Revolution Groove has always been about The Greater Good, and it is quite clear that The Time Is Now to hold humanity to higher standards.

After almost 30 charity events and countless money raised for local charities, we are setting our sights on a full time freedom fighting mission!

We are about to launch an IndieGoGo campaign so we can raise the funds to create our dream organizing location; an eclectic, funky storefront that empowers the people! This storefront will be a place where people can come together for teach ins and workshops, coffee, music, art and RAD!
The shop will sell merchandise from local and global artisans supporting fair trade and living wages. The Revolution Groove clothing line will be available as well! More exciting information to come!

What a night...30 years in the making!

2 turntables and a microphone...and another 2 turntables and a drum set and a saxophone and a trumpet...and a lot of fun!

We gave, we grooved! We appreciate everyone who came out on a rainy Friday night in Southern California and helped us get down! We collected almost $800 in donations for Youth Hope, got to see a bunch of old friends, we met some new ones and we had an absolute blast! Thank You All!!

Hope for the future starts with today. The Oasis Botanical Sanctuary is the spot. The BoogieMen , The Drum Thieves and Revolution Groove are bringing the jams. Bring your support as we raise money to help local teens who are living on the streets. These kids need help and Youth Hope provides many resources, starting with the basics of food and clothing. There will be raffle prizes and silent auctions. All money (100%) raised will go directly to Youth Hope to help build confidence and promote self-sufficiency for homeless and runaway youth by providing trust, hope, support and education. No one is a lost cause! Come have a great time and give to a great local cause in the amazing environment that is the Oasis. Now is the time to make a difference!

Fresh from almost 4 months in the U.S. and Europe, Ryan will be sharing stories and perspectives from Occupy encampments around the country and their counterparts in Europe, and helping stir up energy for the Occupy movements "Spring Offensive"!

"Ryan has been writing and performing hard-hitting political folk songs for over ten years. A part of the Riot-Folk Collective, his music is aimed to support those working for positive change and to educate people about issues of peace and social & economic justice."

He is also touring to promote his new album Ordinary Heroes, a collaborative work with violinist/journalist/documentarian Michael Fox. The recording, dedicated to historian and activist Howard Zinn, emphasizes and celebrates social movements as a means of overcoming injustice.

The Drum Thieves rocked the Oasis Botanical Sanctuary again, as we helped raise over $600 for dear friends battling to overcome the devastation of a severe auto accident. It may not sound like a lot but it accomplished the very mission we had come come together for. Many thanks go out to our friends and family that were on hand to contribute and those that gave but couldn't make it to the show! Special thanks to KingFish, the opening band rocked and got everyone in the groove. It was a hot summer night indeed as the Drum Thieves performance was easily their best so far. We have included video of their rendition of "Cold Turkey" by our hero John Lennon. Here's to Feeding the Poor, Fighting the Power and Rockin' the Fuck Out! Until we GIVE again...peace!

The British street artist Banksy is back in Los Angeles, just in time to create hype around his Oscar-nominated documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop. This past week, Hollywood has been abuzz with daily reports of new Banksy-claimed street art pieces—at least seven since we last checked.
The work pictured above—titled "Livin' the Dream"—was created on a traffic-choked corner of Sunset Boulevard, just steps from the Sunset Strip. Using a billboard promoting partying in Las Vegas as its canvas, the piece features Vegasified renditions of Disney's favorite couple: Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Ryan's truth and conscience filled acoustic folk rock style speaks volumes of the world we live in. Come enjoy an evening of thought provoking inspiration! In other stops along this West Coast swing of his tour, he'll be taking the stage with members of Stiff Little Fingers as well as Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello. We got to take a huge tub of toys to The Option House in San Bernardino for Christmas. The Option House provides services for victims of domestic violence and their children. Thank You all so very much, I know we made some childrens' holiday a little bit brighter!! And the Passion Production reunion was a blast, thanks Hector! Happy New Year to all...Peace!

The Oasis Botanical Gardens is a non profit organization providing necessary help to endangered species of flora and fauna and restoring ecolibrium to the area! This is easily the coolest spot you've never been too!

The Frazee Community Center provides the areas homeless with food and resources!
