product aan te brengen. Het gemakkelijkste is om ze allebei eens even uit te proberen, zo kan je zelf zien welke manier jou het beste ligt.

I applied the wunderbrow with the mascara brush, I figured it would be easier that way, because working with the mascara brush, is more precise, I guess.

Ikzelf heb de Wunderbow aangebracht met het mascaraborsteltje, het leek me de makkelijkste manier omdat je met het borsteltje toch net iets preciezer kan werken volgens mij.

The Wunderbrow claims to be longlasting, smudge, transfer and waterproof , and should be easy to apply and I have to say, I didn't went swimming, so I don't really know about the waterproof part, but my eyebrows were still pretty visible after showering, so I assume it's swimproof too. The Wunderbrow doensn't smudge when you rub it and it doesn't transfer when dressing up or wiping your face during a hot day, and, last but not least, when I tried it, the Wunderbrow lasted for 2 days, so the rumors are true! ;)

De Wunderbrow beweert een langdurig draagbaar product te zijn, en zou veeg, transfer en waterproof moeten zijn. Ook zou het makkelijk moeten zijn om het product aan te brengen. Ik moet wel toegeven dat ik er niet mee ben gaan zwemmen, dus het waterproof deel weet ik natuurlijk niet zeker, maar mijn wenbrauen zagen er wel nog netjes uit na het douchen, dus ik vermoed dat zwemmen zeker tot de mogelijkheden behoort. De Wunderbrow laat geen vlekken achter en geeft geen vegen als je erover veegt. Ook blijft het product 2 dagen netjes zitten, dus alle geruchten blijken toch echt waar te zijn! ;)

Applying the product with the mascara brush is going pretty smooth, but I needed a few times to get it right though.

Het product aanbrengen met het mascaraborsteltje, dat ging vrij goed, maar ik heb wel een paar keer moeten oefenen om het helemaal goed te krijgen.

We can't get over the fact that Asian beauty products and clothing are quite popular these days. I had the chance to experience some Asian skincare brands in the past and I do understand the hype quite well. Some of my favorite brands, like TonyMoly and Skin79 are Korean brands and I do love my TonyMoly Luxury Gem Gold 24k Facemask and my Skin 79 Oriental Gold Plus BB Cream to bits! ;)

No, I don't have a review for you today! ;)

Besides blogging, I've been into photography for a while now too. My daughters are so beautiful, they're the perfect models, but I do prefer some more action once and a while, and that's the reason why I decided to throw myself into the mysterious world of urbex photography! ;)

Lost Coffins

Photography and historical interest / documentation are heavily featured in the hobby and, although it may sometimes involve trespassing onto private property, this is not always the case. Urban exploration is also commonly referred to as infiltration, although some people consider infiltration to be more closely associated with the exploration of active or inhabited sites. When my boyfriend got me a DSLR camera for my birthday last year, I was thrilled! He bought me a Canon Eos 1200D, which is the perfect camera for beginners. Because of it's compact model and it's little weight, it's the perfect camera for the tiny hands of little women like myself! ;)

Urban exploration, or urbex, is a part of the photography world that isn't quite as innocent and legal as shooting flowers, for example. Entering abandoned buildings often is dangerous and illegal, keep that in mind!

Anyway, I've been urbexing for over a year now and I still love it. My first trip was to an abandoned prison in France, very impressive! Some of the buildings are totally empty but sometimes you stumble upon a little house that still is packed with furniture and stuff. It's like the owners or residents just got up and left! Makes you wonder why the house is abandoned after all. It's so sad sometimes...

The names of these houses aren't their real names, by the way, these are urbex names, given by the explorers who discovered them. This way, the buildings are protected against vandalism, copper thiefs and criminals of all kinds.

Review - MiPow Playbulb Candle

Hi everyone,

Last week I was quite struck by some very nasty flu. Fever, headache, sore throat, muscle aches, coughing, sneezing, sniffling, a painful skin and hot to the touch, chills, cold, hot, you know how it is ... Very annoying.
Plus, my nephew deceased last weak, he was 14 years old and has unfortunately deceased after a severe epileptic attack (he was also severely autistic, so the educators of the institution where he stayed, unfortunately failed to make him take his medication) and last Saturday, on Valentine's Day, my family said goodbye to him. Me, I was unable to go, it really was a very unwelcome flu. I still had a fever. Needless to say that I have a very bad week... It was awful!
We all miss him, but life goes on, they say, so that's what we should do, continue with our lives, but 2 deaths in our family, in just a year's time, it does something to a person ... This friday, it's just a year ago that my grandfather died ... Unbelievable!
Anyway, life goes on and I finally overcomed that flu, so it was time to reintroduce myself to my personal computer and continue with the reviews that I had to place aside when I was sick and mourning. Today I have a cute and colorful gadget for you! :)

The candle will not illuminate a full room, after all, it's not a ceiling lamp, but it certainly does provide enough light to create atmosphere, to see something lying on a table in a dark garden for example, or to use as a night light.

As you can see in the picture above, you can also turn the candle upside down and use it as a tealight holder, so you have double light! ;) This use has been approved by the manufacturer and is completely safe.

The candle is powered by 3 AA batteries. These are not included. But that's actually the only downside that I personally have about this gadget.

Blowing out the candle takes a little practice, but after trying a few times, you also have mastered that.

My ratings: a well deserved 8/10!

Another weekend passed. Did you have a nice weekend? My boyfriend had an extra day off yesterday, so , even we actually didn't do anything special, our extended weekend was extremely good! ;)

Because whether they are subtle, large, small, or fine, whether they're gold, silver or rose, whether it comes to earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, we can not have enough of them. Girls will be girls, isn't it, and the right jewelry are real eye-catchers and make our outfits complete. Well, you know what both Marylin as Nicole have said, don't you? "Diamonds are a girls best friend!" ;)

In the envelope I received, there was a nice decorated cardboard box, complete with a business card tied to it, and in the cardboard box, wrapped in gray blotter, there she was: my perfect ring! Yes, a ring! :) A plus for the nice packaging! :)

Around the ring in the blotter, a pink piece of gauze was bound. A nice and feminin finishing touch.

The ring that I have received, is the RVS Basisring Zilver, a silver colored stainless steel ring from the Swarovski Wisselcollectie, which means the rings are adjustable. On the ring there's a top, a Swarovski crystal which you can screw on top of the ring, which allows you to change the look of the ring as much as you like, by adding another top on it every time you wanna change colour or look. The top is made from clear crystal and measures 10 mm. You can use the top on other jewelry too, but I'll tell you more about that in a second... ;)

The ring and the top are both made of stainless steel and as you can see, there is a small hole in the ring where you have to add the top.

As I said, these trendy rings have the possibility to combine them with different tops. The top is easy to screw on the ring. The width of the ring is 7 mm, and the ring is made of durable stainless steel of the highest quality 316L Stainless steel is a material that can not fade, that don't provocate allergic reactions, that not leaves marks on the skin, that is cheaper than gold or silver and stronger than gold, silver and other metals. The hardness of stainless steel jewelry are almost not to deform and jewelry made of stainless steel scratches much less than jewelry made of gold or silver. Gold Plating, however, can fade over time.

The silver ring will cost you € 22.95, excluding top, and for a silver top of 10 mm, you pay €12.95, regardless of the color of the top itself. A silver top from 6 mm will cost you €8.95, regardless of the color of the top and for a top of 16 mm, you pay €18.95, also regardless of the color of the top itself. With silver, I actually mean the continuation of the top ...;)

In this range are also two silver tops with a freshwater pearl available. These have a size of 10 mm and costs €15.95 each.

There are also pink gold settlements and rings available. The ring cost € 29.95 and for the tops with rose gold setting, you pay €14.95, regardless of the color of the top itself. The pink gold tops are just in a format of 10 mm available.

Purchasing a set is also one of the possibilities. The silver ring, including five silver tops of 10 mm, will cost you € 49.00. This set, however, comes from €87.70 so you still save some money! ;)

The rose gold ring, including 5 rose gold tops of 10 mm, will cost you €69.79, up from € 99.70.
In this Swarovski collection, you can also find earrings and pendants, which, of course, also have the possibility to add tops in them. These pendants and earrings are all sold exclusively the tops, so you should order the tops too when you order a pendant or the earrings.
The pendants will cost you €24.95 each and all the earrings are €17.50. The hangers or pendants are supplied with chain and this necklace is 25,5 cm long. The pendants are available in different shapes, including a heart, a cross, a star and a circle, in which you have to screw the tops.

My opinion:

The ring is quite wide (7mm, as I have noted above), and it should suit you of course, but I personally think big and wide jewelry are really beautiful, that are the real eye-catchers, so the width of the ring doesn't bothers me at all. With a smaller top in it, the ring is likely to be a little bit less notable ...;) The fact that you can change the top of the ring to suit every mood, occasion or outfit, is obviously the biggest plus here. That's what attracted me so much in this ring and that's also the reason why I review this.
The ring radiates true glamour, very fine! :) It also combines pretty easy, a combination of larger and more subtle jewelry is, after all, also beautiful, like a combination of some flashier jewelry too but best, provided it fits naturally in your attire. In a less subtle combination, I personally would rather keep my clothes more subtle and neutral,to make the whole outfit not too notable.
The inside of the ring feels smooth and soft, not at all disturbing. The weight is not that bad. You obviously feel that you are wearing the ring (fortunately! Because losing it would be such a shame! ;) ), but actually he looks heavier than it is in reality. Nothing to criticize at all!
Because I've been sick and unfortunately a bit behind with writing my reviews, I have this ring for a while now and I wear it with great pleasure! The ring still looks great even after repeatedly wearing it. The stainless steel this ring was made of, was an excellent choice, since stainless steel is a strong, allergic free and scratchfree material. I am, in short, very happy and I'm sure I'll buy me a few other color tops! :) The ring is, is 1 word, gorgeous! :)

My score: a well deserved 9/10! :)

Should you also like to buy one of the two rings from the Swarovski collection (I wont blame you, you're absolutely right! ;) ), let me just tell you then how do you have to measure your correct ring size! ;)

The ring size is the inner diameter of the ring in millimeters.
Take a ring that well fits you on the finger where you want to wear the new ring. This is because the size of both hands is different in 90% of all cases.
Take a ruler and place the ring that fits you well on the ruler, so that the inside of the ring is on the 0 of the ruler. You can now determine the number of millimeters, this is the size of your ring.

My opinion:

With notes of musk, tobacco flower and black roses in them, this range has an intriguing, mysterious, seductive, sexy, very sensual and long lasting scent you really have to try! As you know, The Body Shop is very engaged with the environment so by buying anything from The Body Shop, you're helping a good cause too! Isn't that great! ;)

After using the shower gel in a nice hot shower, my skin was smooth, soft and hydrated and man, I smelled so good! ;)

When I used the Eau de toilette, the scent was still there after a few hours at work, so that's really great.

Review – Harry Potter and the cursed child

Hi guys,

Yesterday was a big day! J.K Rowling, yes, the British writer, celebrated her birthday yesterday. It was her 51st, if I’m not mistaken. And together with her, her biggest creation, Harry Potter, celebrated his birthday too. Which brings me to the newest Harry Potter book: “Harry Potter and the cursed child.” Excited yet? ;)

Yesterday the book was released and I managed to get it, yay! ;)

I started reading in the afternoon and by midnight, I ended it. Needless to say I’m quite excited about the book! ;) It’s not as large as the previous ones, but that’s okay, because this one actually is more of an extra story for the fans. You should read the previous books in order to fully understand this one, but I guess everyone already did, so there’s no problem in that, right? ;)

First things first, it isn’t really a book, or actually, it isn’t written as a book. It’s an adaption of a theater play, and it’s written as a script, a screenplay, with lines and stage directions and all that, so when you start reading it, it might be a little weird and confusing, but once you’re used to the somewhat odd way of reading a screenplay, instead of reading a book, you’ll see that it’s pretty enjoyable.

Reading the book in English, which isn't my native language, was surprisingly easy. Probably because I know most of the English words from the movies ... ;) Here in Belgium, we don't have dubbed movies, you see, we just add Dutch subtitles, or French subtitles, depending on which side of Belgium you live in... ;) Quick fact: Muggles are called Dreuzels in Dutch. Well, there you go, you've learned Dutch! ;)

Anyway, the story begins where the last book, Harry Potter and the deadly hallows, ended, at platform 9 3/4, where Harry, (who’s a 37 years old man by now), his wife Ginny Weasley, Harry's best friend and brother in-law Ron and his wife Hermoine all say goodbye to their oldest children, Albus Severus Potter and Rose Granger – Weasley, who’re both ready to board the Hogwarts Express for the very first time. Last but not least, we also get to know Draco’s son, Scorpius. So excitening! ;)

I’m not gonna tell you what happens, obviously, nor am I telling you who the cursed child is, you have to read it for yourself, but take it from me, if you’re a fan, you will definitely like the story!

The characters are a little plain, Rowling could have give them some more depth, I guess, and the story kinda rushes through: after reading 5% of the book, we found Albus in his fourth year already, but after those first 5%, it doesn’t feels that “rushy” anymore. And we’re all just so happy to read about Harry, Ron, Hermoine, Ginny, Draco, Neville, Minerva and even some other old characters again, even when they could have some more depth, aren’t we? ;)

Without giving away any clues or spoilers: the word “TimeTurner” is being used quite some times in this story, so it gets a little confusing sometimes… ;) But the story is well thought, strong, surprising and really good though.

In short: it’s a good story and it’s definitely worth reading, although it’s just not that good as the previous ones, because of the odd way of writing (the whole script thing, you know), the lack of depth of the characters and the rushing. As I said before, this is a big extra for the fans so if you’re a fan, be sure to give the book a chance! And if you’re not, try reading the first 7 books before you read this one! ;)

The book contains both part I and II so you can read the whole thing at once.

My opinion:
