Rectangles fall into the trap of wearing men's fashions because they are designed for a blocky frame. This shape is also known as the Ruler shape.

Hourglass Shaped

The coveted hourglass shape is defined by large shoulders and bust, narrow waist, and larger hips, butt and thighs. The best way to tell if you're an hourglass shape is, when you take your measurements, if there is at least a 6" difference between the waist and the bust/hips. While the shape is desired, the hourglass can have trouble fitting in tops like apples and bottoms like pears.
