2013-12-17T00:17:00.000+07:00

The other day it was reported that Samsung would develop a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite could be announced at MWC 2014. Based on the name of the product, we can only assume it would be a slightly less powerful version of the Galaxy Note 3 and a more affordable price. According to recent rumors, it seems that Samsung has started production of Galaxy Note 3 Lite December 12, and according to the report, Samsung expects that the Galaxy Note 3 Lite account for 30% of total sales of Galaxy Note 3.

Assuming this is the case, it would make many units of Galaxy Note 3 Lite sold! Recently, we heard that the Galaxy Note 3 could reach 10 million units sold in just 60 days, so if based on that, it means that Samsung expects to sell at least 3 million units . As the specifications of Galaxy Note 3 Lite are not official, according to rumors, the phone will keep the same screen 5.68 ", but the Super AMOLED pass the LCD, and see his camera down from 13 to 8 megapixels. What is the current Android smartphone upscale Sony? Anyone know? Yes, Sony has a problem of brand awareness, a concern that hopes to solve with CES at the beginning of next week. Although it could still happen, the Japanese news site would Sony put online prematurely images of Xperia Z "Yuga" and Xperia ZL "Odin". And, surprisingly, phones worth a glance.

Sony, and before that, Sony Ericsson, have had problems in the market for mobile phones . Apart Xperia Play Sony Ericsson, none was particularly interesting. Sony has created some memorable phones, even if in the past, the models had a very nice look and high-level specifications. Hopefully their next phone will hit harder.

Sony NEX-7m, it is the successor to the NEX-7

2013-01-04T23:34:00.005+07:00

The Sony NEX -7 is an APN amazing for its size, not to mention the quality of the photos it captures, but if you think there is always room for improvement, the guys from Sony Alpha Rumors were a pipe from an anonymous source saying that the successor to the NEX-7 is called the NEX-7m. The exact specifications of the supposed NEX-7m are not known at the moment, but assuming that the source is correct, the improvements include an increase in shutter speed, ISO range and improved NR just to name a few them. As always, take this with caution.

Although Sony entered the market later on DSLR, they caught this lost time with their range of APNs without mirror before Canon and Nikon. The NEX-7 is currently the high end of the range Sony mirrorless APNs. There are probably at the price of DSLR NEX-7, but if you want something compact that could fit in your pocket, then the NEX-7 is definitely a camera to consider.

Rumor : The iPad mini could be announced on 23 October

2012-10-14T20:42:00.003+07:00

There was not long ago, some rumors began to be more accurate in suggesting that Apple could start sending invitations from October 10, to invite VIPs and media contacts to an event that is supposedly dedicated the launch of the iPad mini. Given that we are already 12, you can safely say that these rumors have proven to be inaccurate.

However, it seems that a new round of rumors have suggested that this time Apple event could actually take place on October 23, which, coincidentally (or perhaps not) is just a few days of launch Windows 8 tablet Microsoft Surface, so we are right to think that Apple may look to actually steal the limelight from Microsoft, announcing its iPad mini story overshadow the tablet surface giant Redmond.

Assuming these rumors prove to be accurate, so we could see Apple launch the iPad mini in the month of November. We will of course take this information with caution for the moment, all the more that this rumor comes from AllThingsD that was causing the noise corridor about this event on October 23. Anyway, do not forget to visit us again in the coming weeks, so you can check what rumors have proven to be correct. In the meantime, you can always consult our summary of rumors about the iPad mini , just to get a better idea of what you might be able to expect.

Rumor: Google Nexus tablet could launch its $ 99 before the end of 2012

2012-10-01T22:42:00.003+07:00

Google has made a presence in the market for mini-tablets thanks to the Nexus 7 was launched a few months ago. The Nexus 7 has impressive hardware and with the ecosystem that Google offers, it is certainly a worthy competitor to the Amazon Kindle Fire.

However, Google Nexus plans to introduce more tablets before the year expires. Or at least that's what the rumors say. DigiTimes has reported that Google is working with Asus to launch a Nexus tablet quite affordable price, specifically $ 99.The tablet, if what he says DigiTimes proves to be true, it could really turn the tide in favor of Google. A Google tablet of only $ 99 probably would fly off the shelves in stores.

However, Google will have to make a number of amendments to make a tablet so cheap. The current Nexus tablet 7 screen has 1280 × 800 and is powered by a quad-core Tegra 3. In a $ 99 tablet, if it comes true, Google would have to reduce these specifications. The company could even launch a tablet with advertising, following in the footsteps of Amazon.

DigiTimes says that the tablet will launch this holiday season, apparently in time to compete against the iPad mini of course also many rumors circulating.

LG Optimus G: A Smartphone with Quad-Core Snapdragon S4 Pro, 4G LTE and 13 MP camera

2012-09-19T19:36:00.000+07:00

Today, the long awaited LG Optimus G was officially presented at a press conference in Korea, which we attended. With this flagship smartphone 4G LTE hardware and powerful, LG also offers what they call a "unique user experience" with a number of interesting features and personalized user interface.

Adding the most impressive software is based QSLIDE , a feature that allows you to display two screens simultaneously application, which allows multitasking. For example, users can search the web or send messages while watching a video. To date, the only mobile devices offering this type of split screen is the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 . I must admit that I can not wait to test in a real situation QSLIDE everyday.

Other features include custom software, we find the Live Zooming , which allows you to zoom up to 5X in a video while it is being streaming, Play Dual Dual Screen which lets you play different content on both smartphone and TV ( mirroring ), QuickMemo , which allows you to write a note or draw with your finger directly on a screenshot and share it as a URL or attachment ApplicationLink to launch predefined applications when alarm is deactivated and finally Personalizer Icon that offers customization application icons.

On the material plane, the sheet is impressive, and we could not expect less of a flagship LG. Thus, the LG Optimus G is powered by a quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro clocked at 1.5 GHz with 2 GB of DDR RAM and you can expect excellent performance especially for 3D games ( we played recently with the SDK Snapdragon S4 Pro ). And entertainment side we should not be left out, since this unit is equipped with a 4.7-inch WXGA screen True HD IPSPlus (1280 x 768 pixels, 320 ppi), which has a ratio of 15:9.

We know that 4G is a challenge for the life of the battery. And capacity 2100mAh battery of the LG Optimus G is a standard for high-end smartphones. LG claims that the technology has further improved the battery with a life of 800 cycles, which according to the company, is a "significant improvement compared to existing mobile phone batteries" . In theory, this should extend the total lifetime of the battery. It is generally difficult to put this to the test, but it is true that any rechargeable battery eventually one day either die completely and must be replaced. Generally most people are "satisfied" with the normal life of the smartphone.

LG has made it big with a quality point of view of the digital sensor of the smartphone, the LG Optimus since G has a rear camera of 13 MP and some software additions as Catch Time Shot that lets you choose the best picture among those who were taken continuously even * before * you press the shutter Shutter Cheese which can trigger the shutter by simply saying "cheese", "LG", "kimchi" or "smile" Smart Shutter that detects camera shake or subject movement and adjusts the shutter speed accordingly, and finally Low Light Shot Noise Reduction for better performance in low light conditions.

LG Optimus G will be available in Korea next week and in key global markets in October.

2012-09-12T06:58:00.001+07:00

It is a tablet running Android disproportionate office? Or a PC with touch screen features Android? Or something new? We do not really know, but the screen VSD220 revealed by ViewSonic drew our attention.

Kindle Fire HD 4G LTE to $ 499

2012-09-10T06:38:00.001+07:00

Amazon certainly has been pretty good with their Kindle Fire tablets, and certainly surprised us this morning with the announcement of the Kindle Fire HD - but when you give Amazon USD $ 499 for a tablet, what you get in return? How about the Kindle Fire HD 4G LTE to begin? Amazon calls it "the defining characteristic for tablet" with integrated 4G LTE connectivity, featuring 32GB of storage space and 4G Dual Antenna for 10 bands, how about that?

And that's not all, have LTE 4G radio on your Kindle Fire HD would be useless without the corresponding data plan to accompany him. This is the reason that Amazon also announced a new package 4G LTE which is priced at USD $ 49.99 per year, where in return receive credit of $ 10 in the Amazon Appstore, 20GB of cloud storage, 250MB of monthly data, all with 4G LTE speeds.

You can see that Amazon claims that the Kindle Fire 4G LTE compete against the iPad 3 in its segment priced at $ 499, and reduced the total cost per year (data included) to $ 549 to the price difference of $ 959 of the iPad 3 . If you have $ 499 to spend, why not order Kindle Fire today and receive HD 4G LTE on November 20 at the door of your house? Do you think the iPad 3 is in trouble, or the strength of the Apple brand will suffice?

2012-09-07T22:49:00.000+07:00

According to his information, there will be three different packages that will sell for USD $ 249.99 USD $ 299.99 and USD $ 349.99 respectively, which will be available from November 11. This particular rumor and prior to the launch point before Black Friday, but since Nintendo held an event on 13 September, I guess we can only wait a few days to find out if these rumors prove true. Meanwhile we suggest taking things with skepticism.

Nokia lumia 920 smartphone review

2012-09-06T23:02:00.000+07:00

You may have seen during our live blogging, Nokia launched Lumia 920 smartphones and 820. You can see their specifications and features in our previous reports. The first impression is that this is a great hardware platform for Windows Phone 8, and it is not surprising that Steve Balmer was so excited.

Phones 820 and 920 are very (very!) Reagents, and this is due in part to Windows Phone 8 OS. The Lumia 920 is clearly the most interesting device. He looks a little big, but that is not the Galaxy Note 2 or the LG Vu. The 920 has a polycarbonate housing which is extremely durable (I've dropped a Lumia 800 once ... oops, it worked very well).

The first thing that attracts attention is the screen. It is based on LCD technology and has a resolution of 1280 × 768. However, brightness, color saturation and even black levels were impressive in the demo environment. We will do a little test side-by-side, but it is quite remarkable and almost everyone should be able to see right away. touch functionality also works well with or without contact with the skin, with a thin layer of pressure sensitive (in addition to capacitive technology). This means that the gloves are not a problem. It is also possible to use nails. One wonders how it would work with a pressure sensitive stylus.

For the moment, we have not been able to make benchmarchs system, but we can say that the performance of the Snapdragon S4 used in the Nokia 920 is certified. This is the same chip as the Galaxy S3 AT & T, then watch this and you will know what level of performance we speak. Even if it is a dual-core, one can say that these graphics capabilities can sometimes outperform quad-core chips.

Wireless charging has potential, but we know from experience that this is not a feature "vital" as we have seen with the Palm Pre. This is a great advantage, but it must first be the customer buys the phone.

PureView is really amazing. It would be quite "simple" but nobody has ever done. In a word, Nokia was able to stabilize enough for the optical system that slows the shutter speed. With that, his camera PureView can accumulate much more light than its competitors without suffering blurry pictures or shaky videos. There were live demos of both, and low light picture taking or video trenblantes the Lumia 920 puts pie iPhone 4S - it's not even funny. It is suspected that the housing bigger / thicker Nokia gives enough room to do that. The wireless charging contrinue also to the thickness.

Overall, the Nokia Lumia 920 seems to be an excellent hardware platform for Windows Phone 8. One suspects that competitors will manufacture thinner devices in response - the Lumia 920 weighs 170g (this is a personal estimate). And finally, the AFN PureView is the main asset that Nokia (especially the low light + image stabilization) as well as the excellent mapping services offline.
