El unico comentario que tengo es que al final mencionan y ensenan "todas" las fotografias que participaron, lo unico es que de las tres fotos que yo envie no esta ninguna. Good for you two ~ what a small world! I, too, am a former Oracle staffer. I worked for the paper from '88-92 starting on the classified desk, to on-campus advertising rep, and finally to ad manager. What a great few years and yes, the same arguments occurred in the news dept. while I was there also. Go Bulls!

A very informative article. Contrary to many I have read from foreigners and non-Catholics, this is very respetful and does not go into ridiculing traditional costums. I have visited Esquipulas since before paved roads and I am very familiar with traditions regarding the pilgrimage to Esquipulas. I enjoyed reading it an look forward to others like this. I would be a little concerned that the people from Chiquimula would resent the comment that there is nothing else in Chiquimula, whomever said that should visit the Departmente and for starters, should climb Ipala Volcano to the lake in the crater. Great article!

Thanks Terry, for the info. I am hooked to Revue on facebook and learned there also that Bill and Liz had passed away. I was fearful that was the case when our email contact ceased. I was doing the Covill genealogy and Mildred was a missing piece until I found this article. In return I was able to help Bill fill in on info he did not have. <p>Thanks Terry, for the info. I am hooked to Revue on facebook and learned there also that Bill and Liz had passed away. I was fearful that was the case when our email contact ceased. I was doing the Covill genealogy and Mildred was a missing piece until I found this article. In return I was able to help Bill fill in on info he did not have. I stumbled on the art gallery in Antigua, Guatemala that displays Orestes' pieces while I was on a business trip there a couple of years ago. Hi, Pam, I'm so glad that you found the article on Mildred Palmer ... what an interesting person, one of a kind, that's for sure. Bill and Liz Paddock both passed away three or so years ago ... they were much loved and greatly missed.
