<p>I had been using the free version of efax for a few years when I finally had to start looking into getting a paid fax service. So naturally I went to efax&#8217;s site first to look at their pricing as I&#8217;m a loyal person. I was very confused because the Canadian prices were cheaper than the American prices &amp; you also got less faxes if you had a US account.</p>
<p>I didn&#8217;t think they were a Canadian company, so I e-mailed asking what was up with the pricing.</p>
<p>I was told to call so I did &amp; what a mistake that was.</p>
<p>First the guy basically harassed me into giving him my e-mail address that I had my free account with. I knew it was going to be a problem, because when he realized I still had a free account, he stated I shouldn&#8217;t have it. Because of his continuing disrespectful admonishing attitude I never did get to ask about their logic on their pricing. And when I realized how mean spirited he was, I told him I won&#8217;t be giving you my business &amp; I hung up.</p>
<p>When I tried to use my fax number a few days later, the guy had disconnected it.</p>
<p>So much for treating clients with respect. Not only did he lose me as a client, now they are getting negative publicity.</p>
<p>I understand my account should have expired a long time ago, but it didn&#8217;t &amp; now I lost all access to receiving faxes.  My simple account hadn&#8217;t been harming anyone.</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t fax a lot, sometimes I don&#8217;t fax for months, so I prefer to either pay per fax, or find a company that has very low prices per month &#8211; if you can recommend a company.<br />

<p>We were in the market for a merchant account &amp; Dave responded to my post. After e-mailing back &amp; forth with him &amp; me not getting a phone call from him after a certain period of time, I told him that I was no longer interested because I only deal with professional people who do what they say they will.</p>
<p>After receiving an apology, I decided to give Dave another chance, so we spoke on the phone &amp; based on the conversation, I was in a very positive mood. Unfortunately the following day there were more problems as I didn&#8217;t receive the files I was told I would receive.</p>
<p>I made a mistake by e-mailing another Dave requesting Dave&#8217;s Holman&#8217;s referral contract because I had a referral I wanted to give him. When I didn&#8217;t get a response back, I left a message stating once again that there were just too many problems. About 2 hours later I finally figured out my mistake &amp; apologized to Dave profusely. Since clearly things weren&#8217;t going well, Dave &amp; I amicably parted ways &amp; only then was I given the information that Dave couldn&#8217;t help us. I didn&#8217;t know what to believe, but then I was told he had an associate who could help get us a merchant account.</p>
<p>I understood this to mean that Dave had already discussed all the details with this associate of his who I later on found out was called Brian.</p>
<p>After waiting again for a few days &amp; calling Dave again wondering WHY I&#8217;m now not getting any call or e-mail from this Brian, I finally asked for Brian&#8217;s contact information &amp; I was told first that he couldn&#8217;t give it to me &amp; then later on that he didn&#8217;t have it. I did e-mail Brian (I had been cced on one e-mail so I got that info) thinking that would solve the horrid communication problem, but again, NO response after several days had gone by.</p>
<p>After doing research online &amp; not finding anything on Dave&#8217;s associate Brian, I started to become very suspicious about both Dave &amp; Brian &amp; then I finally had to face facts that in my opinion, Dave was not the professional business person I was hoping to connect with &amp; that I couldn&#8217;t do business with him or anyone close to him.</p>

<p>I was ready to give them my money &amp; the refused to accommodate my needs. I have a US credit card which is what I wanted to us, but they wanted to force me to pay more money by using a Canadian credit card &amp; making me pay in Canadian funds. All this because my billing address is in Canada &amp; we all know that these companies make a fortune when the Canadian dollar is worth more than the US dollar &amp; the company still charges more for that product. This happened on May 4, 2010 when the Canadian dollar has been higher or at par for probably close to 3 months now.</p>
<p>This product was being shipped within the US as a gift the only thing Canadian about it was the billing address.</p>
<p>I guess Day Timer doesn&#8217;t care much for Canadians.</p>

<p>So Brian was recommended by Dave Holman to help us find a merchant account. I spent a fair amount of my precious time dealing with Dave only to realize he wasn&#8217;t going to work for us. Dave then recommend a friend or associate to us &amp; after a mistake on Dave&#8217;s part, I was looking forward to hearing from Dave&#8217;s associate, but I didn&#8217;t.</p>
<p>I decided to take matters into my own hands, so I asked Dave for Brian&#8217;s company name. I was given the name  All Tech Sollutions, but when I searched online, I can&#8217;t find anything online that points to a company that does merchant accounts. Then I asked Dave for the phone number. First I was told he couldn&#8217;t give it to me, then I was told he didn&#8217;t have it.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s when I started to get very suspicious.</p>
<p>After calling Dave again to find out what was taking so long, I was told he would get right on it, but after 2 days went by, still NOTHING from either Dave or this Brian.</p>

<p>So I went to visit my sister in New York in August of 2009 &amp; she wanted to stay at a hotel in Manhattan for the weekend. Since she is religious, we had to order kosher food &amp; make sure it was picked up before Shabbat started. I decided I would treat her to the dinner on Friday night.</p>
<p>A couple of weeks before I started looking for restaurants &amp; I came across Darna restaurant. My sister called them to figure out what had to be done to make sure food was ordered &amp; ready for when we arrived in that area to pick it up.</p>
<p>In true fashion we were all stressed rushing to get out of her house &amp; ready for the drive to Manhattan. I had been looking at the Darma menu writing down what I wanted while she was running around getting ready. She had already called them saying we didn&#8217;t want their pre-set meal, we wanted to order a&#8217;la carte. They said that was fine, but when we called to actually give them the order, all of a sudden the story changed &amp; I started to get upset. I should have known this was going to be a problem if the people over there say one thing one minute, then change their tune the next.</p>
<p>I will admit that we probably called a little too late, but the guy should have told my sister when was the absolute latest time we could call to order. They know their restaurant &#8211; we aren&#8217;t mind readers.</p>
<p>So my sister got on the phone &amp; smoothed things out. If they weren&#8217;t going to take our order, we were going to have serious issues &amp; no food to eat since we had already settled on this restaurant &amp; it was too late to choose anything else. Plus, it had to be near the hotel.</p>
<p>We ordered the meal which came to a hefty $150 &amp; change. I specifically asked the guy who was the owner how much the total was going to be &amp; he shrugged me off. We confirmed it would be ready by the time we got there in an hour.</p>
<p>We got the car packed up &amp; headed downtown.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not religious so this didn&#8217;t matter to me, but my sister is very religious &amp; as I said, we were running late. She was driving like a typical New Yorker which of course was scaring me to death.</p>
<p>We couldn&#8217;t go to the hotel yet, we had to pick up the food first, but when we got there, guess what&#8230; the food <strong>WASN&#8217;T</strong> ready.</p>
<p>While it was a nice place inside, they seemed clueless as to what was going on. When the food started to finally come out &amp; we finally got the bill I was <strong>SHOCKED</strong>! The bill wasn&#8217;t $150, it was over $200. There was no way I was leaving there paying that amount, so I had to sit down &amp; try to figure out what was going on.</p>
<p>Turns out they made a Cesar salad with fish instead of a regular Cesar. We didn&#8217;t ask for that, so they credited the difference. Then something else was wrong, I think they gave us a large of something even though I ordered small. I had to rush to open all the containers while my sister is having a near fit because we are so late.</p>
<p>Then after the guys corrected the bill, it was <strong>STILL</strong> too high. Finally I figured out what the problem was. Their site&#8217;s prices &amp; the prices they were charging us were <strong>NOT</strong> the same. The site&#8217;s prices were lower.</p>
<p>Now they call the owner on the phone which is when I really started getting upset.</p>
<p>The guy was <strong>RUDE</strong>, arrogant &amp; <strong>REFUSED</strong> to honor the prices that were on <strong>HIS</strong> site. I don&#8217;t care what mistake was made, it wasn&#8217;t my problem &amp; he wasn&#8217;t even admitting to his mistake, he was making it seem like it was no big deal that the mistake was made, we had to eat it.</p>
<p>If you own a business &amp; have a website, your prices better be up-to-date on your site. If they don&#8217;t, that is <strong>NOT</strong> the customer&#8217;s fault, it&#8217;s the owner&#8217;s.</p>
<p>The guy finally gave me like $10 off, but refused to give me back all the money he overcharged me. At one point he even said, &#8220;fine, then just leave the food there &amp; go.&#8221; Can you believe that? After all we went through just to get the food &amp; I spent a fortune, &amp; this is how he treats us. And what if we walked out. He would have been left with over $200 worth of food, but I guess it&#8217;s more important for him to be nasty &amp; get his way, than to honor his own prices &amp; make the customer happy.</p>
<p>I know New Yorkers are not always known for being nice, but this is terrible how we were treated.</p>
<p>I had no choice but to pay the bill &amp; grab the food &amp; go.</p>

Ali &#8211; owner</p>
<p>I called Ali up to find out a price (quote) for a custom built computer. We chatted for a few minutes &amp; I e-mailed him the specs for the computer asking him to let me know if something seemed out of place. I mean he is supposed to be the expert, right?</p>
<p>He said he would get back to me. That was on February 20, 2010.</p>
<p>After a week went by &amp; I didn&#8217;t hear from him I called &amp; left a message on their voice mail.</p>
<p>No return call.</p>
<p>I called again during business hours, got someone who said that Ali did receive my message, but had left for the day.</p>
<p>I asked why Ali never called me back. The guy didn&#8217;t know.</p>
<p>Since it was starting to feel like Ali didn&#8217;t care at all &amp; was stringing me along, I told the guy if I don&#8217;t hear from him by tomorrow, I am no longer interested, &amp; I will be blogging about my experience.</p>
<p>Well it&#8217;s April 22, 2010 &amp; I never heard from Ali again. Ali wasted my time.</p>

<p>So here&#8217;s what happened from my point of view&#8230;</p>
<p>Jafar contacted me after he saw a VERY old post on a forum looking for a good merchant account.</p>
<p>We started e-mailing back &amp; forth as I was vetting him.</p>
<p>After several days went by &amp; all seemed fine, he gave me Adil&#8217;s name &amp; number because my questions were too complex for him. I then attempted to speak to Adil.</p>
<p>We played telephone tag a couple of times, but I&#8217;m not complaining about that.</p>
<p>Supposedly Jafar was just a friend of Adil&#8217;s &amp; he didn&#8217;t know all  the details. Adil was doing Jafar a favor by giving him a job.</p>
<p>In fact, Jafar had given me misinformation that Adil sorted  out. Fine, no problem I was still very patient &amp; understanding up  until this point.</p>
<p>Things started to become a problem when Adil said he sent me details in writing &amp; I didn&#8217;t receive any e-mail.</p>
<p>Around this time Jafar followed up via e-mail only once, &amp; when I wrote him back saying I haven&#8217;t received anything, I got no response back. This from a guy who had e-mailed me 3 times per day prior to that.</p>
<p>Finally I get on the phone with Adil a second time &amp; we talk for almost an hour because he didn&#8217;t remember a lot of what had been said the first time. This shows me he has poor skills at keeping track of what is going on. Not to mention that he gave me no reason for why I never received the e-mail with the details.</p>
<p>After talking for a while, it became clear that Adil was very good at selling me on his company.</p>
<p>All seemed fine &amp; I was really this close to signing up with them, but I had a few more questions Adil said he had to look into. All of a sudden he put me on speaker &amp; had some other guy named Thomas come in on the conversation.</p>
<p>At that point I just happened to mention that I was going to be moving my company over to Magento. If you don&#8217;t know what that is, it&#8217;s a shopping cart. Thomas knew what that was, Adil did not. Supposedly Thomas was the tech guy around there.</p>
<p>Then out of the blue Thomas starts saying he doesn&#8217;t know if Magento will work with their gateway. I&#8217;m like, &#8220;I never said I was moving to your gateway.&#8221; Once Adil started telling me what the gateway&#8217;s fees were, I thought maybe I will move, but nothing had been set in stone.</p>
<p>I asked for everything Adil &amp; I had discussed (fees, our referral structure, etc.) in writing. This time Adil e-mails Thomas &amp; ccs me &amp; asks Thomas to send me a proposal.</p>
<p>Instead of getting a proposal I get this&#8230;</p>
<p>&#8220;Michelle,</p>
<p>It appears as though our gateway, NMI, is not supported by Magento any longer.  If you happen to choose another shopping cart suite, I would be happy to check into our compatibility and re-evaluate our ability to partner with you.</p>

<p>Now I was <strong>PISSED</strong>. <strong>NOWHERE</strong> in any of my conversations with either Jafar OR Adil did anyone SAY that I would have to be on a certain shopping cart or a certain internet gateway just to get their merchant account.</p>
<p>I wrote a very upset e-mail to Adil &amp; also called him &amp; was told he was away for a week on business.</p>
<p>Then I see that Adil picks up the e-mail &amp; I wait for him to call me.</p>
<p>Nothing.</p>
<p>Then I call his cell phone &amp; he says he just got off a plane &amp; that maybe his assistant opened the e-mail because he didn&#8217;t. I told him I was upset about the insinuation that this was all contingent on me using <strong>THEIR</strong> gateway.</p>
<p>He didn&#8217;t know what was going on, said he&#8217;d speak to Thomas.</p>
<p>I spoke to Adil on 03-22-10</p>
<p>As of today 04-21-10, <strong>NOTHING</strong>, not from Adil, not from Jafar, NOT FROM Thomas.</p>
<p>In fact, last Saturday someone calls me early in the morning &amp; I was like, who is calling so early on a Saturday morning.</p>
<p>Turns out it was Jafar &amp; he didn&#8217;t leave a message. I hate it when people call &amp; don&#8217;t leave messages.</p>
<p>I probably wouldn&#8217;t have gotten upset about that had all this other nonsense not taken place, but it had &amp; that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m posting this, because I don&#8217;t like it when it&#8217;s clear companies are disorganized, only do <strong>HEAVY</strong> sales pitches, but can&#8217;t provide substance &amp; give <strong>POOR</strong> customer service or pre-sales support. Those are the worst types of companies.</p>
<p>I had just wasted TONS of my time, was happy in the beginning that I was going to get a better merchant account only to feel like I had been strung along, been mismanaged &amp; that <strong>NO ONE</strong> over there at Premier Interactive Solutions knows what&#8217;s going on or cares about how much time they waste of others.</p>
<p>Jafar started e-mailing me on 03-09-10, so that&#8217;s 2 weeks of my precious time wasted had I just been told by either him or Adil from the onset that they don&#8217;t set anyone up unless they use their internet gateway.</p>

<p>After being lied to, treated like garbage by PC Outfitters &amp; rushing all the way over there only to have to walk back out 3 minutes later, someone recommended PC Outlet.</p>
<p>Unlike PC Outfitters, I walked into a nicely lite CLEAN storefront where Vince helped me with my computer. He was honest upfront &amp; said maybe he could fix it that day, he would do his best to try &#8211; it all depends on what is wrong with it. He never lied to me both on the phone or to my face which is what PC Outfitters did.</p>
<p>Within 1 minute after screwing in the video card connection the computer was up &amp; running. He even did a free diagnostic on some parts within the computer &amp; he spent a lot of time with me discussing adding in more memory.</p>
<p>He only charged me a very small fee for his 1 minute of time when he could have easily tried to rip me off or gauge me like many other computer stores do. Although I can not be 100%, I&#8217;m pretty sure PC Outfitters would have charged me the full $60 just to screw that part back in.</p>
<p>If you are looking to have your computer looked after without fear of being ripped off or the person not knowing what he/she is doing, I recommend PC Outlet. I will continue to go back to them if I have any computer problems.</p>
