Mother's Day is May 13 and Revive Our Hearts is providing special programs to help encourage the moms in your audience with practical help to live out God's calling to be bearers and nurturers of life.

Speaking from experience, I know that being a mom can be one of the most rewarding, yet terrifying, jobs on the planet. A friend of mine who is a new mom of a one-month old son shared the realization that she's not sure what she's doing-just praying that she's not "messing him up too much!"

It seems that every day presents an unforeseen challenge and most moms live in a state of "what if" with genuine concerns about raising their children right.

On "Revive Our Hearts" programs airing May 7-11, listeners will hear Nancy Leigh DeMoss' interview with author Erin Davis as they discuss content from her new book, Beyond Bath Time, Embracing Motherhood as a Sacred Role. Erin shares about the unique role mothers have in shaping a family, but also encourages them to recognize that they're not just building a family; they're building a part of God's kingdom. Moms will be reminded of the eternal value of the work they do each day.

Together: Growing Appetites for God's Word

As a mom, I know there are many days when you operate in survival mode. Once you get the kids off to school, there are errands to run, work to do, make time for exercise, plan ahead for dinner and then it's time to pick the kids up, help with homework, get to baseball practice, eat, sleep, and then it starts all over again the next day.

For most families, it's a challenge to fit in quality time together and if you struggle as a parent to consistently read the Bible yourself, how can you pass a love for God's Word along to your children?

Well, another "everyday mama" I know grappled with this same issue. Carrie Ward, homeschooling mom of four and wife of Wes, veteran broadcaster and Director of Media at Revive Our Hearts has written her first book, sharing out of their own family's journey, leading them to develop an insatiable appetite for God's Word.

On "Revive Our Hearts" programs airing April 9-11, listeners will hear Nancy's interview with Carrie as she shares about starting on a quest to read the entire Bible to her young children and now ten years later, the incredible impact this experience has had on her personally and in their family.

True Woman 101: Divine Design

In October 2008, I had the honor of experiencing the launch of a new women's movement as I joined more than 6,000 women who came together in Chicago for the first True Woman conference, hosted by Revive Our Hearts. The goal of that event was to help women . . .

Discover and embrace God's design and mission for their lives
Reflect the beauty and heart of Jesus Christ to their world
Intentionally pass the baton of Truth on to the next generation
Pray earnestly for an outpouring of God's Spirit in their families, churches, nation, and world

Since then, thousands of women have attended subsequent True Woman conferences, thousands more from around the world have signed the True Woman Manifesto, are following the True Woman blog, and are interacting together through various social media communities.

Women are hungry for this message because they've realized that the cultural ideal for womanhood, one that encourages women to be strident, sexual, self-centered, independent, and in control, hasn't delivered the happiness and fulfillment it promised.

True Woman 101 (just released!), is a new Bible study written by Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Mary Kassian that was developed in response to women's requests for biblical teaching and practical resources. It contains essential, foundational teaching on what the Bible says womanhood is all about.

In upcoming weeks on the broadcast, "Revive Our Hearts" listeners will hear Nancy teach on this curriculum. Would you be praying with us that these messages would help women discover God's divine design for their life, and ultimately, put Christ and the gospel on display?

Revive Our Hearts presents First International Conference

This weekend, "turn about" transpires when Nancy Leigh DeMoss heads to the Dominican Republic to minister locally to an anticipated sold-out crowd of over 3,000 women, many who have previously come to the "True Woman" Conferences in the U.S.

Women representing various churches and denominations from several other countries including Mexico and Venezuela, are planning to attend. Please pray that God would bless this event as Nancy ministers to these women.

Another special date coming up on the calendar is February 23^rd-The Collegiate Day of Prayer. As a participating ministry, Revive Our Hearts is encouraging everyone to "Adopt a Campus" and commit to pray for this group, for unity in the body of Christ, and for revival to come about on our nation's college campuses.

We are providing stations with a 60-second PSA (available at our ftp site under "Holiday and Special Event Promos & PSAs/Collegiate Day of Prayer") to help make listeners aware of this special event. For more information, visit www.CollegiateDayofPrayer.org.

The ministry's emphasis on daily Bible reading continues in February with a special series from Nancy on "The Wonder of the Word" (airing February 13-17) followed by a teaching series on Rahab (begins Feb. 20). Perhaps you and many of your listeners have taken Nancy up on her challenge to read the Bible every day in 2012. Revive Our Hearts - Getting Into the Word

There's no better way to begin a new year than to get God's Word into you. Nancy Leigh DeMoss says that your relationship with God will never be any stronger than your relationship with God's Word.

In this two-week series airing on "Revive Our Hearts" (January 2-13), Nancy teaches from Psalm 119 and challenges listeners to spend time reading the Bible every day. This is one habit that could transform your year ahead.

Also airing this month is a special Sanctity of Life series titled, "Finding True Life After Abortion" (January 16-20). Guest Jennifer Smith shares her personal journey, as one who knows the guilt and brokenness that comes after undergoing abortion. Listeners will find hope as they hear how God brought beauty from ashes in Jennifer's life.
