Booroomba Rocks

Booroomba Rocks are located approximately 30 minutes South of Canberra, in the Namadgi National Park. To get to the rocks you must walk a relatively steep, but scenic 2.5 km trail starting at Apollo Road.

The trail winds through some thick rainforest areas which are often populated by snakes and lizards.

Booroomba Rocks is a popular destination for rock climbers.

Fly fishing in Jindabyne

I spent last weekend in Jindabyne brushing up on my fly fishing skills. Although I didn’t catch any trout, I managed to get a few sunrise photos while driving down to the Thredbo river.

I can recommend exploring the Snowy Mountains area in Summer. There’s not a lot of people around and plenty of amazing landscapes to photograph. I’ll be going back in March for more fly fishing.

As we were in the area, we decided to walk up Mount Kosciusko. This is a shot of Lake Cootapatamba, the highest lake in Australia.
