Sent my car to the mech to finish up the mess done by the previous mech. They have intall the Crash Pad carrier support and the pedals together with the 86 steering column. Finally, the car had been out of the workshop for a couple of weeks. There are nitty gritty stuffs that need to be adress, but overall the car can be driven off the workshop and thats the most important factor so that I'll be able to bring it to another workshop to rectified the problems. Seems like ages the car is in the mechanics workshop, but things are getting bad, the mechanic are not doing the work properly and I have been warned. Got no options though cause I'm half way through the journey. Engine are in the bay, Dashboard are in, things are going in, But the steering column and brake and clutch pedals are using the old te71. Nothing going on as usual, the engine are now taken out from the bay, and its being sitting empty in the garage for quite a while. Seems like they are pretty busy at the moment and attention are given to other cars in the garage due to shortage of man power and too many cars. Went to check out my car, yesterday and found out that the mechanic has already started stripping the car and all the dashboard and interior stuff are taken out of the car. Wiring and panels are taken out as well as ducts and ecu. The technician taking out the lights and panels.The TE dash look simple and spartan.Interior is bare to a minimum.Hopefully everything will be properly and nicely
