The Halo Sleep Sack Wearable Blanket has been getting a ton of great press and national coverage. I love the idea of the Sleep Sack and the possibility of it reducing, possibly even preventing SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). If you've ever known a family who lost a baby to SIDS, you know how important it is to try to reduce your baby's risk of SIDS as much as possible.

That being said, I have to wonder . . . how useful is the HALO Sleep Sack? It's a great idea, but is it useful? Or is it even convenient? Would you make time to wrap your baby up, or just dress him up in a warm onesie and send him off to bed?

Toy Storage for $500 - Would You Dare Buy?

I am all for toy storage, but toy storage that costs $500? You must be joking! Unless you're incredibly lucky and loaded, what family can afford storage that costs half a thousand bucks?

I have to admit, I love looking at Petit Tresor's Oeuf Classic Toy Store Storage. It's definitely cute and stylish. Not to mention useful. You could probably keep toys, books, even shoes in it. But it's way too expensive for my budget. But it's definitely cute.

If you had a DIY person in the house - your significant other, perhaps - I bet you could easily recreate the same look. It would take a lot of work and ingenuity but it's possible.

I've posted about maternity pant extenders -- which allow expectant women to wear their pre-pregnancy pants, jeans, and skirts throughout pregnancy as their waist gets thicker. Here's a creative new contraption for T-shirts. The Tee-Shirt Extender by Blush is available in three colors -- black, brown, and white. It allows you to continue wearing some of your pre-pregnancy t-shirts and clothes for a couple extra months.

Available for only $16 from Target, I think it's a nifty contraption for pregnant women. Though I can't tell you how long you will be able to use it, but it's probably great for women in their second trimester, as their belly is getting larger, but they aren't quite big enough for maternity clothes.

Posh Tots and their Ridiculously Expensive Playhouses

Have you heard of Posh Tots? They offer beautiful, but expensive children’s furniture, cribs, and crib bedding for wealthy parents. I don’t know about you, but for the rest of us living on Planet Earth, we can’t afford the ridiculous prices for most of the products from Posh Tots.

For example, check out the Luxury Playhouses from Posh Tots. They are definitely beautiful and creative, but just look at the price tags! The Woodland Princess Castle Bunk Bed -- $22,605! That’s how much some people make in a year. The Pirate Hideway Tree House -- $25,900.

While I have to admit, I wish I could buy these playhouses … I just don’t have that kind of money. No matter how much you love your children, Posh Tots playhouse are just out of the question for the common Jane. But I am envious of anyone who can afford them!
