The good people of Myrl have quite a good website for linking your presence in various virtual worlds (http://www.myrl.com/)
They made quite a nice building inworld to promote it.
They set up some good video feeds of relevant virtual world news.
They terraformed the land that the building is on, to make sure there wasn't a massive hill in the middle of the room, getting in the way, and swallowing things like seating...
Oh, wait.... they didn't....
Shame.

Residents should learn when creating a shopping venue it's not good for sales to house your creations in a building that makes the visitors have eye strain. A trip to The Magic Circle is somewhat akin to a bad acid trip on the magic roundabout.

A little tip: If you decide that the perfect thing to finish off that delightful summer outfit you've been wanting to wear is a Nazi swastika banner strapped to your body, try to make sure that it, at the very least, fits comfortably on your shoulders. The last thing you want is people laughing at your holocaust-themed style choices.

Well placed shops on the thoroughfare of the linden highways are a wise idea, unfortunately with it's purple glass prim breasts for a roof and concave vendor displays I'm afraid to say *SeXyAvItArS* isn't such a wise idea.

Just rezidont… please someone think of the noobs we know how attracted to bright colours they are....

Splinter Doomdale: With this year’s excitement and birthday celebrations we decided to all split up and float about to find some celebratory Reizdonts. Once we had compiled our lists of mistakes we decided to come back together and have our first Rezidont field trip, which will no doubt be filled with fun, laughter and debauchery.

Seymour Bombastic: Right, sending teleports to you all to see my first Rezidont. Would be shocked if I was alone in finding this. Speak about blowing your own trumpet :D

Splinter Doomdale: Oh lawd I had this one listed too!
Random Mixemup: Wow. There's certainly no mistaking WHO this is promoting!

Splinter Doomdale: Oh yes without doubt and one of my highlights as well... You've got to wonder the meeting they had to come up with that build.... yes lets put this really cool experimental sound plaything in a hideous building that would make most residents walk straight past.
Random Mixemup: It may be a musical exhibit, but that's really no reason to drop acid before deciding how to decorate it
Seymour Bombastic: Aaaaaargh! If I wasn't blind prior, am now. Someone turn it OFF!
Splinter Doomdale: Ok so next I'm going to take you to a bit of a planning don’t.... i.e. exhibitor assistants when planning layouts of sims maybe you should read the descriptions first...

Random Mixemup: I think the biggest challenge here is trying to figure out what the hell this is? An anti-grav roof? Part broken of a boat? A really impractical and inaccessable gallery?
Splinter Doomdale: All of the above perhaps…Build wise it's intriguing.... Exhibition wise it's just prohibitive
Random Mixemup: So, maybe the Don't here is DON'T Forget to make it clear WHAT you are exhibiting?
Seymour Bombastic: So many possibilities. Head now hurting. Darn you hardhat, your not doing your job. Save me!

Random Mixemup: Ok, next we have this, the Collabyrinth, which I know is an exhibit in aid of some probably very worth charities, but I can't help feeling is the world's most rubbish maze. The point is to go through the maze to get to the lovely Japanese garden. But since the maze has no roof, there is nothing to stop you flying or jumping to the centre, and since the maze floats about the (ugh) hedges of the garden, you could just fly in anyway
Splinter Doomdale: it is pretty pointless and not the most rewarding treasure to be found at the end
Seymour Bombastic: I love a good maze and this is not a good maze. It's more just a glass walkway with no choices?
Splinter Doomdale: I'm trying to work out if the hedge is a hedge, or some weed or some form of new fungus
Faith Isodo looks for the exit before deciding she'll need to eat her way out and starts chewing

Splinter Doomdale: So this I think my friends is my worst rezidont for SL7B because it's not tiny friendly and as we are all tiny friendly. We end up drowned in sculpts with leaves the size of our little heads

Random Mixemup: And finally, I think we need to point out one little Rezidon't suggestion to Linden Labs themselves. Possibly, just before your biggest annual event and publicity event, maybe DON'T make a large number of your employees unemployed, thus leading to many of the exhibitors pulling out in disgust at the last minute

Random Mixemup: And I that note I think we can conclude our first Rezidont family outing to the wonders of SL7B. This event is meant to be a showcase for all that is best in Second Life over the past year. While there are some good exhibits as well, I definitely feel that the SL community could do better. Fingers crossed for next year.

Good Question!

It's a blog. But I suspect your question was intended to be a little more probing than that. Hmmm... Well, maybe it would be helpful if first of all I introduce you to our team? You'd like that? Oh Good.

What a ragtag collection of rogues, huh? Well, to give you a bit more information, Seymour is a curious mole, always digging up dirt on people, but beware of being asked to inspect his hole; Splinter is a rag-doll of infinite taste and troublemaking ability; Random is a being of no fixed avatar who occasionally talks about themself in third person; and Faith is the quiet heart of the group, flitting about and keeping us from taking ourselves too seriously.

OK, you get the point, but I still haven't told you what the blog is about, you say? Darn you're impatient! Well, as a group, we have wandered the world of Second Life, looking for the best and most wonderful things to enchant and amaze us. Unfortunately, along the way, we have been plagued by disappointing people, places and purchases, and so have decided to start up this site to try to help to advise all the SL Residents, so that hopefully they don't become Rezidonts. We will name and shame any inworld examples of failure, sloppiness, rudeness, ineptitude and classnesses, not in order to cause drama, but to help you to improve and make SL and it's population the best it can be. We're nice like that.
