Changing Seasons, Changing Us

Fall is here!! My most favorite season. The colors are just stunning this year!! The weather has been very warm and peaceful. I have been off work now for four weeks due to Carpel Tunnel surgery, so I have been able to sit outside and enjoy the warm sun, and time alone with our Lord! I have a couple of weeks left to be home and there is now a chill in the air, so I will spend time preparing for my next season in life. . .just like the seasons change we need to change also. Growing in the Lord, we all need to be continuing our growth in Him! How you may ask? Well by reading your Bible on a daily basis, talking with Him, and mostly listening and obeying Him. His word says to meditate on it day and night ,to follow His ways, and Praise Him! Oh boy that's a hard one. . .Praising when all hell is breaking loose around you! Yes that's what we need to do because then the battle is the Lords, not ours and He will go before us when we Praise and thank Him even before we see victory. That's trust in Him, and His word says . . .well basically He has our back!! We are His kids and He is our Protector and Provider, and Healer. . .He is I AM.!!! that means He is what ever you need Him to be for you, because He Loves you!! So grow and change like the seasons. . .the old becomes New, we are New in Him!! So lets do our part by picking up that Bible and wiping the dust off it, now start reading His word for yourself. Then Obey and Praise and thank Him. . .He loves you!! Enjoy this New Season in Your Life!! God Bless You and Watch Your Corners:)

My Jewelry Business

Sorry I haven't been blogging much, but I am so busy with my Jewelry Business and other things in life that I just haven't made the time! Yes I have been selling Premier Designs Fashion Jewelry for almost 3 years and I absolutely LOVE it!! I do home shows and give away LOTS of FREE jewelry to the Hostess:) Its a girls night out and we have a blast. . .If you ever want to host one let me know. . .Well that's where I have been just spending time growing my business and its good because God is good!! Now since the weather is better we will be out riding again, and I will be working in my flower garden this summer. . .time to re-do the garden. .ugh! Life is good, my hubby had back surgery and is back to work Praise God!! We look forward to Riding with our Redemption Riders Motorcycle Ministry again and meeting all the new people and making new friends:)

Attitude Adjustment

This year I will be working on my attitude. Gods word says we need to be Christ like with the mind of Christ! So this is where the change comes in. . . .Reading and meditating on Gods Word DAILY!! Oh I know sounds good but . . .well it starts now, right here right now! I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength so I will! My Priority is putting Him FIRST, not last. I want to be more like Jesus and be positive without giving in to my feelings and emotions when trials come! What I put into my heart will come out my mouth, so I want only Gods word to be in my heart and flow out my mouth!

I just started a Beth Moore study on Breaking Free at my church that I just started going to . .I am hoping to connect with some great new friends and I'm excited to see what God has in store for me. I am also doing the 21 day Daniel Fast with our church to seek God and Pray! I need to be Spiritually Disciplined,and I believe that's a great start!! I will wait on God and watch as He directs my steps this year. . .as I said in one of my New Year posts Trust in the lord and He will direct your path!! I'm trusting!!Just as we work on our physical body we need to work on our Spiritual one also:) That's what I will be doing. . . Oh yeah. . . I guess I will be working on the physical part too. . hee hee, not getting any younger that's for sure:). . .. .What have you planned out for your new year?

Christmas Shopping

Christmas shopping is what you make it. . .really all the crowded people, you have to plan on there being crowds, and you need a lot of patience!! So if your not prayed up and filled with HIS peace,. .dont go!
I love the crowds if they are cordial, and at peace, but if they're not, well we all know how rude and terrible people can be. So let your light SHINE as you confront the crowds. . .Bring Christmas I mean really bring Jesus to someone in the crowd. Keep a smile on, enjoy the faces of the little ones. . .forget the angry looks. . .smile at those angry faces, or pray for them. . .So put your Armor on like His word says in Ephesians 6 :10, and mostly keep smiling:). . . Plan on Blessing someone in that store or mall, show the love of Christ to someone. I did today and it felt so good to be able to Bless a stranger today.
Remember as you go into the crowds, that's where Jesus always went . . .into the crowds. . .they are watching, they are seeking. . .show them His Love:)

His work: on the cross and in the resurrection. As a result, your sin brings no guilt, and the grave brings no fear. His energy: its not up to you. You can do all things through Christ, who gives you strength.
His Lordship: he is in charge of you, and looks out for you.
His Love: what can separate you from it? Who could imagine such gifts? Who could imagine not opening them?

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving day is almost here. A time to sit and be with family and friends, eating turkey and all the trimmings,watching football and yelling with excitement. . .or not. This year my focus is on what JESUS did on that CROSS for me, and how much He Loves me!! I am excited to be with all my kids and grand kids this year, I am very very THANKFUL and BLESSED:) Lets bring JESUS to dinner this Thanksgiving and watch what He does:)

Our Memorial Ride Take Off Redemption Riders, Families and Friends of those that have gone to be with Jesus! We ride every year to honor and remember our loved ones that were a part of our Redemption Riders Ministry. This year we combined our West Michigan Chapter and our Mid Michigan Chapter, what a Blessing it was!! There were family and friends that met us at the restaurant for lunch, and then we ended at a beautiful Park for a short Memorial service with our own Pastor Don ,what a Blessing !

Well the summer is over and I will try to get back into my blogging. What a great Summer:) I hope you all had a wonderful Summer also. Our Redemption Riders Motorcycle Ministry is growing!! Praise God!! We have had many rides and new friends this season, it has been wonderful. During the Fall and Winter months we start our men and women Bible fellowships, and our home fellowships. These fellowships are always great to keep us together, and strong in the Lord. We also make new friends and build on our old friendships. I love this time together:)
Relationships are so important yes? Jesus knew this to be true, He had many friendships with all types of different people. We need to follow his example and be a friend to the unfriendly, and love the unlovable. Bless our enemies, and pray for them.
People can and will be cruel and mean, so we need to respond in love, not react in anger. I know its easy to say and hard to do sometimes. But I know that His Word says we are more than over comers. We can do this because ALL things are possible through Christ who gives us strength! I have come across a few people in my life that have hurt me, and today I can pray for them. I know what that bitterness can do to you, and I do not intend to let Satan have a stronghold on me in that area, or any other for that matter ever again!! So keep in Gods Word daily, and build on your relationships, make new friends, bring them to Christ by showing His love. That's what we are doing this Fall and Winter, how about you? Stay connected in church, Bible studies, small groups, be with people and SHINE:)

Just as I used Paul in prison I will use you wherever you are or whatever circumstance you are in. Let Me water you with My holy Word, and you will begin to bloom wherever you are planted. Come to Me in prayer and let Me empower you with My spirit. Pruning Hurts

It's been a rough month, I have been through the Pruning part of my Spiritual journey again and it hurts!! I know it's good for us when we go through this but ouch, ya know?! I have had to step back and take a very HARD look at myself, yes I had to examine my motives my attitudes and actions. You know when we get frustrated and angry it can be so easy to blame someone else. Well when there is no peace, we need to look deep inside. Let me tell you, the Lord took me with the help of some very dear friends down a road so I could look DEEP inside. Just a few words from our Lord through my friends and I was on my knees. This road has only one way. . . to the truth, and the truth can hurt! But the truth can also set you free!! I know now that I must press on like Paul says, letting go of the past! Moving forward to what He has planned for me, not what I think He has for me or anyone else for that matter.
I am sure some of you may have felt this way at some time also, or if you haven't you will, and just know that our Lord will see you through because He has a plan for our life, and it's better than we could ever imagine. But it takes some breaking on our part. And let me tell you I was broken, and that is good!! I am not in control, nor do I want to be in control, He sits on the throne, not me:) Praise God!! That's when I had to Surrender the situation or maybe the person over to Him! I had to LET GO! Yes me, let go and let God. . .Have you ever been there? Well its time to stop blaming others, watch our attitudes, Bless, not curse. Most of all lets Forgive and walk in Love, the Love of our Lord, and let Him fight our battles.

January is almost over!! I am so happy!! I am so excited for spring to come, flowers, grass, and bikes, and flip flops, and the beach, riding motorcycles all over the country side. . . . . . .

Keep the Faith

This year for some has not started out so nice. I have had calls for prayers of deaths in families, babies born with little to no chance of survival, marriages on the rocks, health issues, . . . . . Trials!
Yes we all have trials in our lives and this morning as I was praying and reading my devotion, I started to get angry!! I was talking with God well maybe I was talking at Him, and this is where he took me. . . . .Ready?. . . .(James 1 : 2-8) Consider it pure joy my brothers when you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Well let me tell you I used to get angry at that cause how can you be joyful when your going through hell???!!

As I grew and matured in the Lord and as we read on I will explain. . . V4(Perseverance must finish its work so you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any one lacks wisdom he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.) You see our Bible tells to walk by faith and to trust God! We need to continue building our relationship with Him daily in order to keep our faith strong. Cause when the devil comes like a thief in the night we need to be ready and fight!!

The Holy Spirit will give us the confidence we need to hold our head high and know we are a child of the King!! We were bought with a price and no devil in hell can stop us in Jesus name!! We have Authority because of what Jesus did on that cross for us, so walk in it and speak the word of God over your trials, or circumstances and turn them into victories and miracles through Jesus and with the power of the Holy Spirit! I am preaching to myself right now also, cause we all have something we are going through. He is working things out for our good, He is! But its in His time not ours, So lets go through it. and get past it and move onward to new adventures with our Lord yes? I know we can, don't give up, it takes time, it takes work. So Praise Him and be joyful, it will be ok!! Thank goodness our God is so patient and loving. Keep the Faith:) God Bless You and Watch Your Corners:). . . . Oh yeah, Happy Birthday Dad, I know you and Jesus are celebrating love and miss you:)
