To the 90's kids out there, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is making a comeback as a Series under Netfix. As I've heard, this is Netflix' most expensive production yet. Neil Patrick Harris - Yes, HIMYM's Barney Stinson, is Count Olaf and I've already watched Episode 1(premiered last January 13, Friday) and why it's hard to focus and not see him as Barney Stinson :) I hope it gets better in the next episodes. It seems that they've already released all 8 Episodes and is the adaptation of Books 1-4. I'm wondering why they've released all already. Anyways, let's enjoy! (or the other way around).

It's either I'm not watching the ending or I'm delaying watching the ending. For W and WLFKJ, I both delayed watching the ending because I didn't want them to end. 😭😭 WLFKBJ is like the cherry on top of 2016 Kdramas. Huhu. I cried in so many episodes. I laughed and giggled in almost all of the episodes!!! It's the stress reliever you'd wanna binge watch. It's not the typical high school drama and JoonHyung and Kim Bok Joo is not your typical Kdrama OTP. The story, cast and characters are all just so adorable. It's in my Top 4 Drama for 2016. 👍👍

This is the first lead role for both Lee Sung Kyung and my love Nam Joo Hyuk. I first saw NJH, of course, in Scarlet Heart Ryeo which is also in my Top 4 Kdrama of 2016. Among all Goryeo's princes in Hae Soo's life, I loved his character as Baek Ah the most (even way better that the main character 4th Prince Wang So). When I learned from NJH's instagram that he has an upcoming drama, I immediately put that under my radar. I knew LSK from Doctors which was also another good Kdrama from 2016 but did not make it to my top 4 hoho. I actually hated her character in Doctors which means her acting was good right? And was also doubtful earlier it they'll make a good couple. I didn't expect I'll like her so much now.

NJH is fairly tall at 6'2'' and LSK's 5'9'' complements him just right! Does that mean that NJH's future leading ladies have to be tall as well? hehehe. So apparently, LSK had already a few supporting roles 1) Cheese in the Trap which is on my list because I've heard recommendations from my friends that it's also good. 2) Doctors - which I've already mentioned earlier.

Descendants of the Sun Episode 1-2

For the most Kdramas I've watched, I have seen scenes more than once where the leading woman is caught between 2 men and both are just so adorable. Well sometimes, the second lead man is more deserving than the other (Falling for Innocence, Lovers in Paris). Tragic Love Stories such as Memories of Bali and 49 Days. There are definitely lots of the Cinderella type of kdramas. Sometimes the plot is a about the rich male / poor lady agony or vice versa (Shining Inheritance, Boys over Flowers). Another cliche story is when a girl covers up to be a man (Sangkyunkwan Scandal, Coffee Prince, He's Beautiful).

And DoTS gave me a fresh Kdrama plot.

Is it love at first sight? I think not. Maybe, they were attracted to each other at first sight but it wasnt love.

Leading man is adorable, charming and direct to the point. No more running around the bush. He knows what he wants and he's confident with what he wants.

Descendants of the Sun It's a Military(korean) soldier and a surgeon love story and how the girl really likes the guy but she has hesitations and reservations because of his line of work.

By the time I started watching DOTS, I ditched all my american series because i got Yoo Si Jin absorbed. Every episode of DOTS is a rollercoaster ride.

Episode 1

We saw Sin Jin in casual attires and he looked damn pretty on all his outfit
We saw Si Jin topless. Bakit di na naulit? Char!
Ep 1 pa lang and it already makes your heart flutter all through out.
In this first episode, Si Jin had to stand her up on their supposedly first date
Their meeting was also cute. Not somthing I've seen anywhere.
Chosen OST are always on point and I think the OSTs play a big role
The helicopter pick up makes him legit haha
The action scenes are not to cringe for, they are not ridculous action scenes.
You get curious with Seo Dae Young and Myeong Yun Joo's love story.

Rewatching it over and over again you'll find loop holes in the scenes and acting haha. Like how can a member of the alpha team of the Special Forces not know why they had to take off identificarion tags and where they are being deployed!

Episode 2

They successfully established how ironic their line of works are. KMY saves lives while YSJ deals with death to keep peace
That waiting scene and showing up 2 hrs before their date was kilig! I saw a video in youtube commenting that a man showing up 2 hrs earlier is impolite! Wel if it's YSJ, it never is!
They had their first date but KMY got stood up again
KMY rejects YSJ the first time. I think she was just really emotional that time and why she had to reject him at the time

Descendands of the Sun Showing in The Philippines

My little sister and I are both fans of Series but she’s never a fan of Korean Drama. From time to time I do a hiatus in watching them because you know, it keep me up til the sun is up. This time, I finally convinced my siter to watch one!

How did I know this Kdrama? Saw friends who keep on reposting this. Then I saw that GMA7 will also be showing it. I thought it will be a heavy serious drama or something I wouldnt like because of the impression the title gives you. But it’s not!

So while the iron is hot, I’m doing a write up of Descendants of the Sun. I saw it somewhere that it will be a normal 16 episode series and as of this writing, the latest episode is Episode 10 and is finale is set by 1st week of April. So I’m not sure when GMA7 plans to release it and on which slot.

What makes this Korean drama stand out? At least for me, it’s a new setting. It’s a military centred romance between a Soldier and a Surgeon who were bound by destiny as they meet the second time in a not so romantic place, the field. They struggle their feelings while they’re between a natural disaster, epidemic and a run against bad guys.
I could totally understand the perspective of a woman why she’d hesitate at first or was feeling confused and reject him a couple of times. Not once but everytime they are on a middle of a date, our leading man has to be summoned somewhere, calling of his work. And through out the story, she learns that his role requires him to be always risking his life and will be away from her most of the time if they will end up together. Of course I’m a fan of happy endings. I hope that she’ll join the army as an army doctor and that they could be together more.

Episode 1 will make you hooked to the screen and will make you want to finish the next 10 episodes. It’s light, funny and the characters are very charming! I beleieve Episode 1 was a total hit. The story is fast paced. It’s not boring and they have chemistry on first sight. There’s kilig overload.

Si Jin’s character is too straight forward. I guess it’s all the girls’ weakness when men are being too straightforward and you know and feel that he’s honest and not there to fool around.

I like the flow of the story that it’s NOT the typical stories I’ve read and watched over and over again. At least they are focused on a love story where there’s no love triangle or complicated foursome love twist.

Oh by the way, the OSTs are amazing. Yung di mo kailangang maintindihan para maramdaman yung kanta. I’ve been playing them for a week already 😉

Falling for Innocence / Carmina GMA 7

I can't find the reason why I got hooked to thus drama.

So I discovered this series last Monday because I was back on midshift. Since then, inaabangan ko na sya twing umaga. Parang naging alarm clock ko nga e.

Then last Friday, I startrd watching episode 6 then finished episode 16 yesterday.

And today, I'm watching aging the Tagalog version and probably one of the reasons I got hook is the OST. Hihi

Probably same way I got hook with Future's choicr. I really liked the OST that it's in my spotify playlist.

What I wanna tell my kids about the Papal Visit in 2015

In my textbooks, there are definitely lines and stories there about visits of the pope in the Philippines. And when my kids will ask me about it, the story would be:

It was a historic 5 straight days Holiday (January 15-19, 2015).
Streets were closed including the street were we lived in. It was closed for 5 days.
Streets were wiped out. No pedicabs, street children neither the homeless men.
I was in a cab from SM Makati to McKinley when the pope has arrived. Kuya Driver an I were listening to the minute by minute broadcast. I felt goosebumps. Though im not a Catholic.
In the whole duration, there were times I'd feel something about the visit.
Lots of my friends(at least facebook told me so), they went to see the Pope. Friends i didnt expect theyd do it. Stand with the crowd, wait for hours and just get a glimpse of the Papa.
His visit brings hope to many people. Ans probably reminder and revival to the Catholics. Just as long that people should not worship him as he is only an instrument as well by God. Glory should be God's and not the Pope's.

Book Review: To All the Boys I've Loved Before

So I read this book and I somehow have that uneasiness in me that not until I write it all out here, it wont leave me. Ironically, it's just like Lara Jean, the protagonist in the story.

Story is focused on middle aged group. I know it's not for me anymore but maybe it's the fact that I never experienced most of these in highschool that now I'm somehow catching up.

The whole plot of the story was surprisingly that cliche one with that famous school varsity ending up with a nobody... But with a twist!

The twist is what actually made me impulsely buy this book. Though I may have expected MORE into the MESS that was mentioned...probably more action and drama. Haha. But anyway, here are the things I have noted in the book.

As i said, it's that cliche story with a twist.
I somehow could relate a lot to Lara Jean's personality. Writing (though not exatly love letter goodbyes)... But i do write out things for me to get over something. It'll get messed up in my head and will feel like its an open case with no closure unless it HAS been written. And about the boys I've loved before, i think ive only drafted only once (blog) about him. Cant remember what ive written actually. Drafted but never published it(of course!). Ill try to look for it when i have time. Haha.

I like that book because the scenes are close to reality. And I was wrong with my prediction! You see, for every movie or book, we usually have a prediction in our heads already as to what's gonna happen or who's gonna end up with who. I really thought in the first parts of the book that its about Lara Jean and Josh. But as it went along, I said hey why is it all now Peter K when I'm almost at the half of the book. That's just where I settled, ok fine. It's the school jock again.

It was a good description of a family. I dont know how to describe it but the way the author wrote it, I was really able to picture it out! And the story is not all about Lara Jean and Peter, there's also Kitty and her dad and her older sister Margot.

It's that moment when you feel like a book was written based on your life? Haha. I felt like this book was. As an excerpt, Lara Jean said.. It gets scary when its real. And I could totally relate!

Every film or movie has their target audiences. Some movies may be good for some where for the others, they aren't. What's so good about Indie Films is that they have an attack to life's realness especially in 3rd world countries such as the Philippines. It showcases lives of people that the other part of the population do not know they exist. I also had aspirations before to produce my own film though not necessarily an indie film. Could be a documentary or a Christian-based film. I thought that those who produce the indie films, their stories are stories that are close to them.

Book Review: The Fault In Our Stars

I was never a bookworm. In fact, the first time I've read a book from cover to cover is just a few years after I graduated college. It was titled "The Shack" that my office mate lent me. After that, I got fascinated in the world of fiction reading. Then if I could still remember all, I read a book whose title I forgot but was written by the The Devil Wears Prada author, Dear John, Hunger Games Trilogy. Right now, I'm reading the Divergent Trilogy.

The Fault in Our Stars is about cancer patients and cancer survivors. It centers mainly on young love despite the odds of fighting cancer.

In High School, teachers would usually ask you to do a book review and one if the elements of it is explaining the title. And if I will be asked to explain why the title of this book is The Fault in Our Stars, I'll probably not get a good grade. I might not be able to answer that very well. The book was surprisingly(at least for me) written with a lot of metaphors. But don't get me wrong, I appreciate metaphors. But it's just that I feel like I dont understand parts of the book. I also noticed that the book was somehow written a Shakesperean way. Maybe that's why. I was never a fan because my teachers never asked us to ready his works. There was a part in the book where it mentioned the fault in our stars which is somehow related to Shakespeare but still I didn't understand =)). It took me two days to finish it,

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

So what is a gumiho? It's the korean translation of a nine-tailed fox. My Girlfriend is a Gumiho is a Korean series casted by Dae-Woong(played by Lee Seung Gi who also was the lead actor in Shining Inheritance) and Mi Ho(played by Shin Min Ah who also appeared in My Mighty Princess).
Good thing I've read synopsis spoilers because if I have not, I could have resented watching the ending.
This is the first korean series that had made me a lot of big laugh.
The 100 day quest was a bit confusing! I was lost whether who's gonna die, how and why!
The story was light. Not too much drama.
Lots of metaphors! - it got what it calls cinematography.
Compared to the last 2 series I watched - Secret Garden and I am Legend, I wasn't pressing the fast forward button. You would want to watch all scenes.
I wasn't that enthused in watching during the start of the series. I was just patient since a lot were saying it is good and that my siblings are watching it. I you have not watched it from the start and didn't know the whole story, I bet you wont watch it anymore.
I even thought it was a Shounen, a genre of shows that's more directed to male audiences. In fact, I know a lot of guys who have watched and finished it before I was even half of it. But even if it is, the story was still cute and made me watch til the end.
I have no particular favorite scene but the series was nomonomonomonomonomonomo cute :P

Secret Garden Review

The first time I saw the trailer in GMA 7, I knew I wanted to watch this new series.
The story is new - in terms of the "twist". It's a bit fictional since there's some "magical" exchange of bodies involved. But I guess that Cinderella meets prince Charming thing is still there.
Kil Ra Im(played by Ha Ji Won) was the lead actress from Memories of Bali. :)
Kim Joo Woon (played by Hyung Bin) was the lead actor from Kim Sam Soon. I liked his hair in there more.
Oska on the other hand was the one who played the Director in Marrying a Millionaire! And I did not even notice that. It was my brother who told me. His role was way to serious to become Oska! hahahaha.
Lots of kilig moments.

Pasinaya 2011

After Sunday Service, Doms pulled me to CCP for the Pasinaya 2011 Event. I’ve never heard of the event before except that he showed me this (while in the bus) article saved from his HTC Pulse(Makes me want more or an HTC too!).

Pasinaya 2011 was “dubbed as the biggest one-day performing arts festival” with more than 80 performances from the different corners of CCP.

Since we came in at around 3:30 PM, we were only able to watch a theater performance from JUAN MAKASINING YOUTH ARTIST Network and the Grand Finale at the CCP Main Theatre.

My Amnesia Girl

My Amnesia Girl is probably the most "corny" Filipino film you'd ever watch not because of the corny plot but because all of the hit corny Filipino jokes used all through out the movie. If you know Nicole Hyala's Mahal Kita Kasi song, you know what I mean!

Mall of Asia's Premiere Cinema was jam packed with long queue of line 20-30 minutes before the 5:30 showing. "Patok sa Takilya" sabi nga ni Ate Guard habang umuusad na yung pila nang magpapasok na sila sa loob.

My expectations before watching the movie: I first knew the movie from a tumblr blog pinoymovies-something and after watching the traiker, I initially had thoughts of the movie as somehow patterned to 50 First Dates. Then I've read Aileen Apollo's blog about this. After watching the movie, I personally think it is new that Star Cinema was able to provide the audience with the ""Ahhhh" feeling. From the trailer kasi akala ko nga, parang 50 First Dates. So I really got curious kung pano sya gagawin ng SC. But then, it's a different story pala. After that scene in the grocery when Apollo and the boys went near to Irene, I asked with a concluding tone, "ahhh.. wala syang amnesia?! ?"

General comments:

1. Di ko lang maintindihan kung bakit magagalit/magtatampo si Apollo nung nalaman nya na hindi pala nagka-amnesia si Irene, parang mas maganda nga yun--well coming from a girl's perspective.

2. Ipilit ang totoong amnesia kay Apollo.

3. Would have been a tragic ending --well buti na lang at hindi. The scene when Apollo and Irene are trying to reconcile on each other, it was already predictable of what's going to happen. Gusto ko na lumabas ng sinehan nung mababangga na si Apollo.

4. Nakakatawa. Ewan ko lang kung napanood mo to at never kang natawa sa mga korny lines nilang dalawa. Most of the pick up lines are gasgas na pero mabenta pa rin.

5. Heart-breaking. Honestly, hindi ako naiyak. Pero yung kasama ko naiyak. Feeling ko kasi di ako nakakarelate sa situation ni Irene(Bride left by a RunAwayGroom), but I would commend that twist of the story kasi at least it's really worth Irene's amnesia act.

Notable scenes:

4. Apollo's freakin efforts to pursue Irene again.

I'll Be There Movie Review (2010)

I just watched the movie I'll Be There and I can't believe it made me cry. I'm not a big fan of KC Concepcion because I'm not satisfied with her acting. Naiirita ako kapag english sya ng english and I can barely hear her words. @_@

From the trailers and all advertisements that it's a family movie, I didn't have any intentions of watching the movie. But while my brother was browsing through the net online Filipino movies, I asked him to play I'll be there[after watching Hating Kapatid].

But Ok. I just want to clear it out, there are 3 scenes from the movie that caught my attention.

Scene 1. The Beach Scene when Mina has finally forgiven and accepted her father again and can call her father "Papa" again. [With the hug effect]

Scene 2. The Reyna Elena Scene where Mina tried out the dress she's gonna wear for Santa Cruzan. Mina said she's going back to New York and then her Dad held his hand and asked "Bakit pa?". That scene when she refused her father's request and Mina cheers him up and they end up with the Father-Daughter Dace. Then I'll be there was playing in the background... my tears started to prepare for falling.

Scene 3. She's back in New York and Carmela, her boutique financier, told her "wala ka nang utang". My tears fell when Carmela said that Gary, Kristina's father, sold their property so the debt will be cleared. So there... It made me cry. And I was like crying in front of my brother[David] and I was so funny while we were watching the movie. Hahaha

PS. I also like this scene from the movie, See Mina's shocked face.

Jang Geung Suk

A friend recommended me this movie Doremifasolatido. Nainis ako. Nalungkot. Iba't ibang emosyon. Pero natuwa naman ako sa istorya. I'm supposed to do a review but Im afraid I wont get any sleep anymore. So.. I just want to tell that I have confirmed that the person who played lead role in He's Beautiful Tae Kyung and the one from Doremifasolatido is of the same person! He is Jang Geung Suk.

This friend who recommended me to watch the movie has just told me that they are of the same person and I was in doubt because how come I never noticed. Hahaha. But seriously, I wasn't convinced not until now. Well, I liked Jang Geung Suk's image as Eun Gyu in Doremifa and I have not liked that much his look as Tae Kyung in He's Beautiful.

He indeed had changed his looks. I think it's the hair. I've seen a few more of his pictures online and he seems to be of 2 different persons. :)) While googling, I've come upon this blog that showcases the rumor he got a cosmetic surgery. You can just check out the blog here. Nevertheless, it's still him :) ..But I really like "better" his image in Doremifa.

He's Beautiful

It's the same old Korean's version-ing of the Cinderella Story which even if it's very much used, these movies and series will always be a hit.

He's Beautiful, in it's International English Title, is the story of supposed soon-to-be-a-nun and suddenly turns into the newest member of the Korean rockstar band AN-JELL. The twist is that the girl will have to disguise herself as a guy in order to cover up for her twin brother.

Where's the twin brother? Go Mi Nam(the real one) was out in States recovering from a cosmetic surgery that didn't turn out well and where he has to stay there for at least a month. But with the tight schedule and immediate demand from the Production Company, Mi Nam's manager resorted to Go Mi Nyo's help through disguising. Just so lucky for all of them that they are fraternal twins. They look exactly the same and both have what they called "angelic" voice.

Hwang Tae Kyung. He's the leader of the band. He is like the Jun Pyo of the team. He has some drastic past and cold relationship with his mother which possibly causes his being so irritable. He is so much of a neat-FREAK and likes pouting his lips when thinking. He discovered Go Mi Nam's secret through a video cam(watch the series so you would know!). With some twists and turns, he was able to help Go Mi Nam in covering up her secret.

Kang Shin Woo. His character resembles more of Lei from Meteor Garden(Ji Hoo of BOF). He's the guy you could have and might have said "Sana sya na lang." (LOL) He has the heart warming personality and romantic but martyr-type of guy that you would hardly hardly(major major) find these days. He could have been the most pathetic guy in the world if Go Mi Nyu have never known that Shin Woo had known that she was a girl for the longest time.

Jeremy. He is like the Wesley character of Hana Kimi Taiwan who from time to time gets frantic and paranoid towards his feelings to Go Mi Nam. He's the only one from the team who doesn't know Go Mi Nam was a girl. Well aside from that, his character is the easy go lucky guy and someone who adorably loves celebrations! He always cheer up the whole team and by the way also loves playing with his pet dog Jolie. My favorite scene with Jeremy is the Bus Scene where he courageously poured out his feelings to Go Mi Nam(the disguised one). Afterward, he said to Go Mi Nam that after they step out of the bus, they should forget what happened and they will be good friends again.(something like that!)

Go Mi Nam. As usual, the innocent looking girl and has that kind of hard to understand things. She's naturally clumsy and gullible but is very thoughtful and cute - makes these guys go loco over her. Shin Woo several times confesses his feelings to Mi Nam through his stories and she never had a clue that she was the girl that Shin Woo is in love with.

Yu Hee. The female antagonist and is Go Mi Nam's love rival with Tae Kyung. It was pretty a unique twist they had for Yu Hee's case where she wasn't the usual ex girlfriend or childhood sweetheart or the bride to be via fixed marriage. In this series, Tae Kyung and Yu Hee meet in an awkward scene and they actually start to hate each other. Only Yu Hee ends up liking Tae Kyung and of course Tae Kyung liking Go Mi Nam.

You might have a hint already, yes it's somewhat a combination of twists and scenarios from Hana Yori Dango(Meteor Garden and BOF) and Hana Kimi. But even if you as a viewer already knows the happy ending part, you would still look forward on how it's gonna end.

By the way, there are even scenes that I remember seeing in Meteor Garden. It was that scene when Sanchai was running after the bus to stop and vice versa. If I'm not mistaken, there's also a scene where it's Dao Ming Ahse running after the bus San Chai was riding. In he's beautiful, Go Mi Nam was running after the "Pleasure Bus", that's how Jeremy calls it.

Over-all, the series was not that tear-jerking but much of a Comedy-Romance plot. Of course, there were a lot of "ridiculous" scenes which if it was done in Filipino teleseryes, you might never watch it again :) It also had the Small World Effect in the ending where Go Mi Nam's father was Tae Kyung's mother's Love affair.

I also like the way their conversations were written(as if I understood). Well in English subs and in the actual scenes, they were able to highly emphasize their use of metaphors such as stars in expressing their Go Mi Nam's love for Tae Kyung.

Come on. With 16 chapters, I marathon-ed this for four consecutive nights(or mornings rather) and went to bed at around 5 to 6 in the morning.

With this series, I learned the difference between Hyung and Oppa. Both words pertain to an older brother, it's just that girls use Oppa and guys use Hyung.

Inception

Right. I was hardly thinking who the lead role of Inception was. Ofcourse it's Leonardo DiCaprio.

I've been hearing a lot about the movie Inception -- never in billboards or commercials but a lot through word of mouth. And from the plan of watching Hating Kapatid starring Judy Ann Santos and Sarah Geronimo, my friend and I end up watching Inception(in 2D, got no other choice anyway).

And out of curiosity is now amazement with infinity. I could not think of words of how to describe the movie. It was all plain wideness of imagination. According to my handy-dandy desktop installed dictionary WordWeb, inception means An event that is a beginning; a first part or stage of subsequent events.

A dream within a dream. That's what the movie inception is all about. And the vastness of the possibilities lets you think of the possibilities itself - 3 Levels of dreams, a story that makes you raise your left eyebrow at the start and say "aaaaaahhhhh" at the end. This is a a movie that at the end, it least assures you that you'll be able to arrange the puzzle that's being served to you at the start. It connects the dots -- who the old man, the women in a gun who is actually his wife Mal played by Marion Cotillard and the 2 children who has been at same scene for like 10 times and never had their faces on screen a.k.a distractors and what's with the brass top.

I like much the scene when Ariadne played by Ellen Page was being trained to design dreams and created a cubed city[in 00:22 of Official trailer 2]. I also like that scene in the airplane when everyone just got back from the dream thing and Cobb was the last to wake up.

Would you imagine that the action and suspense packed scenes on the most part of the movie(80% of the movie time) was all just in 1 3-layered dream.

The idea of the "kick" was also interesting. I dunno if it's a already an established fact that the kick happens to everyone. I myself experience the "kick" and yes it wakes me up from my dreams all the time.

I can't see any lessons but the MYSTERY in the movie and connecting the dots -- much kudos to all the creativity:)

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Eclipse(the movie) - the third part of the Twilight Saga was good I should say. I was really looking forward into the quality of this movie and of course ready to compare with Twilight and New Moon. Well quite satisfying although I still didn't had much fun with their almost murmur conversations which I probably won't understand and I appreciate if I had just watched them over DvD's.

Here are a few scenes which I guess are the highlights of the movie:

"You know I'm hotter than you"- Jacob
This line was very catchy and the whole cinema really like growled with this line. This was a funny scene. This might sound intriguing and boastful of Jacob's if you have not seen the movie but that's not the case here. The three of them(Bella, Edward and Jacob) were up in the mountain when the first rain of snow came. Bella was already chilling and Edward cannot do anything[we know that Edward is fre*kin cold]. Well at least we could see frmo Edward's face that he is hurt to see Bella like that. The here comes Jacob in the scene and asking permission from Edward to make Bella feel a little bit warm. How? Wrapping Bella in his arms, that's so sweet of Jacob well and an advantage I should say. Of course Edward can't do anything because she can't let Bella die in cold. This is where Jacob's drops the line "You know I'm hotter that you."

The Wolves and the Vampires unite together. This is one likeable scene that they somehow have to force themselves in alliance along with several tribe to tribe meet ups and shake hands. Underlying reason for the alliance -- to protect the long-haired Bella from Victoria.

Jacob confesses to Bella. Finally! Jacob reveals his true feelings for her. Poor Bella, she got her hand broke after punching a wolf[jacob] in the face. I don't know if I'd be happy that somehow he has feelings for jacob or should be mad[to Bella's character of course] because i know she's still gonna end up hurting Jacob's feelings.

The bracelet - Edward gives Bella a crystal or diamond bracelet after seeing here wearing Jacob's gift which is also a bracelet with a small sculptured wolf hanging on it. [This scene is also funny]

Edward proposing to Bella. Bella wans't in favor of marriage(which I strongly disagree) saying that it's just a piece of paper. Good thing that even if edward is a vampire -- he DO respect Bella as a human and as woman.

All for now, just a few that I've noted in my mind.

Toy Story 3

ToyStory3. I wasn't a big fan of Toy Story. I don't remember my youth playing with toys and I haven't watched Parts 1 and 2 neither but I would give Toy Story 3 a 10-out-of-10 score. The story itself stands alone(meaning you get the story even if you have not watched the first 2 parts as in my case).

The plot was simple and clear. Andy is going to college and the toys(due to series fo misfortunate events) have to make Woody come back home before he leaves.

There are a lot of moral values you could get.

Loyalty -- this that have been going over circles throughout the story. Their loyalty over Andy -- their original owners.

Leadership -- this that Woody has showed off over his friends.

Unity -- what which matters for them. Was highly emphasized when they almost fell off over a burning landfill.

Conviction -- Doing what they are made for. I can highly relate to this. Even if they are just toys, they highly demonstrate as well how we as human beings should act. Living and doing faithfully what we are made to do --- submitting to our own callings. Toys bring joy to their masters and us humans being submitted to our own Master. It's as if the toys are gonna die if they can't be played with anymore.

Love - Looking into another perspective of the movie, Andy's love for his toys -- that scene where he's off to college but before that, he dropped by a house to give the toys to this little girl and making last wishes for her to take GOOD care of the things that are precious to him.That was a very dramatic and thoughtful scene.

And of the course as a big add-on -- the 3d effect. What more could I say?

Proposal Daisakusen

The story is full of love, pain, joy, sacrifices, sadness and twists. You’ll feel nostalgic and remember your highschool friends. Such good friends. I envy the friendship rei, ken, eri, mikio and tsuru have. I wish I have a circle of friends just like them.

Quotable lines:

“i will take care of rei for the rest of my life”
-So innocent yet so sincere. Kenzo said this after rei was brought to the hospital after doing that “glider bar” something.

“…but the most important thing is the purpose of changing something now for the future. Even from now on, don’t you think you’ll reach him in time?”
-I thought Rei will go back in time too! I won't be exciting if it happened.

You’ll be pissed off on how many chances of confessing his feelings to rei that ken just let slipped away. he gets dumbfounded most of the time and was overtaken by Tada-san.

Ending:”that's all?.” or something like "it just ends like that?" I was expecting a better ending, Rei, in wedding dress, was running after Ken who is inside a cab(walking out after giving his message to hte newly weds). She’s calling out his name but ken didn’t hear her at all. hahaha. then meron pa pala after the ending song. But still, unsatisfied. haha.

L: change the world

L saves the whole world by preventing this particular claimed to be an ecological group who believes in changing the ecosystem by exterminating the people of the world. a bunch of scientists who wants to use this lethal virus.

Marrying a Millionaire

It was shown in ABS-CBN in February 2008 after the series Spring Walz and i didnt expect i will like the series. my kuya and i finished it in 3 seatings. The story is ok. The twists and turns are superb Funny Melodrama!

Han Eun-young played by Kim Hyun Joo looked very innocent through out. Acting is fine. She’s also starring in the series Boys over FLowers, a hana Yori Dango Korean Version(which is the enxt on my list to watch)

Kim Young-hoon played by Go Soo – his eyes are cute. He also have this innocent looking face in the series! He also starred in Green Rose(which i didnt know). *kilig factor*
